Once you complete enough of Trevors story you will gain the ability to purchase properties, and McKenzie Field Hangar was the property that I was outside when this happened so I suspect you will be in a similar position! If not, McKenzie Field Hangar will be marked on your map as a Property for purchase so just set a waypoint and head there.
You will need $150,000 to buy the field and once you have done so, there's a cutscene where you meet the Control Tower operator Carlos.
Carlos will now inform you that there is an ongoing arms trade 'war' going on, so you will be required to either use the dune buggy provided to carry out weapons drop collections (travel to a set location, sometimes racing against rival gunrunners and sometimes staying offroad to avoid the police) or using the plane provided to either drop weapons or bombs on customers (or rivals). Once you have completed 5 of each type of mission, the achievement will unlock.
Each time you complete a plane or dunebuggy mission, you may need to drive away from the area for a short while so the next job(s) can 'spawn' but it's possible to do 5 of each without having to do any side missions or main missions in between.
*EDIT* Capt Stanners has pointed out in the comments that, to save time, instead of driving away to get the jobs to respawn, you can simply QuickSave from your in-game phone, the reload the save and the jobs will have respawned. Not tried it myself, but once saved you won't have lost any progress so nothing to lose! :)
*EDIT pt.2* I mistakenly mentioned that the 5 flights and 5 dune-buggy missions count towards your 100% stat in the comments - as pointed out by a few, that's NOT the case, but Rockstar Social Club site will actually track how many of the 5 required that you've done.
Secondly, in order to keep this solution spoiler-free, I won't go into too much detail but Kawwaah Kawwaah has pointed out in the comments that the last mission of the single-player campaign may affect your ability to complete this achievement so best complete the requirements for this achievement BEFORE you begin the big (UD) final heist. Just sayin'. toast
Recreat3Thankyou! I did one of each of the missions but then none of them turned up, i thought the missions must have been spread out, turns out they arent

Spidey18Bear6Thanks for the guide. Alternatively instead of driving away, you can just save the game (it autosaves after every job anyway but if you want to make sure) and then load it back up and the next two jobs will be ready and waiting. +1

Oh Jay ArrCheers for the tip, and the +1! Credit given in the edit. toast

Spidey18Bear6No problem and cheers, hopefully it helps people save some time. You can even save right outside the airstrip and they'll respawn just fine. headspin

ClaytThaGreatDunebuggy missions - Easy.

Airplane missions - Pain in the arse.
Posted by ClaytThaGreat on 19 Sep 13 at 16:21
Oh Jay ArrFunnily enough, ClaytThaGreat - I found them to be the other way around! I had no trouble doing the plane missions but there's something about driving AND shooting that I really struggle with...! Maybe we should crew-up when Online is active in October! toast

NitrousSpeedDo u have to do the Airplane missions at the Hanger cause I hate flying?
Posted by NitrousSpeed on 20 Sep 13 at 01:43
Oh Jay ArrYup, sorry mate. Requires 5 of each for both this achievement and also counts towards the 100% Completion achievement too.
Posted by Oh Jay Arr on 20 Sep 13 at 01:53
NitrousSpeedOh Jay Arr - What happens after u do 5 from Airplane and 5 from Dune Buggy. Is there a way u check how much u did from both sides?
Posted by NitrousSpeed on 20 Sep 13 at 02:09
Nuka Cola CapSome advice for those having issues carpet bombing, make sure you fly at a fast speed for maximum bomb spread. Also make sure you are at about 850-900 feet above ground to avoid soldiers firing at you, and it gives time for the player to also use the Left Stick to Manipulate the bomb direction and spread.
Posted by Nuka Cola Cap on 20 Sep 13 at 10:19
Scud1888Ive been doing the exact opposite Nuka Cola Cap, flying in really low with no acceleration and dropping bombs on their heads almost, no need to aim the bomb and it hardly ever misses from that height.

bLaKgRaVy@Oh Jar Arr - These do NOT count towards the 100% achievement. If you look at the Social Club, under each section, there is a colored bar on the left side of the small pic. These are the ones that count towards 100%. These Air and Ground Trafficking missions do not have that colored bar, hence don't count.

