Edit: To make things faster, instead of going back to the menu you can save just in front of the villager before starting to trade. Quit and reload if he doesn't have the book.

I used this video 'cause it's the best method I found and don't need to search for seeds, it's in the tutorial world

Leo AscendentVideo makes it tougher than it needs to be. I made one that hastens it up a bit, using the tutorial world. Jyst requires to reload vs starting all over again.

BadMotorYou don't have to go mine crystals over in the building - if you leave the area with the villagers (eg: go to the animal, beacon or anvil tutorials next door) and come back the chest has 11 more crystals in it. This is the same with every resource in the tutorial area.

This seems to be unlimited unless you save & load the game. I assume it's because then it's no longer a tutorial map but a single player map. The chest contents don't refresh then. So if you're going to do Leo & Tan's method, make sure you get crystals before maybe?

It's not much, but it makes getting crystals to buy/check for villager contents quicker.

KameraThis was mentioned in the XB1 solution for this achievement but save after the second trade and then quit out if you trade for the glass and the book doesn't show up afterwards. I ended up getting it within 5 tries but it definitely saves you time overall.

CRT JEDIMARKI followed the video, but did the save and re-load method on the new aquatic tutorial world. Just had to find the Librarian villager. It took me exactly 93 re-loads. So, about 2 hours just to get the stupid book. (I frigging hate this game, and I hate this achievement) angry

MattusMattus17Just got this achievement in the Update Aquatic tutorial world. Took about 30-45 minutes of resetting. To make it quicker, make sure you save right before the villager offers that final book. It'll cut the time by about 25%

TheFlaminBeanIt's possible I don't need to say this cos I'm the only one stupid enough to make the mistake, but make sure you save the game before pressing LT on the villager THE PENULTIMATE TIME. The game decides what the villager will spawn with when he sparkles green, BEFORE you press LT on it. If you overwrite your save after the green sparkles, it doesn't matter how many times you quit and reload, he'll always have the same book. Learn from my mistakes....!

TheFlaminBeanAlso, there doesn't seem to be much ocean that counts as deep enough for this achievement. In the latest tutorial world (aquatic), the achievement popped for me at X: 425 and Z: 22. There might be a spot closer to the villagers than that but that's where I got it

Mikeplays00If anyone needs help with this one message me here or on xbox, I have a few pairs of the boots in a world with a deep ocean biome. (All earned legitimately AFK fishing) Only thing I ask is please give the boots back when you're done? So I can help others. Or if you keep them, at least use them to help others :)

Brett Evans15Mine too. I use exit without saving for a couple of times probably like 30-45 minutes before I finally got Frost Walker. Thanks to the villagers in Minecraft for me in this game. And finally, I got Let It Go! Achievement. Thanks!

techy804honestly, the best way to get this would be if someone found a seed with a shipwreck with Frost Walker enchanted boots, but as far as I know, no seed like that has been found

Cobb AUSAs of March 2023, this is still one of the best ways to get this achievement, It took over an hour but still wasn't that bad, considering you save in front of the librarian villager.
For me it popped when i was at coordinates... 101, 52, 59

Managed to get the boots on tutorial world. I think I may have the beacon fully powered on my world too if you also need that achievement
