Welcome to the Hitman walkthrough.

You will be playing as Agent 47, a hitman contracted to take out high value targets in highly populated areas. This game starts as a sort of prequel starting with Agent 47 first meeting his handler Diana. The first couple of missions are training missions which serve as a tutorial for the game and a test for Agent 47 to see if he is good enough to be recruited.

The training missions are reasonably small, but there is still alot to do for those who want to spend more time in them. Once you are playing the real missions, you will notice that they are much, much bigger and they are filled with hundreds of people, much more than any previous Hitman game.

This walkthrough will guide you through getting the achievements, but each level has it's own set of challenges as well. This walkthrough will only guide you through the ones required to get achievements. The rest of them? Well, you're own your own Agent.

So, let's get started.

There are a few things to bear in mind as you play.

Always try to keep track of who will be able to see through your disguise. They will be shown as a white dot on the maps (instead of grey). They will also have a dot above their head when you look at them using instinct.

There is no limit to how much you can use instinct, so use it as much as you need to. Time slows down while using it, so if you are waiting for someone / something, try not to use it constantly. Your target(s) will be shown in red, any one that is actively searching for you will be in orange, and as mentioned above, anyone that can see your disguise will have a white dot above their head.

When taking someone's disguise, it is always a good idea to hide the body first if you can. You can then stand next to whatever you have stuffed the body into and still take their clothes. This saves someone finding you while you are stashing the body and comprimising the new disguise.

In most maps there is a disguise that will allow access to large parts of the map, like the Shiek in Paris or the Golf Coach in Sapienza. They will not be able to go everywhere - The Golf Coach cannot go wandering around the underground lab - but it can be helpful. You will get to know which disguises are ok in which areas as we go through the guides.

It is worth switching out your coins for the lockpick. There are plenty of things to throw to ditract people in any map, and you can pick up coins. The lockpick will allow access to some doors that would otherwise be inaccessible. This doesn't include doors that you need a swipe card for.

Before starting a particular map, it is worth checking out the challenges. You need to pass the challenges to earn points and raise your rank. There is an achievement for each location for getting to rank 20.

Saving just before killing a target can help with knocking off several challenges in a short time. For example, you can use poison to kill a target, then reload to use poison to send them to a bathroom to be sick. Once in the bathroom where they are isolated, you can save before drowning them in the toilet, reload and shoot them in the head, reload to use fibrewire etc, depending on the challenges required.

PROLOGUE

ARRIVAL

When you first start the game, you will be dropped of on a helicopter landing pad in some mountains. Walk up the near by stairs to trigger the cutscene.

GUIDED TRAINING

When you gain control of 47 again, you will be in a training scenario in a dock with a yacht ahead of you. This is one big stage made for your training, so you will notice that everything is made with wooden panels, including the yacht and the helicopter on the top deck. The game will give you instructions, so just do as you are told for now.

Approach the gangplank where you are told you can't come aboard. Follow the marker to the window behind the small truck and climb through. Then crouch and approach the mechanic from behind. Hold cn_X until you subdue him, but do not snap his neck. you will then earn this achievement.

Drag the mechanic into the bathroom and take his clothes. Then enter the yacht through the garage area and go upstairs. You will be prompted to use your instinct as you go upstairs to locate the target (hold cn_RB). He will be pretty much straight ahead of you and marked in red. You will be told to follow him, but will be stopped at the next flight of stairs. Go to the next marker in the kitchen where you will find a crew member stirring a pot. Get behind him, subdue him and stuff him in the freezer. You can then take his clothes once he is inside by holding cn_A while next to the freezer.

You can now go upstairs, but be careful that the target does not see you as he will see through your disguise. Approach him and blend in at the bar by pressing cn_Y. When he and the guy in white leave, go back towards the stairs you came up and go past the two guards. Just past the stairs that go up to the next level, you will see an open window. This is where the target is going. Get in the room before he does and enter the door to the small bathroom in the centre. Equip your fibre wire and wait. When they are both in the room, keep checking your instinct by holding cn_RB. The game may still want you to sneak into the room, but don't worry about it. When you see the guy in white (with the hat) leaning out of the window, go out into the room and garrot the target with your fibre wire. Drag him back into the bathroom and hide him in the cupboard to the left. Then leave and go out of the window. If the white marker appears showing that the guy in white is looking at you, quickly move next to the bathroom wall opposite the window to lower the bar and then go out the window. For the unnoticed kill, you will earn this achievement.

Then go downstairs and back into the kitchen. Swap back to the mechanic outfit and walk off the boat using the gangplank. Approach the car that is indicated as an exit and press the button to finish. You will then earn this achievement.

FINAL TEST
So, on to the last training mission. Again you will notice that all the buildings etc are made of wood, indicating that it is just a set.

First, hit the cn_back to bring up the objectives menu. Hit the cn_RB a couple of times until you are in the Opportunities tab. Select the Safety First opportunity to start tracking (it should say stop tracking below the picture), then return to the game. You should now see a lightbulb icon somewhere when you look around. That shows where the next part (in this case, the first part) of the opportunity is. We'll come back to that later. I'll refer to them as waypoints.

When you start, you will be crouched behind a small truck. Go all the way round it (it doesn't matter if the guards see you at this point) and approach the fence that the truck is facing. Pick up the nearby crowbar from on top of a box. You should notice that a section of the barb wire is missing at the top of once of the fences which you can climb. Hop over and stick to the shadows / darker area follow the area round behind the parked cars to the next fence. Conveniently there is another section of fence missing, so jump over this as well. You will notice a cage on wheels straight ahead of you and a generator to the left. Crouch and turn off the generator, then hide behind the cage. A nearby guard will come to check out the generator. subdue him and dump him in the box you are next to. Take his clothes but leave his gun. For taking his clothes, you will earn this achievement.

Make your way through the building to the waypoint, making sure that no one sees through your disguise (avoiding people with the dots above their head). You will listen to two guys talking and the waypoint will move. Make your way to the next waypoint which is in the hanger. There are a few people here that will see through your disguise, but you should be able to walk straight up to a clipboard and read it. The waypoint will now float above the hear of a mechanic. Follow him past a couple of guards until he walks behind shelving, then subdue him and dump him in the nearby box. Take his clothing.

Grab the wrench on the box near by. Walk over to the jet, but be careful of the two mechanics as they will both see through your disguise. They will start talking and both face away from you. Quickly adjust the ejector seat and move back to the other side of the jet. For completing the opportunity, you will receive this achievement.

Go upstairs and find the target. Talk to him and he will follow you to go over the safey checks. Keep telling him what to do until he ejects himself through the roof of the hanger. Then immediately leave towards the rear of the jet towards the exit. For completing the ejector seat opportunity and the mission, you will earn these achievements.

You should also now have had a ballistic kill, an accident kill (the ejector seat) and an explosion kill, earning you this achievement.

Start up the Final Test again, and this time, head off in the other direction. Just past the car that serves as the exit, and some boxes, you should find a section of fencing that you can climb. It is near to the two guys discussing the safety protocol and the ejector seat. Hop the fence and move round to the left until you reach the small car which looks like a VW Beetle close to the guard hut. If you are quick, you should be able to go through the window of the hut, out the door the other side heading left towards the outer wall of the map. Then go right so that you are following the wall round. You may get the white indicator saying that someone has seen you, but you should have time before they become too suspicious. If you are struggling, wait by the small car until the two mechanics have gone past, then wait a bit more until another guard has approached and left again on the other side of the hut.

Once you are through and following the wall round, you should see a long hose on the ground. Go to the end of this and you will be close to the corner of the building where there is a drainpipe which you can climb. Check where the two mechanics are (the ones discussing the jet). If they are approaching the large doorway, then wait. If you can't see them yet, or you waited for them to go first, then quickly go to the drainpipe and climb up. Then move past the first two windows and in through the third. You will be in a bathroom.

For the time being, you just have to wait. After a short time the colonel will go into the room with the target and his guard. He will go and stand near his desk for a bit, then come into the bathroom. Before he comes in, get into the big box next to the door. While he is checking himself out in the mirror, the target and his guard will leave. As soon as the colonel leaves the bathroom, get out of the box, equip your silenced pistol and walk into the room. At the far end of the table in the middle or the room, you will see a chess board. Drop the gun near there (by pressing cn_down) and go back to the bathroom. You won't have to wait long before the target and his guard come back in. The guard will notice the gun, pick it up and take it to the hanger. The target will likely start moving towards the chessboard. Either try to grab him on the way, or keep left and try to stay out of his line of sight when he turns round at the end. Grab him and subdue him. Snap his neck and drag him to the bathroom where you can his body in the big box. Once the guard gets the gun to the hanger, you will get this achievement.

Then it is just a case of getting away unseen. Climb out the window and move back along to the drainpipe. Slide down and move diagonally away from the building to the edge of the compound. Make your way back towards the small guard hut, being careful of the patrolling guard, and move round the edge until you can jump the fence again. The select the exit at the car. If any guards give you any trouble (the one by the hut sometimes hears you and turns round), reload and throw a coin to move him away.

Once you finish, you will get this achievement.

Okay. One more run at this mission. This time we are going to get the general to kill the target for us. Start off the same way as you did the first time so that you get the guard uniform. Go through the window again and use the door next to the TV that the two guards are watching. In the next room, you will see to more guards talking. On the counter next to them are some projector slides. Grab them, head back to the TV room and go up the stairs. Towards the far end of this room you will see a projector screen. Go to the projector just in front of it and put in the slides. At some point the general will look at the screen and then go off and get the target. Go outside the nearby door.

Wait until the colonel and the target are both back and looking at the screen. Wait for any guards to pass the window, so they can't see you, then turn off the power to the projector with the powerbox between the door and window. The target will start playing with the projector trying to get it to work. The colonel will come out and flick the switch back on, electrocuting the target. You will then earn this achievement. You can then go back to the room were you picked up the slides and walk straight out and across the yard to the exit. For getting the colonel to kill the target, you will have earned this achievement.

FREEFORM TRAINING

You can now play the first training mission again, but you can kill your target any way you want. To get this first achievement, you need to kill the target while disguised as Mr Norfolk (the man in white we saw earlier) who is stood by a car near the gangplank.

When you start, you should notice some items on the box in front of you. Take all the coins and approach the rear of the car that Mr Norfolk is standing next to. Take cover against it by hitting cn_B, and then hold the cn_LT to aim and cn_RT to throw a coin towards the car in the alleyway to the left (which you used to end the mission last time). Make sure you throw it as far as you can. Mr Norfolk will become suspicious and go and check it out. Sneak along behind him and take cover against the boards. If your first throw was far enough, Mr Norfolk should be stood a short distance ahead of you. Now throw another coin towards the rear of the alleyway, somewhere behind the car. When he goes to check it out this time, follow him and subdue him. There is nowhere to hide him here, so just drag him round the corner out of view. Nobody comes this way to it is not really a problem.

Now that you are disguised as Mr Norfolk you can walk freely onto the yacht. Walk up the gang plank and turn right, then wait at the bottom of the first flight of stairs. The target should come down shortly and you can talk to him. If he has already come down to this level, go and find him where you had to blend in the first time round. Once you've spoken to him, follow him to his room. Make sure you shut the door behind you and then walk behind the target while he logs on to his computer. Equip your silenced pistol and shoot him in the head as you need to get a firearm kill for another achievement later on. Drag his body into the bathroom again and dump him in the cupboard. Either leave through the door or the window and go upstairs where you can now finish the mission by leaving in the helicopter (or at least you would if it wasn't made of wood).

For killing the target as Mr Norfolk, you will earn this achievement.

Unexpected Guest in HITMAN

Now start this mission again. This time we are going to get an explosive kill, again for part of another achievement later on. The explosion kill is very easy to get in this mission.

Start by taking the remote explosive from the box in front of you and quickly unequip it by hitting cn_up, otherwise you will be spotted holding a bomb by the guards to the right. Use the same method to get on the boat as you did in the first training mission and once you get a crew outfit go upstairs. Instead of going to blend in and listen, just go straight to the window and climb in. Equip the remote explosive and press both cn_RB and cn_LB at the same time, to place it. A good place is on the small extension of the desk (as in not the main part with the computer on) on the side that you can see from the window. That way he won't notice it when he walks in. Leave through the window and wait. You can go and blend in if you want to, but eventually the real Mr Norfolk will come aboard and meet with the target (he goes for a drink downstairs first). As the target walks past the desk to the computer, detonate the mine, go upstairs and leave with the helicopter again.

There are still some in game challenges to complete if you want, but they are not tied to an achievement, so I will let you work those out for yourself.

Escalation

The last achievement related to the ICA facility, is to reach level 5 in one of the Escalations. These are levels that get increasingly more difficult (although they still aren't difficult) by adding another condition to win. The initial two available were The Einarsson Inception and The Snorrason Ascention.
You will probably find both really easy, so I'm not going to walk you through step by step, but if you are having difficulty use the videos below. You do not need to do both.

Contracts

So, that completes your training. Before we move on to the other destinations, however, we are just going to get the achievements relating to Contracts. There are four achievements to get here. First from the main menu, select the Contracts tab, then Create Contract and finally the Contract Creation Tutorial.

You will find yourself in the yacht training mission. Follow the instructions and tag Terry Norfolk, then untag him. Get yourself onto the yacht. An easy way to do this is to sneak into the guard hut near to where you started, subdue the guard in the doorway and steal his clothes after dumping him in the cupboard. Take the crowbar and force the nearby gate that lets you get to the rear of the boat.

You will then be asked to select an opportunity. Select the one about killing a guard and follow the marker to find him patrolling near by. Mark him and kill him using the fibrewire to make sure you aren't seen. Then dump him in the cupboard. Walk through the yacht to come out near the car deck and select the other opportunity. You will be told to tag all three mechanics before going to pick up a remote explosive and a gas cylinder. Place the gas cylinder on the marked spot and then crouch on the other side of the car. Place the remote explosive here somewhere then leave. Get yourself out to the alleyways and set off the explosive, killing all three.

You have now completed both oppotunities and can exit the mission. You will then earn this acievement.

The Creative Assassin in HITMAN

Next go to the Create Contract menu and select the Prologue. You will be in the ICA training facility. Go to the car with the exit button next to it and tag the nearest guard, Luca Wood, as the target. Shoot him in the head and use the exit.

Now that you have created the contract you will need to play it two more times. The first time, wait around for a while before killing him. The second time, kill him as you get to the car. You should beat your first score for having a better time, and you will then earn this achievement.

