For this achievement you have to play the following modes:

Single Player or Optional Co-Op

Arcade (1P-4P)
Survival (1P)

Multiplayer Modes (Requires at least 2 Controllers, Versus requires minimum 3)

Survival (2P-4P)
Crystal Quest (2P-4P)
Deathmatch (2P-4P)
Seize The Large Crystal (2P-4P)
Versus (3P - 4P) CONFIRMED you can do Player 1+2 versus Player 3. Only 3 controllers required!
Kill The Enemies (2P-4P)

I have checked versus and I haven't been able to switch to the other team with just 2 controllers, will test in the next 2 nights if you can do it with just 3P or if you need 4P

I agreed, luckily I had a friend with 2 extra controllers to do mine, but I did go through each game mode to confirm if you could do em with however many.

EverStoned77Finally got this moronic achievement, had to get 2 extra controllers anyway so I can kick my daughter & her boyfriend's @$$ in Beach Buggy Racing laugh
Didn't even have to play or anything,the achievement popped as soon as I pressed "Start Game" in Versus mode ... had already done the others back when I thought I could complete the game with just 2 controllers wave
