The easiest way to get this achievement for NOT getting hit is on level 1-1 on Easy difficulty. I have spoken to many people on this and it seems there is a trick to this achievement instead of a bug. The achievement description states not getting hit, but the game gets confused when you break or pickup any object. After doing this at least 3 times with no luck, I tried something new.

Focus primarily on your shield for this one. Block and reflect all laser shots at you back at the enemy to get your kills. I do not suggest using your melee attacks at all unless there is only 1 mob on the screen. Take your time and learn where mobs spawn so you dont run too far forward and get caught with mobs on both sides of you. Move forward slowly, spawn the next set of mobs and once one shoots at you, use your shield to deflect it back and kill the enemy. Take a few steps backwards and try to always keep 8 feet between you and the enemy. As long as they are that far away, they will typically just take another step or 2 closer then fire again. Once they get closer then 8 feet from you, they will sometimes just keep walking up to melee range and attack that way. This makes timing the shots and avoiding damage much more difficult. The only thing you can actually loot and not break this achievement is the gems that drop off mobs you have killed. Do NOT break orange crates for the level points, do NOT break the blue boxes for ammo and especially do NOT break the green barrels for a medkit. This also means NEVER fire your weapon since bullets travel off screen, its too easy to hit an object and break open points, ammo or medkit without meaning to.

I personally finished the game on Easy and had every upgrade except Shield Level 3 before going back and attempting this which made is a whole lot easier. It only popped for me when I did NOT shoot anything, did NOT break anything and did NOT resupply ammo or loot a Medkit.

Zheros is an Extremely difficult game with broken chievos, glitched chievos and bad programming, which made this one of the most frustrating games I have played. I hope this info helps those of you who stuck it out to try to finish what they could.
C64 MatI'll give this a shot and let you know the outcome smile

TrueWickedoneGoodluck Mataeus.
Sounds like people are still having issues with these achievements popping after a successful run. Most people who say they did this and got no chievo have NOT completed the game yet, they are still on their first play through. I cant confirm you need to have finished the game first or not, but I never got the medkit one until after finishing the story and coming back through to replay. I attempted Untouchable going through first time, but never actually succeeded until I replayed levels after completion.

xDaddy Cakewhat about if you do this in co-op and your partner hits medkits and kills all enemies
Posted by xDaddy Cake on 23 Jan 16 at 20:43
TrueWickedoneNot sure on that, but seeing how easily the game gets confused I doubt it will work. Finish your easy play through and your very first attempt at this following my solution should net you your achievement. Seems like most people who go for this the first time through are not getting it to pop easily. I heard a patch was coming that will address all these issues, but have heard that on almost every game and it rarely happens. :o (

Deaf KageTook me about 5 hrs to get this bitchangry I did shoot them with my gun and reflect their bullets and did shoot the crates but didn't touch them and still get the achievement whew... I tried it on coop like first controller with rubber band to put shield up all the time while 2nd controller just beat them up and it didn't work. I guess solo is better to do it

TrueWickedoneI have heard that a patch just went through for this game and some of these achievements are now attainable. This one and "No Medkit" might be attainable now during the first playthrough. I need confirmation on this though. Will try tonight to see if I can get the chievos for completing game on easy and all collectibles simply by loading up my original playthrough and finishing final level again.

time2munch79Not a scratch is working properly now but untouchable didn't pop after completing 1-1 without being hit. I was using my shield to reflect every bullet and, if you don't time it right, the bullet will be blocked but won't reflect. I wonder if that's what caused untouchable not to unlock? I didn't lose any health but the blue bar decreases when you block instead of reflect.
Posted by time2munch79 on 28 Jan 16 at 02:29
TrueWickedoneYour shield and weapon are fueled by the blue bar. When blocking, your bar will slowly deplete. Once bar is empty, your shield will drop.

TrueWickedoneIt looks like the recent patch fixed most if not all of these achievements. I simply reloaded my easy play through, spent 3 minutes to kill final boss and my achievements for completing on easy, beating game as Mike and all collection stars popped. Hope everything else is working as it should.
Posted by TrueWickedone on 29 Jan 16 at 16:17
SangriazI was able to get the without medkit but not without getting hit without having beaten the game once after the patch. Maybe I got hit and didn't notice or something though.
Posted by Sangriaz on 30 Jan 16 at 03:01
time2munch79So maybe untouchable and not a scratch won't pop at the same time. I played through 1-1 without being hit and only not a scratch unlocked. I played through again without taking damage and untouchable unlocked like it should.

