To make this achievements go faster i went to the settings and made the game length on shortest, and picked 4 teams. Now when the game starts up it should put you half way up the board and there should ony be 2 glowing squares up ahead. I would quit and start a new game if both squares were not not on the first platform. Now when they both appear close this should shorten the attempts needed to land on 15 Mega Mania squares.
The Dauntless How long should this take to complete? This is the onyl achievement Im missing on this game but after trying the posted method(s) it took 20 minutes just to get 2 (even trying with 4 teams).

So I make that about 2-3 hours for 10G .... I must be doing something wrong.

Striker 805 Actually no, your not doing anything wrong my solution is still based on luck just like the achievement. The only thing that my solution is for is so it shortens the amount of attempts needed. For example its better to try to land on the squares close to you during the beginning rather than far away so u dont go through the whole board and have the chance to not even land on one. I Hope this helps, Good luck!

The Dauntless Well thanks for confirming. At least I know im doing it the fastest way possible - just a shame its going to take so long.

THANKS

The Mascal I don't understand what is so hard about this achievement... took me about 1.5 to 2 hours. Play with 4 players on Shortest. I got at least one mania in every game and most games I got two. Took me about ten games or less. Just use the 4 players to your advantage. If one player has gone past the mania square, lose on purpose and move on to another player. Simples.

MCASguru Thumbs up to Mr Mascal 77. For a cumulative achievement, Mr's advice is perfect. Also, you need to win 50 games for another achievement, so I'm looking at this as an opportunity! Thanks Striker 805 for the 'short' game 4 player recommendation too; it's the best way.

DjDooksy Once you have hit the squires can you back out or do you have to finish the game?
Posted by DjDooksy on 22 May 12 at 13:32
Beanpotter You can back out as soon as you have got them (or gone past them). Don't bother to finish the game as it's much quicker to play Family Fun for the 50 wins.

Logical Impulse Five ridiculously pointless hours later... i hated this achievement.

Jeremydj keep missing them! frustrating, hopefully there are not to many more i gotta land on.

Bill 13 Just to confirm (cause I just did it), you can attempt to hit the Mega Mania squares with all 4 players and if you hit with different ones they DO ALL count. I would attempt to hit the closest ones with everyone and then quit afterwards. I was tracking it as I went, unlocked exactly at 15 by my count. Took about 90 minutes to go from 0 to 15.

Zymotic I noticed rolling the dice is time based. So for instance you may roll the dice immediately after it tells you and get a three. Knowing that, next time you might hold for just a sec, then roll for a higher or even lower number. Also, there are two stop squares that are sort of an aqua color. If there's a mania block on one of those squares you'll get it no matter what by playing through. And I can cofirm that you can quit out once you answered the question correctly.

This took me about an hour to do using my pro tips.

OzzysShadyDisco Just be patient and you'll get it! I actually got the Mega Mania squares over 20 times before it popped. I though it glitched for me at first and was worried I would never get it, but it may not have saved properly a couple times.

Larvi I was getting frustrated because I always seemed to miss them too. So another tip is that right before the 2nd to last ledge is a stop square that you will always land on. When you start up the game check o see if the mega mania square falls on that, and if so play that game as you will get one guaranteed.

neeker75 There were a few times I didn't get the right dice roll, but still landed on the Mega Mania square because it happened to be on an "enforced" square (i.e., regardless of what you roll, you will land on it when you go past it). These counted for me as well. My last count for this was on an enforced square. Very happy to get this crap out of the way.
