Titanfall (Xbox 360)

Hello and welcome to the Titanfall walkthrough. This walkthrough has been substantially updated and revised by Eurydace, and was originally written by TheHighProphets.

In this walkthrough you will be told how to get all of the achievements in Titanfall in the most efficient and timely manner possible. First off, I would like to say that Titanfall is by far not a easy game to complete. It is completely multiplayer and there is no single player aspect to the game! If you are planning on playing this game legitimately it will take you nearly 100 hours, due the achievements such as Gen 10 and the achievements for winning each game mode 50 times.

First we will tackle the campaign achievements and will be going for Like A Vacation, Militia Pilot, Militia Elite Pilot, IMC Pilot, IMC Elite Pilot and Frequent Flyer. Then we will move on to multiplayer and game mode achievements such as Flag Runner and others. While doing these, we will work on the miscellaneous achievements like Pull, Death From Above and Gen 10. There will also be a separate page which will highlight the challenges needed for the achievements All the Hardware and the generation specific challenges for Gen 10.

I'd also like to address the Title Update. Though it was added later, it is necessary to download and play online. I'm including it as part of the main walkthrough since it will be essentially impossible to not unlock at least some achievements in it if you want to make any meaningful progress in the main game.

TheHighProphets' notes:

  • Whilst on the main menu, before starting a game there is a challenges and personal stats page. You can use this to view your progress towards certain achievements such as All the Hardware, I've Seen It All, Gen 10 (you can view generation challenges) and Freerunner.
  • You cannot split screen so that rules out being able to boost with secondary controllers, unfortunately you will need a full lobby of real people.
  • Burn cards should always be used, they are very helpful to use and can be accessed via the main menu where it says Burn Cards.

Eurydace's notes:

There's a number of things I'd like to address from the outset. There was a Title Update released and it added achievements. Some are included in the Story Walkthrough, but a few others are best considered right from the beginning (and I worry they'd be lost in the fairly long list of miscellaneous achievements). Thus, I'm going to point out a few you want to be thinking about here.

First though, I'd like to give a point of advice: make sure when completing a challenge or daily challenge that you take note of what type of enemies you're asked to kill. If it says "enemies", this means you can kill any enemy, including basic enemy AI, to receive credit. This can be very important and it's easy to miss when you begin playing.

I've Seen It All

One achievement to keep in mind is this "I've Seen It All". You need to complete (get to the epilogue) every game mode on every map. You can track this by going to "Personal Stats" and then "Level Stats". There are no tips for getting the maps to pop up other than this one: For Pilot Hunter, CTF and LTS, if you manage to stay in the same lobby, you will play all the maps in order. This can be ruined by the other team leaving (the game will send your team to a new lobby). It does not work on Hardpoint and Attrition due to a team-balancing function they have. Overall, this trick is not something you can count on. The only real strategy is to just keep playing until you get them all.

Daily Challenges

Speaking of daily challenges, make sure you do them every day. There are a number of achievements related to dailies and the credit reward they give you. Making sure you do them as much as possible can save you a grind later on. When you complete 100 daily challenges, you'll unlock and achievement.

Stars

While playing, you will earn Stars. You earn them by doing very well in a gametype. For instance, you earn stars in CTF for capturing the flag. In Hardpoint it's getting a certain score. In Pilot Hunter it's all about how many kills you have. These stars are mostly meaningless, but for two achievements. One requires you to simply earn many stars. You can view the requirements for a given level and gametype (and your progress), in the Level Stats section of Personal Stats. Getting 50 will net you an achievement. If you're struggling, I suggest working on Frontier Defense with friends or Hardpoint (and doing nothing but attacking).

You'll also get an achievement the first time you get three stars on any map in any gametype.

Stars Shine Brightest

Stars Shine Brightest
1 guideOnline Game ModeVersus

There's also stars to be had for doing Frontier Defense. This is the co-op gametype. You need to get at least 2 stars on 15 different maps. This isn't as hard as it sounds. Some maps are easier than others, but even with random players it's generally possible to get 2 stars, if not 3 (which gives no benefit other than progress toward the above achievement).

