Clearly we're all having a great time hunting down the Indiana Jones and the Great Circle achievements, as our latest Xbox gameplay chart shows Indy zooming up to the near top of the chart where — and this is a big deal — it's replaced Minecraft in the top three.

Now, it's big news when anything makes it into the top ten or top five, and an even greater feat to break into the top three, which is usually dominated by Call of Duty, Fortnite, and Minecraft. Of course, these major names often reclaim their places pretty quickly, but it shows how popular Indy has been that a single-player game is rising that high.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle was of course one of the biggest and most-hyped games for the end of 2024, but it's proven itself worthy of such excitement. Tom loved it in his Indiana Jones and the Great Circle review!

Marvel Rivals still sits just below at fourth while Minecraft has moved down to fifth. Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl hasn't had as good luck this week, falling six places to 12. It joined Game Pass a little before Indy, so players might be taking a break to try out the latest major release, but Tom's Stalker 2 review will give you some great reasons to check it out again.

The first of this week's new appearances is Hunt: Showdown 1896, which breaks into the top 40 at 20 after joining Game Pass last week. A little further down, Cyberpunk 2077 has made a sizeable leap, jumping up from 39 to 24, which is perhaps due to Update 2.2 arriving last week.

On the other hand, Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 have both seen a substantial drop: the first has fallen from 16 to 27 and the second from 17 to 28. Just below, we see For The King II making its first appearance at 29th after joining Game Pass. This week's three reappearances are Warframe at 34, Elden Ring at 39, and The First Descendant at 40.

Perhaps Elden Ring's resurgence is partly due to the announcement of Elden Ring Nightreign as a standalone co-op title. Nightreign was one of several big announcements from an action-packed event for The Game Awards — for more on what was shown, check out our round-up of all the Xbox reveals and Game Pass announcements at The Game Awards 2024.
