Seeing as there is no guide here, I'm referring back to my guide that I posted under the original Halo: CE Anniversary achievement with the same name.

Guide is as follows;

There are three area's in this level, the first two have missable Elites:
-The first section on the Covenant Cruiser (Elites are missable)
-The cooling liquid pools area on the ground (Elites are missable)

Everything after the Grav Lift is not missable. Follow a few steps below and you should be alright:

- Use the Bandana skull for infinite grenades and sniper rounds (you will get the sniper just before the grav lift, it will help kill spec-ops Elites quicker. Specifically the Sniper is on the last bend before the opening to the Grav Lift area. You would be extremely unlucky if you managed to miss this)
- If Elite's die before you get a chance to kill them, it counts as one of your kills.
- The two Elites at the start on the Covenant ship (on the opposite side of the large hole you fall through) count towards this achievement.
-Spec-Op Elites infinitely respawn in the Banshee hangar bay. They also hide. Cover all the floors and all rooms from top to bottom, then bottom to top and a third time on the way down to be sure. I have found 2 or 3 Spec-Op's in hiding when doing this. This will also stop the infinite respawn of the Spec-Op Elite's in the Banshee Hangar.

Unfortunately I no longer have a capture card so am unable to record this for everyone but as a rule of thumb, extensively cover the first section when you are on the Covenant Cruiser and also when you fall into the cooling liquid pools on the ground of the level. Every other Elite will be easy pickings apart from the first two areas.
o HICKMEAT oAlso, in addition to the above, make sure you check the back hallways behind the banshees on the ground floor in the end. There are usually one or two elites and a pack of grunts in there. Missed them the first time and when I got em the second time through it popped. Plus, don't go anywhere near the side where the drop ship is parked. The cannon underneath is active and will mess you up. Hope this helps if you think you got them all and it didn't pop.

ManuFlopsQuick question, does it pop right away or when you finish the level?
Posted by ManuFlops on 24 Nov 14 at 03:21
MelthrisOn the Xbox 360 it was when you finish the level from memory so I assume it would be the same on the Xbox One

ShadowI should let you know that if you use the bandana skull in MCC it will not give you achievements while it is activated
Posted by Shadow#80380 on 24 Nov 14 at 19:21
Jay InsomniakIt does NOT disable all achievements, only timing, score, and level completion. Everything else (such as this) is fair game.

CanadianWhizKidHow do you get the 2 elites across from the big hole in the beginning?
Posted by CanadianWhizKid on 30 Nov 14 at 02:03
ShadowShoot em

ShadowAnd apologies for my other comment, read the warning wrong
Posted by Shadow#80380 on 30 Nov 14 at 11:53
CanadianWhizKidI was just having difficulty finding a long range weapon to kill them with. And how do you get the Bandanna skull? I don't have it.
Posted by CanadianWhizKid on 03 Dec 14 at 00:29
MelthrisYou should have access to all skulls by default in the Master Chief Collection CanadianWhizKid?
Posted by Melthris on 03 Dec 14 at 01:09
HybridchldI don't have Bandana either, even after picking it up on Silent Cartographer
Posted by Hybridchld on 04 Dec 14 at 14:11
Jay InsomniakIt's locked because it was a pre-order skull.

D3LTAUnlocked right when getting in the banshee on coop using bandana. We killed a total of 41 elites.

NhytmareIs this an achievement you can get while doing the speed run glitch through the level or will you miss elites?
Posted by Nhytmare on 11 Dec 14 at 01:04
Melthris^ I'm not sure if that has a negative impact on this achievement sorry. If you plan on doing this to find out and post in here that would be appreciated!

Strategy OneDon't do this on legendary, there's a mother fuck ton of elites, then when killing all of them, no achievement. I wen't out of my way doing this for like 2 hours to not even get the achievement, so don't try any other achievements with this one.

Ryn0 Lso...do elites that die via grunt funeral not count?
Posted by Ryn0 L on 28 Jan 15 at 07:59
MelthrisI don't see why they wouldn't not count but when I did this originally, I didn't have any of the skulls on
Posted by Melthris on 28 Jan 15 at 23:55
Ryn0 Loh seems to be fine. I got the achievement, but the toast didn't pop. so I thought it didn't work at first. Phew.

ZleekI can confirm that if you use the shield bump glitch you can still get the achievement. Kill the two elites outside in the hangar where you normally dive into the goo pit. Flood will spawn behind you so kill them, once you get back to the shield they'll stop.

Do the glitch, kill all the 'afk' enemies. After the keyes is one of them cutscene, run to the door on the left and kill all the elites. Complete the level and kill all the enemies as normal from there, achievement popped for me soon as I triggered the ending cinematic

DPeezyHow do you deal with the infinite spawn of red and blue elites right before you get to Keyes body? I spent like half an hour on the lvl clearing every elite and didn't get the Cheevo.