Generally, you'll want to focus on playing well. Split up your team to different sections of the map. Titans are always the most dangerous foe and you need to be diligent in killing them or you might be overwhelmed. Mortars are especially a problem since they immediately begin attacking (two melee's will stop their attack). Stay back when killing Nuke Titans (they won't kill their friends, but they'll kill you). Another tip for Nuke Titans is to eject while in your own Titan (with Nuclear Eject) if a few Nukes are at your core (this will kill them without setting off their nuke, saving you a substantial amount of damage). Finally, watch out for the electric Titans. They will knock off any shields immediately of anything they are nearby. Keep your distance and kill them as a priority.

Ranked Play

Ranked play is a bit weird in this game. First, you need the ability to play ranked. You can do this by receiving an invite to the Ranked beta from any Generation 10 player.

Next, while playing you will earn battlemarks for playing well. Getting kills and completing objectives gets you points, while dying causes you to lose points. Doing very well will earn you a maximum of 5 battlemarks in a single match. These will come naturally with play (it's basically impossible not to get some unless you just can't get a kill in any game you play), so it's nothing really to worry about.

The Black Market and Credits

Finally, I want to talk about the Black Market. This is the place you spend your credits. There's a lot of neat stuff in here, and a lot of it you'll end up needing to buy.

Earning credits isn't easy at the beginning, but you should earn more than enough to buy everything you'll need to by the time you hit Gen 10. Beware: take care to not purchase forged documents. These allow you to complete a challenge without actually completing it and move on to the next generation. You need Gen 10 for an achievement so this seems like a good buy. However, 1) They are incredibly expensive and a waste of money and 2) They will make an achievement completely unattainable for your gamertag forever. So don't buy them. The achievement is:

Too Legit To Quit

Earn Gen 10 without using a Forged Certification on a regen challenge

Too Legit To Quit
2 guidesOnline Game ModeVersusMissableLevelTime ConsumingPartly Discontinued/Unobtainable

Credits are generally earned by playing the game. A good source of them is daily challenges. You'll also have your XP converted to credits if you are Level 50 (generation doesn't matter), though the conversion ratio isn't great. If you're starting fresh, as long as you stay on top of dailies you should be able to knock the main credit achievement out before you finish the rest of the game.

I'll also note that selling burn cards will get you credit toward the achievement (you sell them when looking at a burn card in your burn card page). This is worth doing at least 100 times for a lovely achievement.

So what do you spend credits on?

You might want to buy Burn Cards from the daily deals. These can help you with other achievements (either by being generally useful or making a weapon better). Oh, and there's an achievement for making purchases in the Black Market. These daily deals are the cheapest things to buy.

There's also Titan OS Voice Packs. Getting them all will net you an achievement. This is pricey and you should only buy them if you really want one or have nothing better to buy. Take note, though. They are required for the All the Hardware achievement, which I suggest you unlock during Gen 8. Make sure you plan to have them by the time Gen 8 is over.

Titan Insignias

You earn these either by buying them on the Black Market or completing challenges or requirements. There's tons of them (you can see them when customizing your Titan Loadout, for which you need to be Level 10). The only advice I can give is to browse through and see what you think would be simple and go for it. To be honest, there's simply no way you don't unlock this by the time you reach Gen 10 as long as you buy the ones available on the Black Market.

CAMPAIGN

When you first start playing Titanfall, you will be put into training. Here you will learn the basics of Titanfall: the controls, the wall running/parkour and of course how to use your Titan. There are 14 parts to the training and it does not take much time at all. When you get the last part of your training you will be put against endless waves of enemy Titans until you die and are forced to eject from you Titan. You will then unlock:

Note: When you are at the last part of training (part 14) you will have a chance to unlock ‘Vortex Volley’ (see below). Simply use your vortex shield to catch the bullets from an enemy’s vortex shield and launch them back at the enemy. This achievement will be detailed more below, if you miss this chance don’t worry you will have plenty more.

The first thing you'll probably want to do is play the Campaign. The players in it are generally lower skill level and this will allow you to get a grasp of the game.

