Most popular Xbox games — Stalker 2 stalks straight into top three

Our latest Xbox gameplay chart shows a lot of love for Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl, with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and Genshin Impact also ranking high.

It seems everybody's happily diving into the Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl achievements, as Stalker 2 has leapt straight into the top three of our latest Xbox gameplay chart. It was one of the most-anticipated upcoming Game Pass games for the end of 2024, but one of last week's other major Game Pass games, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, isn't too far behind.

It's a big deal to see any change in the top ten, let alone a new game breaking into the top three. Stalker 2 launched just last week — Tom loved it in his Stalker 2 review — and is working to tackle its bugs, with its first post-launch Xbox update arriving soon. Stalker 2 has pushed everything else down the chart, as has Microsoft Flight Simulator, which lands at seventh this week. This one's not too surprising, either, as according to Asobo Studio, the game's popularity was one reason behind its big launch issues. Genshin Impact, meanwhile, makes its debut appearance at tenth after finally launching for Xbox last week.

Everything else has been shunted down (aside from NBA 2K25 clinging on at 18th) until we get to EA Sports Madden NFL 25, which has moved up a few spots to 26th, with Sea of Thieves and Starfield also moving up to 31st and 33rd respectively. The only reappearance on this week's chart is Cyberpunk 2077 at 36th, while Fallout 76 rounds out the chart at 40th.