Go back to the Contracts tab and select the Featured Contracts menu. If you want this quicker, pick a mission in a map that you are comfortable with that only has one target to speed things up. It is also worth picking one that has a condition to use any weapon. The mission Too Much To Drink is one set in Paris that is easy to do. Despite the name indicating that you should probably try to poison him, you can actually walk up and shoot him in the head, although you will then have to run as guards start shooting at you. It doesn't matter, as long as you get to the exit. You could always do it properly and you don't have to choose that contract.
When you complete one of the featured contacts and get safely to an exit, you will earn this achievement.

A New Profile in HITMAN

Lastly, you have to complete ten contracts. You can go back to the one that you created where you killed Luca Wood and compete that a few more times. On completing the tenth, you will earn this achievement and will have finished with the contract achievements.

THE SHOWSTOPPER

So, welcome to the first main mission, The Showstopper, set in Paris. You have two targets to kill in this mission, Viktor Novikov, who will be wandering around downstairs around the fashion show, and Dalia Margolis, who will be on the top floor at an auction.

For the first run through, we are going to kill Dalia first, then come back down to deal with Viktor.

When you start, head straight ahead and into the main entrance of the building. Follow the red carpet to the right of the stairs (Viktor will be coming down the stairs, but just ignore him for now), and when you get to the next room where the carpet stops, turn right. Got through the door and turn right again. Go through the next door which is open, and into the first bathroom on the left. Here, you will find an IAGO invitation next to the sink. Take it, and if you have any weapons, stash them in the bin, as you will be getting searched shortly.

Leave the bathroom and turn right and right again, then go outside to an area where loads of people are standing around and drinking. Walk down the steps straight ahead of you and turn left. Follow the path along the building until you find two guards by a door. Show them your invitation and go inside. Approach the next guard and turn right through the door. Then show your invitation to the two guards before going up the stairs. Take the door ahead of you and approach the next guards who will search you before allowing you to go upstairs. A member of auction staff will direct you to the right where you can go through the double doors and then take a door on the left so that you enter the room where people are sat in a circle (this should be easy to spot on your map). You will be able to blend in as 47 on one of the chairs. Dalia will approach you and you will introduce yourself as Tobias Rieper, earning you this achievement.

Next, head back to the member of auction staff that directed you at the top of the stairs. Go through the doors behind him and quickly go to the right as you will be trespassing. Crouch by the window and (making sure the doors are still open) throw a coin to the other side of the doorway, by the furniture covered in a sheet. The member of auction staff will come in to check it out. Crouch / sneak up to him and subdue him. Then take his clothes. Head back to the auction room and go through the door on the opposite side. turn left and go through both sets of doors, crouching as you enter the second set (into the attic) and move to the left so you can't be seen (you are trespassing again).

In this part of the attic, you should see a guard in the middle of the room, another guard off to the right (who you can ignore) and another guard either sat at a computer in the middle or off to the left looking out of the window. You need to move towards the middle of the room, by skirting round to your left a bit. The guard in the middle will look left and right so try to time it so he is looking to his left (away from you). If the other guard is sat at the chair, then the guard in the middle will walk over to the guard on the right making it easier for you.

On one of the boxes in the middle, you will find a laptop dongle. Grab it and go back out the way you came. Once out of the attic, you will see the doors you came through straight ahead and another set of doors to the left. They lead into Dalia's office. Go in there and close the doors behind you. When the coast is clear and her assistant is not in the room, examine the laptop, then use the laptop dongle on it. This will complete A Quick Break opportunity. The assistant will eventually approach the laptop, panic and leave after a conversation with the guard outside. This is a good time to save as the conversation takes a while and can be annoying to listen to again if you mess up.

Once they leave go outside and pick up the scissors on a small table outside. Do not use the letter opener that is on the desk because you will be marked as visually armed whereas you won't with the scissors. Move closer to the door again and wait for Dalia and her guard to enter. She will start sorting out the laptop while the guard moves to the other end of the room. Position yourself so that the guard cannot see you and just as she finishes fixing the laptop throw the scissors at her head. Then RUN round the rest of the balcony and in through the doors half way along. Run down the stairs and in through the door ahead of you at the bottom where you will find some more stairs to the left. If you are quick enough, you won't be hunted, but you will see the searching notification above your map.

Go to the other end of this room towards the other stairs and go right through the door. Straight ahead of you is another door leading to the kitchen. In the corner diagonally left from where you are, you will find some rat poison. Take it and go back out the door you just came in through, turn right and head outside. You will notice some stairs leading to a basement on the right. Go down and inside. Go through this room and when you reach the long corridor leading from left to right, head right to the end. Turn left and you will find a recipe on a worktop to the right. Grab / read it and head back the way you came until you are outside. Go back to the kitchen and take the door directly ahead of you as you enter. This will take you to the back of the bar area. Head left and round to the bar. You will see a couple of bottles (one yellow and one blue) and a glass. Approach them and mix a drink. When you are done, poison it with the rat poison. This will complete the A Drink To Die For opportunity.

Go to the other end of the bar where there is a door leading to the backstage of the show. To the right are a couple of toilets (just behind someone on his phone). Go in the first one and hide in the wardrobe. Viktor will eventually come in to throw up. Once he is leaning over the toilet, exit the wardrobe and drown him. Hide him in the wardrobe and leave. Go back into the room with the bar and go to the other end, taking the door on the right hand side. You should be able to find your way back out the main front entrance from here. Leave the area and you will earn this achievement.

When No One Else Dares in HITMAN
Complete The Showstopper.

For the next play through, start as a stylist and select any item to stash in an agency pickup. As soon as you start, you will receive this achievement.

Select the Opportunity for 15 Minutes Of Fame and go to the marker in the next room where two people are talking to start the opportunity. Then run back into the stylists room and go to the far end where a guy in purple is stood in front of a diorama. There is a coin on the floor in front of it if you need it. Go round the back and put in the coin. This will set off the diorama and drive the guy in purple mad. Prepare to follow him as he has a quick drink and then says he's found his cigarettes. subdue him next to the large box and stash him inside. This will make it easier later to kill Victor with the light rig.

Now let's get back to the opportunity we are tracking. Head to the marker and you will see Helmut having a picture taken on the lawn by the helicopter. Get close by hiding by the wall and he will walk off to make a phone call. Follow him but don't go on the lawn as you will be trespassing. Once through the gap in the hedge, he will make a phone call. Be aware that there will be a guard along the hedge to your right as you go through the gap. The guard will approach and stand at the gap for a while while Helmut makes a call. As soon as the guard starts to walk away take Helmut out and take his clothes. Either leave his body there or dump it over the side. You won't be able to hide it otherwise. Personally I would dump it. You are going to accidentally kill a lot of people on this playthrough, so what's one more?

Call Dalia and then make your way back to the marked chair in the stylist area. After that, go and walk the catwalk, then make your way upstairs and into Dalia's room which is just behind the massive table of food in the auction room. After a brief conversation, she will get up and walk towards her window. Take her out and drag her into the bathroom which is just behind where she was sitting. Make sure you have killed her. If you just pacified her, then make sure you snap her neck, then stuff her in the wardrobe. You will have completed the 15 Minutes Of Fame Opportunity. This might be a good time to save.

Clime out of the window next to the wardrobe and up on top of the lightrig. Be careful here as there will be guards sometimes looking out of the windows around the area.

Use your instinct and you will see a crowbar at the far end. Slowly, get to the crowbar and then back onto the light rig, approaching the winch in the middle. Somewhere below you should see Viktor if you use your instinct. He will walk onto the stage and then start walking underneath you. When you are ready, break the winch with the crowbar and drop the light rig on him. This will complete the Lights out Opportunity and also get you this achievement.

The Showstopper in HITMAN

Now you just need to leave. This time, make your way to that helicopter on the rear lawn and use that to get away. You can just run up to it and get in.

For the next playthrough, start with a remote explosive and a lockpick. Start tracking the Rare Scoop opportunity. Follow the tracker until you see the lady on the phone moaning about missing a camera lens. Behind her on the counter is her camera. Approach it and hide the remote explosive inside. The lens she is looking for is basically the other side of the wall she is facing, outside in her van, so find the door some way to the left and pick the lock. Go outside and approach the news van. The side door is open and you will find the lens. Then go back to the woman and talk to her to give her the lens. Follow her until she goes outside. You may have to wait a while until Viktor joins her at the bottom of the main staircase first. Use this time to go to the bathroom where the IAGO invitation is and watch for a guard to enter the larger room. Stand by the double doors nearby. Flood the sink and leave the bathroom and he should go in to investigate. subdue him and wait a short time as a nosy woman will also come in. Just punch her to the face when she opens the door and drag her inside. Take the guard's uniform and go to the main staircase where the reporter was waiting.

Once the reporter and Viktor both go outside and start the interview to the left of the fountain, set off the explosive. You will have completed the Rare Scoop opportunity and completed one of the many challenges on the way to level 20.

Go up the main staircase (either side) and take the door that leads into the balcony area in the middle of the building. It is in a large rectangle, overlooking the catwalk area. Be careful in here because there are guards who will see through your disguise. Get to the other end where there are two guys surrounded by equipment. Next to one of them is a remote for the firework display, which you will want to take. Leave the room at this end and you should see a the staircases at this end of the building on your map. In the room where the staircase leads downstairs, you will find kitchen staff busy at work. In a large room behind them is a waiter on his phone. Enter the room, shut the door and sneak up behind him to subdue him. Stick him in the nearby wardrobe and take his clothes. Be aware that a guard can see you if he happens to be walking past the door half way down the room as you do this. Either wait until he passes or go and shut the door before moving the waiter.

Drop any guns you have in this room. Then go to the staircase leading upstairs, where you will get frisked. Head to the small corridor outside her office and grab the screwdriver on the counter. Then head into the auction room and onto the balcony. Equip the fireworks remote and set them off. Dalia will come out on to the balcony to watch them, and you will have completed the Playing With Fire opportunity.

Make sure you are at the opposite end of the balcony to her, and the guard. When the guard is facing away from you, throw the screwdriver at Dalia's head and vault over the short edge of the balcony. You will find a handy drain pipe that you can slide down to get away. Head into the building and straight ahead of you on the map you should see a small staircase that leads to the basement. Head down, through the kitchen and find the tunnel exit on your map to complete the mission.

For the last play though, start in the AV centre with a lockpick. Run to the other end of the balcony area, but instead of taking the door that leads out to the top of the main staircase, take one to the left that leads to an empty room with a piano in it. As you enter the room, there is a door on the right. Pick the lock, and use your instinct to check that the Shiek inside is not walking towards you before entering. If he is on the balcony, sat on the sofa, or stood facing away from you, you are okay to go enter. Once inside, go through the doors immediately on the left and into the bathroom. Turn on the radio and hide in the wardrobe until the Shiek comes in to investigate. subdue him, stuff him in the wardrobe and take his clothes.

Get upstairs to the auction room and sit in the chair on the opposite side to when you were Mr Rieper. Place a bid when you can. When you win the auction, you be invited to join Dalia in her office and will have completed the Guest Of Honor opportunity.

Enter the room and close the doors, then release the winch next to the doors to drop the chandalier on her. Then quickly get downstairs before anyone becomes suspicious of you.

You will now want to get a bodyguard uniform. There is an easy one to get near the room where we got the waiter outfit and ditched our guns in a previous playthrough. Go to the opposite end of the room to the waiter and there will be a bodyguard walking to the stairs in a near by room, and back again. Wait for him to come back and when he stops as if looking in a cabinet, subdue him. You then want to go and close the doors leading to the stairs, so the guards at the bottom don't see you before dragging him into the room with the waiter. Only take him just inside and to the left. You can leave him in the corner there and he won't get spotted. Don't take him too much further into the room as the waiter will see you. You can also pick up the bodyguard's gun and keep it or dump it in the room with him.

Now track the Private Meeting opportunity and get yourself to the marker which is outside near the main front gate. Just be careful to avoid any guards who may see through your disguise. When you get to the marker, there will be two guards talking so you can follow this opportunity. Go to the next marker and stand near to the two men. One of them is Decker, who will make a phone call. Shortly after the phone call you will be able to talk to him and get him to follow you to the meeting point. Walk round the building until you get to the gate with a guard on it. Again, be careful as some of the patrolling guards will see through your disguise. Enter an approach the pavilion in the centre. There are more guards here that will see you so be careful. Decker will wait at the pavilion and call Viktor who will show up a short time later. You will then have completed the Private Meeting opportunity.

Move close to the gate where we came in, to one side so he won't see you, and as Viktor enters, shoot him in the head and run to the helicopter to finish the mission.

As you have now completed all opportunities you will have earnt this achievement.

So Many Ways to Stop the Show in HITMAN

You are almost done with Paris. You will find that you aren't quite at level 20 mastery yet, but you shouldn't be too far off. You will need to start up a new playthough and complete a few more challenges to get there. These are some suggestions for the easier challenges to get you to level 20, but you can look at the list yourself and pick something you want to have a go at. Bear in mind that as long as the notification saying that the challenge has been completed shows up, you can reload or even restart the mission. When you next complete it, the challenge will still appear in the completed list at the end. You do have to complete the mission at some point to get them to count.

You may want to consider doing the escalation achievement below, first, as you will also earn some challenges in that as well.

  • When starting a new playthrough, always try to choose a new starting location. Also try to leave through an exit you haven't used before.
  • Bull in a china shop. When you go up the main stairs and turn left, there will be a near by room with a large vase in it. Just shoot it.
  • Careful what you wish for. Throw a coin in the fountain.
  • Ducks in a row. Find the stage schedule near the entrance to the stage.
  • One little mistake. Make Sebastian Sato sick (he is the guy near the diorama). Put rat poison in the drink he sips from before going for a cigarette. You will need to set off the diorama to get him to drink it. He will then go to be sick in a bin. Classy.
  • Terminal Velocity assassination. Simply get the firework control (easy to start in the AV centre) and get up to Dalia's balcony. Set off the fireworks and wait for her to lean over the edge and Viktor to stand underneath watching the fireworks. Then push her off, killing them both.
  • Poison, drowning and fibrewire. Make Viktor his bareknuckle boxer and use lethal poison on it for one and rat poison for another. When he goes to be sick, drown him in the toilet or use the fibrewire. Likewise with Dalia, she drinks from a glass on the balcony with a small bar on it. You can do the same to her. If you save before putting in the poison, once you have completed one method, reload and do the other. When you complete the mission you will get credit for all styles.
  • The Speechless assassination. You need to get Viktor on stage in the same way you previously did and then shoot him in the head.

Once you get to level 20, you will earn this achievement.

City of Light in HITMAN
Reach Paris Mastery Level 20.

For the next achievement you will need to complete level five of an Escalation set in Paris. These are missions that get progressively harder by adding a condition to each level. An easy one to complete is The Marsden Isotopy which can be done in just a couple of minutes for each playthrough.