Select Play campaign and you will see a short cut scene before you are put into a lobby. You will be put on either the IMC or the Militia team. I recommend quitting the game before it ends if you are going to lose (that is, only finish the match completely if you are going to win). You will retain all your experience but will not get credit for playing the mission. There are 9 total missions. Once you complete all nine you will unlock:

At this point you should have the above achievements and you should also have 18 campaign games played due to completing the campaign as both teams. You will have unlocked two new Titan chassis’, the Quick Play ability and the ability to select any campaign map to play. I recommend playing any maps you did not win. You can identify these maps in the mission select screen by the gold cup next to the faction icon on each mission screen. As you do this you can be working towards Frequent Flyer, which requires you to play 50 campaign games.

Note: Most gamers are reporting that if they select a specific level they need a win on, it nearly always places them on the IMC side. Therefore, when going for your Militia Elite Pilot achievement, it is best to search via the 'quick play' option on the campaign screen until you get put on the Militia side. Depending on what map you're on for the current game, you may need to back out and search again (if it puts you on map 5 and you need maps 3 and 4) because it rotates through the maps in order until it reaches the 9th one and 'finishes' the campaign. If you're put on an earlier map than the one you need, just stay in the lobby and keep playing as it cycles through the maps.

WIN-SPECIFIC ACHIEVEMENTS

The next set of achievements you will want to go for, and start working towards, are the win-specific achievements. You can easily boost these or go for them legitimately; I will cover both ways however I suggest boosting if you want to complete this quickly. The achievements are to win 50 games in each game mode and you can track this in the achievement app. To quickly work out how many wins you have, view the achievement in the achievement app and divide your percentage by 2.There are 5 game modes in Titanfall so you will need 250 wins in total. There is also an achievement called ‘I’ve Seen It All’ which requires you to play every map on every game mode once. You can work towards this whilst you complete the win specific achievements.

The Boosting Method

Boosting in Titanfall is a very simple thing to do. You will need to create 2 parties of 6 people and have the leader of each party change their database to Japan West. The 2 party leaders will then communicate in some way and search at the same time in order to get into a game with each other. The best method is called the backing out method: one team will back out straight away granting the other team a victory. The only drawback is connection issues may cause delays and setbacks in the sessions. This works well with every game mode but Last titan standing, where the fastest method is to have the losing team auto eject at the start of each round until the game is over and then swap teams.

The Legitimate Method

Attrition

In Attrition killing anything on the enemy team counts towards the score limit, which is 300. Having a good, well communicating team of people will get you very easy wins in this game mode. Make sure to target Pilots and Titans as Pilots give 4 points and Titans five 5 points so killing multiple will get you a big lead or help you catch up if your are losing.

Last Titan Standing

This game mode is extremely easy to win in if you have the right tactics and a good team. I got 5 wins in one go playing with 5 of my friends. Our strategy was to stay well in cover and in our side of the map. The other team would come rushing towards us and we would target them, using shields to protect ourselves and well-timed rockets to take out the enemies health and shields. Another tactic is to put on nuclear ejection and if you get doomed you rush towards an enemy titan and eject, taking out some of their health in the blast. Make sure to always be helping your team mates and never go round solo as this is dangerous and you could get attacked by multiple Titans and without backup and 99% of the time you will lose the fight.

2 guidesOnline Game ModeVersusCumulative +

Pilot Hunter

This game mode is basically attrition but only killing Pilots counts towards your score limit, which is 50. I have played and won 30+ matches of this game mode legitimately, so I can give good advice for it. The easiest way I found is to use a run and gun (SMG/Run n Gun) class along with an over powered Titan. With this you should just run round looking for Pilots on your map and attacking them. Burn cards such as ‘Map Hack’ and ‘Satellite Uplink’ will help with finding Pilots.

Hardpoint Domination

To win in Hardpoint you must capture and hold the A, B and C points so you can gain points towards the limit, which is 400. If you are playing solo I recommend you choose a point, capture it and then stick to it. When you get your Titan call it in and put it on auto pilot whilst you control the point. If the point has access for a Titan then you can hop in your Titan whilst controlling the point. If you are playing as a team you should put 2 people in each point and ‘triple cap’ the other team or if that doesn’t work then put 3 people in 2 points.

