The Necromantic come with Werewolves, Flesh Golems, Ghouls, Zombies and Wights.
The Necromantic are a very versatile race, but their best players are their Werewolves. These lethal killing machines are their main attacking force, providing pure psychopathic fury and claws that can render armour utterly useless.
The UNDEAD race comes with Mummies, Ghouls, Skeletons, Zombies and Wights players but also their own star players: Ramtut III and Count Luthor Von Drakenborg!
An Undead team's greatest asset is their mastery over death itself. Their Regenerate skill makes them very, very difficult to kill…
The NORSE race comes with its own official players (Lineman, Berserker, Runner, Thrower, Ulfwerener, Yhetee) along with a couple of star players: Wilhelm Chaney and Icepelt Hammerblow!
Norsemen are brutal, homicidal maniacs who love battle and beer!. This rolling roadblock may not be the fastest team on the pitch, but with most players benefiting from Block it’s certainly one of the toughest.
The teams of Nurgle come with their Rotters, Pestigors as well as Nurgle Warriors and Beasts.
As with most Chaos teams, the Nurgle team is at its best when it can get stuck in and directly take on opposing players. And if any do happen to get past them, then the Nurgle team’s Beast of Nurgle is there to immobilise them with its lashing tentacles.
Lizardmen race comes with its unique AI and players (skinks, Saurus and Kroxigor) but also their own star players: Slibli and Hemlock!
The biggest strength of the Lizardmen lies in the Skinks' nimbleness and Saurus' amazing power!
WOOD ELVES race comes with its unique AI and players (Passers, Wardancers, catchers, linemen and the Treeman) but also their own star players: Dolfar Longstride and Jordell Freshbreeze!
Elves are amazingly agile and excellent passers and catcher. Avoiding other's tackles is a pure formality for them. Their game could become a true nightmare for other teams not as agile and fast as they are.
Chaos Dwarfs are the twisted descendants of Dwarf explorers who have been terribly affected by the forces of Chaos. In one way they haven’t changed at all, they still love playing Blood Bowl!
The Chaos Dwarfs are defence-oriented teams, benefiting from the great velocity of their bull centaur retrievers and from a very powerful front line that can endure (and apply) a lot of pressure.
Over 8,000 years ago, the Khemri played the first ever games of Blood Bowl against the Slann. With the game’s revival, it was inevitable that these ancient players would return.
Not only do they possess the Regeneration skill but some players also benefit from Block and Pass. The Khemri team therefore surpasses the other Undead teams in all phases by playing the ball as well as the living races.
Although this team includes a number of extremely capable players, it is let down by the unreliability of the Vampires themselves. Their insatiable appetite for blood means they’re easily distracted, and before you know it, they’re all heading off into the crowd for a quick bite to eat
Halfling players are too short to throw or catch, only run at half speed, and let’s admit it, they’ve got little hope of blocking anything! Most Halfling coaches make up for this lack of quality with sheer quantity. After all, if you can get half a dozen players in the opposing team’s endzone, and by some miracle end up with the ball, all it takes is one of them to score that all-important goal.
With Blood Bowl 2®: Official Expansion, add a wealth of new content to your Blood Bowl 2 game: 8 new races (Amazon, Ogres, Goblins, Halflings, Vampires, Elven Union, Underworld Denizens, New race: The Kislev Circus.), new multiplayer modes and tools, a new solo experience, the All-Star Players and Mixed teams, and a new Khemri stadium.
When the NAF collapsed, many Elven teams were left penniless. Those that survived the financial fallout are not as rich as their High Elf cousins nor as well equipped, but they still sure know how to play!
Underworld teams are an unlikely combination of Skaven and Goblins. These teams are famous for the innovative dirty tricks and dastardly tactics they use to win, and for the violent arguments that break out when the over ambitious plans back fire.
Long ago, driven by a desire for adventure, the Valkyries of the Norse settlement in Lustria sailed away from their menfolk and founded a colony deep within the estuary of the river Amaxon. Now these ferocious warriors have taken to the Blood Bowl pitch – and Nuffle save those who dare to challenge them!
Ogre teams have existed since the forming of the NAF and have even won the XV Blood Bowl. However, as any right-minded person will tell you, having more than one Ogre in the same place at the same time is a disaster waiting to happen!
A Goblin team's game plan owes much more to hope than potential. Goblins make quite good catchers because they are small and agile, but the art of throwing is sadly lost to them. While the chances of them blocking anything larger than a Halfling are remote, this never seems to bother Goblin players and the use of a particularly devious secret weapon will even allow a Goblin team to win a match.
Unreceptive to Blood Bowl for many long years, the great Kislev empire has recently become very keen on this sport. The spark was lit by a rumour about the great Tsarina, who supposedly had an “adventure” with a young blitzer. The popularity of she that is called the Ice Queen is such that all young Kislevite males decided to take on the sport in order to seduce her.
Blood Bowl 2 smashes Warhammer and American football together, in an explosive cocktail of turn-based strategy, humour and brutality, adapted from Games Workshop’s famous boardgame. Lead the star team Reikland Reavers in the new solo story campaign or organize championships, create your own teams comprised of eight races from the Warhammer world and trade players in the online persistent mode.
