The first thing you need for this achievement is the Hearts Decal pattern. This will be one of the many rewards for completing a match. You can quickly collect items by starting an Exhibition match with no bots and set scoring limit to 1. Not all designs are available for every car. At this time, only Zippy and Scarab can get the Hearts decal.

Now that you have hearts equipped from the garage, start an Exhibition match with these settings.

-2v2
-All-Star Bot difficulty

Mutator settings should be default with this change:
-Score maximum 1

Using 2v2 you have a teammate on the same level as the opponents without making it too difficult to score. If the other team scores simply restart and try again. Just play smart and try to take advantage of shots near the goal. Be ready to play defensive even though your teammate does a good job of it. With some luck, your teammate may even make the goal for you which will still unlock the achievement. Good luck, and I hope this helps.

NOTE: If you meet the requirements and this doesn't unlock double check that you are connected to the Rocket League servers. If you're not, then try to get them back on by starting an online match then try again.

qwxxI'm doing this with the Scarab car with Hearts against 2 all star bots and it's not unlocking. I have the mutator set to score max = 1.

qwxxSo weird, the progress bar shows it being unlocked but it is still locked. :(

Stig AssassinThere's issues with achievements for some people in this game. If it shows done in the achievement app, but not unlocked you may just have to wait. I've also heard a hard reset can fix some of this. Just hold the power button on the console until it turns off then start it back up.

BEERME7Just got the hearts decal finally i only have 3 things that are not unlocked so don't get discouraged if you do not get it before your 200 items achievement as I had to do exhibition matches for 45 more min after I got 200 items 😡

qwxxYeah I suppose I'll just wait. I actually did the full out reset... shutdown, lights off, unplugged Xbox power for 30 seconds, plugged back in, launched achievements (not unlocked), tried for the achievement again as outlined above and won. No achievement. Other achievements are unlocking fine.

Stig AssassinThat's the annoying bug of the Xbox One achievement system. You've earned it, but it could unlock anywhere from a couple minutes late to over a week.

matthewiagYep Done! Unlocking... is a common bug with Xbox Achievement I also have one that is Done! Unlocking... but not this one :(

It don't help Xbox live keep going up and down the past few days it will unlock soon and you don't need to be online :)

NaberiosDoes anyone know if being able to play 1v0 in exhibition to unlock most of these achievements is something that might get patched out? For example, have they always been able to (and are still able to) do this in the other versions of the game?

Stig AssassinI don't have any of the other versions myself, but the walkthrough on TrueTrophies seems to suggest you can still do the 1v0 shortcut on PS4.

CTthrowerDon't think that would work for this particular achievement @Naberios . Because the slot to put no bots and All-Star bots is the same slot.... So you have to have at least 1 enemy bot

NaberiosI wasn't asking about doing 1v0 for this specific achievement. Since this guide lists the whole how to get the Hearts thingy with the use of 1v0 exhibition matches, I was asking if that particular method was likely (or not likely) to get patched. I'm trying to decide if I even want to get this title. I don't really have the schedule right now to burn through all the achievements where this method would make things easy, so I was hoping to find out whether it was a safe bet or not that I'd be able to use it if & when I am able to get Rocket League.

UNDEADSPYR0Even if the 1v0 did get patched it would still be easy, you just play Exhibition 1v1 on Rookie. This way you can still beat the AI to the centre ball, chip it over them and score with max 1 goal. Its essentially the same as 1v0 except you have a rubbish enemy trying to go for the ball as well.

Naberios@Marcyboi06 While that's true, I would think that if it was something they patched, they'd patch out the ability to allow exhibition games in general to let you work towards achievements. Or possibly anything below "X" level will no longer works. I don't really know, no one does. That's why I was curious if they'd done or mentioned anything about it with the other platforms.

Stig Assassin@ZEPO13: Xbox live was having issues yesterday and still is today. That could be the reason it didn't unlock. Wait until they get things under control and try again?

Another idea is maybe try going in the garage and switch cars and designs, then go back to the one with hearts. That may act like a reset. I really don't know. As long as it's set to All-Star with hearts equipped there's no reason it shouldn't unlock.

AL1I recommend 4v4. Better ratio of good teammates to good opponents. I just sat back on defense and my 3 bots scored first against the 4 opponents.

Stig AssassinThat would work, but you rely on your team a lot more that way. It's more fun to be in the fight. And it could potentially take a lot longer with them having four goalies.

R0GUE WidgetThis achievement won't pop for me either. I've done it a bunch of times. Scarab with hearts decal won with and without modifiers. Just won't pop, doesn't say done completed or anything.

I connected to servers did it again and pop. 1000g

ILLJWILL11Its been 3 weeks and my Heartbreaker Achievement has yet to pop... it still saying "Done...unlocking". Any other suggestions? Maybe uninstalling and reinstalling? I'm supposedly connected to the servers. I just don't know what to do to get my 1000g in this game.

Stig AssassinThe "Done...unlocking" issue is a Microsoft problem so the Rocket League server note won't do anything. Typically they unlock within a few weeks, but not always. Try to meet the requirements again and see if that works, although I'm sure you've done that. Definitely try uninstalling. That can't hurt anything.

Stig AssassinI think it's somewhere around 250-300, although it seems like more. Finding it is the hardest part since your rewards are completely random. Good luck!

Stig Assassin1) The hearts decal is part of the base game and can't be traded. You just need to play the number of games required to unlock it.

2) Trading isn't being removed, crates are. Some items won't be tradeable anymore, but nothing that should cause achievement issues.
