Played through the entire fedex cup and didn't get an ace. So here's what I did...

1. New local match.
2. Course - Quincy Downs
3. Settings>Rules changed
a. Tees = leave the slider for Gold tees on, turn off the other 2.
b. Pin placement = 2 (fairly flat spot on this green, 1 is a terrible location, didn't check 3 or 4.) Turn off the sliders for 1, 3, & 4. Leave #2 on.
c. Round length = back 9. hole #10 is a par 3.
4. Settings>Conditions changed
a. Wind Speed = set to none
b. Green Firmness = very soft
c. Green speed = very slow

Start the round. It starts on the 10th which is a par 3, so if you miss, just repeat (unfortunately you have to do all the settings again). Took me 3 tries to sink it. I set my distance to 99% and aimed just slightly right (about a cup length to the right or so) as there's a small break in the green to the left. Hit it straight and it rolls in.
hostile carrotWorked second try. I barely aimed right (like the slightest tap possible). Accidentally hit it 101% and it went right in

ChozoCraigGREAT solution! Thank you so much! Took me about 6 tries. I kept hitting 100% power and landing juuuust shy of the hole. I hit 101% and got it on that try. You seem to need just a little extra oomph.

St Jolly777Great solution! Got it on my third try at 100% and a very slight tap to right before the swing.

GuyPandemoniumPut it on beginner difficulty, starter clubs, zoomed all the way in with one light tap right, and.....ITS IN THE HOLE! Great guide!

its whatevaThanks so much for this. Just used this to get the trophy on the PS4! Will use the same approach to get the achievement when I get this game on the One.

Venomous AlbinoI tried again and again with the above settings with no luck (kept coming up one or two feet short). Changed the green speed from very slow to slow and sunk it first try

Ginuwine AI3Third try, just put green settings both moderate. Thanks!

AGKR3WIv sunk this twice now an didn't pop, am I doing something wrong? I'm in play now local, do I have to be somewhere else

TempleOfFiveLocal match play should do it no problem. Sorry but i'm not sure why it's not popping, first i've heard of it.

Snooch2theBoochAGKR3W, did you play on the official course or did you play on Quincy Downs C.C.? Because I made that mistake, sunk a hole in one twice and was so confused why it didn’t pop until I realized Quincy Downs C.C. is NOT an official course. The official course is Quincy Downs Country Club. Switched to that, it took a few tries to get used to the official hole, but then the achievement popped for me.

EDIT: Also, I used very soft for green firmness and fast for speed. Just in case anyone was struggling like I was because the ball kept rolling just short of the hole lol

planchetflawI didn't realise initially you could change settings within the set difficulty titles. Turning wind off made some par 3s just a stick flick and no aim change. Good for knocking a few of the single shot achievements out. But would make the game quite boring for Career.

I did get a hole in one last night when playing both my account and the 3 guests on the same controller. Unfortunately that one didn't count to my tag even with those guests signed in on my account. But I wasn't expecting it to, anyway.

I got this one today in a Private Match on TPC Scottsdale 7th hole red tee, first pin.
