This is a lot easier in co-op but unfortunately it's local co-op only. It's still doable solo though, you just gotta utilize your time like bringing the cooking pots over to the cutting board and putting 3 ingredients in it to carry instead of going back and forth. Also B is boost which I didn't figure out until late in the game lol

I made a video giving some tips as well.
Mr BlackMagikI'm also positive the final boat level (on the far left of the map) is impossible to 3-star solo.

BiLLzuMaNaTiYea level 6-4 I think, I tried last night and I couldn't do it. I'm gonna try again when I have time. They might have to patch it and lower the score

oWKD ASSASS1No+1 positive didn't know about the boost laugh thanx for the top hopefully will make things a little easier lol

J2B9Played through coop from 2-3 on. Some difficult levels bit all manageable, can't imagine doing it all solo but I guess you would get good at it. We struggled with the final boss tho, had to do it at least 5 times which sucks since it's 12 minutes. Seems like you have to get 3 stars on it to even beat it tho or else it just restarts the level
Posted by J2B9 on 04 Aug 16 at 09:13
BiLLzuMaNaTiLol oh yea the last level was tough. You just have to get all the orders done to complete it and you get 3 stars.
Posted by BiLLzuMaNaTi on 04 Aug 16 at 11:17
BiLLzuMaNaTiNo problem and thanks oWKD ASSASS1No :D

The Batman IRLAny specific tips for level 2-2 in 2 player coop?
Posted by The Batman IRL on 04 Aug 16 at 23:15
Squ4rexIs level 2-2 the rat level? I got 3 stars on that last night with my wife by having each player focus on 1 dish by themselves. So I would take the first order and she would take the second one. We would take produce one at a time, chop it, and immediately put it in the pot. Doing it this way, the rats never came out and we got enough points.
Posted by Squ4rex on 04 Aug 16 at 23:35
iiCatastrophicPretty sure some of the scoring isn't tuned for solo, the only ones I can't beat have a score of 160, when even not messing up at all I can barely even get over 100.

x iKrueLTyyy2 or 4 playerco op is by far the easiest to run through the game. Only 3 people is just as hard as doing solo probably not as hard but still hard. My gf and I run through these levels easily but when add my little brother in its a sh*t storm.
Posted by x iKrueLTyyy on 05 Aug 16 at 23:51
b0seiju@x iKruelTyyy. Could be the "little brother". We did it we three guys today, when you put some time in dividing the tasks all is pretty easy.

Bad KermitI'm having a super tough time with a co-op partner on 6-3. Also, how do you boost in solo (or with a split controller)?
Posted by Bad Kermit on 08 Aug 16 at 18:41
BiLLzuMaNaTiIt's still B in solo I don't know about split controller tho
Posted by BiLLzuMaNaTi on 08 Aug 16 at 19:16
x iKrueLTyyySo finished it all with 3 stars and the main profile only got the save onion kingdom but didn't get this achievement and the 2nd profile didn't get anything... It's stuck at 96% on the snap achievements but when clicked on it says 100%... star total is at 90 stars which is the total amount ugh...
Posted by x iKrueLTyyy on 09 Aug 16 at 02:11
The Batman IRLI have 2 profiles, mine and my wife's, we are on the last level now, will this and the save onion kingdom unlock for both profiles?
Posted by The Batman IRL on 09 Aug 16 at 17:48
BiLLzuMaNaTiThey didn't pop for my co op partner :/
Posted by BiLLzuMaNaTi on 09 Aug 16 at 18:59
ChardcoreI'm in the same boat as krueltyyy. My wife and I played it through, got 90 stars. Says 96% :(
Posted by Chardcore on 10 Aug 16 at 00:36
The Batman IRLOh my wife is not gonna be happy when this only pops for me ;)
Posted by The Batman IRL on 10 Aug 16 at 13:00
segagamerCan confirm that it will only pop for player 1 in co-op. I strongly suggest that everyone finds a co-op partner (or three) for any stages that they're having trouble with. The game is *much* easier with one. Managed to three star all stages in one sitting without too much trouble this way.
Posted by segagamer on 10 Aug 16 at 16:53
MrScarySquirrelHow many kitchens are there? Is it just 6 in total, ie. one for each 'world'?
Posted by MrScarySquirrel on 12 Aug 16 at 09:28
ll Kaer MorhenScary squirel there's about 30 levels all up
Posted by ll Kaer Morhen on 13 Aug 16 at 14:21
KamtrocityEvery level is possible to do solo, I managed to do it. Kind of wish there was an achievement for solo completion and co-op completion. There were some levels that were tough but managed in the end. I actually found the last world levels the hardest just because you had to figure out the strategy which takes a few attempts.

