At retail, there's the latest Adventure Time title, while digitally there's a reboot of the Tempest franchise and a new ACA NEOGEO title. The remaining eight titles arrive courtesy of ID@Xbox.

While retro may well be the main focus of the PLAY Expo events, modern gaming isn't left out completely. It was rather fitting to find that one of the latter titles was Llamasoft's upcoming Tempest reboot.

In August, Atari announced Tempest 4000, a reboot of the 1980s arcade-style shooter. Overseeing its progress is Llamasoft's Jeff Minter, known for two Tempest reboots. Screenshots have been released.

After celebrating its 45th anniversary just a few months ago, arcade king Atari has announced a reboot of one of its classic games: Tempest. At the helm is Jeff Minter, known for already producing two sequels to the 1981 shooter.
