This achievement requires collecting all 107 rings, which includes all variations. Therefore you need all 70 basic rings AND all +1 and +2 versions (one ring has a +3 version, too).

This image shows inventory order for all rings. Any that appear more than once have multiple versions that can be found in subsequent playthroughs.

The basic versions of each ring can be found in the first playthrough. The +1 versions can be found in playthrough 2 (in unique locations). The +2 versions (and single +3 version) can be found in playthrough 3 (again, in unique locations). In subsequent playthroughs, all of the rings from previous playthroughs are available as well, so you can't miss out on anything that you didn't get by going to the next playthrough.

Most are found in static places throughout the world. Some are sold by vendors. Some are are only available as covenant rewards and can't be obtained otherwise.

Rings can be traded between players, so if you have a friend that has a ring that you're missing and they drop it for you, it will count towards the achievement.

WhiterValkyrieNo ring for a no death or no fire run like in DS 2 ? Thanks
Posted by WhiterValkyrie on 01 Apr 16 at 15:43
Shred Asics 13^ Curious as well. I'm assuming those rings do exist but are NOT required for this achievement (much like the Demons Souls trophy I think?)
Posted by Shred Asics 13 on 01 Apr 16 at 18:38
LibelluleGinoVery useful tips ! Thanks

AP 8T8Good work, I stopped playing the game recently. My problem being I downloaded the English language version (by switching region to UK and downloading the game after making initial purchase with JP account). That version of the game is not technically active yet so no online for the covenant items.
Posted by AP 8T8 on 02 Apr 16 at 17:17
vSullyDon't feel bad – I'm on the Japanese version and I get pretty much zero online activity myself. I've been invaded once or twice and I've invaded once or twice in 100 hours.
Posted by vSully on 02 Apr 16 at 17:43
AP 8T8Have you tried setting your console region to JP as you play? Maybe that would connect you to more Japanese players. Also another problem I will have is having to wait for people to level up enough to invade or summon me when the game is released globally.
Posted by AP 8T8 on 02 Apr 16 at 17:50
vSullyI believe I have the right region setting. Probably doesn't help that I'm almost slvl 200.
Posted by vSully on 02 Apr 16 at 17:54
WhiteandNerdy99The three "x" rings are Scholar's Ring, Bellowing Dragoncrest Ring, and Obscuring Ring. The rings you have marked as Bellowing Dragoncrest (+1 and +2) are actually the Young Dragon Rings. Thanks for the guide!
Posted by WhiteandNerdy99 on 04 Apr 16 at 20:08
vSullyIf there are three young Dragon rings, what's the ring that I have labeled as the single young Dragon ring?
Posted by vSully on 04 Apr 16 at 20:12
WhiteandNerdy99Sorry, I mis-typed, I meant Lingering Dragoncrest Ring are the three.
Posted by WhiteandNerdy99 on 04 Apr 16 at 20:50
vSullyThanks. I fixed the names. And I finally completed the pyromancy and miracle achievements so I can get back finishing up these solutions.
Posted by vSully on 04 Apr 16 at 21:12
AP 8T8Lingering Dragon Crest Ring+0 (first run version) is in Farron Keep swamp. To the left of the flame door when facing it. Drops from giant crab.
Posted by AP 8T8 on 06 Apr 16 at 16:35
vSullyIs that not what I have already?
Posted by vSully on 06 Apr 16 at 16:36
AP 8T8No, you have it down as Crucifixion Woods, there are 2 Giant Crabs there and they drop other items. Forgotten which ones but the Crab that drops LDC is in Farron Keep which is a different area. Closest spawn is the Keep Ruin bonfire.
Posted by AP 8T8 on 06 Apr 16 at 16:40
vSullyAh. My mistake. Fixed.
Posted by vSully on 06 Apr 16 at 16:47
ATCSSo if you can't get a certain ring in your first playthrough, you're pretty much screwed? I don't have access to Yuriel of Londor.
Posted by ATCS on 07 Apr 16 at 13:33
vSully"In subsequent playthroughs, all of the rings from previous playthroughs are available as well, so you can't miss out on anything that you didn't get by going to the next playthrough."
Posted by vSully on 07 Apr 16 at 13:45
JORAXDoes the one +3 ring require finding it in NG+++? That wasn't clear to me.
Posted by JORAX on 08 Apr 16 at 20:43
vSullyNo. It's in playthrough 3.
Posted by vSully on 08 Apr 16 at 20:53
Nikolai420You have the wrong location for the dragon scale ring. The only thing on that ledge when you drop off is an Estus shard. Anyone knowho where to find it?
Posted by Nikolai420 on 09 Apr 16 at 15:10
vSullyYou've taken the wrong lift. There is a second lift in that area that you have to ride up from the bottom (taking you back to the upper area that leads to the first lift- the one with a heavy shield knight right before it). That's why I called it the "shortcut" lift.
Posted by vSully on 09 Apr 16 at 15:19
Nikolai420Thanks for the help!
Posted by Nikolai420 on 09 Apr 16 at 22:20
Nikolai420For some reason the eastern ashes are not letting me buy the dark wood grain ring. Are you sure you don't have to give them to yuria instead of the hand maiden?
Posted by Nikolai420 on 09 Apr 16 at 23:39
vSullyThat piece of information was given to me from somebody on Reddit and may be incorrect. I haven't verified it myself. I'll see what I can find out.
Posted by vSully on 10 Apr 16 at 00:03
Nikolai420OK cool. Thank you.
Posted by Nikolai420 on 10 Apr 16 at 04:01
vSullyJust confirmed. Eastern Ashes made the dark wood grain ring available at the Handmaid.
Posted by vSully on 11 Apr 16 at 03:09
Nikolai420She sells the wood grain ring but not the dark wood grain ring.
Posted by Nikolai420 on 11 Apr 16 at 20:27
vSullyTranslation error, then. There is only one woodgrain ring.
Posted by vSully on 11 Apr 16 at 21:00
vSullyI did. There are two by the bonfire before the abyss watchers. Keep perimeter bonfire iirc.