Decoy1982Alternatively you can just alternate back and forth between Buggy and Plane missions. By the time you get back from the plane mission, the buggy mission will be available. Then - by the time you get back from the buggy mission, the next plane mission will be available.

MenininhuI did the first mission, but is not showing the plane anymore or the buggy can someone help me?
Posted by Menininhu on 25 Sep 13 at 13:54
Oh Jay Arr@Menininhu - try opening your in-game phone and choosing 'Quick Save'. Once you've saved the game and control the character again, press the Start button and scroll across to the Game tab, then Load Game and reload your most recent save point. The missions should now have respawned.

KennyannydennyOh Jay Arr: "Yes mate - will show you up to 5 of each (the 5 needed for the achievement) and they all count towards the 42 Hobbies and Pastimes you need for the 100% achievement. However, I don't know what happens if you try to do more deliveries - on my map, the icons are there but I haven't gone back to them. I would expect - although like I say I can't confirm - that you could continue to earn $5K or $7K per delivery, and driving/flight time will certainly help to boost your characters stats...?"

Yes, you can keep completing these missions to earn money.

Decoy1982: "Alternatively you can just alternate back and forth between Buggy and Plane missions. By the time you get back from the plane mission, the buggy mission will be available. Then - by the time you get back from the buggy mission, the next plane mission will be available."

That never worked for me. Evertime i completed one of them, the other did not respawn yet. And not even close, i've waited a long time and even then it didn't respawn.

Doc BuddhabLaKgRaVy is correct - these only count towards this achievement, they DO NOT have to be done for the 100%.

SpadesJrSo I've been playing for a while, I'm around 70% complete and I never got the cutscene or the missions. I've bought the hanger a long time ago and none of the missions show up, any suggestions?
Posted by SpadesJr on 06 Oct 13 at 21:55
Oh Jay ArrWhen you go to the airstrip, is there a plane in the hangar or a dune buggy outside? If so, just get in and the mission will begin automatically. Oh, and FYI - we are talking about Mackenzie Field Hangar and not Sandy Shores airfield which is on the other side of the lake, right?

madmax1698So how is this cheevo missable?
Posted by madmax1698 on 06 Oct 13 at 23:32
SpadesJr@Oh Jay Arr I just went through my available buildings to buy and I was looking at the wrong one, thanks for the help.
Posted by SpadesJr on 07 Oct 13 at 03:27
Jeremy SaundersMight be worth mentioning that this one seems a bit glitchy. For some reason the last flight mission was only giving me about 40 seconds to complete it (!) which is, frankly, impossible. I gave up and did the final buggy mission instead and the chievo popped. So maybe you only need to complete one or the other?
Posted by Jeremy Saunders on 08 Oct 13 at 01:41
BlueRatzI can confirm these are not needed for 100 percent. I'm at 100 and never did these.
Posted by BlueRatz on 09 Oct 13 at 20:34
Kawwaah Kawwaahthis achievement is missable I believe. Its best to complete all these before you complete the game because depending on the ending you get, you may or may not be able to carry on with this mission if you havent already completed it. As I have just found out to my own cost!
Posted by Kawwaah Kawwaah on 09 Oct 13 at 22:00
F Ameri 1997You can get them the achievement once you completed the game however make sure u keep Trevor alive or else you wont get it

Anno MundiThe tip about saving and reloading really saves time too. Thanks
Posted by Anno Mundi on 08 May 19 at 19:58
Darkness727420A little tip about quick saving and loading that save. When you return the plane to the hanger, get out and run out of the hanger. Turn around and blow up the plane. The first time I did the quick save trick, when I loaded back in, my previous plane was infused with a freshly spawned plane. What happened was the slightest bump would blow up both planes and myself 💣💥🤬🤬🤣🤣.
