This is a guide on how to get all the "Win X multiplayer games" achievements and "Complete X missions or multiplayer games."

It is better to play the game first and do these last, but if you just want to get them out of the way, or are worried that the amount of fan boy complaints are going to make 343 Industries patch this, then, like myself, you can do this first before doing anything else.

Start up your game, and from the main menu, move your cn_right / cn_LSr, and then either press cn_A or move cn_down / cn_LSd. Then move your cn_right / cn_LSr, and then either press cn_A or move cn_down / cn_LSd. Then press cn_A + cn_A + cn_A + cn_A + cn_A through the options, and once again press cn_A to accept options. And finally, press cn_A one last time to start the game, causing a 5 second timer to go off. As soon as the announcer says, "Slayer," press cn_start and move cn_right /cn_LSr and press cn_A on the menu for End Game. Then move cn_left /cn_LSl, and press cn_A to choose Yes.

In game, it will say "You Won" under your ammo counter, and if you have the achievement app snapped like I do, it will go up a tiny bit, showing you that you gained progress.

Once at the score screen, just press cn_B, and then you will be at the screen that is ready to start again. Just press cn_A again to start, and repeat steps from there.

You can get about 1 game a minute done this way while watching videos, possibly faster once you get your hands used to it.

And no, this is not bannable. I have checked both the 343 and Microsoft ToS (which is why I allowed my Gamertag to be shown in the video).

Edit: Like Gazelle found out the following:

I noticed significantly loading time differences between Classic and Anniversary 2.

For example, loading Classic 2 on Midship is much faster than loading Lockdown on Anniversary 2.

Would save a lot of time over the course of 500.

MAJORPOOPY Nice guide...but a little overkill on the button listings.

I think anyone who's over the age of 5 could follow the direction to start a custom match, pause the game, end it, and repeat the process without exact button directions.

Exalted Entity I just wanted to be thorough :P Sometimes people complain that I do not have enough details in my solutions, so I am trying to improve :P

Like Gazelle Entity, just wanted to point out that I noticed significantly loading time differences between Classic and Anniversary 2.

For example, loading Classic 2 on Midship is much faster than loading Lockdown on Anniversary 2.

Would save a lot of time over the course of 500.

Exalted Entity Oh okay. Thanks for letting me know. I'll update the solution for now, and the video guide a little later.

o SodaCracker o I somehow got this achievement by simply downloading the 22 Dec update and browsing the lobby. I also got the 450 games and all the other preceding ones at the same time... Bug in my favor?

Exalted Entity I guess so :P Never heard of that happening before.

L J EDM I was getting between 50 to 100 matches to the counter for every mission I was completing. I was playing halo 2 on legendary with the scarab gun, after every mission I was quitting out then going back to the mission select screen to unlock the mission achievements.

TheSign88 I was in co-op on easy going for par times, my friend didn't receive them though. He was overly jealous. (I was hosting if others wanted to try)

UnsungGhost I'm also having these glitch on me in a really good way. I don't know why but I was at 15 yesterday and just getting one every time I completed a campaign mission. Today for some reason, every time I finish a mission it counts as 31 missions. I'm just playing missions on Halo: CE, easy, bandanna and pinata skulls. Nothing else is different.

Dread Reaver I'm having the glitch in a bad way - it's stuck at 98% no matter what I play: campaign, multiplayer, Spartan ops, nothing :-(

Rhhe82 I had these achievements glitch big time today - I had less than 250 missions completed, and today I didn’t even do any missions to the end, I just plugged a second controller and all these popped for me.

TheLankeyGuy I just had this and all the complete X amount of missions or multiplayer achievements pop at once and not even in the right order. All I did was start the game up on PC to get the Remember Reach achievement
