Hello all! After completing this mode rather quickly I thought I’d share some tips that made this a breeze. The only difference I felt from Easy was the damage your character specifically takes. So don’t rush out, play it safe, and you’ll have no issues. Even saying that, besides a few BS deaths and situations where you cannot use your own guns (like on-rail turret sections), I never struggled at all. I’ll try to keep it short and sweet since, if you’re playing NG+ on Infamous, you’ve obviously beaten the game and are somewhat decked in terms of guns and perks.

**Just a quick note, I own all of the DLC which I’ll reference in my first and perhaps most important tip. So let’s get started:

-The weapons you unlock from simply owning the “Lost on Mars” DLC should absolutely be your bread and butter for this mode. More specifically, the “Tazer Spazer Annihilazer”. It has unlimited ammo (it recharges) and instant kills almost everything in the game, including helicopters, planes, and heavy infantry. I also carried the “Nerve Reaper” in case the Tazer overheated, but that almost never happened. I also carried a regular sniper for those really pesky far-away snipers. However, on top of insane damage, the Tazer has insane range. It’ll be your go-to for almost every situation.

-I only ever went for missions that would bring me to boss showdowns the fastest. I’d prioritize main missions, then outposts, then side missions. Doing that, along with blowing up silos, and rescuing prisoners on the road, I cleared each zone in about 3 hours and change, Jacob’s in 2 and a half.

-For companions, Boomer the dog is a staple. His passive that spots everyone is really helpful, so you don’t get snuck up on by a shotgun guy or something. For the second one (which I’d argue is optional) I chose Peaches. The reason I stuck with animals is I felt they can take more damage and had a higher frequency of kills. Human companions will sometimes pull through, but more often than not they stick to cover doing nothing and end up getting downed. The less babysitting you’re doing, the more killing you’re doing. In the event one of them died, I’d pick Nick the pilot.

-Again, saving time is helpful. ABUSE the ability to Air Drop and then use your Wingsuit to get over to where you need to go. That way, you save time and never have to worry about random enemies/animals to kill you.

-One last thing: you can’t “Walk Away” from the final confrontation. You have to choose “Resist”. I didn’t unlock the achievement, but just hit Continue and did the fight and it popped after the credits.

Good luck guys! It’s really not that difficult, but feel free to add any tips of your own if you felt I missed anything. toast
Dogman CatboyI've only just got started on New Game+ but I'm finding the armed helicopters, like Tulip, are ideal for taking out the outposts. Just hover well above the site and pick off the peggies from a distance. Feels a little bit cheaty, but then again, we've earned the right to use these tools!
Posted by Dogman Catboy on 29 Aug 18 at 20:22
alandonovanThanks for the tips, very useful.
How did you find the staged boss fights, especially Jacob, they were bad enough on normal?
Posted by alandonovan on 29 Aug 18 at 20:33
hm9197Top man. I'll give this a go at some point in the week!
Posted by hm9197 on 29 Aug 18 at 21:24
FoogaDogman, yea I used one for the Jacob statue mission, and I thought the same thing. The helicopters would be a nice alternative for sure.

Alan, Jacob was pretty easy. I just went from cover to cover making sure to kill all of his lackeys before moving forward. Climbed up and just beamed him with the Tazer. Every other fight, they’d almost always instantly disappear to their next phase because the Tazer hits so hard.
Posted by Fooga on 29 Aug 18 at 21:39
BiggDopeHey, man! I'm assuming based off your post that it took you around 9ish hours to get everything done?