Start as tech crew at the AV centre. Then follow the video guide below, which can be adapted to complete the tasks for each level. The video covers level five of the escalation. The tasks are;

  • Level 1 - Kill a member of the kitchen crew with a kitchen knife while dressed as tech crew.
  • Level 2 - As above, but you must hide all dead bodies within 90 seconds.
  • Level 3 - As above, but you also have to kill a guy with the fibrewire.
  • Level 4 - All bar staff are replaced with bodyguards armed with shotguns.
  • Level 5 - You have to complete the mission within 5 minutes.

WORLD OF TOMORROW

Welcome to Italy. In the Sapienza mission, World Of Tomorrow, you have to kill two targets, Silvio Caruso and Fransesca De Santis. On top of that, you also need to find the secret lab and kill the DNA virus.

It is possible to do most of the opportunities in one playthrough, but you will need to replay the mission to complete various challenges to reach level 20 anyway, so I have broken them down into a few playthroughs to try and maximise progress for challenges. For a couple of playthroughs, we will simply restart after getting the achievement we are going through.

When setting up the mission for the first playthrough, switch out the coins for the lockpick.

When you start the mission, you will be sat on a bench in the main square opposite the mansion. Get up and walk towards the white van to the right of the mansion, next to the red building. As you approach, you will hear a woman shouting to Rocco who is on the top floor telling him that he is going to be late. Enter the door to the right of the shop (next to the moped) and go to the top floor. On the right is Rocco's door. Pick the lock and sneak in. Straight ahead of you on a small table is the mansion key card. Make sure you pick it up, then take the kitchen uniform in the next room before sneaking back out to the van.

Behind the van is a swipe access door to the grounds of the mansion. Be aware that the woman who was shouting at Rocco will see through your disguise. Follow her (and wait as she ties her shoe) inside the door straight ahead, and then immediately turn left inside. Head into the main kitchen and talk to the head chef, who will ask you to finish the tomato sauce. Give it a stir before going outside and ringing the bell. This will complete the First Day On The Job opportunity. If you want to, you could add rat poison (which is next to one of the stoves) or lethal poison to complete additional challenges in another playthrough. When Silvio eats the rat poison, he will and throw up over a cliff. You can then shove him off or fibrewire him if you want. The lethal poison will obviously kill him outright.

For now, we are not going to poison Silvio because we can move on to another opportunity straight away. Opposite the bell, is a small set of steps that lead to a narrow path to the right of the building and along a cliff edge. Follow the path and pick the lock of the first door you find. This leads into a sort of cinema / display room. Head left and through another door, then left again where you should find some stairs (you will also see them on the map). Head to the top and go left, then right. You are in a balcony area above the cinema room. Go to the opposite side and up the stairs by the telescope. At the top you will find a VHS tape. Grab it and head back down to the cinema room. Near the large TV screen which is currently switched off, you will find a projector where you can insert the tape. Then behind you, you should find a Plague Doctor outfit on display. Take the amputation knife to the left of the outfit before hiding in the outfit itself. This will complete the Memory Lane opportunity.

After a while, Silvio will enter the room and notice the tape. He will order all his bodyguards to leave the room and watch the tape with his back to you. Sneak up behind him and make sure you have the amputation knife equipped when you kill him for one of the challenges. Dump his body in the box in the corner of the room near the staircase. Make sure you switch back to the kitchen assistant and unequip the knife before leaving the room back to the cliff edge.

Make your way back to the kitchen and enter the store room on the left at the far end. You can climb out of the window to a ledge, head left and across the room and unlock the door to head back into Rocco's building. The apartment you enter here is actually the ICA safe house, but we'll come back to that later. You can also climb the small balcony into Rocco's apartment if you want. Either way, head through the building and out the main door downstairs.

Head down the hill and take the first alleyway to the right. Follow it back up the hill and you should see a person marked on the map who will see through your disguise. Don't worry, he's asleep. Somewhere near him on the ground, you should find a coin. There is also another one further round the corner to the right as you face him, next to a man in a loud shirt. Grab one of the coins. The sleeping man is a PI that has been hired by Fransesca.

Head down the steps a bit until you are at the entrance of the alleyway tunnel. Wait for an annoying woman in a red dress to enter the tunnel, and subdue her before she sits down. Then dump her in the dumpster. Now go up the steps and throw the coin near to the PI to wake him up. You then need to eavesdrop on his conversation with Fransesca on the phone without him seeing you. After the phone call, he will walk down the hill and into the alleyway tunnel from the other side. Run round and follow him into the tunnel. When he is close to the dumpster, subdue him and dump him inside. Make sure no one can see you, then take his outfit. You now need to meet Fransesca on the pier, which should be marked if you are tracking the opportunity.

After a while, Fransesca will arrive. Talk to her and she'll lead you into the tunnel near by. Her guards will wait outside. Wait until you are inside a bit, but she is still walking ahead of you and kill her however you like (silenced pistol / fibre wire / snap neck / lethal poison). Then dump her in a dumpster. Make sure you pick up her biolab keycard. This will have completed the A Case Most Peculiar opportunity.

Now it's just a case of getting into the secret lab to destroy the virus.

Go back to the alleyway and grab your kitchen outfit, then head back into the kitchen through the door behind the van. Get yourself back to the staircase where you went up to get the tape, but this time head downstairs. The guards that were all waiting by the doors should be gone now. Use your new swipe card to enter the door and follow the tunnel straight ahead. Just in front of you, you should see a yellow staircase. Sneak down the stairs and be careful that you are not seen enough to set off an alert. At the far end of this platform is a generator. Turn this off and then hide behind the box thing in the centre. A guard will come up to investigate.

Take him out and dump him in the box nearby. You can then take his uniform. Sometimes a scientist will also then come up and may go and fetch a guard if they spot the gun lying on the floor. If you are quick, you can pick it up before they notice and then dump it somewhere out of view, or you can leave it. You don't want to be carrying it around as you will soon be changing outfit and apparently they view a scientist with a shotgun as suspicious.

If the scientist does fetch a guard, just hide and wait for him to remove the gun. Head down the stairs and right. You will see a small set of yellow stairs that lead into the room you were just on top of, and in the background is another hut. This is the staff room and where we will be aiming to get to, just make sure to avoid the guard who can see through your outfit.

You need to walk to the left side of the hut and walk round the back. Ignore the staircase and keep moving round until you see a door. Grab the nearby rat poison and go inside (you can delete the CCTV footage here if you want). Wait until there is a scientist on his own in the other section of the hut. Go behind him, subdue him and quickly drag him back to where the CCTV system is. You may need to be fairly quick as a guard will come in for a drink shortly afterwards. Take the scientist's clothes, pick up the keycard he dropped and leave the hut through the door you came in. Instead of going the way you came from, walk round to the right into the cave-like area. You should see a scientist talking to a couple of guards ahead of you. Keep following the cave until you are near them and wait until the scientist is facing the other way. You can then walk round and behind the two guards into the next area. Keep left until you are behind the curtained decontamination showers. There is a scientist stood near the steps looking at a clipboard. Keep walking and use the other side of the steps and he won't notice you. Go inside the lab and as long as no one else is in the room with you, take the decontamination suit. If there is someone else there, wait for them to leave. Follow the tunnel to the left and you will enter the room where the DNA is and complete the Hostile Environment opportunity.

This is a good place to save.

Ideally, you will want to wait until there are only two other people in the room. A third person will come in and hang around from time to time, sometimes a fourth will also turn up, so just wait until they are looking away if you have no choice. Whenever you are ready, go to far side of the room and to the left you will see some rats. Use the rat poison on them. Then move to the other corner where you will find a machine that you can use to select samples. Two are red, the rest are green. Select the two red ones, and quickly get behind the two people that are stood in the centre of the room. The two scientists will go to check the rats and the machine out. Sometimes it works better doing the machine first, then the rats. Go to the panel that they were both stood next to and raise the temperature to destroy the virus. It will take a short time to work, so leave back through the tunnel and change back into the scientist outfit. Then leave through the door on the right (which you came in through) and get back behind the showers.

Once outside, you need to wait for the scientist who is talking to the two guards to turn away again. If you were spotted inside you may have to wait a little bit longer as all the guards go running about. When the scientist looks away, walk back the way you came so that you are at the back of the hut with the CCTV. Keep going until you are by the staircase and you should see the plane nearby. Casually walk up to it, get inside and you will complete the mission earning this achievement.

Die by the Sword in HITMAN

Start the game again, this time choosing the ICA safe house as a starting point, and the location to smuggle a silenced sniper (Jager 7). Also make sure you equip the lockpick.

First we are going to awaken the Kraken. To do this you need to get the sniper rifle to the balcony of the observatory. Here is a quick video showing you how to do it.

When you get there make sure you save. This next part can be very frustrating.

You need to shoot the four bells on the ship out to sea IN THE CORRECT ORDER.

The following picture shows the locations and order for the bells.

For those with a small screen, the order is the left one, the right one, top then bottom.

If you are struggling and run out of ammo, just reload the save. Once you hit all four in order, the Kraken will come and you will earn this achievement.

Restart the mission once you have the achievement, (starting in the ICA safehouse again).

This time, ignore the sniper, but take the exploding golfball and make your way out of the apartment, downstairs and outside. Follow the road down the hill and make your way into the church. Go towards the back and you will see the confession booths to the left. When you go near them it should trigger an opportunity. Wait around until the female scientist leaves the booth, then leave the church through the main door and turn left. Go into the small building next door. Shut the front doors on your way in and then subdue the church worker. Take the church key and drag his body to one side so that he is hidden behind a coffin. Next unlock the doors to the next room which is where a dead scientist is laying. He will be visited soon by the female scientist from the church. Don't go in the room for now, just close the doors again and wait.

After a short time, she will enter the room with the dead guy, followed by a member of security. Wait until she tells him to leave and he starts walking away. Her attention will now be on the dead guy. Creep into the room and subdue her. You can stuff her in the freezer box to the right. Take her keycard and the scientist's uniform from the dead guy (Nice!).

Before leaving it is worth dumping the church worker in the same box, to save him getting spotted.

Next, head back outside, across the beach towards the arches and follow them to the end towards the pier where we killed Franscesca as the private eye in a previous playthough. As you leave through the last arch, you should see a gap in the fence ahead of you. that passes along some rocks. At the other end is a door that you can use your newly acquired key card on. Enter the door to complete the Absolution opportunity.

Go straight ahead and walk straight past the scientist there. He is facing the other way so should not spot you, just don't bump into him. Turn left when you enter the main cave and go up the steps so that you are above the CCTV room. There is a scientist up here that will spot you if you are not careful, so crouch and move between the stairs and the black box so you are hidden. Wait until he moves back to the left, then use the nearby computer to destroy the virus. Be aware that this will set off a loud alarm, so quickly get back down the stairs before that scientist sees you.

Instead of heading back to the door where you came in, turn around and go the other way. Take the rat poison which is on a box near the door to the CCTV room. Then basically follow the wall along until you can turn up a set of stairs where you will find a guard walking around. Turn left at the top and you will see a passage that has another, short set of stairs off to the left and a ramp-type tunnel straight ahead of you (with a set of stairs going back down to the right).

For now, head up the stairs to the left. There is a door at the top that brings you back into the mansion. Go upstairs to ground level and you can go into the room where you played the video tape previously. You want to leave by the door that leads back to the cliff edge but check that the chef isn't there having a smoke first using instinct. If he is, wait. If not, go out and to the right and get into the box in the corner. When the chef comes past, subdue him put him in the box and take his uniform.

Follow the cliff round until you get to the swimming pool. Be aware that one of Silvio's guards will see through your disguise, so try to avoid him seeing you. There is a red table and sun lounger next to the pool with an umbrella (not the two sun loungers together). On the table is a bottle of water which we are going to poison later. For now go past and onto the green, immediately turn right and drop down into the curved path that circles the green. Follow this round to the far side until you reach the building at the end. Take the stairs to the right and enter the building. Then take the stairs immediately in front of you (you will now have two). Straight ahead of you when you reach the bottom are some shelves. Take the emetic poison and back track to the table with the water bottle.

Make sure the golf coach doesn't see you, then out put poison in the water.

The golf coach will make a phone call to Francesca and then go and drink the water. Run back round towards the kitchen and turn right. You will see the golf coach enter a small bathroom with a window you can climb through. Once he is in there throwing up in the toilet, climb in, subdue him and stick him in the wardrobe behind you. Then take his clothes and pick up his cell phone.

Go into the next room where you will be having a romantic liaison with Francesca as the golf coach (not really - this is agent 47, not James Bond). There is a glass of champagne on a small table which you also want to poison. Now call Fransesca and sit in the chair. This will complete the By Candlelight opportunity.

When Fransesca comes in she will start talking to you and take a sip of the champagne. She will then go and throw up in the same toilet. Briefly wait and then follow her in. Drown her in the toilet and then stuff her in the wardrobe with the golf coach. You should get a few challenges ticked off for this kill, including one for sticking them both in the same cupboard. Now we just have Silvio to deal with.

Climb out the window and go back the same way towards the pool as earlier. You want to get onto the golf course without Silvio or his bodyguards seeing you. Walk wide round to the left if they are on the green or cut right along the edge of the pool if they are off to the left somewhere. Once on the green, place the exploding golfball on the pile and get away. A quick way out is to walk past the large tree in a flower bed shown as a large circle on the map. There is an archway that leads back towards the front gate. Once out the gate, turn right and go to the small white car at the front. You won't have to wait long before Silvio plays a bit of golf and sends himself to the big bunker in the sky. You can then leave in the little white car.

For the next playthrough, start in the main square with a lockpick, but unequip your gun.

Get up and turn round to your left. Go up the stairs and walk towards the café. Go down the stairs to the right of it and you should see a kitchen hand in yellow having a smoke behind a small wall on the left. Go towards him and follow him once he goes inside. Subdue him, stick him in one of the freezers and take his uniform. Off to your right you should see two freezers (you can dump him in if you want) and to the left of those is a door leading to a stairwell. Take those stairs up one floor and enter the rear of the café. The chef will be looking out of the window so use the pillar to hide yourself from him. He will turn round soon and go and stand nearer the main café with his back to you. Go to the window where he was and take the emetic poison to the left, then go and stand back behind the pillar. The chef will go back to the window and you can now leave through the front of the café.

When you get to the front of the café, find the small table with a glass on it near the corner of the building. Poison it and walk towards the large umbrellas by the stairs. An opportunity will reveal as Dr Lafyette will make a phone call. He will then go and drink your poison, so be prepared to follow him to the toilets. Follow him inside and shut the door so the two guys in the main bathroom don't see you. Subdue the doctor, stuff him in the box and take his clothes. Check that you don't have a gun. If you do, go into the next stall and hide it in the bin.

