The listed description of "Completed all 80 routines in the game" is what it says after you unlock it.

To unlock The Complete Package you need to "Collect every move for every routine in the game."

You collect a move buy getting a Flawless rating on it. Every song has 8 routines with a variety of moves to collect in each one. You only need to collect a certain move for that song once and it will stay collected across the different routines. However, you must collect a move at least once for all the songs that it appears even if you've collected that move on a previous song.

There are 80 routines in the game with 65-159 moves to collect per song for a total of 987 moves.

Edit: ChrisD0811 and others have confirmed that only playing all 80 routines WILL NOT unlock this achievement.

Edit 2: Kulaguy has shared some tips on how to collect moves you are having trouble with:

Tips:
1. Religiously say "Hey DJ, Practice That!" if you miss a move you needed to collect. The game will rewind to the last four moves in practice mode and let you repeatedly practice it until you say "Hey DJ, Got That!" This is a godsend if you are trying to collect one move in a song and it doesn't show up till way later and you don't wanna repeat the song when missing its one instance. It'll let you rewind the song a bit AND practice. Very helpful.
2. You CAN quit out of a song, and any Collected Moves up to that point stay as collected! For example, if the last move you needed is in the beginning of the song and you don't wanna wait till the song finishes, just Collect the move and then quit the song. The game still saves it as collected. This will save you a lot of time for those last bit of complicated moves that you just can't get quite right! However, the achievement will unlock AFTER the last song so don't quit out once you reach 987, finish out that song.

*NOTE: Some people have asked if DLC helps towards this achievement, IT DOES NOT. I have confirmed this myself. The achievement will only unlock after you have gold boomboxes for all 10 original songs in the game. Getting a gold boombox (collecting all moves for an entire song) on DLC will not work toward this achievement.
TheMaizeConsidering that people already have this achievement, but noone has the one for 900 moves, i believe what you write is wrong

Neurotoxin35There is someone who got the 900 moves achievement and they got it on Aug 27, before they got this achievement.
Posted by Neurotoxin35 on 03 Sep 14 at 06:43
ChrisD0811If you look, the person who got this achievement has only completed 100 routines exactly. Someone else can correct me here, but I believe it is HIGHLY impossible to collect EVERY move in EVERY routine in the ENTIRE game (80 routines), while only playing 100 total routines. This alone leads me to believe that the description here is correct instead of the one on the Xbox One itself.

Either that or the person that unlocked this achievement is an absolute Kinect God, or professional dancer in real life. Lol

Neurotoxin35I have found those stats to often be inaccurate. Some games it's said I've only played 20mins when I've played 12+hours and others it's said I've played 1,000 of hours when I've barely played.

Regardless though all I know is that they got the 900 moves achievement 27 Aug at 20:56 and then this achievement 27 Aug at 21:25, I've only played that game a few hours and done more than 50 routines and I'm sure more diehard players could have easily done all 80 by now, not to mention those who got the game a week early.

I certainly will adjust the solution as more info comes in but right now based on what the game itself says I think this is the best bet.

ChrisD0811I'm in the process of testing playing all 80 routines to see if that works. I'll update once I finish, and then you can definitively update the guide. =]

Neurotoxin35Great, Thanks!

TheMaizeWhen i wrote my comment, i swear, the 900 moves didnt show as unlocked for him, but this one did.....how that is possible, when he unlocked the other one first, i have no idea about though. Lol...
Posted by TheMaize on 03 Sep 14 at 09:01
ChrisD0811I can confirm with absolute certainty that playing through all routines will NOT unlock the achievement. This one is going to be rough. Lol
Posted by ChrisD0811 on 03 Sep 14 at 09:28
Neurotoxin35ok thanks ChrisD0811. Also did you play exactly 100 songs too or did the counter stop there?
Posted by Neurotoxin35 on 03 Sep 14 at 10:01
ChrisD0811I played well over 100.

RDW040"Completed all 80 routines in the game" is pretty accurate still, as to me completed is 100% completion of each routine so in a way It isn't that misleading :)

KulaguyHey guys, I've got some tips for ya to add to the solution. I'd add a solution myself, but I made one yesterday and deleted it since I found it to be incorrect, so I can't add a new solution. All I ask is to give me some credit for it. Here are some tips that'll save you a ton of time.