Captured Everything

Capture the Flag

The score limit on this game mode is 6. A game is split into 2 rounds, after the first round time is up or a team captures 3 flags the second round begins. The teams swap sides and have to capture the enemy’s flags 3 times again. I recommend playing in a team who can all communicate and know the basics to Titanfall. One person should sit near your flag and put satchel charges on it so when it is taken he can detonate them to kill the flag carrier. 2 or 3 people should go mid map in Titans to keep back the enemies. Then there should be around 2 people attempting to capture the flag. Fast ways to capture the flag are to put on a Stryder Titan, grab the flag get back in the Titan and dash back to your flag. Another way is too use zip lines if they are on the map you’re playing or use rare burn cards such as ghost squad and permanent stim to get the quickly cross the map.

MISCELLANEOUS ACHIEVEMTNS/MOP UP

At this point you should have 15-20 achievements left before you finish the game. Here I will cover the achievements I have left out and skill based achievements. Gen 10 and All the Hardware will not be featured on this page and will have separate pages dedicated to them.

Leveling

As you play through the game you will level up. There are two level specific achievements in the game one for reaching level 25 and one for reaching 50. To reach level 50 you will need to gain around 900,000 xp. The fastest way to level up by far is to complete challenges. Each challenge has 5 tiers.

Tier 1-500 xp

Tier 2-1000 xp

Tier 3-2500 xp

Tier 4-5000xp

Tier 5-10000xp

What you will want to do is get a weapon to Tier 5 and then move on to another weapon. My friend stacked up a bunch of weapon challenges on Tier 5 and completed the challenges in one game and got 70,000xp in that game. I have done this myself and I got 55,000xp in a game. I gain around 8,000xp per game without challenges which is not bad either. So in summary the fastest way to level is to get challenges to Tier 5 and get 10,000xp.

Once reaching level 50 you will be prompted to ‘regenerate’. DO NOT DO THIS! By regenerating your Pilot you will lose all your challenge progress which will reset you progress towards ‘All The Hardware’ (see page 5). First, you need to decide if you will be getting to Gen 10. If you will be, feel free to immediately regenerate. The Gen 10 page of this walkthrough will tell you when to focus on 'All The Hardware' (Gen 8). If you're not interested in Gen 10, or simply are not sure, then make sure you DO NOT regernate until you've unlocked 'All The Hardware'.

You don't need to take all the challenges for each weapon to tier 5 to unlock all of its attachments. Most only take a challenge level or two. You should be able to do all the pilot ones in one sitting if you put your mind to it, but the titan weapons may take a little longer.

You do not have to do this and can unlock ‘All The Hardware’ later on but as soon as you want to regenerate you will unlock:

Pull and Pull Harder

When an enemy Titan gets ‘doomed’ or goes ‘critical’ the Pilot can eject into the air. When this happens you can shoot the Pilot out of the air. The best way to this in my opinion is to use the Chaingun and take careful aim on the Pilot as he falls. Another way to this is to Rodeo a Titan and when the Pilot ejects you will also be ejected. Look for the Pilot and shoot him as you drop alongside him (or throw satchel charges). This achievement can be easily boosted in LTS.

For Pull Harder you need to get an ejection kill with the Plasma Railgun. Use the Instant Shot mod. Try to judge the speed of the Pilot and where to shoot perfectly, I found it easier to aim below the Pilot but some people find it easier to aim above the Pilot.

I Killed Them All

This achievement is very hard to obtain legitimately and the fastest way by far is to boost it. If you want to do it legit then there are a few ways to get it. Kill some enemies when they are near the evac point with your gun or grenades and Satchel Charges. Some enemies will be in Titans so you will need to take them out too. If any enemies actually get in the drop ship you will have to destroy it before it takes off and make sure you get the last shot and not an assist. If you get the rare occasion where every enemy gets in the drop ship then this is your perfect chance to destroy it.

Free Runner

This achievement is easy but a little time consuming. Play a game mode like CTF or Hardpoint as these game modes are slow and will give you more time to wall run. Find a nice place on the map and run up and down the walls until you die or the game ends. You can keep track of your progress by going to Personal Stats> Distance. You will need to run 5km to unlock the achievement.

If you're going for Gen 10, then don't bother dedicating running time to this as you will likely unlock it long before Gen 10. Probably around Gen 3 or 4 tops.

