Honestly I rented this game for the Achievies, but I couldn't even hold out 10 minutes into the first mission before taking out the disk and deleting the game history from my console.

The game is ugly and very slow, the frame-rate is terrible, and I was hoping the game would play closely to Call of Duty, but it doesn't! From the screen shots of it the game it may seem similar, but it isn't. You have some weird 5-star health bar that never seems to refuel, and there's no checkpoints from what little I played, but instead lets you save anywhere you want (bad), so if you save in a bad spot, your only other option is to start the mission over. Also, expect your weapons to be like they were back then...muzzle loaders that fire single shot, yay. *sarcasm*

I really don't know what else to say about this game... I couldn't even stomach the first 10 minutes of it, it really is that horrible. I strongly recommend you do not buy or rent this game, even for the achievements, because most of them are bugged anyway (so says xbox360achievements.org's Achievement Guide). Thank god I didn't get an achievement or else I'd have this game on my gamercard for life.
GoldnfoxxCan't say I hated the game quite as much as you did (maybe because for most of my life, vacations were to these fields of dead grass with some plaques and maybe a canon or two from which my dad was able to extract some sort of coherent meaning). But at the same time, I never felt compelled to finish the game, either. Definately sub-par, I'll agree, but I can't help but love the idea that the game exists from a conceptual standpoint. Just could've been a lot better.

fritz ownz youYa, if only Infinity Ward made it I'd have liked it. But man, I was gonna whore this game up until I realized how bad it was. :)

futilesWow, in a measly three game sessions, I have 885 points in the game. I find it to be completely on par with any Call of Duty game - Easy is a breeze requiring no effort and Hard is a spam fest of bullets that turn corner and enemy AI that sees only you through trees, high grass and walls.

Honestly, I find it to be an extremely well put together game. Then once you acknowledge it's not even attempting to be a AAA title, I'd buy it before most FPS games out there.

Also, as far as I can tell one, and ONLY ONE, achievement is the least bit wonky. Knife master requires you to do all 75 kills in a single play on a single map (no saving/reloading), and there is an excellent (worked first try) walk through on this site for it.

Also, the five health stars do refuel, as long as you stop getting hit, and the star has not gone completely black. So, each star can take about 3 or 4 hits before fading away completely, if at any time you hide while it has even a sliver of color left, it will refuel.

B8TINGUThank you Futiles...well put. I would like to add, that people who havn't played the game should not review the game. No I don't think 10 min. is playing the game at all, you can't possibly experince enough of the gameplay/mechanics to review a game that you have only played for 10 min. It's not personal, I'm not attacking you Sa66ath, I just think your review is bad because you didn't play it. Like Futiles pointed out your health does re-gen. If nothing else please don't try to review games you havn't played.