Head back outside and approach the main gate where you will get frisked. Next, approach the main door to the house and talk to the butler. Follow him and when you get to Silvio's room, sit in the chair to wait. It won't be long before he enters and lies on the couch. When prompted, smother him. You will have completed the Catharsis opportunity.

Drag Silvio's body off the couch and away from the doors that you came in, towards the bed and towards the wardrobe in the area to the left of the doors. The guards may come in, but keep dragging towards the wardrobe and quickly dump him inside. They should not see you.

Go through the door to the right of the wardrobe which leads to the bathroom. Take the next door that leads outside. Hop through the window on the right and pick up the safe combination on the desk. Go back out the window and up the plank onto the roof. To the left you should see a drainpipe you can climb to get to the roof above. Go up the drainpipe and get to the far end of the room where you can go into a door. Sneak in and an opportunity will reveal as two guards are staring at a safe. Wait until they start to leave. While sneaking, follow them and as the first guard goes towards the door, subdue the second guard. Drag him back towards the safe and dump him in the nearby box. Take his clothes, approach the safe and open it. Take the DNA sample from inside.

Go through the door that the other guard left through and down the stairs. There will be a few guards who will see through your disguise here, so be careful. Hop through the window near the bottom of the stairs and pick up the screwdriver to the left of the door. Go back out the window and if all the guards have gone and the guard at the far end is looking over the railing, go out to the middle of the courtyard where there is a extension cord you can use then screwdriver on. Head back up the stairs and through the attic and then down to the room where you picked up the safe combination. Francesca should be in the next room, if not, wait for her to arrive and then enter. Talk to her and you will give her the DNA. This will complete the Momento opportunity.

Go back out the window, through the attic and to the bottom of the stairs. Hide near the bottom (close to the box in the alcove, or in through the window) until Francesca and her guards turn up. Use the tap on the nearby wall that the hose is connected to and Francesca will be electrocuted.

Hide in the nearby box until everything calms down and the guards leave. Turn off the hose (not sure if this is really needed) and go and pick up her biolab keycard. Now go and destroy the virus whatever way you want. From this point, the way you did it in the first playthough is probably the easiest.

If you can, try to exit using a different method than the plane to tick off another challenge. There is a boat in the harbour if you can get back there, or a boat at the rear of the island with the ruins on it (head the way the plane is facing along the cliff edge). If you go for the ruins, you may need to sneak past a few guards to get there.

When setting up the next playthrough, choose the starting location as being the mansion as a gardener. When you start you will be on the golf green. Quickly leave and head towards the right of the small building nearby where there is a guard stood leaning over the wall at the cliff edge. Subdue him, take his clothes (first for a change) and then dump him over the side. Press cn_back and tab along to opportunities. Select The Good Son to show the marker you should follow. Cut through the building and head into the large room where the gramophone is. Turn it on and move away to where the butler is at the front of the building. Just go as far as the stairs. When Silvio gets to the gramophone, turn on the stairlift and go upstairs. At the top, turn right and then right again immediately. Go through the door and go straight ahead. Silvo's mother's room is on the left at the end. When Silvio gets to the top of the stairs (use instinct to check), ring the bell above the bed, then stand between the door and the box to the left of the door. Now just wait. Silvio will stand outside the room for a while before entering, but as soon as he enters, you will complete the Beyond The Grave opportunity. He may start to get suspicious as he enters but walks past you anyway. Close the door, kill him, dump him in the box and leave through the other door so you don't walk into his bodyguards.

At this point, you can either finish the mission, or back out to the menu. The opportunity will show up next time you finish a mission. If you decide to carry on, go and kill Fransesca and deal with the DNA however you like. It is worth checking the challenges to see what you are missing, and pick one you are missing to get it ticked off. You can get Francesca alone using the golf coach and use the fibre wire, shoot her in the head, use lethal poison, whatever you like. It is worth leaving through a different exit to get that ticked off as well.

This next playthough contains the last opportunity. Start in the main square and unequip the gun. Head towards the big archway to the left of the mansion, past the little white car you can escape in. You will see a van that has crashed, a flower delivery guy on the phone, and over to the left another flower delivery guy seeing to a cyclist that has come off his bike. Take out the guy on the phone drag him to the front of the van and take his clothes. Then dump him over the edge so he doesn't get found. Go to the other side of the van where the door is open and take some flowers before heading to the main gate to the mansion. Get frisked, head to the main door and speak to the butler. He will tell you to follow him to Silvio's mother's grave in the garden.

When you get there, place the flowers on the grave and then hide in the box behind you. After a fairly long time, Silvio will show up and tell his bodyguards to leave. When he is at the grave, hop out of the box, use your fibre wire and drag him to the yellow shredder. Dump him inside and then use the option to shred him. You will have earned The Good Son opportunity, some challenges, and the following achievement.

Again it is up to you whether you back out or complete the rest of the mission to get other ways of killing Fransesca out of the way. Again, try to use a different exit if you can.

So, now we have to kill Silvio two more ways to get the Trinity achievement, as we have already killed him in therapy. These are shooting him through the telescope and shooting down his plane with a cannon. We'll start with the telescope.

Choose the harbour as your starting location and choose the sewers to stash the Jager 7 silent sniper rifle. Also equip the lockpick.

For the first section it is best if you run the whole way (press cn_LB).

When you start, look to your left and you should see a small door on the other side of the water, under the church. Head round to it and pick the lock. Go inside to enter the church basement and head right to get the a gate leading to the sewers. Pick the lock to the gate, follow the sewer, heading right at the first junction, left at the next and straight on to the pickup point. Take the sniper rifle. Head back the way you came into the basement of the church.

Hopefully you got back before the guy wandering around the sewers spotted you, so you can stop running now. Head straight across the basement and there is a door leading to some stairs within the church. Go half way up the stairs (just round the first corner but not the second) and wait. Use your instinct to check for a guy coming down the stairs above you. He will stop to look at his watch briefly and then leave as another guy comes in and stands in the centre. He doesn't hang around long, so just wait until he leaves as well. The get to the top of the tower and make your way round so you can see the observatory.

On the left side on the observatory you should see an electrical box which from here looks like a brown rectangular window. Shoot it and the cover will come off and the observatory will turn.

This is a good place to save in case you mess up, you miss your chance or the game glitches.

Using your instinct to check every now and then, wait until Silvio goes into the observatory and looks through the telescope. His guard will probably come outside to look around on the balcony. Once Silvio stops moving, this is when you want to take the shot. There should be a circle showing the large end of the telescope where you have to shoot. Sometimes the game will glitch and the circle is missing, so you have to try to guess where to shoot. It is towards the bottom edge, about two thirds the way along from left to right (i.e. more to the right). Shooting through the telescope correctly, you should see a mini cut scene of Silvio getting hit from inside the observatory.

Again it is up to you if you want to complete the mission and get some more challenges out of the way. If you are playing on, ditch your sniper there and leave the way you came, otherwise restart and we will take him out with the cannon.

This time when planning your mission, choose the starting place as the Sapienza ruins. (If that is not available choose the field lab and walk out past the plane to get to the ruins). Climb up the four small straight cliff edges and you will find yourself facing a wall. (To the right is a gate where you will come through if you came from the lab). Head up the stairs on your left instead. At the top to the left you will see a cannon and next to it is a barrel with gunpowder and a cannonball sat on top of it. Take them both. Load the gunpowder, then the cannonball into the cannon.

Keep following the ruins round and you should find another cannon which is aimed towards the dock where Francesca met you as the private eye. Ignore this cannon and keep moving round (you can use it another time to get her to meet you there and when she shows up... boom!). On moving further round, you will find another cannon that is aimed at the golf green (again you can use this for another challenge, another time). Wait around until Silvio is on the green.

Shoot the guard that stands behind him in the head, then shoot Silvio in the leg. When the other guard comes to protect him, shoot him in the head as well. Silvio will run off and hide for a bit. After a short time, you should get the message that the target is escaping. Make your way to the cannon that you loaded earlier and wait. There will be a timer showing when he will escape.

Save here in case you miss.

At around, 9 seconds left, the plane will be flying past the tower in the distance. Fire the cannon and blow it out of the sky. You will need to immediately run away as the guards on this island will come running to you. I would suggest going some way up the tower in the middle (there is a guard at the top) and wait for them all to get bored and leave.

For hitting the plane and killing him the last of the three ways, you will get this achievement.

The Sapienza Trinity in HITMAN

Now you are almost done with Sapienza. Like with Paris, you will find that you aren't quite at level 20 mastery yet, but you shouldn't be too far off. You will need to start up a new playthough and complete a few more challenges to get there. These are some suggestions for the easier challenges to get you to level 20, but again you can look at the list yourself and pick something you want to have a go at. Bear in mind that as long as the notification saying that the challenge has been completed shows up, you can reload or even restart the mission. When you next complete it, the challenge will still appear in the completed list at the end. You do have to complete the mission at some point to get them to count.

Again, you may want to consider doing the escalation achievement below, first, as you will also earn some challenges in that as well.

When starting a new playthrough, always try to choose a new starting location. Also try to leave through an exit you haven't used before.

  • The Personal Touch. Kill both targets with the fibre wire. You know how to make them both sick, so kill them as they throw up.
  • Testeless, Traceless. Kill a target with lethal poison.
  • Straight Shot. Kill a target with a head shot.
  • Bogey and Walk The Plank. As mentioned earlier, you can kill them both with the cannons.
  • Investigator. Shoot the five blow up crocodiles. There are two on the main beach (best to shoot them from a balcony in one of the buildings), one is in the building near to the performer on the beach (enter the door behind the two nearby bodyguards and keep going up to find it in the hallway), one is in another building way off to the left of this one where a woman is stood outside (go all the way to the top floor and a gardener should come out of the room at the top - it is in the bathroom of this apartment), the last one is under the pier near where you met Francesca (where the rocks lead to the door in the cliff).
  • Man of the cloth. Pick up the priest outfit in the basement of the church. Just before the stairs that lead up into the church, there is a door to a small room. The outfit is in there.

Once you get to level 20, you will earn this achievement.

Amalfi Pearl in HITMAN

For the next achievement you will need to complete level five of an Escalation set in Sapienza. An easy one to complete is The Sigma Illusion which can be done in just a couple of minutes for each playthrough.

Start as Mansion Security on the roof garden. Then follow the video guide below, which can be adapted to complete the tasks for each level. The video covers level five of the escalation. The tasks are;

  • Level 1 - Kill Chef Marcello Ray in melee (snap his neck).
  • Level 2 - As above, but you must also hack the laptop in the mansion.
  • Level 3 - As above, but you cannot pacify anyone.
  • Level 4 - As above, but all bodies must be hiden within 90 seconds.
  • Level 5 - Mansion guards will see through mansion guard disguises.

Sapienza Escalated in HITMAN

A GUILDED CAGE

Welcome to Morocco. In the Marrakesh mission, A Guilded Cage, you have to kill two targets, General Reza Zaydan and Claus Hugo Strandberg.

Again, it is possible to do most of the opportunities in one playthrough, but as you will need to replay the mission to complete various challenges to reach level 20 anyway, I have broken them down into a few playthroughs to try and maximise progress for challenges. Again, for a couple of playthroughs, we will simply restart after getting the achievement we are going for.

When setting up the mission for the first playthrough switch the fibrewire for the lockpick. You will start in the bazaar. Leave the little room you are in and head left past the small truck. Once outside keep going straight ahead until you come across the couple talking. This will reveal the Open Sesame opportunity. To the left, just before reaching them is a small room where you will see a screwdriver outside and a wrench inside. Take the wrench and then go into the small shop just behind the couple. Sneak upstairs through the beads and as you get to the roof, equip the wrench. You will see the headmaster nearby. Throw the wrench at his head to knock him out, dump him in the nearby box, take his outfit, the headmaster's key from the table where he was sitting and the wrench. Follow the roof round until you can't go any further.

Here you will find a ledge above a wooden trellis. Climb up and follow it round until you can climb / slide down the pipe. When you reach the bottom, you will see a set of stairs nearby. It is the only way that doesn't have any soldiers guarding it, so go that way, making sure you are creeping. Don't take too long or some of the soldiers may see you.

Follow the path straight ahead (you may have to wait for a guard to turn around at the path leading to the left) and move round to the rear of the trucks. At the end you should find a door which you should use your headmaster's key to unlock. Throw the wrench at the soldier in the area to knock him out, then unlock the next door. Just leave him there as there is nowhere close to hide him. Don't take his uniform.

Go to the far end of this next area, keeping half an eye on the windows to make sure a soldier isn't leaning out. At the far end, there is a window that you can climb through. Wait until the soldier has walked away from the hole in the wall looking into this room and go straight ahead to a large hole leading to the next room. Here you will find two soldiers bad-mouthing the General with their back facing you. To the right of the small shelving unit is the intercom which you can turn on. Then quickly make your way into the previous room and to the left where you can climb the larger box and get into the bathroom above through the hole in the floor. You should have plenty of time to get up there before the soldier in the other room spots you.

On entering the school, still dressed as the headmaster, you will complete the Open Sesame opportunity.

The general will come into this bathroom to look through another hole in the floor at the soldiers. Make sure you are hidden somewhere so he doesn't see you (you can simply tuck yourself in the far corner by the mirrors or can hide out of the window). Once he leaves, go to the hole he was looking through and stand near the broken toilet by the edge. Wait until the General enters the room (not just standing in the doorway) and then kick the toilet to kill him. This will complete one of the challenges for this level.

Leave back through the hole in the floor where you came up, and go out the window quickly before anyone spots you. Head back out to the trucks, picking up the soldier's outfit on the way.

When you get to the trucks, head left and past the soldiers. Keep going straight ahead until you reach the main area outside the Swedish Consulate building (there will be large camel statues as you enter the area and a lot of people). As a soldier, you can walk straight through the front door. Head to the left (being mindful that the receptionist can see through your disguise). On your map you should see two rooms, a smaller one that you first come to and a larger one behind it. You need to go into the larger room. where you will find the massage expert. There is also a guard in here and a man that comes and goes. Turn on the TV to interrupt his phone call then follow him as he leaves the room. He will head to the room opposite. Crouch follow him past the table as a guard can spot you and as soon as everyone else leaves, subdue the massage expert. Drag him to the box between the two doors and quickly take his outfit. A guard may enter while you do this, but he goes the other way to begin with so you should be fine. You can now approach the reception desk to reveal an opportunity.

If you have a gun, you will need to conceal it in the bin in the bathroom (the small room next to the one where the massage expert was). Now go upstairs, getting frisked on the way, and enter the room where Claus should be waiting. Give him a massage and the guard will leave. After a short time, you will be able to snap his neck and will have completed the Golden Touch opportunity. Do this then leave through the front door, go straight ahead until you reach the market and head to the left. There will be an exit gate you can leave through.

