I managed to snag the achievement by using some skulls and having the game on Heroic. I had the Battle Rifle and Plasma Pistol on me the entire mission.

Skulls:
Catch
Famine
Fog
Iron
Masterblaster
That's Just... Wrong
Thunderstorm

I basically started the level out as normal and stayed in the beginning area killing everything until the Hunters showed up. As soon as they showed up I left and ran the rooftops avoiding everything until I reached Hotel Zanzibar. By this time I had roughly around 26k. After killing the enemies that were in the hallway, I rushed outside and ran for the Ghost and boosted past all of the enemies until I got to the tunnel. I hit the first load zone and went back to snag the Warthog and I proceeded to run through the level as normal. I mostly used this speedrun by Halo2Vista Guy as a guideline for the warthog run:

Just a note. If you die with the iron skull on, but save & quit quickly enough, you can resume from the same checkpoint with your score intact.

everything worked great but let me just say that the hunters give you about 2000 points if you kill them. it took me an extra 20 seconds to kill them and i finished the mission in 11:04 with 37000 score.

I just did this with IWHBYD on and no cheev? That's garbage, it dosent affect game play. Just an FYI for everyone, all non scoring skulls WILL void the cheev.

Saving and quitting with the iron skull on does not reset the timer. After dying several times in the tunnels and quitting after each death, my timer was in the 20 minutes range.

Skulls with a x0 multiplier prevent you from earning score as anything times 0 equals 0.
