Post-update solution. (There was a glitch that made some of the achievements in this game very easy, but the game was patched to remove this.)

The best way to earn this, Hands Free, Serious Skills, Double Time and Record Breaker is to use level 06 and replay it over and over until you have what you need.

Start a new game, spend your upgrades on whatever you want, apart from IonBall and Hit-Power. Work your way to level 06. Shoot the ball up the left or right then the "blower" thing will push the ball into the middle area. Just leave your paddle at the edge.

You shouldn't have to do anything just leave it and the ball will bounce around. Very rarely they escape, but you can just return them back up the side.

Now, the rest of this is luck. You will get about 2-4 upgrades, and you just need two of them to be multiballs. If you get down to one or two bricks, hit the back button and exit to the menu, then click continue. You will keep your score and be on the same level.

Do not pick up;

Red Ball powerup; this will wipe out everything too fast.
Red Bomb; because you loose a life.
Green Bomb; this will wipeout all the bricks.

---------------------------------------------------------------
If you need Double Time, the solution is the same, except, you need to get a double green ball upgrade, followed by the yellow ball upgrade, rather than two green double green balls in a row. (You can't get yellow than green)
---------------------------------------------------------------
For Record Breaker, I was earning about 50K per round, and when I got to 1 or 2 bricks left, exit to menu and continue. So at a maximum it will take you 20 rounds of quitting and continuing, but you will have some points from the earlier levels.

Any questions ask below :)
Reficuul What's the reasoning for hit power to not be upgraded??

JDA27 I don't think its as important as ION-BALL, but it does seem that if you take longer to destroy the block, you are more likely to get a power-up when you destroy it. I just tested this, and I slowly too down 8 blocks on about level 10 and got about 5 drops from this. I'm sure if I had the ball upgraded, this would not have happened.

Its more for record breaker I think that you don't want hit power.

Poison Pod I think there is a slight difference in the number of power-ups you get with the upgraded Hit Power, but not much.
However, one thing that is a positive about NOT upgrading it, is that if you are waiting for your second double-ball mutator to fall, the balls already in play are less likely to destroy the remaining blocks before you have chance to catch it, therefore giving you more time do deal with the situation before it goes potentially bad!

Hope you understood that, I'm not great when it comes to explaining things :P

keung At first I went in with 3 points in hit power and grinded for 2 hours getting 1-2, sometimes 3 mutators, rarely of which 1 was double ball. I then decided to restart without any points in hit power. First attempt I got 6 mutators and within 5 tries I got 3 balls in play. I also noticed there was a significant increase in points per round. Anyone going for these achievements on level 6: do not upgrade hit power!

kenshinesca Method works great for the triple threat achievement, and double time. Just a note I got about 500k on level 1 and accidentally hit all bricks on it then made it to level 6 and finished it off with this method, I upgraded paddle length and amount of damage paddle could take.

BeaveHuntr I've been doing level 6 for about 3 hours straight & have only gotten 2 multiballs total. I'm sure ill get it eventually but it's really frustrating getting every mutator except multiball. Only upgrade I've used is one grow platform. Still a good solution though, I just have crappy luck.

marklynx Took a long time for me, certainly over an hour and finally got it at over 1.3Mil score. Thanks for the guide but must admit, I nearly fell asleep getting this stinkin' achievement! lol Thumbs up.