Johnny SinisterNot sure what I am doing wrong. I have completed the level about 10 times without getting hit. I have done runs using only my shield. I have done runs using a combination of gun, melee, and shield. I have picked up items and not picked up items. 'Not a scratch' as been sitting as "Done....Unlocking" for quite some time, not sure if there is a conflict there. Really starting to piss me off.
Posted by Johnny Sinister on 11 Feb 16 at 04:11
Johnny SinisterAlso, I am playing on Easy, post patch, with Mike. Not sure if any of this is relevant.
Posted by Johnny Sinister on 11 Feb 16 at 04:21
SangriazJohnny Sinister: I feel your pain... For me Not a Scratch unlocked fine, but this achievement has been sitting on Done Unlocking for 10 days now.

TrueWickedoneI have not had time to research or confirm what I was told, but wanted to post this in case it can help some of you. I was sent a message last night from "Omega Yiazmat" regarding some of these recent patches and new issues they have caused. They mentioned this problem you are having with the achievement unlocking, but not actually popping for you on your console. The makers of Zheros have asked people to contact them and give specific information to help them fix this issue. Sounds to me like they know it is happening, but not sure why or how to correct it yet. They have asked that people post to their Facebook page, or send direct e-mail to support@zherosgame.com
Be sure to include your Gamertag, Achievement, Date and Time you first unlocked the achievement that has not popped. Provide as much information as you can. Again I was just made aware of this last night and have not had time to research this, but anything that might help the individual or community on these achievements should be shared with those who need.

TrueWickedoneI am confused and sick of people asking me and not having an answer so I must ask....when some of you say your achievement is "Done....Unlocking", what do you mean? Where do you see this? When I play a game and go for an achievement, if I do what I should and it doesnt pop, I just assume something happened and I try again. I do it until the achievement unlocks. Do you see this message in the game hub through achievement list? Does a message pop up on screen like you unlocked the achievement, but it tells you something different? Maybe my achievements gave me the same message as some of you are seeing to start, but I just never noticed. Again, if I do an achievement and it does not pop, I just redo it. I have never had an issue with weird messages showing the achievement was attained without ever actually getting it. Please clarify so I understand the issues some of you are having please. For me I attempted this many times and succeeded 4 or 5 before the achievement popped. I did not actually get untouchable or medkit success until I had completed the game and went back through level select. Was told patches fixed the game, but obviously some people are still struggling.

Johnny SinisterGood news, I got the achievement to unlock. I think time2munch was on to something about the this and "not a scratch" not being able to unlock at the same time. I went the stage once again, but this time went out of my way to pick up a medkit (although I still had all my life) and the achievement unlocked this time when I finished the stage.
Posted by Johnny Sinister on 12 Feb 16 at 00:38
Johnny Sinister"Done......Unlocking" is an occurrence where you look at your achievements, and you see one that is completed, but on the locked side. The progress bar will be completely green, and there will be a notice on the specific achievement that states "Done......Unlocking", meaning that the achievement is done, and in the process of unlocking. But the time it takes to actually unlock seems to vary. Sometimes it is hours, days or in this case weeks. Hopefully it will correct itself though.
Posted by Johnny Sinister on 12 Feb 16 at 00:41
TrueWickedoneGratz on the achievement Johnny, and thanks for the clarification on the achievement message! If anyone else has completed this achievement and not got it to pop, maybe try breaking a green object and looting a medkit along the way. I will need confirmation that this is now how the achievement is popping for people. At the time I got my achievements, there was no patch or fixes being implemented and the only way it was popping was to not break anything. If this indeed is how it is working for people now, I would say their patch just broke other parts of the game, but didnt really solve much.

xV Chaos 92 Vxi still havent had this achievement pop its done but not unlocking its been like it for the past 3 weeks dunno what to do ! Extremely disappointed :(

SangriazxV Chaos 92 Vx: I'm in the same boat. Been stuck like that for the past 2 weeks. I tried all known solutions to force the sync but nothing seems to be working. :(

KanchanaburiI see you got this pre patch. Does anyone know if you can use the gun now that the patch is in place? How do you get every shot reflected. That seems crazy impossible, especially since they sometimes shoot one after the other.
Posted by Kanchanaburi on 15 Feb 16 at 22:56
TrueWickedoneBefore the patch anyway, the game wouldnt allow more then 1 mob to be shooting at once. Moving forward 1 step at a time until something spawns, then backing up so things have to all walk toward you is the way I did it. The only time I had to block a shot instead of deflect it was if I let mobs get to close and they walked up on me to melee. Deflect, back up a few steps, deflect, back up a few steps, deflect and then melee the last mob is how I proceeded. This level takes all of 7 minutes to complete, might as well try using the gun to clear a big group if that will help you. I am not sure how this works after their patches, but before them my solution was the only way to get the achievement. When you wake up in the middle of night in cold sweats reliving this level, then I would say you are ready. This achievement is as much about memorizing the level and where mobs spawn as it is timing your shield. When your timing is down and you know what to expect, this should become a lot easier for you.
Posted by TrueWickedone on 16 Feb 16 at 17:20
KanchanaburiAnother video has confirmed you can shoot and even hit crates. A bit tip that REALLY need to be in here is that the gun charges with time, making this much easier!
Posted by Kanchanaburi on 20 Feb 16 at 20:52
TrueWickedoneYes, the gun slowly recharges over time. As long as you are fine with 30 seconds of play and 5 minutes of waiting, this method should help with this achievement if that is the way you need to do it. At the time I wrote this solution, there were many bugs and tricks in this game that kept you from the achievements. This solution is for the people who are still having issues with it popping the way it should. If you are not one of the people suffering from a bugged chievo, then you already attained this one. Its really quite easy when it works.