On completing the mission, you will get this achievement.

Too Big to Fail in HITMAN
Complete A Gilded Cage.

Start the mission again. This time change the starting location so you are a waiter in the courtyard and smuggle anything you want to the consulate parking garage. On this occasion it's worth having the coins equipped.

When you start the mission, you will immediately get this achievement.

Careful Planning in HITMAN

Stop wiping the table and turn around. There is a door to your left marked 'Staff Only'. Leave through the next door into the street and turn right. Go straight ahead until you see the tables and chairs (not far) and take the left turn which is next to the garage with the blue door. Take the next right and you should find a man arguing with a couple of soldiers guarding his shoe shop. Go a little way past them, round the tree and truck, crouch and then hop over the barrier. Quickly sneak into the shop and immediately turn right. There are several coins on the counter which you need to pick up. Sneak back out and over the barrier. Now head back the way you came, to the door that you exited the restaurant onto the street.

When you get there, go past it to the other end of the alley. On the left, just next to the entrance to the Bazaar, you will find the beggar. Throw the coins into his dish and he will thank you. If they bounce out, I'm not sure if they count, so pick them up and try again. It is best to do this slowly, leaving a bit of a gap between each one.

Once he has received five coins he will get up and leave and you will earn this achievement.

Unfortunate Fortune in HITMAN
Demonstrate generosity. (Secret)

Now, head back to the shoe shop. Sneak in and hop over the counter. Be aware that one of the guards outside will come in from time to time, so make sure he doesn't spot you. In the courtyard at the back of the shop, you will find two soldiers talking. After a short time one will go through a door into a tunnel and the other will conveniently walk to the far side and stand with his back to you. Subdue him, dump his body in the box he is stood next to and take his uniform. Head into the tunnel, completing the Down The Rabbit Hole opportunity, and keep going until you reach the small room in the middle. There will be an officer in here that will see through your disguise. Distract him either by stopping the generator or throwing something behind him (preferably just round the corner) so that he walks away. You then need to read the APC turret codes on the paperwork on the shelf near to where he was standing. Once read, continue along the tunnel (not the way you came) and you will come out in the parking garage.

Ahead of you will be two guards talking. Just behind them, slightly to the left, is a staircase that leads up into the consulate. On the wall to the right is a fire alarm. Pull this and Claus will be evacuated. You don't need to hang around though, so head back through the tunnel, avoiding the officer, and exit the shoe shop. As you exit the shoe shop, turn left, then left again. You will enter a small courtyard with a well in it, and two guards next to some concrete barriers. This is the entrance that Claus will come to.

Go past the guards and follow the path round to come out by the APC trucks. To the right of the truck that is 'parked' part way through the wall is a small computer that controls the APC turret. Wait around here until the two targets meet in front of it. As soon as they are both there and start talking, set off the turret. Hide behind the other truck briefly as several guards come running in (the ones that didn't just get obliterated). When it looks safe to do so, leave the area going back to the courtyard with the small well. Turn right and go back past the shoe shop. As you reach the far side of the shoe shop courtyard, you should see an exit marker ahead of you. That is where we are going to go to. It is the starting point in the Bazaar where you started in the first playthrough. Turn left, then right and immediately right again to get there quickly and end the mission.

To make this next playthough easier, start the mission as undercover at courtyard bar again. Unequip your gun and equip the emetic poison vial.

Leave the restaurant through the main entrance and cut straight across the main market to the largest of the archways that lead to the consulate. Here there will be a TV crew waiting for a new cameraman, revealing an opportunity. Head back to the inner part of the restaurant where you started.

Go to the booth on the back left wall, immediately to the left of the bar. Be aware that there is a guy behind the bar that can see through your disguise and he will come and stand outside this booth for short periods. This is the booth that the camera man will come to so he can smoke. Poison the pipe and go to the restroom which is directly opposite. When the cameraman enters, subdue him, stuff him in the box and take his outfit.

Now head back to the TV crew, making sure you do not have any weapons.

Follow them into the consulate and eventually to the interview. When prompted, start the camera (the big one pointing at them, not the small one to the left). This will complete the Prime Time opportunity. The producer will mention doing something about the lights upstairs. Leave the room the same way you came in and head up the nearby stairs, getting frisked on your way up. You should see two doors in front of you. Use the one on the right which leads into a small room overlooking the interview. At the far end is a winch which you can use to release the moose, dropping it on to Claus, killing him. This will get another challenge completed. Leave the consulate through the front doors and once clear head right. Take the alleyway behind the camel statues and make your way back into the shoe shop. Subdue the same guard as the previous playthough in the rear of the shop when he is stood by the bin. Stuff him inside, take his uniform and leave through the front door, turning right and right again, going past the guards.

As you get to the top of the steps another opportunity should be revealed to you. Use the same side access as you did when dressed as the headmaster before, and climb in through the window at the far end, being wary of the guys in the next room that can see through the disguise. Get to the marker which is outside the room with the prisoner, and you will be tasked with getting an officer's uniform.

Get back to the room where came in through the window, but hide so they can't see you from the next room. Nearby, you should find a brick on the floor, or in the room where you turned on the mic previously, there is a pool ball. Pick up either and wait near the large hole in the wall leading to the two soldiers, one of which is an officer.

You now need to wait until the soldier moves to the window and the officer goes to drink. Throw the brick at the soldier, only if the officer is drinking. Do not do it if the officer is stood at the table in the middle of the room. Use your instinct (cn_RB) to check if you need to. Throw the brick / ball at him to knock him out then, QUICKLY drag him back into the room you are in and stuff him in the box. As the officer moves back to the table with his back to you, approach him and subdue him. Stuff him in the box as well and take his uniform. Make sure you're not carrying a large gun on your back by dumping them, or concealing them in the bin.

Keeping half an eye on where the General is, so you don't bump into him, approach the soldiers walking up and down the corridors and dismiss them. Also dismiss the one who goes up and down the stairs close to the prisoner's room. The less people around, the better. Wait until the General goes into the prisoner's room and then leaves. When he heads back upstairs, enter the room and dismiss the last guard. When he leaves, subdue the prisoner and stuff him in the cupboard. Take his outfit and sit on the chair. Now wait until the general returns.

When prompted, kill him and stuff him in the cupboard, completing the Bad Blood opportunity (the cupboard is optional). Put the officer uniform back on and head up the nearby stairs. Over to the left is a room with an officer who can see through your disguise. Go down the corridor to the other end of the room and wait for the officer to use the computer. When he walks away from it, approach the desk and take the keys to the truck. Leave the room through the same door and use the staircase at this end of the corridor. Leave through the front door to the left and approach the truck to exit the mission.

You will have earnt this achievement for completing the appropriate kills.

.50 Personal Touch in HITMAN
Assassinate Zaydan, as the prisoner, Strandberg during his massage, and both with the APC turret. (Secret)

To setup the next playthrough, start as undercover at the snail stall and equip the emetic poison.

Leave your stall and take the alley behind you to the right. Go all the way to the end until you reach the Bazaar, then head right into the small alcove by the yellow barrels near the two people that are talking about the headmaster. Take the screwdriver and then go all the way through the Bazaar to the next junction. Turn left and a short way down on the right you should see a basket with 'Free Samples' written on it. Use the poison on it then go back to the junction, turning left and going through the next Bazaar, then turning left at the end of that one. Next, take the first right and go to the end where you need to turn right again. This will lead you to a courtyard with a well in the middle (top left of the map if you are having trouble) and a printing crew.

One of the crew will walk off to put up posters. On his way, he will take a free sample and become ill. Follow him to the bathroom, subdue him, hide him and take his outfit. The head back to the printing crew. They will leave the area, so just follow them until the reach the school and go to the printing press. You will have completed the Why We Fight opportunity.

Now that you are here, go and get the officer uniform from the same soldier we did in a previous play through. It will be easier this time as the soldiers don't mind you being around. You can take one officer out as he approaches the desk while the other is heading to the window, then quickly take that one out as well. Hide both, take the officer uniform (not the soldier one - the officer has a red hat) and then head upstairs. Dismiss as many officers as you can to clear the area a bit, and you should be left with another officer stood outside the general's office. Get to the side so that you are behind him and go round the corner a bit, so that he can't see you when he turns round. There is a room with some other soldiers here with a soldier in the corner nearest to you. Wait until he goes away and then throw something over the boxes against the side wall of the general's office. (There is a peep hole roughly where you want to throw). The officer should go and check it out. Subdue him and drag him down the nearby stairs and dump him in the wardrobe.

If the General is upstairs somewhere, wait until he has been into his office and left again. Then go in there yourself. On the desk in the centre of the room is a document that will start the Honeycomb opportunity. Once you have read it and started the opportunity, head left out of the office and along the main corridor to the room at the end. On the table in the middle of the room (with water bottles on it) you should find the safe combination. Head back to the general's office and open the safe.

DO NOT use the phone yet. Leave it alone for now.

Head out of the school and get to the shoe shop. Use the tunnel until you get to the locker room in the middle. Here, use a screwdriver to pierce the oil drum next to the generator. Continue through the tunnel into the parking garage and up the stairs where we previously set off the fire alarm in another playthrough.

Exit the room and head right, then diagonally across the large room to the small toilet next to the room where you can find the masseus. Strangely, the safe combination is found on the floor in one of the cubicals. You need to get upstairs, but don't use the main ones by the foyer as the guards won't let you. Instead, head back towards the room you came out of from the parking garage, and go past it. Keep heading to the back of the building and you will find a staircase. Once you are upstairs, you will be trespassing, so be careful.

Enter the first room on your left, turn on the vacuum cleaner and hide behind the door. A guard should come in. Subdue him, dump him in the box and take his uniform. Head back out the door you came in and follow the main corridor round to the right, then left. There should be a cleaner at the other end. There is also a guard who can see through your disguise, so avoid him. To the right past the cleaner is a large square room with two doors (a single and a double). Pick the lock and get inside. Then enter the next, longer room. Approach the safe on the desk round the corner and then the phone on the long table. You either need to be quick, as a guard will come in, wait until the guard comes and goes again (or just take him out). As soon as you have used the phone, quickly leave the way you came, making sure to put the officer uniform back on as you go.

Head back to the tunnels and make your way to the general's office, making sure you don't bump into the general on the way. Use the phone in his office and make your way back to the locker room in the tunnel. The general and Hugo will meet there. Stand out of sight behind the general and when the patrolling guard is not looking, shoot the oil spill on the floor to set them both on fire, then, just get yourself to an exit.

You will have completed the Cherry Blossom opportunity and the Honeycomb opportunity, so you should have earned this achievement.

Tourist Attractions in HITMAN
Complete all Opportunities in A Gilded Cage.

You are almost done with Marrakesh. Again, you will probably find that you aren't quite at level 20 mastery yet, but you shouldn't be too far off. You will need to start up a new playthough and complete a few more challenges to get there. These are some suggestions for the easier challenges to get you to level 20, but you can look at the list yourself and pick something you want to have a go at. Bear in mind that as long as the notification saying that the challenge has been completed shows up, you can reload or even restart the mission. When you next complete it, the challenge will still appear in the completed list at the end. You do have to complete the mission at some point to get them to count.

Again, you may want to consider doing the escallation achievement below, first, as you will also earn some challenges in that as well.

  • When starting a new playthrough, always try to choose a new starting location. Also try to leave through an exit you haven't used before.
  • You can kill the general in his office with the oil lamp. Wait until he goes in to make the phone call, turn on the gas then shoot it.
  • Drama Queen. Kill Hugo by putting a remote explosive in the camera next to where he sits in the interview.
  • Dance Till You Drop. Go round the school dismissing everyone while dressed as an officer. They will all go out the back for a party.
  • Looking Through Walls. There are bullet holes in several walls in the school that you can look through into the next room.
  • Slam dunk. There is a baskettball hoop outside the school (in the same area that the guards have a party). Throw a ball through the hoop.

Once you get to level 20, you will earn this achievement.

Ancient Marrakesh in HITMAN

For the next achievement you will need to complete level five of an Escalation set in Marrakesh. These are missions that get progressively harder by adding a condition to each level. An easy one to complete is The Ignatiev Integrity.

Make the starting location to Undercover in Zaydan's Compound and equip the Lockpick then start the mission and follow the video.

  • Level 1 - Kill Jawwaad Reza in a fire
  • Level 2 - As above, but you also need to break into the safe in the Consulate basement and steal the contents
  • Level 3 - As above but you also need to kill Irfaan Haidar with a Shotgun
  • Level 4 - As above and hide Irfaan's body in the container in the garage parking maintenence room
  • Level 5 - As above and avoid all Securiy Cameras or delete the evidence withhin two minutes
  • Level 6 - As above but you must keep the outfit you were wearing on mission start, or you will fail the mission

CLUB 27

Welcome to Bangkok. In this mission you have two targets, Jordan Cross and Ken Morgan.

As with previous missions, it is possible to do most of the opportunities in one playthrough, but as you will need to replay the mission to complete various challenges to reach level 20 anyway, I have broken them down into a few playthroughs to try and maximise progress for challenges. Again, for a couple of playthroughs, we will simply restart after getting the achievement we are going for.

In set up, give yourself the lethal syringe and fibre wire. Make sure you keep your silenced pistol.

When you start your first playthough, head in through the main entrance and approach the reception desk. You will check into your room and be given a keycard (pick it up off the desk). Next, you can either ask the bellboy to the right of the desk to show you the way or head up yourself. Basically, you need to go to the back of this area and use the door at the far right. Head up the stairs twice and your room is straight ahead - room 205.

Once inside, use the phone and two hotel staff will come. Depending on the phone call, the guy will either go to the bedroom or the bathroom. Follow him, close the door and subdue him, then drag him away from the door and go back into the main room. The woman will then go to look for her colleague. Subdue her before she gets into the room, then drag her inside as well. Now take the guys clothes.

As I left, another member of staff came to check the toilet (in my case). This doesn't happen every time, but if it does, take them out as well, just so he doesn't find the other two.

Now, head back outside and find Ken Morgan. As you leave, he should be somewhere off to the left. He will make a phone call and then you can talk to him to tell him his room is ready. Lead him to his room, which is on the floor above yours. As you enter, all the other staff will leave. He'll walk round and inspect the room, so every time he finds something wrong, you will have to deal with it (wipe away a stain, pick up soda cans) eventually you will be in a bathroom and he will be happy. He'll look at the toilet and his bodyguard will leave.

For ease, save here.

You can get a few of the challenges out of the way here, by drowning him in the toilet, using the fibre wire, or lethal poison syringe, all of which will complete the On The House opportunity. Just reload the save each time to get them done.
Reload the save again, and wait for him to stop looking at the toilet. He will start walking around again, followed by his bodyguard. As the bodyguard cuts through the bathroom, subdue him and stick him in the cupboard. Then follow Ken around until he starts leaning over a balcony. You can now push him over the edge.