All The Cards

You unlock Burn Cards by doing certain challenges and activities within the game. For example you get a Burn card for winning and you get multiple Burn Cards for completing Tier 5 challenges. Some Burn cards are useful however others are not, depending on your play style. I recommend you get rid of all Burn cards that you do not need so you can make space for new ones. You can only hold 25 Burn Cards at a time so make sure to remove cards you don’t need or want. You’ll need 500 cards to get this achievement which should take you to about Gen 2 or 3.

Hold X for about 5 seconds and you will hack the Spectre however it will automatically hack all the others around you, but the achievement requires you to hack them manually so only the one you hacked yourself counts. Winning Streaks

There are two achievements tied to having a winning streak. You need a streak of 5 and 10. This could be boosted. I also found it incredibly easy to get a team of six people in a session and simply play Hardpoint. Assign 1 person to each capture point, and then have a team of 3 who go to different points as necessary. As long as everyone plays for the team instead of the highest personal score, it's nearly impossible to lose.

I did encounter some glitches where players in my session would disconnect at the end of the game and this would reset their win streak. It happened to me at 9, twice. You simply have to start over and get it done. Our group, which had never played together and was not particularly great, ended with a 23 game winning streak (and we didn't lose, we just ended it).

This achievement is for unlocking all pieces of gear, you must do this before going up a generation. Once you regen everything is reset other than Burn Cards and Chassis’. There are two options for when to complete it:

  1. Before moving to Gen 2. You'll want to take this strategy if you only want the 1000G and don't care for the 0GS Gen 10 achievement (and the 100% credit for the game).
  2. During Gen 8. This generation will require you to play a minimum of 100 and probably close to 200 games, so you'll have far more than enough time to complete everything required for this achievement.

For attachments and mods you will need kills on enemies and Pilots. You will have all the abilities by level 49. I would work through this from your worst weapon to your best weapon as that way you can finish on easy weapons. Always be on the look out for challenges popping up and always be swapping guns.

NOTE: This achievement unlocks during the game.

NOTE: If the last things you unlock are Stryder and Ogre Titan and no achievement, reload the game and play one match and it should pop at the end of the match!

NOTE: As of the 1.8 Title Update, the Titan OS Voice modules ARE required to unlock this achievement. Make sure you purchase them! If the Voice is the last thing you get for the achievement and it doesn't unlock, you'll want to play a game and complete another challenge (it doesn't matter what). This usually works to get it unlocked.

Titan weapons only have MOD's. Also if a gun has an extended magazine (kill X amount of enemies) go for unlocking that as fast as possible, this makes killing Titans much easier, and is almost needed with some guns. A good mode is last titan standing after unlocking the Stryder, you can get 1-2 a match on overzealous players and is what I used for the railgun. Also make sure to zoom the railgun to charge then shoot, mobility will be bad, but you do much more damage.

Requirements to Regen

Hit Level 50 and complete every challenge required for each generation.

Generation In-Game Tags:

Experience

There is an experience modifier you gain for each generation, making the leveling up process faster. This will help with getting your unlocks back faster and remedies some of the issue people have with Prestige and other mechanics. The modifier for each generation is:

Gen 2 = 110%
Gen 3 = 120%
Gen 4 = 130%
Gen 5 = 150%
Gen 6 = 180%
Gen 7 = 210%
Gen 8 = 250%
Gen 9 = 290%
Gen 10 = 350% (Not that this rank matters as you don't need to get level 50 in Gen 10)

Challenges Required

The challenges are the tough part. You need to do all of the following for each generation. Take note that not every challenge requires you to kill pilots.

You must do these challenges during each generation as challenges reset when you regen. You can't try to do all the challenges in gen 1 and then just level up. You'll need to earn the challenges while in the current generation.

To view current progress on the required challenges, open the challenges menu (available at level 4) and scroll down to the bottom where it says regen requirements. You need to max out all the challenges listed there.

When killing titans for challenges, dooming a titan is enough to receive credit in general. However, you don't actually get that credit until the titan is destroyed. If you doom the titan and then another player destroys it with his weapons while its critical, he'll get credit instead of you.

I'll note that Frontier Defense has quickly become a go-to for completing many challenges. Especially challenges that require you to kill Titans somehow. If you're struggling at all, I bet you can complete them in Frontier Defense easily.

In lieu of listing the challenge names for the weapons over and over, I'm just going to list how many kills you need to get.

