These videos are brought to you by Next Gen Walkthrough:

Ultimatum (2 videos)

In this level you have to first save Griggs from the enemy and then progress through the base to gain access to the missile silo.

This level incorporates a little bit of stealth when trying to rescue Griggs. Find a route through the enemies so that you only have to use your knife.

The video also has some good advice on how to defeat the 2 trucks at the end of the level. Throw all of your C4 at the trucks and get some to stick on the engines then get to a safe distance and blow them sky high. You can take out all the enemy in one detonation.

All In (2 videos)

In this level you have to storm the missile silo to gain access to the base underneath.

You can defeat the first tank by following the fence left outside and around the base. There is a pickup truck next to a gate. Plant C4 on the gate and blow a hole in it. Pop a smoke grenade and wait for the tank to stop near the hole toss or plant some C4 to destroy the tank.

The next area has two tanks but there is an easy way to acquire a Javelin Missile launcher. Check out the video for it's location or you can repeat the smoke and C4 method.

No Fighting in the War Room (4 videos)

In this level you have to make your way through the underground base to get to the missile control room and input the abort codes.

Keep moving and killing. You start out with 9 minutes and if you can get to the next check point fast enough you will be able to grab the checkpoint. If you move slower than one minute per checkpoint the game will not save your progress. This is to ensure that you have enough time left to finish the objective/level.

Stick with the M4A1 and the G36C for extra ammo and remember to use your grenade launcher if you have one equipped.**

BlakZombiTokenjust a little something i've noticed - checkpoints dont always pop up - try playing offline - i didn't get a checkpoint for no fighting in the war room at the blast doors when i was online but when i was offline i did

Kung Fu RikiThe problem people have been having with checkpoints is because you only have 9 minutes to accomplish your objective. The way I see the checkpoints is that the game will only give you one if it thinks there is still enough time to finish the objective. If you advance faster than one minute intervals per checkpoint you should get them all the way through. I don't believe online or offline will make a difference.

Kung Fu RikiSpecial Thanks go out to fowlmowf for offering weapon suggestions. The 'No Fighting in the War Room' section is better because of your contribution.

fowlmowf

If you liked that part make sure to give fowlmowf props.

Kung Fu RikiI agree. Racing against the clock is not easy. Fitting that they put these levels at the end of the game.

SkekNo fighting in the war room took me a fair while to complete, until you know exactly where the enemy is gonna come from you're gonna have trouble.

Oh and I'm pretty sure checkpoints only occur if you still have enough time to complete the level.

Kung Fu RikiI can't take credit for the videos. They belong to Next Gen Walkthroughs. I can only take credit for the supplemental text that accompanies the videos. Visit their website if you'd like to thank them directly: http://nextgenwalkthroughs.com/

randy2084The NextGenWalkthroughs videos are great...I used some of them for MW2 as well. The only mission out of these three that really gave me a hard time...And that's an understatment as I literally almost destroyed my controller over it was "No Fighting in the War Room". I was stuck on the part before you get to the blast doors...Where the barricaded room is. I finally was able to make the checkpoint at the blast doors after four nights...Here are some tips I learned that will hopefully save hours of frustration for others:

* There are flashbangs and frag grenades on the floor to the right just before the cross corridor in the room with the barricade.

* It helps to fire a grenade from your M203 as you come around the corner to the room with the barricade. If you do this right, you can take out two enemy soldiers and sometimes spectacularly send them flying in front of you. Hopefully, right after this, another enemy will come out of the cross corridor to the left. Hug the left wall and take him out quick. Move to the right wall. Directly in front of you will be the aforementioned grenades. GRAB THEM! Try not to be taken out from direct fire from enemies on the other side of the barricade. Be on the lookout for enemies emerging from the cross corridor on the left and right. Hopefully, they won't pop out. Throw a frag grenade down the corridor to the left and follow that up with a fashbang -- trying to aim it towards the end of the hall (don't poke your head too far in the line of sight of either the left or right entrance though). Immediately throw another flashbang down the corridor to the right and run down it. Take out the (hopefully stunned) enemy at the end who was waiting to kill you and go prone. Kill the one or two guys who come throw the opening into the next hallway to your left. Advance prone and keep shooting down the hall. There are like 4-5 enemies in that hallway and the room at the end. Don't advance 'til you think you've cleared it. Then run to the round room at the end going prone before you enter it. Take out the guy who runs into this room from the left. Advance prone and clear the hallway to the left -- should be 3-4 enemies in that. Make sure you take out the enemy soldiers at the far end in another circular room before you run out to the hallway to join up with your team and run to the right to the blast door.

* Right before the blast door to the left is a dead end with a red strobe. There will be more flashbangs here -- GET THEM. Throw one right before the opening between the blast doors is wide enough for you to fit. You should hear an enemy shout something in Russian, that's your cue to thow and run. Run to the room on the right, making sure to take out the enemy in that room (if he's still alive). Or you can take the coward way (like me!) and go prone and throw another flash bang and take out the couple of guys in front of the blast door opening before running to the room. From inside the room, you can shoot down the hallway where you need to go next.

* Make sure you leave at least one flashbang to throw after you breach the wall to get to the control room. Throw it as soon as you breach the wall and go prone. You can shoot the enemies above you, but your team should actually do most of the work here. Wait to hear that the room has been cleared. The terminal you need to enter the codes is in the second row and to your right after you enter the breached wall.

TheAmazinKazinDoes anyone know if I I quit and do the mission again I will get the (beat the campaign on veteran) achievement. I've beat every other level except mile high club. So, will quitting restart the achievement or is it just beating all the single missions?
Posted by TheAmazinKazin on 18 Nov 12 at 18:31
Kung Fu RikiIf I understand your question, the beat the campaign on veteran achievement will unlock for you. Check your progress on each level by looking at the level select screen. It will show you what difficulty that you've finished the levels on. You don't have to complete them in order on Veteran.

Kung Fu RikiVideos are not my own so you might be right about the difficulty they are played on; however, all of the written stuff up top was information that I gathered while playing Veteran. It should be accurate.

ChilinOnAToiletThanks, your tips for No Fighting In The War Room helped a lot.

Shadow XBLstill can't do No Fighting. I get stuck in the long hallway at the bottom of the stairs. Seems like guys spawn out of nowhere. 1:56 on the first No Fighting video.
Posted by Shadow XBL on 08 Oct 13 at 21:01
Unreal GothiczI'm at the part where you go down the stairs, and I just can't do it from that point on.
Racing against the clock on Veteran is such bullshit.
Posted by Unreal Gothicz on 30 Aug 14 at 14:33
Shadow XBLI finally got past the part with the stairs, but now I'm stuck with the two tunnels. If I lay down like the video shows, then I get shot in the back from the other direction. It's impossible.
Posted by Shadow XBL on 30 Aug 14 at 19:03
Shadow XBLGoing to try Randy's tips on that spot.
