The update makes gameplay improvements and gives visual upgrades to six of the game's creatures, as well as a short list of miscellaneous fixes. Studio Wildcard is targetting a mid-April release for the patch on consoles.
At the same time Trion Worlds revealed Defiance 2050 to the world, they also announced a closed beta for the sci-fi shooter MMO. Now we know exactly when that will be with the developer announcing the beta's April date.

Following on from Part 1, the second part of the ID@Xbox GDC roundup looks at the remaining ten titles that are new to us.
At this week's Game Developers Conference, Microsoft will be bringing ID@Xbox to attendees with over 50 titles at the show. Of those titles, 21 haven't been revealed here previously.