Each generation will play out like this:

Generation 1 to 2

No challenges required for this gen. Reaching level 25 will unlock:

Remember, at this point you will have a choice. You can either work on All the Hardware (the achievement to unlock everything), or regen immediately and lose all your progress on it. If you plan on reaching Gen 10, it's best to regen immediately as you'll have more than enough time during Gen 8 to complete All the Hardware. Regenerating to Gen 2 unlocks:

My Generation

Become a second generation Pilot

My Generation
2 guidesOnline Game ModeVersusLevel

Generation 2 to 3

EVA-8 Shotgun (Pilot Weapon)
Kill 200 enemies
Kill 75 Pilots

40mm Cannon (Titan Weapon)
Kill 200 enemies
Kill 50 Titans

Generation 3 to 4

R-97 Compact SMG (Pilot Weapon)
Kill 200 enemies
Kill 75 Pilots

Plasma Railgun (Titan Weapon)
Kill 100 enemies
Kill 50 Titans
Strategy: Wait for a Titan to get extremely low, then hit them with a critical. This can be frustrating.

No Hitter (Challenge)
Kill 50 Pilots with Satchel Charge
Strategy: Battle for Demeter in the campaign. Put a satchel charge in the middle of B and wait for someone to run in, then blow it up. Put a new one and wait some more.
Dead Man's Trigger (Tier 2 Kit) is nice. Throw a satchel at an enemy before you die and it almost always kills them.
CTF defending the flag also works, and will give you a good amount of XP as well if you let the enemy grab the flag before you blow it up (you get lots of bonuses for killing the flag carrier and returning the flag).

Generation 4 to 5

Longbow-DMR Sniper (Pilot Weapon)
Kill 150 enemies
Kill 50 Pilots
Strategy: If, like me (Snowed), you are terrible with snipers this can be a bit of a problem. I had the greatest success running around with an ACOG scope and a suppressor. It's a slow grind and you'll lose most of your games if you aren't any good with it (I won 10 out of 58 games this Gen - previously I had a 78% win ratio), but you'll eventually get all the kills you need.

Quad Rocket (Titan Weapon)
Kill 200 enemies
Kill 50 Titans

RE-45 Auto Pistol (Pilot Sidearm)
Kill 50 Pilots

Charge Rifle (Pilot Anti-Titan Weapon)
Get 30 critical hits
Strategy: See Youtube video below.

Generation 5 to 6

R-101C Carbine (Pilot Weapon)
Kill 200 enemies
Kill 75 Pilots

Arc Cannon (Titan Weapon)
Kill 200 enemies
Kill 50 Titans

Sidewinder (Pilot Anti-Titan Weapon)
Kill 10 Titans

Gooser (Challenge)
Kill a Pilot who is ejecting 5 time(s)
Strategy: Last Titan Standing. Chaingun with extended mag in your Titan. Try to keep a distance so you can clearly make out the enemy. Reload often, but not to often. I had issues at first reloading quickly until I realized I had only used 1/3 of the mag when I thought I was almost done. You'll want 30-40 bullets to kill a pilot in the air.
When fighting, don't attack after the Titan goes critical. Some players are a bit slow in ejecting. On the flip side, make sure you don't use auto-eject and do use survivor. I got at least 5 of my 50 kills while doomed.
If they cloak when they eject, keep an eye out for their boost pack. You can see it on some maps (depends on the sky color). It's always worth it to spray and pray anyway - got a few kills doing that.
Most importantly, BE AGGRESSIVE. I can't stress how important this is. I see Gen 5 people all the time just sitting in the back hoping someone ejects. These people are stuck at level 50 for ages. You get far more ejections if you're not making it essentially a 5v6 every round and losing the game for your team. I was top scorer in over half my games (pretty easy when everyone else runs around with garbage weapons trying to get regen requirements done).

Generation 6 to 7

Spitfire LMG (Pilot Weapon)
Kill 200 enemies
Kill 75 Pilots

Triple Threat (Titan Weapon)
Kill 200 enemies
Kill 50 Titans
Strategy: Use the Stryder and be suicidal in LTS. At close range this weapon can cause a metric ton of damage. Holding L will allow you to shoot the grenades in a vertical line allowing more distance at the cost of reducing the spread of grenades.