Posted by vSully on 14 Apr 16 at 03:19
ANTI DEMON 777Not really. Just thought you guys were willing to help others. I can surely manage to get everything myself but saving some time and being able to help other players would be great. Good to know what to expect from people here.

vSullyStrange. I wonder if his inventory expands later? Is the onion set for sale? Worst case scenario, I believe he drops it if you kill him.
Posted by vSully on 15 Apr 16 at 23:23
ViperDonzThanks for the reply, yes I bought the Catarina set and saved Siegward from the well but no ring, maybe it will expand later, but yeah if not I'll kill him, he annoys me anyway lol

PurdsIs there a pre requisite to the handmaid selling the ring of life? I've almost played through the whole game and it's never been in her store.

BIG L RETURNSwait so can the life ring and life ring +1 be found in the first playthrough?

or does that mean the +2 and the +3 version are both found on the third playthrough?
it has to be one of the two....
Posted by BIG L RETURNS on 17 Apr 16 at 20:09
XpertNoodlesWell then... I've double checked... i have all rings, all 107 of em, still no Achievement...
What's missing? D:
Posted by XpertNoodles on 17 Apr 16 at 20:25
vSullyLife ring + 3 is in playthrough 3 along with the +2s.
Posted by vSully on 17 Apr 16 at 20:27
XpertNoodlesI know, vSully. I've now triple checked the list, i have all the rings that you've written, and from the picture... even Life ring +3... still no chievo, not even at 100% state, or Done...Unlocking! state
Posted by XpertNoodles on 17 Apr 16 at 20:30
vSullyI was responding to BIG L. I