Also, I cannot check right now, but so long I completed the Mars DLC and got all its achievements, I should have the Tazer available for use, rigjht?
Posted by BiggDope on 29 Aug 18 at 22:26
FoogaAround 9 sounds about right. And yeah all I did was go for achievements as well, so it’s a safe bet you have them all unlocked.
Posted by Fooga on 29 Aug 18 at 22:35
UtdRhysWait, I’m a bit confused. Do I have to take out every single outpost, silo etc as if I’m 100%’ing the game again or can I only the main missions that are for the campaign??
Posted by UtdRhys on 30 Aug 18 at 00:16
El LuigiDid you do it all solo or did you have a coop partner to rush in through the missions?
Posted by El Luigi on 30 Aug 18 at 03:24
SuperDarkConkeri was beated infamous difficult on new game plus and pretty not bad. Cheers! :) :D
Posted by SuperDarkConker on 30 Aug 18 at 04:12
MushaConvoyDoes the achievement unlock for both players in co-op? Or is it yet another "host only" thing.
Posted by MushaConvoy on 30 Aug 18 at 04:43
SuperDarkConkeri don't know, but i were doing on solo.
Posted by SuperDarkConker on 30 Aug 18 at 04:56
alandonovanthanks fooga I was more interested in those dam runs through the house, with the weapons you pick up on the way, walk the path?
Posted by alandonovan on 30 Aug 18 at 06:22
FoogaMataholic, no you don’t. But doing main missions and outposts will get you there the fastest. If you happen to see hostages or silos it just helps close the gap.

El Luigi, I did it all solo. I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t unlock for a coop partner but I had no way to test that (to answer Musha’s question as well).

Alan, that part is only lame if you rush. Even with the timer I managed to take it pretty slowly and peak at enemies.
Posted by Fooga on 30 Aug 18 at 07:27
UtdRhysI was planning on playing AC: Origins before the next batch of new games come out, but I guess not now. Too many games releasing new DLC for me to keep up with. Going to start it soon, just got 1000 more zombies to kill. Cheers for the help.
Posted by UtdRhys on 30 Aug 18 at 09:54
MushaConvoyCheers Fooga, will probably play through it with my brother, will let you know what happens in co-op if someone doesnt beat me to it ;)
Posted by MushaConvoy on 30 Aug 18 at 11:46
alandonovanCheers fooga, never thought to slow down lol :)

AShotOfAwesomeSo we can't walk away in the end to skip the fight?
*** Spoiler - click to reveal ***
Posted by AShotOfAwesome on 31 Aug 18 at 13:41
SuperDarkConkerNo, you can't get the achievment walk away in the end to skip the fight. I were did walk away not get the achievement. you must to fight with the father, then nuke ending finish, end credit will unlock achievement pop.
Posted by SuperDarkConker on 31 Aug 18 at 14:11
FoogaLike I said in my guide, I chose the “Walk Away” ending, but the achievement didn’t unlock. I just hit continue at the main menu and it brought me right back to before I confronted him, and I chose “Resist” and got it.

So if you still want to see that ending you can, you’ll just have to sit through his monologue twice. laugh
Posted by Fooga on 31 Aug 18 at 18:36
LLboxedThis advice is spot on! I'm using the Tazer and the Nut Hugger. Turns out the Nut hugger is fantastic against vehicles of any kind. Locks onto them and BOOM! Having a lot of fun with these OP weapons actually - I think I need to try a few more of them.

The only really annoying parts are the scenes where you have to go without any weapons (ie escaping from somewhere).
Posted by LLboxed on 31 Aug 18 at 19:42
SuperDarkConkerYeah, I already know about this, Fooga. lol.
Posted by SuperDarkConker on 31 Aug 18 at 22:01
AES0PSo the achievement does unlock for co-op partners! I ran through the campaign solo and once I got to the last mission invited a friend in, fought John Seed, credits rolled, unlocked for both of us. A word of advice if doing this though, the co-op partner starts on a atv during the escape sequence, let them get in front of the hosts truck otherwise the host will get too far ahead and you'll both die repeatedly.clap
Posted by AES0P on 01 Sep 18 at 00:25
FoogaLLboxed, oh yeah I didn’t even think to use the lock on weapon. Totally forgot it existed. I’m prettt convinced all the Mars weapons e are OP.

Conker, that’s fine. My comment was more for others who are reading. smile

AES0P, that’s awesome news! I’ll add it to the solution.