I like the hint, so used a gun and some refletes, not got life, and not achievement unlocks: / does anyone know what to do?
Posted on 21 Mar 16 at 04:46
Maze MayhemI tried several times now...but the last time when it actually popped i used my gun but made sure to not Hit any crates. I also let my energy refill after shooting the last guys and finishing the level. Might be it helps someome

TrueWickedoneThanks for the update Mayhem, and Gratz on the chievo!

FullMoonBeaverI just tried this achievement and never got hit, but still didn't unlock the achievement. I blocked each shot fired but never reflected the shots. I played both characters as no one else is awake. Would this be an issue?
Posted by FullMoonBeaver on 24 Jul 16 at 01:56
TrueWickedoneI recommend timing your shield so you reflect the bullets instead of blocking them. Blocking rounds uses up your ammo (blue bar) and if it gets too low, you will take damage. It also sounds like you were playing co-op when you did this. This games achievements have mostly been fixed, but are still glitchy I heard in co-op mode. Load up your profile you want the achievement on, then load the game, load your save or start a new game and simply run through the first level on easy to get this achievement. Some people have also said that their achievement list showed this as "unlocked" for up to 2 weeks before the achievement actually popped. If you complete this on easy and it doesnt pop, then look at achievement list to be sure it hasnt given you credit. Wish I could be of more help, but the first patch that fixed a lot of these issues also made some things inconsistent. Goodluck, hope it pops for you.
Posted by TrueWickedone on 26 Jul 16 at 15:04
TrueWickedoneYea for me it only worked after beating the game the first time, but some were able to get it on their first run through the game. Since the initial patch on this game, a lot of the bugs have been fixed but at the time of my solution the gun caused more harm then good. Glad you got the chievo and even better to hear they fixed the issue with breaking objects.

jackelHRAJust unlocked this achievement! I did a few runs, one where I used the gun and it busted crates, one where I used gun on enemies no where near crates, and one where all I did was deflect bullets back. The last one is what got it to pop. Also, I did it on the level that everyone has recommended which is 1-1
Posted by jackelHRA on 07 Feb 17 at 00:44
TrueWickedoneNice, thanks for the update and gratz on the achievement jackelHRA!
Posted by TrueWickedone on 07 Feb 17 at 16:33
JORAXJust completed, no achievement. I did use the gun on a few large groups and probably hit crates. What crap.
Posted by JORAX on 20 Jul 17 at 08:18
TrueWickedoneYea some people say this has been fixed, but it still sounds buggy to me. Of those who say they got this using their gun, I think all of them had already completed the game. I know my strategy worked like a charm, but again I did not get my achievement until the game had been completed the first time. I am not sure if beating the story once is required for this to pop, but people are still having issues.

KiRRAYNEUpdate this!
Posted by KiRRAYNE on 20 Oct 17 at 14:14
TrueWickedoneSimplified version. Beat the game first, then attempt this solo. Do NOT get hit, pick up items or break any objects and pop, chievo! Blocking if you run out of power results in getting hit. The final slice of the HP bar is angled, so a single hit is very hard to tell cause it only removes a tiny half sliver. Follow these directions and the achievement is yours, congratz!
Posted by TrueWickedone on 20 Oct 17 at 14:37
TrueWickedoneUpdate this how? If you think you have a better solution, then feel free to post one. Although a few people have mentioned the patches have fixed these achievements, the majority of the people who play still have issues. This is the only reliable way to attain these achievements from what I have been told and read on forums. How do you think this solution could be better?

LMAO, you have 1 chievo in this game CRUM LEE. Rather then update my solution, learn to read. How can you attempt this after beating the game if you havent beaten the game?!?
Posted by TrueWickedone on 20 Oct 17 at 14:43
creeping monteNov. 2020 this is the solution that got me the cheevo. I made 3 passes guns blazing and no pop. once I took care to not break any containers I got it
