I've found a quicker way to do this, and there is a massive chance that you won't have to do anything at all.

Start a game on any map you'd like (I used Buckland). Set the number of players to 4 and the starting resources to 4000. Press the right bumper twice and make sure each computer player is set to Easy difficulty. Press the bumper again and you can choose teams. Press the bumper again to choose a hero (optional). Press the right bumper one final time and put each player on a team: pick what time you want to be (1, 2, 3, or 4) and put 2 of the computer players on that team, and place the 3rd computer on any other team. Start the game and play on.

Now, in my game, I didn't even get the chance to attack the enemy (of course, I spent my time trying to amass an army of giants). The 2 computers on your team should eventually begin attacking the enemy. I suggest you purchase a player power that will give allies a DMG bonus, and use it when they launch an attack on the enemy fortress. The nice thing is you will see your allies when they move on the map, so you can know when they are attacking.

This took me roughly 20 minutes, and is very effective. You can choose to attack as well, which could speed the process up. Good luck!
The Globalizer Goes even faster if you help out with your own soldiers.

mosin360 It goes much much faster if you set your AI teammates to brutal. You and your allies will just stream over units and quickly kill that poor easy ai.

Kanchanaburi less than 5 minutes when making your allies brutal. I didnt even have to build a unit. Thanks!