W1LLYMANI'm not sure if its just coincidence but I did this on Heroic Solo and I killed 41 Elites as well just like D3LTA 360. It seems to me that the easiest elites to miss are the 2 before you fall into the green pit and two at the end that are in the hallways behind the Banshees.
Posted by W1LLYMAN on 09 May 15 at 02:25
Xx SITH xXk do u have to kill them ? and what happens if a flood kills one before u can get to them?
Posted by Xx SITH xX on 01 Jul 15 at 13:35
MelthrisYes you do have to kill them. You'd be extremely unfortunate if you weren't able to kill them before the Flood do

Burning KarmaI killed 38 Elites and got it. I followed the guide here: Solution for Tying Up Loose Ends in Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary
Posted by Burning Karma on 03 Jul 15 at 19:47
iAlecPMethris is wrong on that one, you do NOT have to kill them, they just have to die by either your hand or the floods.

I can confirm that on August 24th 2015 I got this on co-op with a guest (pointless I know but just testing it), with bandanna and boom skulls enabled. Follow the guidelines of this solution and check/double check everything and the achievement will pop as soon as the level finishes :)

Moozipan CheeseJust got this on Heroic, and I'll also back-up what's already been said / confirm the following.

>Bandanna skull (gives you infinite ammo and grenades) will not void the achievement.
>The Elites just need to die - it doesn't matter who kills them.

I had trouble killing the two Elites at the beginning of the level across the pit as you only start with a plasma pistol and assault rifle, and just ended up tossing a load of frag grenades. There are also two Elites near the end of the level in a corridor behind the hangar with the Banshees, so don't forget them. One set of reinforcements also arrive when you near the Banshees or wander around the hangar for a bit - I'm not sure exactly what triggers them, but they also have Elites with them.

As a whole the achievement isn't too hard but the Flood can get annoying, especially outside the ship. I recommend using a Shotgun and Sniper Rifle if using the Bandanna skull and try not to rush past anything as you'll just get overwhelmed.

Whats a ChundyAnyone know if you can kill the two at the start across the bay, then do keyes shield bump and kill the rest of the elites is that gonna unlock the achievement?
Posted by Whats a Chundy on 27 May 16 at 00:30
Yacobs1I can cofirm that you will get achievement without killing two elites across the bay. Just do shield bump , kill AFKs then clear hangar aria. As enemies stops spawning you may leave aria on banshee.
Posted by Yacobs1 on 06 Aug 16 at 07:46
ClubbinCuboneI can confirm that you can get the achievement without killing the elites across the bay as well and then doing the shield bump.

BeijingyOne thing that threw me off. There is a very brief cut scene when you're getting onto the grav lift. It shows an elite shooting at a flood for about half a second. This made me think I missed an elite, as it isn't 100% obvious whether it's a stock cut scene or actually incorporating what's on your screen at that moment. But I did get the achievement, solo Heroic with the bandana skull.
Posted by Beijingy on 03 Aug 17 at 03:25
counterstriker8This is really the hell. When you should move back and catch the banshee the elites coming out of the door on the second floor spawn infinitly. You have to move to the ground floor. New enemies will appear out of both doors on the ground floor. When you have killed everything on the ground floor you can return to the upper floors if you missed some enemies. Probably, you ran past the two elites on the second floor to run through the door and stop the infinite spwaning.

Games MasterCan confirm the 2 at the start across the hole DO NOT count

Punch WaspsJust got this, one thing I want to point out is how at the end of the level, after you find keys and are making your way to the hangar to escape, the spec op elites will infinitely spawn UNTIL you make your way to the lower level. Once you do that, be careful, as there is usually one extra wave that will spawn. If you make your way to the lowest level the normal way (through the tunnels), you'll want to do a circle around the floor, and when you return to the door you came out of, you should have 2 grunts and 2-3 more spec op elites spawn in the doors on that floor. That should be the last wave of enemies you have to deal with.

YonderGruntConfirmed don’t need to kill elites across gap. Did key bump as well. Worked like a charm
Posted by YonderGrunt on 11 Oct 20 at 02:55
Oslim540in a similar vein to YonderGrunt, I did the flood bump and did not ever exit the cruiser, played through mostly normally, only triggering the dialogue about getting to the control room to ensure all elites in the cruiser spawned, killed them all and the achievement popped for me.
Posted by Oslim540 on 25 Oct 20 at 20:52
PeddlerofAlcohoThe achievement popped for me in the menu after the level ended. I thought I didn't get it and was running around looking for more elites. Eventually, I just finished the level. I'm glad not to try again.

MarkavellliHighly recommend doing the shield bump glitch and clearing out the final room. Super easy that way and took 10 mins.