Equip your silenced pistol and head back into the room with the piano in the middle. We are now going to go round the suite shooting the golden elephant statues - you can ignore the silver ones. There are 18 in total and they will make a noise as you shoot them.

In this first room, they are;

1. On the second shelf up by the door leading into the bathroom.

2. On the long shelf above the windows, closest to the second window along.

3. On the top shelf of the bookcase on the wall opposite the door leading from the bathroom.

4. Same shelf, over to the right.

5. Below number 4 at eye level.

Head into the main centre room and go straight across so that you are on the opposite side of the suite. Look to the left at the bookcase, to find the next ones.

6. On the top shelf.

7. Below number 6 at eye level.

8. Slightly to the right from number 7, on the second shelf up.

9. On the long shelf above the windows. It is above the open window.

10. Directly next to number 9.

11. Slightly further to the right from 9 and 10 on the same shelf.

12. On the next book case, it is on the second shelf from the top, just to the right of the door.

13. On the same wall, slightly right and at eye level (above the small white table). This one is facing you and is more difficult to spot.

Go through the door in that wall, heading into the office.

14. On shelf immediately on the left as you enter, by the plant.

15. On the shelving immediately on the right as you enter, basically in the same spot as number 14, but on the other side of the door.

That's it for this floor, now you need to head upstairs.

16-18. When you get to the area between the top of the two staircases, take the door into the small shrine room (not the large room in the centre of the floor. Go through the door into the next room and you will see some shelving just to the left. The last three elephants are on this set of shelves. You may want to save, because there are a few member of staff in this room. Start by bumping into the maid closest to you. She will at some point, start cleaning the shelves that the elephants are on, so we need her out of the way. When she looks at you move into the corner so that the other members of staff can't see and drop a coin. Then walk away from it. The maid will go and check it out and you can subdue her. Just leave here where she is and go back to the doorway to the small shrine room. Now you can use the silenced pistol to shoot the three elephants.

This will complete the requirements for the Elephants Never Forget achievement, but it won't pop until you complete the mission.

Head back outside the hotel, and follow the first part of this video to get the waiter's outfit and some rat poison. It is worth noting the master key card that is picked up as well.

Now head back into the hotel and go to the floor below your room where there are two bars, one open and one guarded. Bear in mind that the waiter behind the open bar, and one that walks between the two can see through your disguise.

You have two choices here.

1. Wait for the wandering waiter to leave the back of the open bar, head back there, turn off the radio on the wall and when the other waiter goes round to check it out, head to the bar and put the rat poison in the glass. The drummer will come and drink it eventually (he doesn't drink on every visit to the bar). He will then go behind the bar to throw up in the bin. Subdue him and stick him in the freezer, the take his outfit. Keep in mind, that you are now trespassing, so leave through the door to the hallway.

2. Head into the other bar (they will let you in as a waiter) and go through the door on the left into another room. (You can also get to this room by going through the door opposite the stairs if you picked up the master keycard. Wait until the drummer goes to the balcony, then throw something in this room so he comes to check it out. Subdue him and take his outfit. You will have to leave him in the room as there is nowhere to hide him.

However you got the outfit, head downstairs to the main atrium and take the exit at the far back left which has a couple of security guards by it, (it is opposite the one you took to your room). Head all the way to the very top where you should get to an area with a large glass room in the middle. Jordan Cross is wandering around here somewhere. Go and approach him and he will ask you to follow him downstairs. He will then ask you to play the drums... Luckily, Agent 47 seems to be quite good. Jordan will then ask you to follow him to a private meeting on the roof. When he leans on the fencing, push him over. You will have completed the Man Machine opportunity.

Now you just have to make your wat to the exit at the end of the jetty at the front of the hotel.

You will earn these two achievements, one for finshing the level and one for shooting all the golden elephants.

Shining Bright in HITMAN

For the next play through, you will want the coins, a lockpick and a silenced pistol.

Start the next play through in the same way, by going to your room and getting a hotel staff outfit. Go back downstairs and into the atrium. We want to get to the staircase behind the two guards, but the hotel owner is there and she will see through your outfit. Instead, head towards the front desk and you should see a door to the right which also has two guards stood by it. Go through the door, turn right and go up the stairs at the other end. You are now behind the original two guards, and can go upstairs. Go up two floors so you are on the one with the bodyguards by the red rope.

Go to the room in the opposite corner where the door is open and a group of guys are inside. As you enter, turn right and go into the bathroom. The guys will start talking about a letter and one will come into the bathroom. Close the door, subdue him and drag him to the other end of the room. Try to hide him behind the bath so he isn't in sight of the door, just in case. Then pick up the letter he dropped and go back to the front desk, avoiding the hotel owner if she is still there. When you drop the letter off on the tray, be careful that one of the front desk staff doesn't' see through your disguise.

Ken will come and pick up the letter which invites him to a meeting in the linen room in the basement. Follow him as he walks past the two nearby guards and turns right into a room with a staircase. Once in this room, keep stepping in front of his bodyguard to slow him down so that Ken goes down the stairs but the bodyguard is still on this floor. When Ken is out of sight, subdue the bodyguard, and put him in the cupboard. DON'T just stand in front of the bodyguard and try to block him as he will become suspicious and Ken will come back. You have to bump him, walk away, bump him when he moves again, walk away etc.

Keep your hotel staff uniform on and head downstairs. Head to the linen room where Ken is alone, and kill him however you want (there is a challenge for killing him with the fire axe in this room). Then stick him in a nearby linen basket. This completes the Smoking Gun opportunity.

Now head upstairs a few floors until you are on the floor where the bodyguards are guarding the next staircase by the red rope. Go to the room in the opposite corner where you got the letter from and take the outfit of the guy you left in the bathroom.

You can now go upstairs past the red rope, but be careful as there are a few people that will see through your disguise on this floor. Once upstairs, go through the door straight ahead of you and round the kitchen and out the other side. Then go through the next door and up the nearby stairs.

There are two guys that can see through your disguise on this floor, one in the centre looking towards the far end, and the other is usually asleep in a chair so you may not have to worry about him.

There are two bedrooms at the other end of this floor and you will be trespassing as soon as you enter either of them. First go to the one on the left, which is Dexy Barrat's room. Go inside to find the safe, only to find that you don't have the combination. She has it on her. Now go to other room (with a guitar in the middle) and stand between the wardrobe and the door. We are waiting for Dexy to leave the room in the centre of this floor to make a phone call in the corridor. If Jordan Cross is there, don't throw anything. We don't want him coming in - you may have to wait an extra cycle of their walking patterns. When it is just Dexy, open the door and throw a coin just outside the room. When the doors close, move to the other side so that they are on your right. When she picks up the first coin, open the doors and throw another coin towards the door next to the wardrobe. She will come in and you can shut the door and subdue her. Stuff her in the wardrobe to be safe (and complete a challenge) and pick up the combination that she drops. You can now go back to her room, to the safe and open it. Take the USB flash drive.

Leave this room and go to the room in the diagonally opposite corner (unless by chance that the one at the other end of this side has no guards by it). You will need to pick the lock to get inside. Go through the adjoining door into the next room where you can play the recording on a laptop. Now sit in the chair and wait. You will automatically equip your silenced pistol.

When Jordan comes in and looks at the laptop, check the doors have closed and choose the option to shoot him. This will complete the Intervention opportunity. Stick him in the wardrobe by the adjoining door and exit into the next room (back the way you came) so you don't walk into the two guards outside. Now Make your way all the way back out of the hotel and leave on the boat again.

For the next playthrough, select the lethal poison vial and the coins. Also change your starting location to the security office and smuggle any item you want into your room.

On starting the mission, you will earn this achievement.

Scouting for Talent in HITMAN
Select a Starting Location and use an Agency Pickup to smuggle an item into Bangkok.

Walk over to the nearby Tuk Tuk to overhear a conversation. One of the targets (Ken) wants to buy it. Now go down the stairs near the Bug Swat van and through the door. Go through the door straight ahead of you and take the wrench in the middle of the room (a guy is probably kneeling by the tool box it is in). Before leaving the basement, you want to get a screwdriver. It can be found by going out the southern door and up a couple of steps. The is a guard with a flat hat here who will see through your disguise, so you may have to wait for him to walk off. Go through the door into a small rectangular area with a large wall in the middle. Go to the left side and the screwdriver is there.

Get back up to the Tuk Tuk and fix it. When the owner walks off to find Ken, pierce the oil barrel and walk way. You will have completed the Tick Took opportunity. At some point Ken will get blown up. You can either wait around to watch or, move on to Jordan.

Head into the hotel and into the atrium, turn right and find the area with an open kitchen. Go through the door at the back of it into the main kitchen, then head round to the right and through the door into a pantry area. You want to get the chefs outfit.

Throw one of the coins into the corner by the freezer where you'll dump his body. One of the kitchen staff will go and check it out.Subdue him, dump him in the freezer and take his outfit. Head back into the main kitchen, and take the cake topper in the middle of the room, while avoiding the main chef.

Now head upstairs to the floor with the bodyguards and the red rope. There is a room with a party in it just past them on the left. Go in and approach the cake to tamper with it. Put the lethal poison in, then add the cake topper. Jordan's friends will then call him to the party. You can either hang around to watch, or head out of the hotel to the boat. Once you have been notified that he is dead, exit the mission. You will have completed the It's My Party opportunity.

For the next playthrough, start at the security office and follow the first part of this video, to drop coconuts on both targets. The only difference you should make, is saving just before dropping coconut on Jordan. Then you can complete the Bug Man opportunity while Jordan is in the atrium by polluting the ventilation. You can then reload and kill him with the coconut (or do them the other way round, it doesn't matter).

For the last playthrough you should start in your room. The loadout doesn't really matter, but to speed things up, you could select the lethal poison vial.

From your room, head downstairs to the bar where we poisoned the drummer before, and blend in by drinking. A woman will approach you and give you her room key. Run back up to your room, but turn right and got to the room straight ahead of you at the end. The first door on the left inside is the bathroom. Change into the outfit on the floor in here. The go to the bedroom where the guy is asleep on the floor. Between the bed and the window is a mic. Grab this and leave.

Head all the way downstairs to the atrium, go straight across past the two security and all the way upstairs, being careful with anyone that can see through your outfit. You can go past the red rope, and get into the middle of the recording studio. You will find a guy called Wes at the main controls. Talk to him about the mic (you may have to wait briefly if he is busy) and he will tell you to swap it. Enter the small booth to swap the mic and go back to where Wes was.

You now have to mix a tune at the controls next to Wes. Just select any green button on each column i.e. not the red one. He will call for someone to get Jordan when you are done. Increase the voltage, using the box on the left end, and leave. When Jordan enters the booth, he will grab the mic and be electrocuted. You will have completed the Are 'Friends' Electric opportunity.

Now go and kill Ken however you want. If you equipped the lethal poison in the loadout, you could just poison the dish that we used to drop a coconut on him in the video. When they are both dead, finish the level.

You will earn this achievement for completing all opportunities.

Guest Starring in HITMAN
Complete all Opportunities in Club 27.

You are almost done with Bangkok. You will find that you aren't quite at level 20 mastery yet, but you shouldn't be too far off.   • Rubber Duck Sunday - Kill a target with an explosive device.
  • Hello, Who's There. Use the explosive phone to kill a target. Jordan Cross is easy for this. As he is about to leave through a door from the big glass room on the top floor, drop the phone just outside. Then call the phone and boom.

Once you get to level 20, you will earn this achievement.

One Night in Bangkok in HITMAN

For the next achievement you will need to complete level five of an Escalation set in Bangkok. These are missions that get progressively harder by adding a condition to each level. An easy one to complete is The Somsak Equation.

Start in the security office. Then follow the video guide below, which can be adapted to complete the tasks for each level. The video covers level five of the escalation. The tasks are;

  • Level 1 - Kill Tharn Srisai
  • Level 2 - As above, but you also have to kill Phet Rardchawat. Somethings have apparently changed, but you shouldn't notice
  • Level 3 - As above, but you also have to kill Naruemon Thanom
  • Level 4 - As above, but all bodies must be placed in the freezer
  • Level 5 - As above, but you cannot change your outfit

FREEDOM FIGHTERS


Welcome to the USA. In the Colorado mission, Freedom Fighters, you have a whopping four targets, Sean Rose, Penelope Graves, Ezra Berg and Maya Parvati. You then need to get into a tornado shelter (which is the easiest bit).


The first thing I will point out in this mission, is that you are in a hostile area from the outset, so try not to get spotted. Start with a lockpick.


When you start, stand up and head round to the right, staying outside the fencing. Keep going until you see two guys near a fire in a barrel. Wait for one to walk off, then quickly subdue the other (you can sneak up if he is looking over the fence or warming his hands on the fire). Pick up his gun and drag him to the nearby bailer where you can dump him before taking his outfit. Now head back the way you came, because the other guy will be walking back shortly and he will see through your disguise. A short way back there is a gate which you can unlock with your lockpick.


Go inside the compound and be careful as there are a few people that will see through your disguise. Make your way to the building that you can see on the map, due west of where you picked up this outfit (indicated by the outfit you left there - the building has a single staircase). Once at the building go inside.


You will find two guys in here. The one we want to get the outfit from is the Point Man. He has a limp and drinks from the water. The other guy will go to the sink at the end of the room. An easy way to separate them, is to wait for them to go outside and then overflow the sink at the end of the room. The other guy should go to sort it out. Once he has noticed it, go into the small bathroom at the opposite end (behind the couch) and overflow the sink in there. The Point Man should go to sort that out. Once he is inside, follow him in and close the door, subdue him and take his outfit. You can't hide him so leave him where he is.


Now leave and head to the large red barn / building. Talk to Maya Parvati who will be wandering around inside - she will be wearing a baseball cap. Do as she says, and head to the briefing area and blend in by sitting on a chair. Listen to the briefing and then head to the area with the cars. Before taking position, grab the crowbar from the back of the limo. When the exercise starts, shoot the four dummies in the limo. There will be a red line indicating where, but they are in a line from front to back. There is a blue one just behind the driver that may be more difficult to see, but the red line should point it out. Once they have all been 'killed' run to the back door and prize it open. Steal the briefcase and run to the stop button (like the end of level in the training missions) next to the car in front of the limo. This will stop the exercise and everyone will go to stand near the limo to debrief. Before you join them, go and turn off the safety feature on the battering ram (you may have to wait until they are facing Maya. Now move to the camera behind the limo.


If you use your instinct here, you will noticed that another target has joined us, Sean Rose. He will be looking into the limo. When he moves to the front, activate the button and the battering ram will kill them both. You will have also completed the Point Man opportunity.