Cpt Slaugh7erDoes anyone have any tips for completing the first mission? I'm having a ridiculously annoying time completing the driving sequence as i always run out of medkits.
Posted by Cpt Slaugh7er on 04 Sep 18 at 18:29
FoogaThose rail sequences are the most annoying for sure. Just practice getting your dynamite throws down and shoot whatever’s closest to you. It took me a few tries as well.
Posted by Fooga on 05 Sep 18 at 04:57
Cpt Slaugh7erGot past it finally after no joke probably like three dozen attempts. It's funny because the rest of the game has been pretty straightforward. What I find helped me the most on that section was to actually press B to lean out the window. I swear their hit detection is worse when you're out rather than ducking in and out. Turn vibration off helps too. Also spread out your medkits to the points where there is no enemies. Right when you get behind the building after the first roadblock, when he mentions the plane, and right before the bridge were the best spots for me.
Posted by Cpt Slaugh7er on 05 Sep 18 at 20:45
NeXuS23Did everything with Tazer and Nut Hugger, Boomer and Peaches, it was straight forward, only thing challenging or better boring was the forced on north missions and of course all the non-skippable movies.

What also sucked is that the game always and i mean always changes your weapon switch you set, i ended with removing everything but Tazer and Nut Hugger so that it can't switch them around. Because i can't count how many times i died only because i suddenly had another gun as expected on hitting Y.

Faith was peanuts this time.
John was no issue after i called in Nick Rye for the air flight.
Jacob was boring and annoying as usual.

The magic dart forced on missions also hit a new low this time, as i got hit 2000 feet above ground in a chopper and the game then didn't know what to do and decided to slowly, and i mean very slowly land that chopper for me before finally switching to the forced on story mission. It was like if the game wanted to show me how messed up this is a last time before i shelf it for good.
Posted by NeXuS23 on 07 Sep 18 at 13:19
panda jerkAlmost done, just some of Jacob’s area left, but I am absolutely stuck on the third Sacrifice the Weak mission. I can sometimes just get down the slide but either have just seconds left or almost no health. If there are any tips, let me know. Thanks.
Posted by panda jerk on 07 Sep 18 at 23:52
FoogaI just took it really slow in the larger rooms, panda. If you rush through the hallways you’ll have enough time to let you play it safe.
Posted by Fooga on 08 Sep 18 at 00:14
NeXuS23Yeah the Jacob's are annoying, but if time is your problem, you get +5 secs every time if you fail or let fail enough. Else like Fooga said, rush the first sections, you need to memorize a bit but it's always left to right there and you should have around ~20 secs at the large room area.

Also for the SMG Area before it's, shoot the one left, the one right, run in to left , climb left, climb left, shoot the right, shoot another right, jump into slide.

Then at the large room Assault Rifle Area it's shoot the one on the right, run in, cover right, shoot the one left, again left, upper right, upper middle, bottom middle, bottom middle, run toward door, shoot the one on the right mostly behind cover go trough door.

And for the LMG Area, shoot left, shoot right, go to door, shoot the one in front ... then quickly shoot as they appear left, right, front, front, go trough door, shoot right, kill Eli in front, done.

Yeah i had to repeat it several times too... It's annoying and boring, but you will do it.

After that the nightmare level comes where i suggest to immediately take some drugs (Ultimate Hunter, Speed and Armor) and then run around and use the Nut Hugger to destroy the towers from distance and the Tazer for everything else.

