It seems the fanfare from the Fallout TV show is still going strong with players eager to return to the Fallout 4 achievements and the Fallout 76 achievements, as both games are moving up in this week's chart of the most popular Xbox games. Fallout 4 has managed to overtake Minecraft for third place, while Fallout 76 has just managed to reach the top five. Further down, we have some of the more recent launches from our list of upcoming Game Pass games zooming up the chart. Here is the top 40 Xbox Gameplay Chart for the week ending April 28, 2024.

Fallout 4 and 76 are moving still higher while Fallout 3 and New Vegas aren't feeling the love

There's the usual shuffling up and down to make room for newer appearances, and the first big change is Star Wars Jedi: Survivor jumping straight back into the chart at 20th after its surprise Xbox Game Pass Ultimate addition via EA Play (thanks EA for waiting until after I'd already bought it). Underneath is another recent Game Pass arrival with Another Crab's Treasure at 21st. This one was a day-one addition and is still suffering launch woes, as it has several broken achievements at the moment. Just below, Fallout: New Vegas doesn't seem to be enjoying the same boost as other Fallout games, and has slid down a few spots to 23rd.

Grounded re-joined the top 40 last week after the launch of its Fully Yoked update with four new achievements but is now sliding back down the chart, landing at 28th this week. NHL 24 has jumped up nine spots after joining Xbox Game Pass Ultimate via EA Play earlier in the month, while Ark: Survival Ascended is no longer ascending but has dropped six spots to 31st. Palworld has also had a sizeable drop to 34th, although this one will likely rise and fall a lot as new content is added during its time in Game Preview. Orcs Must Die! 3 is suffering the sad fate of many older Xbox Game Pass games when new additions join the service, and has fallen eight places to 36th this week. Fallout 3, meanwhile, is also not seeing the same good luck as Fallout 4 and Fallout 76, having fallen to 38th. The last two spots on the top 40 are made up of more new Game Pass additions: Manor Lords at 39th and Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes at 40th.

Looking ahead, we're almost out of April but still have plenty of Game Pass games on the way, including a major upcoming Xbox exclusive with Senua's Saga: Hellblade II.