Well done. Two targets down already.


Head towards the main house and you should see a couple of 'The Move' trucks, a single truck and one with a trailer. Go towards the shed that is in front of the truck with the trailer. On one side of the shed (facing away from the house) is a crate that we can use to store a body. Right next to this is a guy talking through the window to another guy inside. If Ezra Berg is inside, wait until he leaves. When the guy inside turns his back and walks away from the window, we want to subdue the one outside. He may turn away from the window as well, but after a few seconds, he will look back inside again. Subdue him, stick him in the crate and take his outfit. You may as well pick up his gun as well.


By this time, the guy inside will probably have returned to the window. Run all the way round the shed, so that you are on the other side of the window (if you run past the window, he will see through your disguise), then turn off the fuse box. As he starts moving to come and check it out, climb in through the window and hide in the cupboard opposite. He will soon stand directly opposite the cupboard to look at some notes. Exit the cupboard, subdue him, then stuff him in the cupboard. Pick up his gun, examine the notes he was looking at and take the key from the chemistry table. Also take the wrench which is opposite the chemistry table, then leave.


Head into the house and make your way round to the entrance hall. You should see a small door under the stairs that leads to the basement. With the key, unlock the door and go down, slowly. There is a guy down here that will see through your disguise. Sneak round behind him and subdue him, then stuff him in the box at the far end of the room near the other door. Approach the window where you can see the prisoner and administer the overdose. This will complete the Tongue Tied opportunity.


Head back to the shed and using the wrench, loosen the large gas canister next to the chemistry table before leaving the shed again.


Now start moving towards the large water tower. Before you get there, you will come across a 'The Move' trailer and an area with communication equipment. After a short time, there will be two guys that will try to work towards getting the equipment working. When one kneels down, go to the area behind the nearby scarecrow and turn on the tap. Get away from the area while he goes to check it out - for some reason he is very suspicious. Before he sorts out the tap, subdue him and stick him in the box next to you. An explosion will go off around this point, killing Ezra and people may be looking in this direction. Take his outfit and pick up the Interpol card that he drops - maybe that is why he is so suspicious...?


Go and find Penelope Graves. If you have trouble use your instinct to find her. Speak to her and you will arrange to meet at the slurry pit, which is behind the big red barn. Go there now, and head to the small derelict hut in the far corner. When she arrives, talk to her. After a brief conversation with Penelope, she will tell her bodyguards to clear off. She will then lean on the fence bordering the slurry pit. Push her over as soon as it gives you the option to be sure that no one will see you. You will have completed the The Audition opportunity and taken out the last target.


Next, head back to where you distracted the guy with the tap and switch back to the elite outfit or if you prefer, take it from the guy in the cupboard in the shed. Now head into the house and go upstairs. There is one guy walking around up here that will see through your disguise, so be mindful of him. Enter the room straight ahead of you when you reach the top of the stairs. There are two rooms here with a couple of tech guys here. One room has a large desk in it, the other has a 3D printer. Go to the 3D printer and when both guys are in the room with the desk, switch it on. Then go through the gap (door) on the left as one of them comes through the gap (large hole in the wall) on the right to check it out. When he loses interest, go back to the printer and take the mask.


When the coast is clear, head downstairs all the way to the basement. As you reach the bottom of the stairs, turn left. There is a door just on the other side of the pillar. Use the mask against the scanner and go inside. Check out the wall straight ahead and the one to the left, then the desk. The only thing left is to leave through the only door available.


You will earn the following achievements for completing the mission and for completing the specific kills from this playthough.

Unfortunately, all the remaining opportunities relate to Sean Rose, so I've added some other methods for killing the others, so that you get some challenges done.


For the next playthough, equip the lethal poison vial and the lockpick.


First, go and get the same initial outfit that you did in the first play through and hide his body in the baler. Then head back to the gate, unlock it and get inside the compound again.


This time head towards the building you did before to find the pointman, but go into the orchard, just north of it. You want to get into the small green house, which is shown as a small building in the large fenced off area in the middle of your map. Inside, there will be a guard sitting down with his head in his hands and on the table is a water bottle. Use the lethal poison on the water bottle (the guard won't notice). This will later kill Penelope Graves.


Leave the green house and straight ahead of you, you should see a covered area with a guard that can see through your disguise. On the right side of this is a generator which you can switch off to distract him. Turn it off and walk round the boxes to the table while he goes to check it out. Once he has moved past you go to where he was sitting and take the three nitroglycerine from the crate.


Leave the area and walk round towards the large red barn. Walk past it, and past the two trailers (one has a van on the back) until you get to the barriers that are guarded. Enter the door next to the large tyre, walk through into the next room where two guys are and climb out the window (they won't care that much). You will now be in a hostile area, so be careful.


Climb over the small metal fencing, and hide next to the yellow baler. When a guy (the explosives expert) comes and stands next to some of the straw bales, and turns his back on you, turn on the radio. Then hide back behind the baler. When he comes to check out the radio and turns his back on you, subdue him and stick him in the baler before taking his disguise.


While facing the radio, you should see a small open shack on the opposite side of this area. There will be a guy that can see through your disguise there. You need to go to this area and when the guy walks off to the right, approach the table he was at and over power the explosives mixture with the nitroglycerine that you picked up. This will complete the Overpowered opportunity.


Head out of the area through the guarded barrier and head into the garage next to the large red barn. Grab the wrench on the workbench at the back. Then head out the front and wait by the large fuel tank (on the side facing the red barn). Wait for the guy to finish his cigarette and go into the garage, then use the wrench to loosen the valve on the fuel tank.


You may want to save here, as the timing can be tricky.


If you use your instinct, you should see that Sean Rose and Maya Parvati are in the red barn. Sean will shortly go and get himself blown up. Maya will then come to walk past the fuel tank. Stand next to the guy, who should be smoking, and when Maya steps onto the wet fuel area, walk into her and then go slightly past her. She should stop to moan at you and turn to face you. This should delay her enough to get caught in the fire when the guy drops his cigarette.


Now head to the shed where you previously blew up Ezra Berg. Quickly take out the two guards. You may want to equip the wrench and hit the one outside. The other one should come out to check on him and you can run round the shed and hit him from behind as well. Quickly stuff them both in the box and get into the shed. Ezra should be almost there, so hide in the cupboard. When he passes you, exit and shoot him in the head. Now hide him in the cupboard and take the basement key from the desk before you go back out to the box to take an elite outfit.


From here, you just need to go into the house, get the mask, enter the basement and get to the bunker as you did before. You will have to deal with the guard in the basement on the way. Examine everything in the bunker and finish the mission.


For the next play through, equip the lockpick and fibrewire.


Get the usual outfit and enter the compound as before. Head straight to the garage and pick up the wrench, then head to the shed. Take out the two guys as before using the wrench (just for speed), dump them in the box and get into the cupboard inside. When Ezra comes in, take him out with the fibrewire. Hide him, take the keys and pick up the hallucinogenic drugs from the shelf next to the cupboard, then get the elite outfit from the box outside.


Now head into the house and straight upstairs. Turn left at the top (checking where the wandering guard is) and left again. You want to unlock the door to Sean's rooms. There is a guard inside, so wait until he heads to the window on the opposite side of the room to the door. Go in and take him out and stuff him in the wardrobe in the bedroom. Hide his gun in the bin in the bathroom (opposite the wardrobe). Go back into the bedroom and take the explosive watch battery which is on the desk by the bathroom door.


When the coast is clear, go back across the corridor to the 3D printer. Turn it on and head into the other room. Both guys should be looking into the room with the printer (if they are not already in there). While they are distracted, take the phone from the desk (it is on the left as you enter from the printer room).


Head back into Sean's bedroom, either through the door that you already unlocked, or through the bathroom if the guard is at the top of the stairs. Then go and hide in the cupboard. His bodyguard should come in and stand by the door, and after a short time, Sean will also come in. He will head to the bathroom and take off his watch, leaving it on the cabinet in his bedroom. While he is in the bathroom swap the battery, completing the Doomsday Watch opportunity.


You can unlock his bathroom door and cut back through to the hallway when the guard wandering the halls has gone to the back room. Pick up the 3D mask and head downstairs and out of the front of the house. Head round to the left until you get can see the small moss-covered shed. There are some cigarettes on the table just to the left. A guard will come and stand by these, so you will have to wait until he leaves.


Save here for ease.


Using the phone, send Sean an email. He will check it and get blown up, completing a challenge. Now just reload the save and wait for the guy to leave before lacing the cigarettes.


Head back into the house and mess with the grandfather clock in the hallway. If you are quick enough, Sean will come downstairs and notice the clock and go a bit mad. If he has already passed, you will just have to wait for him to do his next round. This will complete the Unclean opportunity, and earn you this achievement for completing all the opportunities.


A Feather In Your Cap in HITMAN
Complete all Opportunities in Freedom Fighters.

Follow Sean outside and watch him lose it after having a cigarette. He will eventually go into the small shed to wash and you can either follow him in or climb through the window on the far side before drowning him.


Now you just have to kill the other two and finish the mission.


Head to the fuel tank by the garage and keep an eye on where Maya is. When she is inside the red barn, position yourself under the scaffolding, equip your silenced pistol and aim at the rope holding up the large bale hanging above the door.


You may want to save here in case your timing is off.


When Maya leaves the barn, shoot the rope and it will drop the bale and crush her.


Now head towards the greenhouse, you should find a cooking area just south of it with a chef and a few guards. There is a gas canister here. Stand facing the gas canister with the chef etc in front of you (don't face it from the other side) and when they are looking away, loosen it. Then you have to wait for Penelope to walk past it (this may take a considerable amount of time depending where she is on her circuit. Stand just outside the gate to the south and equip your silenced pistol. As she passes it, shoot the gas canister and she will get blown up.


Now just go and finish the mission as normal.


For the next playthrough, select any other starting location and smuggle any item to a location of your choosing. On starting the mission you will earn this achievement.


Joint Operation in HITMAN

You are almost done with Colorado. You will find that you aren't quite at level 20 mastery yet, but you shouldn't be too far off. You will need to start up a new playthough and complete a few more challenges to get there. These are some suggestions for the easier challenges to get you to level 20, but you can look at the list yourself and pick something you want to have a go at. Bear in mind that as long as the notification saying that the challenge has been completed shows up, you can reload or even restart the mission. When you next complete it, the challenge will still appear in the completed list at the end. You do have to complete the mission at some point to get them to count.


Once you get to level 18, it is best to do the escalation below. This will give you enough points to get to level 20, but you need to be level 18 to start as a technician.


These are some of the other suggestions for the main mission.



  • When starting a new playthrough, always try to choose a new starting location (I know we didn't but you can start in a location, then quit out and choose a new one and so on to get them all very quickly).

  • Mowed Down. Kill Ezra Berg with the lawnmower - This is out the front of the house. Create an oil leak then shoot it as he walks past.

  • String Quartet. Kill them all with the fibre wire. (Get Ezra in the shed, Sean in his bathroom, Maya by the fuel tank by throwing something under where you took aim at the bale, and Penelope by the slurry pit)


Once you get to level 20, you will earn this achievement.


Mission Complete in HITMAN
Reach Colorado Mastery Level 20.

For the next achievement you will need to complete level five of an Escalation set in Colorado. These are missions that get progressively harder by adding a condition to each level. An easy one to complete is The Farley Crescendo.


Start as a Technician. Then follow the guide below, I couldn't find a video for this method, so you are stuck with a text guide I'm afraid.(If someone wants to create one, I will add it in and give you credit).


Where possible, you should try to leave through different exits, so that you get extra challenges competed.


For all levels I had the silenced pistol, fibrewire and lockpick.


The tasks are;



  • Level 1 - Kill Joshua Trumbo while dressed as a hacker


Go outside and when he comes out to smoke shoot the gas tank next to him.



  • Level 2 - As above, but you also have to kill Greg Barnes while dressed as a hacker


Go downstairs and turn off the server. The target will come to check it out. Kill him with your fibrewire and drag him behind the boxes. Go outside and shoot the gas tank when the other comes for a smoke.



  • Level 3 - As above, but you also have hack the laptop in the Tech area


Start the 3D printer to distract one technician. The other stays in the other room, but will face you. When he turns his back, subdue him and then quickly go and subdue the other. Drag this one close to the wall so that he can't be seen by the guard patrolling the halls, and then drag the other behind the desk. Hack the laptop then kill the targets as you did in level 2.



  • Level 4 - As above, but there are additional people who will see through your disguise and the laptop has moved to Sean Rose's room


Take out the two hackers near the 3D printer and hide them as before for ease later. Go to the door to Sean Rose's bathroom and pick it. Enter, and go through to his room. Subdue the guard in here, then hack the laptop. Go downstairs and kill the two targets as before. (The reason we want to take out the technicians upstairs first is because they will come to check out the server if they are awake).



  • Level 5 - As above, but you will fail if you use a Militia Elite disguise (This won't be a problem).


Do the same as level 4. You didn't use the Elite disguise anyway.


For completing level 5, you will earn this achievement.


Colorado Escalated in HITMAN

SITUS INVERSUS

Welcome to Japan. The Hokkaido mission is set in a mountain-top hospital facility. You have two targets, Yuki Yamazaki, who will be wandering around the facility and Erich Soders, who is lying in a bed waiting to be operated on.

All of the doors in this facility are automatic, depending on the outfit you are wearing, so a lockpick is completely useless here. You will unlock a hacking device which you have a limited number of uses of, but this guide will get you around without the need for one.

Another thing to note, is that until you reach level 20, you cannot start with anything equipped. After a few levels, you can start smuggling an item in, but again, we can get by without this.

You will start as a guest in the hospital under your usual alias of Tobias Rieper. Get off the bed, leave the room and turn left. When you get to the junction, turn right and head up the stairs. Go through the doors straight ahead of you which lead outside. Go off to your left and head up the hill. At the top, turn left and you will see a gardener crouching. If you are quick enough, crouch and climb off the ledge where there is a gap in the corner, then slide down the drain pipe. If you have trouble with this or the gardener has stood up, don't worry, just wait and he will walk off. Then go down the drain pipe.

Slide all the way to the bottom and go in through the window. On left side of the room, there is one bed that is open on the bottom row. Approach this and take the neurochip remote control. Leave the room and head left. Follow the corridor just round the corner and take the door leading to the stairs with the red lighting. Go upstairs, follow the corridor into a morgue area with two doctors in. You want to take the door on the left side of the room, which leads to a furnace room. The two doctors may have their back to you as you enter so you can go straight there. If not, you can use the trolleys to hide and get there in sections.