have no idea what's caused your issue :(
Posted by vSully on 17 Apr 16 at 20:57
XpertNoodlesWoops, was a bit frustrated, so tought it was for me xD sorry.
Posted by XpertNoodles on 18 Apr 16 at 03:56
CyberneticHFXTry purchasing Rings from vendors, even though you already own them. It can resolve this issue hopefully. I had a similar problem once, concerning Dark Souls II.
Posted by CyberneticHFX on 18 Apr 16 at 19:12
vSullyMost everybody who has this game is having a problem with some achievements – random achievements for each person – not unlocking properly. That's why only two people have "completed" the game even though 20+ people have the dark soul. Master of Sorceries glitched for me. It shows 100%, locked in my game hub. We just have to wait for this to work itself out somehow.
Posted by vSully on 18 Apr 16 at 19:27
CyberneticHFXHah! I have not yet had such an issue myself on Dark Souls III yet. Only on Dark Souls II's Xbox One version - I bought another Spell from a vendor, which one I already have had, and the respective Xbox Achievement did finally unlock. If an Xbox Achievements' task's progress is at 100%, then there is nothing you must/can do within the corresponding software to make it work. This must be done from Xbox LIVE.
Posted by CyberneticHFX on 18 Apr 16 at 19:41
no garlicSame for me, just got my 107th ring and no achievement (xbox one English version).
Posted by no garlic on 20 Apr 16 at 16:50
NickwassupIs it possible to get the darkmoon ring from siri and talk to rosaria to be able to summon heysel for the gesture? I know you don't get the ring from siri until further in the game but since this is my last chance to summon heysel I wanted to figure it out.
Posted by Nickwassup on 20 Apr 16 at 17:55
vSullyYou get the silvercat ring from her. And no, you need to go beyond the abyss watchers in order to get to the point where you can get it from her, and the abyss watchers is the cut off for Heysel :/
Posted by vSully on 20 Apr 16 at 17:56
NickwassupOh yah silvercat ring lol. Oh well, I can just get the ring my 2nd playthrough. Once again thanks for the quick reply.
Posted by Nickwassup on 20 Apr 16 at 19:09
ViperDonzJust realised I have to kill Nameless King on NG+2!
Posted by ViperDonz on 21 Apr 16 at 18:36
smozak7For anyone stuck with all rings but no achevement, check to see if you found any rings your class may have started with. I started as a Pyromancer, with the Great Swamp Ring and finding another one from the crab in the Road of Sacrifices got me the achievement.
Posted by smozak7 on 21 Apr 16 at 21:13
firedrake090The Ring of Life +1 and +2 can be found on NG+
Posted by firedrake090 on 21 Apr 16 at 22:21
Nikolai420I can confirm what smozak says. ALL starting rings MUST be collected again. I learned that first hand...

GanluanSince all +1 rings can be found on NG++, it seems like the best strategy for this is to do everything you can on NG, blaze through NG+ ignoring all optional areas, then on NG++ grabbing any +1 rings that were in optional areas. This way you're not doing the optional areas on both NG+ and NG++... has anyone done that?
Posted by Ganluan on 22 Apr 16 at 19:32
vSullyI guess if you're in a big hurry to finish this game, then that would be the best way to do it. I don't see the hurry, though.
Posted by vSully on 22 Apr 16 at 19:41
TheMrAction123Just wanted to add something, life ring +2 can actually be found in ng+.
Posted by TheMrAction123 on 23 Apr 16 at 19:34
Phoenix FyraFor those that have all of the rings but no achievement, you need to get your starting class/gift rings again. For me, simply dropping them and picking them back up worked.

no garlicI just saw a guide on youtube posted by Taratang that solved my glitched achievement. I think it was the deep ring that was the culprit.
Not sure on the policy of posting links here, so just search for "DARK SOULS III - Glitched Master of Rings Workaround" on youtube by Taratang and I hope that helps you too!

