Goal Attacks

This is from my Midnight Club: Los Angeles walkthrough.

I have included marked maps for the best route to take in each Unordered and Landmark race. has kindly created some videos for the Landmark and Unordered races

Goal attacks are located by the following route:
> Press cn_start
> Press cn_RB
> Scroll down to the second option, Xbox Live
> Press cn_A

The races are split in to 4 sub-menus: Ordered Race, Circuit Race, Unordered Race and Landmark Race.

You can not complete all of the races if you not have beaten the story as you need to race on every track. Once you race Andrew for a second time, you will unlock the final track.

Each Goal Attack has four pieces of criteria:

> Win the race
> Finish the race with less than 25% damage
> Beat the time limit
> Achieve all goals in the same race

There are a total of 74 races.

Note: If you have the South Central DLC, you should also see races in the same list that are not listed below. They are not needed for this achievement but there is another achievement for completion of them. They are easily identified as the DLC by the 'SC' icon next to the name of the race. The icon also shows at the beginning of each race from the DLC.

The best vehicle to use is a fully tuned Ninja. Use the weight transfer to help when turning corners. It can be tricky to master this vehicle but once you do, this should be a breeze. With the Ordered and Circuit races, you should need no help. If you have beaten the game, they will be a stroll in the park 99%. You have more than enough time to do each of the Ordered and Circuit races.

Unordered Races

I have made maps for each one. I apologise for my basic paint work but there was not any videos for these at the original time of publication. I also do not have a capture card. However, DaChiefOfOwnage has created some videos and they will be shown below.

For the maps, I have kept the same legend as the game. The arrows will guide you around the track. Start at the GREEN arrow and follow the orange arrows around.
To keep the page shorter, I have put the map and video for each race in a spoiler tab so you can open the race you need. That makes scrolling a lot easier.

DAN5KI97Okay so this achievement has just glitched on me and will not unlock. I do the last landmark race that I have left and complete the goal attacks but then nothing happens, I go back to the Goal attack select screen and it says that I have came first and got the target time, but not the damage even though I have tried it again in different vehicles and even done it with no damage at all. Please try and help I have spent hours on this game and I want to finish it cry

LiquiDeltaJust wanted to correct a thing on what is so far a wonderful guide. The route described for 'Downtown to Sunset Music' is not possible to take, as a piece of road does not exist.) (Which took me embarrassingly many tries to realise laugh)

Take this route instead: http://imgur.com/2OEHjgV

LuckyKantHhm, I am pretty sure that is the route I took. I no longer have the game to check it out but do you mind if I add you comments to the solution and my walkthrough?

Just in case I made a mistake. If anyone else could confirm that but I am sure I took that route. Is there not a lane or something? I think I remember a road underneath the bridge.

LiquiDeltaYou're right, there is a road under the bridge! I just kept thinking there was a road I missed, as is looks that way on your map. Pretty risky to cross the highway on a ninja.

In any case, I would think my route is faster, as it lets you keep a higher speed. You're welcome to add it. :)

LuckyKantAs long as you made it ;) Risk makes it fun!

I will leave it as it is but I will make a note later those who may prefer your road.

DC AbaddonYour maps were such a great help. I've completed all unordered and landmark races with ease yesterday.
Thanks for this guide!

vzr326How can I "unlocking" the last two Landmark races (Hills)? I'm not seeing in the list in Goal Attack and Arcade Mode. Any tips?
Completed the game, have anything else done...

LuckyKant"For those who can't find the Hills Landmark Races. I found that looking for a Red Light Race in the Hills area unlocks all 3. It usually spawns on Ventura Boulevard or 101 freeway. You don't even need to win or race back, just need to finish the race."