The Jacob Section itself was easy then (at least for me) first take cover kill wolfes and snipers and then rush forward from cover to cover while sliding, and take cover kill the rest and then safely climb up, but beware of the puma there ... then kill Jacob, if you use the Tazer it will probably skip right to the cut screen if you hit him.
Posted by NeXuS23 on 08 Sep 18 at 06:11
panda jerkThanks Fooga and NeXuS23! Got it this morning...finally. My only tip for Sacrifice the Weak is that for most every room don’t actually go into the room, stay back, and hit them from the doorway.
Posted by panda jerk on 08 Sep 18 at 18:23
UnlikeKaijuIt would be great if there was an option to start this lol stupid question but how the hell do you do new game+ ? I've been told by one person it just pops up when load up the game but I've had nothing. No option anywhere to start it and I've finished the game. Tried re-installing the game, tried finishing the game from first play-through at the last checkpoint to see if it would pop afterwards but it freezes every single time in the end cut-scene roll
Posted by UnlikeKaiju on 12 Sep 18 at 14:09
FoogaIt’s an option on the main menu right after pressing start. That’s super weird.
Posted by Fooga on 12 Sep 18 at 19:50
UnlikeKaijuYeah I don't have that... no idea why. Guess the only other thing I could do is finish the game again to see if that triggers it to become available but I couldn't be bothered so I might leave this last achievement for another time.
Posted by UnlikeKaiju on 12 Sep 18 at 23:49
FoogaWell worst case scenario you can find someone with the checkpoint. I tried googling your problem but nothing came up. facepalm
Posted by Fooga on 13 Sep 18 at 02:24
UnlikeKaijuGuess I'll try ask away, doubt many people have the checkpoint but can only hope. With that said, if any-one is reading these comments and is either almost through their new game plus or thinking about starting it? Please consider helping a fellow TA member out laugh I could return the favour by helping with other achievements in the game if need.

I had a google search too and nothing. I feel like somehow the game thinks I haven't completed it like gone all the way to the credits which I know I have. But even if I wanted to make sure I can't because the end cut-scene goes to black screen which has been an issue for people since day one on various loading sections. angry
Posted by UnlikeKaiju on 13 Sep 18 at 03:15
FoogaDo you have another Xbox One? Maybe trying on another console (even a friends) could fix the problem for you.
Posted by Fooga on 13 Sep 18 at 05:02
UnlikeKaijuYup I tried that already as well and same thing happened. I've tried clearing the cache and all the usual steps they recommend you to do if issues like this happen but I've had no luck so far cry Will probably power through it after Shadow of the Tomb Raider is done haha thanks for the ideas though dude. Thumbs up on the guide too!
Posted by UnlikeKaiju on 13 Sep 18 at 07:22
FoogaAppreciate it. Let me know if you ever find a workaround and maybe I can add it to my guide since it pertains to the mode. I’ll credit you, too. toast
Posted by Fooga on 13 Sep 18 at 10:46
Darth Maul FTSSo exactly when van you invite a coop partner to get them the achievement as well. Is it when you go to confront Jacob or when you are given the option to Walk away or Resist?
Posted by Darth Maul FTS on 17 Sep 18 at 14:58
FoogaDo it before you confront Jacob to be safe.
Posted by Fooga on 18 Sep 18 at 01:21
Darth Maul FTSOkay thanks
Posted by Darth Maul FTS on 18 Sep 18 at 17:05
Darth Maul FTSYep it works invite your friend before you confront Joseph and both of you get it after the credits
Posted by Darth Maul FTS on 19 Sep 18 at 12:46
LavashleyJust to make it clear for everyone, in the final confrontation with Joseph, make sure when your faced with the decision to resist or walk away, CHOOSE RESIST, others wise the achievement won’t work after the credits!

The first time round I choose to walk away and my heart sank when it didn’t work after the credits, but thankfully it let me confront him again and I was kinda thinking it was because of the certain ending I choose. Good luck! clap
Posted by Lavashley on 21 Sep 18 at 10:18
FoogaI mentioned this in the guide. wink

ell635Hi Fooga,

Wonderful achievement guide. And you’ve also been very engaging with the comments in your solution. Good of you to dedicate yourself to the comments section of your achievement guide to answer any additional questions and provide extra tips.

I’ve read through the whole comment feed to pick up any extras I might need once I give this achievement a go. I’m still currently completing my first playthrough of Far Cry 5 so I won’t be starting New Game+ immediately, but this guide is going to be a great help. So +1 from me! :D

All I would say is there’s no need to be so controlling over what comments are being made. Commenting back at every person demanding them to not use this guide’s comment section as a place to ask for help on the co-op save file solution is coming across a bit toxic from my perspective while reading through. Just let it go.