Tips:

NBA KirklandI'm not certain, but I believe TA uses the achievement description shown after an achievement is unlocked. Achievements can have 2 descriptions. One before unlocking and one after. Can anyone confirm?
Posted by NBA Kirkland on 03 Sep 14 at 20:49
Chad and JessieI can confirm this. Rich does currently have the site set to only show 'unlocked' description. The solution writer is correct as to what the 'locked' description states and the site is showing the text that appears after you unlock the achievement.

Neurotoxin35Thanks for confirming that Chad and Jesse

KulaguyI just got it and the achievement will unlock AFTER the song finishes, unlike the other Collect Move achievements which pop during the song, so I recommend to NOT quit out of a song after you have gotten the final move from all 80 routines. I can also confirm that the TA description is the Unlocked description. DLC does not count, nor will it interfere, towards this achievement, even if you've played some DLC songs. More tips I've learned in this grind.

3. If you're going through a song to pick up the last couple moves, don't bother dancing the Gold cards. You'll just tire yourself out. Just make sure to be ready when the White cards appear.
4. Sometimes the Kinect would not hear me say "Hey DJ Practice That" so it wouldn't go to practice mode. Once it heard me, it was too late and the move was gone. So keep a controller nearby to press Y, which also initiates practice mode. Many times I would try a move, fail it, immediately press Y to enter practice mode, press Y again to return to perform mode, and it would restart at the move I failed, giving me plenty of chances to try again.
5. Use "Hey DJ, Slow Down," or the X Button, and make sure you understand the move. Know exactly when and where you are moving your arms and legs. It seems to be more picky than the 360 Kinect. I cannot tell you how many times I failed the move "Curry Step" because I didn't notice that the right leg steps back next to the left leg since it was like the last thing shown in the breakdown, and I was focusing on the arms since I thought I was getting those wrong instead.
6. If you still can't ace a move, change your position in the play space. Maybe the angle the Kinect sees you is making it so it seems like you failed the move. Also try exaggerating your movements and see how it works. Wear fitting clothes since I believe anything baggy will make the Kinect miss those more technical movement.

Hope this helps everybody!

KulaguyOh, as a heads up, since sadly enough the game doesn't seem to be tracking time correctly, I estimate I've played the game for about 20 hours since I downloaded it from the store Monday night. A few of those were not spent working specifically toward this achievement, but I would guess 20 hours is a pretty good estimate if you're a decent dancer.

MLP ThomazAs the other achievements also work on dlc, did anyone test getting 100% on any 80 routines? thanks
Posted by MLP Thomaz on 08 Sep 14 at 03:53
Neurotoxin35I have confirmed that DLC does not help. Don't let the "80 routines" thing confuse you, it's for getting gold boomboxes on all original 10 songs that come with the game. Getting a gold boombox (collecting all the moves for an entire song) on DLC will not help toward this achievement.

MLP ThomazThanks for responding, I just read that you explained that in your previous comment, sorry laugh. Also thumbs up, very well written guide.

TonySkiWelp, I'm never getting this achievement. It requires playing Happy.
Posted by TonySki on 11 Sep 14 at 22:26
Neurotoxin35Not sure if it's the routine or the song you don't like but you can always mute you TV and play.
Posted by Neurotoxin35 on 11 Sep 14 at 22:28
KinectKid333Awwwww damn I swear I spent at least an hour and a half on Flamenco Snap on Counting Star's classic routine. That was my last move too! So happy!!!headspin

Ryn0 LGot it. Took a while on a few moves...("out the box" on titanium was rough for me). Seems no matter what I did I couldn't get it perfect. Just kelp trying over and over and you'll get it eventually. Good luck everyone.

WhyattThrashTo expand on @Kulaguy 's #5, check the nuances of a move if you're not nailing it. I kept failing "Rolling switch" in Chandelier until I noticed that at the very end of the move you make a small, quick backstep with one foot. And although there's a lot of movement in that move, that last tiny back step seemed to account for maybe 20% of the total move progress. So some moves register very tiny nuances as a big part of the completion percentage, and sometimes it's all about finding those nuances.

KinectKid333Dang whoever unlocked this, cost me like 30 TA in GTASC, which wouldn't be a big deal normally, but I only earned 300 TA in the 4 hours that I had at home before going on vacation this week. I really don't want to use my bonus...