hullubalooSo here is my situation : I have all the rings and no chiev. I tried to buy the Life Ring (because it was my burrial gift) still nothing. But before having them all I gave some to a friend to unlock his chiev ... I know it's a bit twisted but because FS prevented the possibility to give so else covenant items, is it possible that those rings won't work for me because it unlocked the chiev for so else ??
Posted by hullubaloo on 25 Apr 16 at 21:11
I Ebon Hawk IThe Flame Stoneplate Ring +2 is actually in Smouldering Lake, not Catacombs of Carthus.
Posted by I Ebon Hawk I on 26 Apr 16 at 05:37
vSullyWell, in fairness, the entire area is the Catacombs of Carthus. I'll be more specific, though.
Posted by vSully on 26 Apr 16 at 13:08
vSully@hullubaloo You've likely experienced a glitched achievement like many of us. It's totally random and there's nothing that can be done. For me, it was Master of Sorcery which shows 100% locked in the game hub. I was still able to get The Dark Soul so the game believes we have the glitched achievements. It's something on the Xbox side and all we can do is wait. It sucks.

hunterIVFor those who've already finished, how are y'all following this for NG+, etc.? Do you just check the list for any regions whenever you hit a new area?
Posted by hunterIV on 27 Apr 16 at 03:43
Purds@thefourthhunter I just played through the entire game each play through with minimal guide checking and would go back and clean up at the end. All of your ng+ and ng++ rings can be found at any point during their respective play through.
Posted by Purds on 27 Apr 16 at 06:55
Faustus PHD@no garlic. Thank you so much. Leaving the rings and picking them back up worked for me. Just remember to leave and not discard.
Posted by Faustus PHD on 29 Apr 16 at 18:10
iseedeadgamersCould anybody lend me the Covetous Gold Serpent +2 ring? I'm absolutely horrible at fighting the Nameless King. It is literally the only one I have not gotten. Also @vSully, thank you so much for your guides, between you and the wiki I have gotten almost everything.
Posted by iseedeadgamers on 01 May 16 at 15:48
MDArcadeSo far I've noticed the Chloranthy Ring +2 description isn't accurate. It is on a ledge, but it's nowhere near a bridge that you have to cross. It should say "Drop down to a ledge to the left of the first Crow Mage in Road of Sacrifices"
Posted by MDArcade on 06 May 16 at 05:22
vSullyYou're right. I completely misdescribed that one.
Posted by vSully on 06 May 16 at 11:30
OnexWingxAngelxJust in case anyone has this achievement glitch for them (like it did to me) I can confirm Taratang's youtube video solution works. Search 'DARK SOULS III - Glitched Master of Rings Workaround' on google/youtube.
Posted by OnexWingxAngelx on 12 May 16 at 17:42
oO Twanger Oo^ Just be careful and not drop too many like me. Lost about 60 rings including two covenant rings which I now can't get because I'm rank 2 angry

Fiction0713If a friend drops a ring for you to pick up, does it count?
Posted by Fiction0713 on 21 May 16 at 15:38
vSullyYes.
Posted by vSully on 21 May 16 at 16:34
Fiction0713Good to know. I'm in ng3 and after 300 hours of gameplay I still haven't been summoned in as a blue phantom, making the covenent rings tricky for me to obtain.
Posted by Fiction0713 on 21 May 16 at 17:23
BsmittelHmm going over the list I'm pretty sure i had the Saint's Ring at one point in time and now I'm not seeing it in my inventory anymore. I must of discarded or dropped. Does anyone know if hopefully I can get it again in a 2nd play through from the vendor. Irnia is a firemaiden in this first one and doesn't sell me anything but will "Level Up" and "Talk"
Posted by Bsmittel on 25 May 16 at 03:16
Sneaky G WizardDo you need all of the rings of sacrifice?
Posted by Sneaky G Wizard on 29 Jun 16 at 00:37
vSullyThat I listed? No. You only need one. I was just listing a few different places to get one.
Posted by vSully on 29 Jun 16 at 01:14
Sneaky G WizardThat's great, thanks for the quick reply

