Xbox Live outage stopping players from getting online

Xbox Live is down in what appears to be a major network outage

Reports of an outage seemingly began sometime around 3.30am PT/ 6.30am ET/ 11.30am BST, with some players encountering the following error message when trying to sign in to Xbox Live on an Xbox console or PC: "Try again in a while. We can't sign you in. Try again in a few minutes or check service status in Xbox Assist." The message is also accompanied by error code '0x87DD0033.' Other players are also seeing the '0x87DD0006' error code when trying to get online.

Xbox Support is yet to acknowledge the issue. According to the Xbox Status page, everything is up and running without issue, though there is a limited outage for Elder Scrolls Online due to scheduled maintenance.

For further updates, keep an eye on the Xbox Status webpage or on the Xbox Support X account. We'll update this story once we find out more.