Mag Launcher (Pilot Anti-Titan Weapon)
Kill 10 Titans

Brain Surgeon (Challenge)
Kill 50 Titans by rodeo
Strategy: You can use the Spitfire LMG with the Slammer add-on to kill fast. The ONLY sure way to get a Rodeo kill is to doom the Titan with your weapon and then have the pilot eject.
Supposedly, you can do this on Auto-Titans but you must make sure you get the kill. To ensure this, stay on the Titan even after you doom it and shoot it until you see you get credit for the kill on the right side of the screen. You can also jump on already doomed auto-titans and get credit. However, I tried MANY times and could never get this to work so I cannot confirm it. Multiple people in the comments have said it does, in fact, work.
It usually will not count if you see on the side of the screen you killed the Titan with a weapon (it must say "Player [Rodeo] X's Auto Titan" instead of [Spitfire LMG]).

Generation 7 to 8

G2A4 Rifle (Pilot Weapon)
Kill 200 enemies
Kill 75 Pilots

XO-16 Chaingun (Titan Weapon)
Kill 200 enemies
Kill 50 Titans

Charge Rifle (Pilot Anti-Titan Weapon)
Kill 10 Titans
Strategy: The Charge Rifle burn card is borderline overpowered. You'll get a few on your way up. Otherwise, the only tip I can really give is to learn to feather your trigger to keep it near a full charge, so you only need to pop out for a split second to shoot the enemy. Cloaking while charging will emit a bright orange light, so don't count on that.

Fresh Squeezed (Challenge)
Get 25 execution kill(s) as a Stryder Titan
Strategy: You can execute by melee'ing when a Titan has gone critical.

Generation 8 to 9

This generation is the opportune time to unlock All the Hardware. You will have to play at least 100 rounds (probably closer to 200) and you'll have more than enough time to unlock every modification. Flip over to the All the Hardware section of the walkthrough for specific details on what you need to do for that achievement.

Strategy: See Youtube below.

Disarmed (Challenge)
Get 25 execution kill(s) as an Ogre Titan
Strategy: You can execute by melee'ing when a Titan has gone critical.

MVP (Challenge)
Be the player with the highest score on your team 50 time(s)
Strategy: Play CTF and try to capture the flags. If you learn some good flag paths, it's fairly easy. The person with the most flag caps on the team is always first. In the event of a tie, flag returns are the tie-breaker. You don't need to actually win to get MVP - just first on your team. If you aren't good at CTF, try constantly attacking at Hardpoint - playing defense was patched to be extremely ineffective for purposes of points.
You also might have some success playing campaign, where the players are generally a bit worse.

Deadly Apparition (Challenge)
Get 200 kill(s) whilst being cloaked
Strategy: You can get these on minions. Using ordnance (satchel charges and arc grenades are both especially good) and jump kicking minions will net you lots of kills as they don't break the cloak. Ghost Squad or any infinite ordnance burn card are all excellent as well. With a burn card, you can easily get close to 50 kills in a game.

Death Reincarnate (Challenge)
Get a kill while ejecting 75 times
Strategy: Use Nuclear Explosion. It does work against minions.

Upon completing all of this, you will unlock what will probably be your final achievement:

Gen 10
1 guideOnline Game ModeVersusLevelTime Consuming

Hello everyone, it's your favorite Titanfall walkthrough editor Eurydace here to discuss all the DLC achievements with you, and you'll be pleased to hear they're actually quite easy. The achievements are tied to map packs which are all available in the Season Pass. Let's get started.

Expedition Map Pack

This includes the maps Swampland, War Games and Runoff. Currently, there are two playlists that include maps from this map pack - both have Expedition in the name and I'm sure you will locate them. You can also get these randomly from normal playlists. Now, for the individual achievements:

---

First we have the general achievements for winning a match and playing every game type on each map (I'm sure you're familiar with that).

As with "I've Seen It All", you can check which game types you have played on each map by going to Personal Stats, selecting Levels, and then scrolling down to the bottom to find these DLC maps. You do not need to play special game types, such as Marked for Death. You need only play Attrition, Hardpoint, CTF, Last Titan Standing and Pilot Hunter.

---

Now there are two special achievements for each map. For War Games, we have...