eXitus676Delete commentEdit commenteXitus676 I possess every goddamm covenant item except for blade of the darkmoon, I have neither luck being summond nor farming those ... completely ridiculous. anyway, if anyone is interested in trading between characters feel free to add me, I am only interested in getting the achievement and are ready to trade any weapon or item :) btw great solution for the achievement, unfortunately it is completely fucking ridiculous!
Posted by eXitus676 on 22 Dec 16 at 16:47
Rainleaf@eXitus676 Darkmoon Blade is Miracle and cannot be traded so everyone needs to farm the Knights for 30 Proof of a Concord Kept for that one.
Posted by Rainleaf on 03 Jan 17 at 08:04
Mr FiddlerDo we need to keep all of the rings in our inventory for this to actually unlock upon picking up the last one or can we put rings that we never use into the storage box?
Posted by Mr Fiddler on 29 Jan 17 at 17:58
vSullyStorage box is definitely fine.

I'm fairly certain that you don't even have have them all at once- that simply possessing them at any point satisfies the requirement. Not worth the risk of selling or dropping crap you'll never use though since you can just dump them into the storage box.

TrombonafideHere's a question:

Killed the Deep Accursed in Anor Londo, then I must've died because I don't have Aldrich's Ruby. Will the enemy drop that in NG+?
Posted by Trombonafide on 12 Apr 17 at 02:22
TrombonafideGood news. Yes. Anything that drops a ring will do so again in NG+.
Posted by Trombonafide on 14 Apr 17 at 21:58
vSullyI didn't see you ask initially, but I did mention that in the paragraph below the big image in the solution.
Posted by vSully on 15 Apr 17 at 02:58
AlgurCould anyone trade me a Young Dragon Ring temporarily. Last one I need. Got hosed by the achievement glitch.
Posted by Algur on 16 May 17 at 02:29
LoftyMagicNeed this one, miracles and pyro's. Happy to help with whatever you need to get the achievements as well, send me a message on xbl
Posted by LoftyMagic on 16 Aug 17 at 18:08
Sera Di SiahThanks a lot for this guide. Though it's odd how you need 30 Grass for the Wolf Ring and then in NG+ and NG++ you basically find the +1 and +2 version so much easier, and they're better.
Posted by Sera Di Siah on 24 Mar 18 at 14:39
Paulo B 1978great guide. thanks for your hard work

STOUTASSASSIN67will a + version of a ring count for the achievement if i don't have the non + version.
Posted by STOUTASSASSIN67 on 11 Mar 19 at 03:45
SoulyTheDudeNote that you can get Darkmoon ring and Wolf ring from players who already have it.
Posted by SoulyTheDude on 12 Feb 20 at 15:55
Capt Apollo@STOUTASSASSIN67

No, you need them ALL. Some standard rings are actually trickier to get than their + variants.

**Sorry necro**

PolacoForeverCan anyone help me please? Need someone to drop the new game ++ rings
Posted by PolacoForever on 28 Apr 21 at 07:43
NimmyJeutronAlmost done getting all the rings, but if anyone can spare me the grind of getting the covenant rings that would be great! (If you have the ones Im missing too that would helpful. They are just some NG++ rings)
Posted by NimmyJeutron on 08 Aug 21 at 20:30
NeptritCan someone give me all the rings so I can have the achievement I will give the rings back need only that achievement
Posted by Neptrit on 22 Dec 21 at 23:27
Jay TalentsHi would anybody be cool with dropping the rings for me? I'd greatly appreciate it and I won't keep them just want the achievement.
Posted by Jay Talents on 12 Apr at 22:17
TiBzIf you started as a Sorcerer you will need to drop and pick up the young dragon ring that you start with for the achievement to pop.
Posted by TiBz on 13 Apr at 00:11
Spay001I need those. I can trade them with DS1 remastered Weapons or loads of stuff on DS2 SotfS.
Posted by Spay001 on 26 May at 12:09