Oh. just a personal tip. I never moved the pot from the stove unless the level made it difficult to get from the chopping board to the stove.

And finally... When your in the last minute try and concentrate on the newest food tickets with the easiest recipes. That way you'll maximise your tips without any penalties.

WilkiadamThis achievement is stuck at 95% complete despite every level on the overworld showing 3 stars. I also didn't get the achievement for beating the final boss either, and I was player 1 throughout the entire playthrough.

EDIT: I was frustrated having a weird gamerscore, so today (9-21-16), I tried beating the final stage solo to see if it would get my achievements to pop, and it sure enough they both did. Too bad solo in this game isn't too much fun!

Kanchanaburilevel 6-3 and 6-4 have bullshit solo scores needed for 3 stars. only 10 points lower than coop....
Posted by Kanchanaburi on 09 Oct 16 at 06:51
Niuban6-3 and 6-4 were not too difficult solo... 6-2 and 6-1 on the other hand (6-2 I'm on the brink of but always just a few seconds shy) are hard as heck. I'm not even CLOSE in 6-1. I'm thinking you have to run thru the small gap with one of your people and help chop to knock out more things then run back thru when things shift
Posted by Niuban on 10 Oct 16 at 22:20
hoogI know that my comment doesn't help the users who are trying to do this solo, but I did want to add that doing this with two people is definitely manageable and possible. Great couch co-op game so I encourage you to find someone to play this with

MyOhMyPancakesI should have this achievement but it didn't pop up and I know why. This is a warning to all players playing this, that are not host. DO NOT START ANOTHER FILE WHEN YOU ARE HALF WAY THROUGH ANOTHER PLAY THROUGH. Me and my brother were playing it, and he was host, we got to world 3 I think before I went to single player to see how to play single player. We went back on his file and beat the game, but when his achievements popped up and mine didn't, I look at my achievements and see it has a 15% completion on it. I was mad but my achievement score didn't end at 0 or a 5 for years so I didn't really care.

K4rn4geThere's a new and FREE DLC out. Not sure if it adds achievements or not or makes this achievement easier or harder. https://www.microsoft.com/en-US/store/p/The-Festive-Seasonin...
Posted by K4rn4ge on 06 Dec 16 at 16:51
MarkyshizzleI tried this with my gf and it was impossible for us to gold the 3rd level doing well, i did it my first time solo, maybe patches have changed the scores for coop
Posted by Markyshizzle on 08 Jan 17 at 23:37
BFalnesCan anyone confirm if what K4rn4ge posted about the free DLC makes the achievement harder or easier, or the achievement only track the main game? smile
Posted by BFalnes on 29 Mar 17 at 18:23
AspiringDoctorI've done every other level with 3 stars, but I can't seem to manage the final ice level with two floating ice blocks. cry
Edit: Only a few hours later, I completed the level with the help of my girlfriend. Some levels are definitely much easier with two people than solo.

ZeroDesolationWe have a boost? I didn't know that. Currently playing through the game and have 3 starred all the boards but just got to the space area and it's starting to get a little harder. That boost is going to really help.
Posted by ZeroDesolation on 06 Jul 17 at 12:01
DragonFangDanWell this sucks. Just completed the game 100% with my co-op parter (who was player 1) and I didn't get this achievement or Hero of Thyme. All the rest popped the exact same time. Game still says I'm 0% on both... Hopefully this play through takes less than 6 hours.
Posted by DragonFangDan on 20 Jul 17 at 05:02
EurydaceThe tip about moving the pot to the cutting board on 6-3 is wonderful. Thanks Billz.
Posted by Eurydace on 16 Jan 18 at 07:51
RealistIdealistNote: You MUST be player one to get this, otherwise it's someone else's file. It will only unlock for player 1!

RED3MPTION 4 1Can you go back to replay levels to get more stars after defeating the Ever Peckish, or is the game done and you would have to start a new game to get all the stars?
Posted by RED3MPTION 4 1 on 30 Jul 18 at 02:36
iceyzRED3MPTION, you can go back and replay any levels. I just beat the storyline last night and only have 4 more 3 stars left. I was able to go back and get a few of them before turning in for bed.

NfK Andr3aI ve beaten the boss 2 times, i ve played in local coop with My gf, but we didn't obtain this achievement. Why??
Posted by NfK Andr3a on 03 Feb 19 at 14:33
Dragonborn GearNot saving player two's (or more) progress independently for achievement earning kind of kills the point of co-op to a small extent.

YellowGermA local co op game is bullshit. I never get my husband to play this, not even sure if he’ll comprehend. And the kid is 4. I don’t get developers, I play online because I don’t want people in my house. This ruined overcooked and the game with the yarn boy which I forgot how to spell 2