Faded

Kill 12 Pilots in a single match on War Games

Faded
1 guideOnline Game ModeVersus

and

Super Faded

Kill 100 Pilots on War Games

Super Faded
1 guideOnline Game ModeVersusCumulative +

These do require you to kill pilots. I seriously doubt I need to give you any strategy for this. If you're struggling with 12 pilots in a single match, try to focus on getting them in CTF or Marked for Death. CTF matches on this map are usually very drawn out affairs and I regularly saw people heading well over 30 kills in a single CTF match.

For Runoff, we have...

Blood Water

Kill 200 enemies on Runoff

Blood Water
1 guideOnline Game ModeVersusCumulative +

and

Side Pipe

Kill 25 enemies while wall running on Runoff

Side Pipe
5 guidesOnline Game ModeVersusCumulative +

Blood Water is self-explanatory and will simply come with time. Just kill 200 enemies - any enemies. As long as you don't completely ignore the AI, this will come within 10 games or so without even trying.

Side Pipe sounds tough, but it's not too bad. Your focus here is using weapons that can kill groups easily. For our purposes, Satchel Charges and the Smart Pistol will be the go-to weapons. Throw your satchel charge into a group of enemies or sit and let your pistol lock them all. Then jump on a wall and fire. As long as you are running on the wall (not hanging), you'll get credit for this. Most likely, you don't have many, if any, kills while wall running, so there is a challenge for getting kills while wall running you can use to roughly track your progress.

For Swampland, we have...

Tree Runner

Be airborne for 500 Meters on Swampland

Tree Runner
2 guidesOnline Game ModeSingle PlayerCooperativeVersus

and

It's Safer Here

Don't touch the ground for 60 seconds on Swampland

It's Safer Here
4 guidesOnline Game ModeSingle PlayerCooperativeVersus

For Tree Runner, I suggest not worrying about it until you've played every game type on the map. The map is designed to have you moving around in the air quite a lot anyway, and most likely this achievement will come naturally. If you do want to grind it, use the zip lines back and forth. Beware, the achievement doesn't unlock until the end of a match.

For It's Safer Here, find two or three trees close together. Jump on one and hold L to wall hang. When you start to slip, jump to the other tree and hold L to wall hang. Rinse and repeat. The achievement doesn't unlock while you're in the air, so use the in-game timer to make sure you go for at least a minute.

And that's it for the Expedition DLC.

Frontier's Edge Map Pack

This includes the maps Export, Haven, and Dig Site. Currently, there are two playlists that include maps from this map pack - both have Frontier's Edge in the name and I'm sure you will locate them. You can also get these randomly from normal playlists. Now, for the individual achievements:

Now there are two special achievements for each map. For Export we have...

Kill 25 enemies while cloaked on Export

Hidden Export
1 guideOnline Game ModeVersusCumulative +

and

It's a Trap!

Kill an enemy with the trap on Export

It's a Trap!
3 guidesOnline Game ModeVersus

Hidden Export is easy. Get active camo and run up to enemy AI and melee them to death. You can get this done easily in 1-2 games if you do nothing else. Using burn cards to make camo last longer will help, but really are more than needed.

It's A Trap is interesting. There's a room on this map with some red coils. If you shoot them, it triggers a large amount of electricity across the map. The achievement is unlocked by killing someone with this electricity (the trap becomes active every 5-10 seconds. The best way to get it is to play LTS and constantly use the trap. Enemies tend to fight over there. If you're lucky, and enemy pilot will eject on the ridge and get killed by the trap. Here's a video showing the exact location:

For Haven we have...

Executioner

Execute 2 titans in a single match on Haven

Executioner
3 guidesOnline Game ModeVersus

and

Overkill

Kill 15 titans while you have a Titan Burncard active on Haven

Overkill
2 guidesOnline Game ModeVersusCumulative +

Executioner can be buggy, which is irritating. The task is simple enough, and best completed during LTS or Pilot Hunter. However it will sometimes not unlock properly. Just keep playing until you get it.

Overkill requires you to use Titan Burn Cards and get kills. These burn cards are any that upgrade your Titan in some way (usually weapons and such). You don't need to get kills with the weapons affected by the burn card - simply have it active while getting kills. Any gametype should be fine for this.

For Dig Site we have...

Gravesite

Dirt Nap