I understand where you’re coming from. People who comment here asking for co-op save method assistance will probably not receive the help they require this way.

But you can’t really expect to control or censor comments coming in? Here’s the best thing you could do:

I would just include in your original guide comments - in the IMPORTANT REMINDER #2 near the top - a polite request that your guide is not designed for users to post comments requesting for help with the Co-op final boss save file solution. Rather than just that request, explain the correct ways that users should seek out that type of solution.

They can use the TA function to say they are looking for help to boost this achievement. They can search for any game sessions with this achievement to see if anyone is currently offering their time to support people who need this achievement. They can post on TA forums to see if anyone can help. They can use the other solution guide’s comment section to ask for help. Or they could perhaps create their own game session requesting for support from someone who already has the achievement although this would be the least likely method of obtaining the assistance they require.

Last resort they could see who has unlocked this achievement and perhaps private message them asking if they’d be willing to spare 5-10mins to help them unlock the achievement.

Hope this helps :)
Posted by ell635 on 30 Sep 18 at 07:50
FoogaI’m not being toxic. People should know by now that asking for help on a solution will get you nowhere, and to either look for or make a session. Also not trying to be controlling. You might be reading too much into it (and writing for that matter), but I took your idea under consideration and altered my second update.
Posted by Fooga on 30 Sep 18 at 11:08
Boernie247Maybe someone already mentioned it in the comments, but I wonder if I can complete Joseph's final now, get the achievement and then still being able to reload the last mission in a few weeks to help a friend getting the Achievement.
Posted by Boernie247 on 02 Oct 18 at 21:17
FoogaNo it works like the regular mode where once you get the true ending that gives the achievement, when you reload you can’t confront him anymore.
Posted by Fooga on 03 Oct 18 at 00:44
Boernie247Thanks for the info.
Posted by Boernie247 on 03 Oct 18 at 07:04
UggadunkMy friend joined my game just before the final encounter. After the credits, I unlocked the achievement, but he did not. Not sure what went wrong (obviously)
Posted by Uggadunk on 04 Oct 18 at 18:12
UnlikeKaijuSo I never found a way to fix the issue that I stated in the comment previously, ended up going through a second time on Easy and now New Game+ has unlocked. Time to run through the game yet again for a third time for this achievement. Ugh! facepalm
Posted by UnlikeKaiju on 05 Oct 18 at 04:09
FoogaUgga, were you on Jacob’s island when you invited him? Or perhaps you had already started the mission?

Kaiju, that sucks man but glad you managed to finally get it to unlock.
Posted by Fooga on 05 Oct 18 at 05:00
I was just outside the island
Posted by Uggadunk on 05 Oct 18 at 05:10
XboxoholicHey Fooga, I'm up to the final mission now and I want to help people boost this. However, I'm not sure how to preserve the checkpoint. Do you know how to do this so multiple people can get the achievement?
Posted by Xboxoholic on 07 Oct 18 at 20:30
FoogaEdited my guide to remove clutter so people could get to my guide faster, and took the liberty of adding how to keep your checkpoint. toast
Posted by Fooga on 07 Oct 18 at 20:54
Captain Ice PopI'm speculating obviously but just like Uggadunk, me and my partner finished this last night except my partner helped out for the duration of my final area and he did not get the achievement, maybe the recent update has made this host only? Would be interesting to know if anymore has dual unlocked this recently?
Posted by Captain Ice Pop on 11 Oct 18 at 09:40
FoogaCaptain, when was the update? I haven’t really played the game since the last achievements dropped. If another update happened recently and now people aren’t getting the achievement, I’ll just go ahead and delete the checkpoint stuff out of my guide.
Posted by Fooga on 14 Oct 18 at 09:37
Jamiereloaded23Looks like this has been patched as I just tried it with someone that offered to help and it didn't pop at the end as it should have. He's helped a couple of people now and none of us have unlocked the achievement. If anyone manages to get this via hosting someone could they please post what they did to get it to work.
Posted by Jamiereloaded23 on 17 Oct 18 at 18:24
FoogaThanks for letting me know, Jamie.
Posted by Fooga on 17 Oct 18 at 19:51
do you guy's know if you can do the entire new game + co-op and both will get the achievement?
Posted on 18 Oct 18 at 10:34
FoogaNo idea, but at that point you and whoever else would probably be better off just doing it solo. It’s really not hard and you’re not having the guest risk wasting 7-8 hours of their time.
Posted by Fooga on 18 Oct 18 at 20:51
Ok cheers mate I'll try and do it
Posted on 18 Oct 18 at 21:24
Stealth DavidOuch sucks if its patched glad I got it done
Posted by Stealth David on 18 Oct 18 at 21:57
No, it doesn't give it to the friend. I just did this over the weekend and had my friend join at the last little bit and it didn't pop for him. The Mars DLC guns make this a joke.
Posted by WayzoftheRaven on 23 Oct 18 at 14:08
ok thanks i was hoping if both people started it from start to finish both could get it.

