I’m not sure if this is 15 rounds at the start of the game, but coming from similar Black Ops 4 achievements, I did the first 15 to be safe.
I started with the proximity mine equipment, and a XM4, and didn’t really have much trouble until I got to the Megaton (he spawned on 15 for me). He isn’t too much trouble if you have a combat bow though.

I ran a couple attempts with a friend, and we died on 12 every time. The first game I ran solo I unlocked it at the end of 15.

If someone can verify that this is just 15 consecutive rounds, and not the first 15, I’ll update this solution!

EDIT : As Zenész has stated in the comments, this has to be 15 consecutive rounds.

As xCANExINSANEx93 has stated in the comments, it has to be the first 15 rounds, even though it doesn’t state it specifically.
ZenészI'm pretty sure this has to be consecutive. I've spent more than 15 rounds (non-consecutively) and it hasn't unlocked for me yet.

Divine Fear@Zenész, i assumed it had to be 15 consecutive rounds, I was just unsure if you could leave spawn and get geared up and then return to complete the requirements. I know it wasn’t that way in Black Ops 4, but i know this is a different game. Updated the solution, anyway. :)

beerthirstJust done this from the start, fwiw you don’t need to kill the Megaton if it spawns on round 15. Just run around in a big circle and concentrate on killing the normal zombies, once last zombie is done and it flips to 16 the cheevo will pop. The Megaton just carries into round 16.

Divine Fear@beerthirst, yeah I know you only need to kill the zombies, but I just put that in in case people wanted to kill him. Honestly I’ve found that when you kill the two he splits into, they drop good equipment and stuff for you.

xCANExINSANEx93Alright, I did it for science! Went back into Yard on round 14, never left and played til round 35 then exfil-ed. No achievement. So it would appear you do need to do the first 15 rounds (as suspected) just wanted to give it a test.

Divine Fear@keoskey, I’m assuming it’s player specific, meaning that you can stay if your teammates leave. I did it solo, so I can’t really say. Judging by how Black Ops 4’s similar achievements were though, as long as YOU don’t leave, you shouldn’t have a problem popping the achievement.

Or1g1nal S1nn3rJust a tip, if you're running solo, the craftable combat bow will kill the split bosses in two hits apiece. I used it on the elite when he came out and it seemed like it did initial damage but then it took the bow away from me so I had to rebuild it.

Oh Nelly BellyI just got this and actually died during round 15. It was too much heat with the juggernaut zombie, it still popped the moment I died though. Not sure if it was supposed to or not.

BL4DEI didn’t leave and didn’t open any doors or anything. Did it twice now and I’ve been trying to just do it online with others around but the randoms throw off the train

Divine FearThat’s weird, because I popped it with no issues, same as my friend today. I’d say maybe wait for a patch to see if that fixes it? You seem to be the only one out of the comments that can’t pop it so idk a remedy.

keoskeyDid this with a Stoner 63 and the Energy Mine first 10-12 rounds are easy save up all your scrap and after wave 12 start buying C4 from the crafting station and just train the zombies and hit the large groups with C4 just be careful on wave 15 if the Megaton gets a lucky he can down you in one shot if you stand still for to long

Divine Fear@ScottThompson92, if by local play you mean not offline, try it online (connect to the servers) and see if that fixes it. You can run a solo private lobby online and still get rewards.

BL4DEScott I also did the same thing yesterday on solo. I got to round 20 once and round 17 another time both in solo mode with no achievement

I tried a few times in MP mode but died at round 14. Must need to be online at least I'll try the private online lobby

EvilDeaniusOnly the player going for the achievement needs to stay in the yard until round 15. Other players are free to leave and use whatever equipment they can buy. Got this achievement with one friend and 2 random players this way.

Divine Fear@Drippy were you connected to the servers (Online)? You can run a solo game and see if it pops that way. You have to technically be playing online and hit switch the lobby over to “Die Maschine Solo” and it should pop.

MizzGnomerDid it with randoms and got downed (but didn't die) before level 15. Got the achievement at the end of round 15, when round 16 was announced. They left the area and I didn't. All I did was run a train round the outside.

nnpocFrom my experience, you don't have to kill the Megaton for the round to advance, a lot like Brutus from Mob of The Dead all the way back in Black Ops 2.

Divine Fear@nnpoc you don’t have to kill him but he drops ammo/armor and some scrap to help you survive. It’s easier if you kill him tho
