This is not so much a solution but to help clear up the confusion about this achievement. THIS DOES NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH SPARTAN OPS! All you have to do is go to this specific achievement listed under "Options and Career" then go to "Career" and finally "Achievements". You can go to any specific achievement you want and click the "A" button and it will setup the game accordingly for any achievement. When you do this for this achievement it sets the game up in either LASO playlist or campaign(can't remember for sure) but it DOES NOT have anything to do with Spartan Ops. For me it setup a LASO match on Pillar of Autumn, but obviously this can be done on any mission, it just sets up the easiest and first possible option for the achievement. My guess is the people that are claiming this unlocked for them in Spartan Ops when they were doing the "Legendary" glitch is that those people had already done a mission of LASO and the game needed to record that they had the new title update DLC, so it needed an achievement from that DLC to pop to recognize they had the credentials already toward the LASO achievement. Kind of like the other achievements for Title Update 2 that you have to have so many of a certain medal in multiplayer games. All your progress toward them achievements carries over from what you had already done prior to the new update, but in order for the achievement counters to register that you have progress, the achievement app needed to see that you have the new title update, so another achievement needed to pop to get to that progress. I hope this clears up the confusion