i'll probably do the mars DLC after farcry 3
Posted on 23 Oct 18 at 15:14
HollabackGamingI can say as of December 12th the coop method works. I started a NG+ playthrough and liberated the first tiny island. My friend had a NG+ playthrough and made it to the last mission and invited me right before Joseph and Resisted and we both got it.

Sera Di SiahIf I want to save a checkpoint and help people, how do I save that save in the end?
Posted by Sera Di Siah on 06 Jan 19 at 14:01
FoogaI’m not entirely sure as I didn’t do that, but I’d imagine once the guest gets the achievement, quitting the game and then deleting your local save and redownloading the cloud save would work. Or maybe copying the save on an exterior device?
Posted by Fooga on 06 Jan 19 at 18:48
BeMagicManHey Guys i have question and perhaps someone can help me.
I recently deleted my savings on far cry 5 with only the new game + achievement left (dont ask why). As I dont have the campaign finished I cant start new game + but my friend plays it and I will join him up for the rest of the story. Am I able to get the achievement although I technically shouldnt be able to play the mode?
Thanks for any help and info on this.
Posted by BeMagicMan on 08 Jan 19 at 22:54
FoogaYou could try but someone wrote earlier that when he got it the achievement as a guest, he did the first little tutorial island in NG+ before joining his friend. I’m not sure if that’ll work for you if you do tutorial island on a regular game.

It’s not confirmed so it’s up to you to take that risk.
Posted by Fooga on 09 Jan 19 at 18:56
Priit3I can confirm sharing still works. I invited friend, who had started NG+ and libereted Dutch island, for last checkpoint (when u start driving car with a timer) and he got the achievement aswell.
Posted by Priit3 on 09 Jan 19 at 19:59
BeMagicManI just ended the game with my friend (without starting on new game + before, just regular mode) and I can confirm that you dont get the achievement.
Posted by BeMagicMan on 14 Jan 19 at 22:32
Serious X DevilDam my fiance has been doing NG+ with me and she won't get the achievement... laugh thats hilarious.

Although she did get random achievements for liberating outposts and stuff.

Thanks for Confirming BeMagicMan.
Posted by Serious X Devil on 15 Jan 19 at 00:59
FoogaBut someone just above him confirmed you can get it. If Magic’s friend didn’t liberate the first small island in their own game, that’s probably why.
Posted by Fooga on 15 Jan 19 at 01:43
BeMagicManYou are completely wrong Fooga. First of all it was me who didnt get the achievement. Problem is that I needed to delete my saves to get a different achievement cause it was buggy. The game basically saw me as a new player who didnt even do the campaign once on normal mode which is why I couldnt even start new game+ by myself. I played the beginning and captured the first island. Then we continued the game my friend had started on his account and after we played the end he got it and I didnt.
Posted by BeMagicMan on 02 Feb 19 at 22:48
FoogaAlright well that’s people giving me conflicting info. It doesn’t really pertain to my guide, anyway.

Just do it yourself it’s really not hard at all.
Posted by Fooga on 02 Feb 19 at 23:13
x meltiger xI unocked this tonight - Joining off someone elses checkpoint

To confirm what we did -

First try. No achievement, I had not start a NG+
Second try, Achievement, I had played NG+ Infamous up to having liberated Dutch's island / Mission was reach Falls End.

So as at 10 Feb 2018 it is very much NOT patched out, but I believe you do need to have started a NG+ Infamous and I would recommend doing the first island to be safe.
Posted by x meltiger x on 09 Feb 19 at 13:49
Sera Di Siah^ 100% this and please make sure to NOT force quit the game, ONLY delete local save twice if you want to help others... I lost my save by not knowing, don't waste 10 - 15 hours because of misinformation (on other sites). Ace solution, +1 <3
Posted by Sera Di Siah on 09 Feb 19 at 16:04
Priit3yea its still working, i have shared last checkpoint multiple times by now
Posted by Priit3 on 23 Mar 19 at 23:19
Rascalov USAJust beat the game on Infamous. The solution was mostly adequate, but there are a few things that weren't mentioned in it that would have been useful. Some missions are challenging even with the DlC weapons. In Faith's Bunker mission, there are no medkits so I had to rely on Ultimate Survivor potions to survive. The John mission where you have to destroy the beacons was also tough. This saved me a bunch on Infamous. I also didn't find Peaches very useful. I prefer to use Cheeseburger or Nick the pilot in that slot.

FoogaThe only mission I remember trying was the John mission you mentioned but by “trying” I went along the outskirts and sniped them all with the rifle I mentioned I brought for special situations. Besides that I’d say your input is more opinion than my guide being inadequate. wink

ChunkybrickThanks for this info, I personally used this method to breeze the rest of the game. Speaking of, you must choose resist at the end of the game.

digitaldaigorAnother detail, just the host is unlocking this if you are playing coop.

Just get this achievement, but my co-op friend not.

Reborn InsanityFor the DLC weapons, do you have to play the DLC to unlock them or do you just have to download the DLC and the weapons show up in the store?

I bought this gold edition of this game when it released and I'm just now getting to cleaning it up. The only campaign achievements I need is killing the father and doing a NG+. I was going to do the DLC after that.

FoogaI can't say for sure because this was the last achievement that came out and I was up to date with the achievements when they dropped. IIRC, the achievements in the DLC's are tied to doing certain in-game challenges, so they'll give you the weapons.

I didn't do anything extra outside the achievements so if you don't see the weapons available right away, just do all of the DLC first and you should unlock them.

Reborn InsanityGot my answer. All I did was download the DLC and resumed my campaign save and all the weapons were unlocked in the store. Didn't have to play the DLC at all.

FoogaAh that’s good to know! Enjoy the guns. I found them fun to use.

Serious X DevilI really enjoyed doing this achievement with the DLC Alien weapons... people need to just go out and do it!, it honestly doesn't take that long!

xXGamerXPro75XxIf you got a buddy right at the end of the game, like last 2 missions or so, you can hop in their game, kill Joseph and whichever other person is alive, and after the credits this achievement can still pop, did for me and I didn't kill any of them in my playthrough

Omniscient AlThey should never have included Jacob's training house episode. It is hard, boring and I did quite enough of this nonsense in John's training house. I liked the game before this part.
Also the repeated strafing by the plane gets old really quickly.

PrsboysI'm nearing the end of the playthrough to get this achievement and I have to say it's not as bad as I thought it'd be.
Besides the few cases of enemies being able to two shot you the only real part I had trouble with was the Cull the herd missions since you have to be fast.
Posted by Prsboys on 05 May at 06:01
FoogaYeah it's not bad. That was really the only section I had to sit up for. Everything else was a breeze.