Turn right past the furnaces into another room with another two doctors (one is the curator). They will be in the middle of the room but will be facing the wall, so for now, go past them and into the security room at the far end. Disable the security cameras and check the notes on the opposite desk, then go back into the room with the curator.

Use the neurochip remote and quickly get back to the furnace room. The curator will go into a secure area where Soder's heart is, and ask them to leave. As soon as they have walked past you, head back into the room and quickly duck into the secure room before the door closes. If it does close, then press the remote again, so that the curator comes out, then press the remote again to get him to go back in and follow him.

He has two states, happy (when he wants to go into this room), and depressed (when he will walk off and after a time, throw himself off of a ledge). When depressed he will not care that you are in this room with him, although he will care if he sees you touch the heart.

With you both in the room again, press the remote to make him depressed and as soon as he turns his back on the heart, open the machine and destroy it. This will complete the Tell-Tale Heart opportunity. Now quickly catch up with the curator and press the remote again to make him happy (we don't want him committing suicide). He will have cut through the furnace room and should be somewhere between the large room with the other two doctors and the staircase. If you took too long, go down the stairs and he will be outside a door to the right when you enter the corridor at the bottom.

He will now either back track to that room or just stand still. Bear in mind he will now be suspicious of you. There is a room off of the furnace room you can hide in while he walks past if needed.

Head back towards the security room where you disabled the cameras and take the door on the left before you enter it. Go up the stairs and check your map before entering the corridor. There is a guard who patrols this corridor and we don't want to walk straight into him. When clear, enter the corridor and go left where the corridor slopes down. At the bottom there is a door which leads to a maintenance area. Go in here and adjust the temperature on the panel to the right of the window to the sauna.

The two guys will leave and at some point, Yuki will turn up. If she turns up before the guys have left, you will have to wait for her to complete another walk round the facility (takes a few minutes). She will tell her bodyguard to wait outside and enter the sauna. Go through the door to the left of the box then close and block the door, killing her.

You can now leave the sauna through the other door to the main spa. Go off to the back right of this room to leave the spa area (through some blue curtains) and follow this path straight ahead (with a slight bend) until you see te large ramp. Head down there, until you reach the cable car and use it to exit the mission.

For completing the mission (with a silent assassin rating I might add) you will earn this achievement.

A Long Time Coming in HITMAN
Complete Situs Inversus.

In the second playthrough, start in your bedroom again. Before leaving, head into your bathroom to the left of your front door. Take the pair of scissors which you will find by the sink at the back. Now leave, heading left along the corridor. Go right and up the stairs again, but this time turn right at the top and you will see a bathroom. Make sure you have concealed the scissors, enter and subdue the guest in here. Drag him into the stall on the right (the other has someone in it) and dump him in the cupboard.

Now, equip your scissors (no one seems to care that you are carrying them, and leave through the other door to the left of the sinks. Look round the corner to the left and you will see a 'Sakura Sushi' sign. We are waiting for the hospital administrator (with an obvious black wig and three chevrons on his back) to come from that way. As he reaches the area between the two bathroom doors, dip back in the bathroom, make sure the door is open, and throw the scissors somewhere near the sinks in front of the left stall. The administrator should come to check it out.

If when you leave the bathroom, the administrator is already stood ahead of you, you can stand by the sinks and throw the scissors to the left of the door (with the door open). Then pick up the scissors and stand by the sinks again so that when he comes in, you are obscured by the door. You can then throw the scissors again towards the right stall to get him to come inside far enough.

Either way, subdue him and stick him in the same cupboard as the other guy and take his outfit.

Leave the bathroom and follow the windowed corridor (with the outside area to your left. Go under the Gama sign and past the two guards. Follow the corridor to the end and then left up the slope. As you reach the top, take the stairs on the right and go up a floor. Turn right onto the corridor and move forward to the corner.

There is a guard round the corner that will see through your disguise and a doctor in the room ahead of you that will also see through it. Go into the room and the doctor will be somewhere at the other end, hopefully with his back to you. If he is sat down, facing you, wait until he gets up and faces the whiteboard. Walk about half way up down the room and when the doctor looks to the right (he just turns his head), run to the other end and go through the door on the left back into the corridor, but the other side of the guard (try to stick to the wall so he won't see you). Turn right and follow the corridor round to the left.

You can only take the door on the left here, so go into that room, move behind the seating area to avoid the guy seeing you, and go into the next room. There is a door in the centre here that leads to the K.A.I. room. Go inside and you will find four mainframe panels (one in each column) that you can sabotage. You will be able to sabotage two before the system reboots. When this happens, watch the screen in the middle which will show which order they reboot in. This will be different each time you start the mission, so pay attention to it, then sabotage them in that order. The system will then shut down and you will have completed the Ghost In The Machine opportunity.

Don't leave the main frame room just yet. The guard in the previous room will be walking through shortly. Wait for him to pass through and leave. You will see two screens ahead of you, overlooking Erich Soders. Use the one on the left and Erich will be killed by the operating machine. Now head back through the room you came in through and out to the corridor. Cut through the room with the doctor again to come out on the other side of the guard, and be mindful that the other guard will be heading along the corridor back towards the room with the seating.

Once you get back to the corridor, continue to the far end where it turns right. There are two guards here that will see through your disguise. One will go back into a room behind him, so wait until the other approaches the guard with his back to you and also turns his back. Now round the corner and go into the director's office at the end.

Take the nondescript access card from the desk, head back the way you came and take the first set of stairs on the right. Go all the way down and you will be in the room with the curator. Go to the other end of the room near the room with the heart and look left. Behind the end curtain, is a body refrigerator with a panel next to it. Use the nondescript card on it to let someone out. Finish the conversation to unlock another challenge and earn this achievement.

Flatline in HITMAN

Head into the furnace room opposite, and go into the next room with the two doctors. Turn right into the red stairwell, head to the bottom, exit into the corridor and head left. Follow it round to the right and take the first door on the right. Go and get the neurochip remote and head back up to the furnace room. Go and use the remote on the curator like before and while it takes effect, you may as well disable the security cameras in the security room. Wait until the curator goes into the the room with the heart and as soon as the guards start leaving, enter and press the remote again to make him leave (we don't care what happens to him this time). You will need to go and hide behind one of the curtains while he walks past as he will always be able to see through this outfit. Once he has left, destroy the heart to complete an extra challenge.

Now head towards the security room, but turn left just before you get there. Go up the stairs one floor and exit into the corridor. Turn left and go down the ramp, then follow the corridor back to the area where you dumped the director in the cupboard earlier.

Head towards the Sakura Sushi restaurant, but just before going in, take the stairs on the left. Just behind the two women at the bottom there are a couple of doors. Take the one on the right which after a short corridor, leads into the kitchen.

There are two chefs in here, neither of which will be bothered about your presence. Overflow the sink to your right then head to the other side of the kitchen. When one chef goes to check out the sink, go and subdue the other one. Then subdue the one at the sink. Put them both in the freezer box NEAR THE WINDOW. Don't use the one at the bottom of the stars as you may get spotted. Take one of their outfits, then pick up the knife from the centre part of the kitchen, before heading into the freezer room opposite the door that you came in by.

In here is the Fugu fish. Use the knife to get the poison and go back into the kitchen. Off to the left in the opposite corner of the room, you should find a door and some stairs. Ignore the door, take the stairs up. Now head across the room, (quickly as there is another chef who will see through your disguise) and go to the Sakura Sushi counter at the other end. Stand behind the counter, poison the plate of sushi on the right, then prepare sushi on the board to the left. Now wait for Yuki to show up. She will start talking to the other chef and can now serve sushi to her. Once she starts eating, leave and head to the left of the pink blossom tree in the middle of the room. On the other side is the door that leads back out to the toilets from earlier. You will have now completed the Thrill Seeker opportunity.

You will also earn this achievement.

Master of Old and New in HITMAN
Serve Yamazaki poisonous fugu fish and eliminate Soders with the robotic arms. (Secret)

Head down the stairs to the right and go back into the kitchen. Take the administrator's outfit again then head back up the same stairs. Head outside through the door straight ahead of you and cross the bridge. Head slightly left and into the door which comes out at the bottom of that sloped corridor. Head right and go into the maintenance area by the sauna. Head out into the main spa and turn right where you will see another door to a maintenance area. Go in there, take the door on the right and head down the staircase. If you look right you will see there is an outside area where you can use the snowmobile to leave. Just watch out for the doctor inside and the two guards that patrol outside while getting there. Use the snowmobile to finish.

For the next playthrough, start as the ninja and smuggle the fibrewire to the mountain path.

On starting the level you will earn this achievement.

Come Prepared in HITMAN

Turn around and take the fibrewire from the box behind you, then head along the path and down the slope. When you get to the area near the helipad, head right and then duck down behind the box on the right. Ahead of you is a maintenance man having a smoke. Wait for him to leave and he will walk onto the helipad. After a short time, he will head down the nearby steps. Follow him, subdue him and make sure you pick up his cigarettes. Drag him to the room on the left a bit further round the corner, being careful not to wake up the sleeping guard. Quickly stick him in the cupboard and change into the maintenance outfit, then wait for the pilot to come in (he may only be a few seconds behind you).

The pilot will ask you and the guard to leave. Step outside and wait. The guard will go up to the helipad and the pilot will turn to face the desk (to the right - use your instinct). When he does, enter and subdue him. Stuff him in the cupboard as well and take his outfit. Now head up to the helipad and stand between the helicopter and the three guards on the bridge to wait for the surgeon.

When the surgeon arrives, you will tell him to follow you. Lead him back to the room, subdue him and take his outfit. There is no room in the cupboard, so just leave him there. This will complete the Malpractice opportunity.

Exit the room and head left to go further along this path. Follow it until you come to a door. Go inside and follow the corridor round to the right. Take the first door on the right and take the neurochhip remote (for the last time for another challenge - then we can leave the heart alone). Head out of the room to the left, round the corner and take the red stairs up one floor (this should be familiar by now). Head through the room with the two doctors (both will see through your disguise) and into the furnace room on the left. Before going to the next room, go into the small room on the left (opposite the furnaces) and take the screwdriver. Now, go and use the remote on the curator in the next room (and disable the cameras in the security room if you want). Wait for him to get the guards to leave, use the remote again, hide behind the curtain, wait for him to leave and destroy the heart.

Now head towards the security room and take the staircase on the left just before it. Head up to the top floor. Turn right into the corridor and follow it all the way round to the end. Go in the door at the end straight ahead of you which leads into a small square room with a large computer in the middle. Use the screwdriver on the computer (on the right side as you enter) and leave the room. Head to the staircase just round the corner and go down one floor.

Before entering the corridor on this level, check whether there is aguard just outside that can see through your disguise. If there is, wait for him to wander off and patrol. Then head out to the right and go into the room directly beneath the computer room you were just in. Use the panel to the left of the window to turn off the life support machine, then QUICKLY get back to the room above and use the panel to the left of the window to overcharge the defib. This will kill Erich and earn the challenge.

Head back downstairs one floor and, while avoiding the patrolling guard, head round to the left. Follow the corridor round and down the slope. Enter the maintenance area and go through to the spa. Take the door to the right and head into the next maintenance area. Follow this until you go down the stairs to the area where a maintenance man is fixing the snowmobile to your left. Take the wrench which is behind him, then head back up to the spa and leave through the main entrance (with the blue curtains).

Follow the area straight ahead until you get to the large ramp and follow it down to the cable car. Turn right and pick up the lead pipe here. Now throw it towards the right side of the cable car while staying hidden round this corner, so that one of the two nearby guards. Once he goes to check it out and is sufficiently out of view of the other guard, go and subdue him and take his outfit. Drag him as close the the cable car as possible and into the corner (or dump him over the side if you prefer). Take his gun.

Head back up the ramp and take the corridor to the right. Follow this to the end where you will find a door with a few guards outside. This is Yuki's room. Go into the living area and replace the cigarette packet straight ahead of the two guys on the couch. Now go onto the balcony.

Save the game here for ease.

When the two guards are both looking over the edge, use the wrench on the gas heater in the corner. Now enter the bathroom just to the right of the front door and hide in here until Yuki comes in and finds the cigarettes. She will then go out to smoke, approach the heater and blow herself up (an off of the balcony). This will complete the No Smoking opportunity.

Now reload the save. Don't touch the heater, go to the opposite side and vault over the edge, so that you are hanging behind the solid panel. Now just wait for Yuki to turn up and order the guards off of the balcony so she can smoke.

You could re-save here to save waiting again.

Once the guards have gone, get back onto the balcony and sneak up to her. Using the gun you got from the guard, shoot Yuki in the head for a challenge.

Now reload the save again and after the guards go in wait for her to approach the heater, then take her out with the fibrewire and dump her over the side. You won't be able to leave through the door because her main bodyguard will see through your disguise, so vault over the balcony where you hid, and edge round to the neighbouring balcony. The guards might start to notice you, but if you keep moving and hop onto the balcony as soon as you can, you should be fine. You will have completed the Makeover opportunity.

Now leave through this room, heading left on the corridor and right, up the ramp past the two women. Turn right and follow the corridor round into the Gama facility and up the sloped corridor. Take the stairs at the top of the slope, down half a floor. There is a door that leads outside. Before going out, check where the two patrolling guards are. If they have gone down the slope to the right, then exit and head up to the left. If they are up to the left, you will have to wait until they pass you.

Follow it up and take the path up to where you started as the ninja. Once you reach the top, you can exit via the mountain path.

For the next playthough, start in Tobias Rieper's suite (the default start point).

For this first part, you want to be quite quick. Go into your bathroom and get the scissors, head out of your room, left along the corridor and up the stairs to the right. Go into the bathroom on the right as before and take out the patient. Hide him in the cupboard in the right stall. Now go out the door to the left of the mirrors and wait until you see the patient with the bandaged head. As he approaches, lure him into the bathroom by throwing the scissors (with the door open) in front of the sinks. When he comes in to check it out, close the door, subdue him and stick him in the cupboard, then take his outfit.

Now head out of the bathroom towards the Gama facility entrance. A woman will then escort you into the facility. Follow her and she will take you to a doctor. Go in to speak to him and sit on the chair in front of the mirror. He'll take your bandages off and be amazed that there is no swelling or bruising and walk off to the desk, conveniently with his back to you. Quickly check where the nurse is in the room you just came from (if she is heading towards you just wait a second until she is out of view) then subdue the surgeon and stuff him in the cupboard. Quickly take his outfit. If you are quick enough, no one will notice.

Go through the room with the guy doing press ups and then take the nearby stairs down one level, turn left and head down the slope. Make your way to the cable car and get one of the guard's disguises like the previous playthrough, using the lead pipe. Now head back up the slope and turn right in the main corridor. Head to Yuki's room at the end. If Yuki and her bodyguard are in the room, wait in her bathroom until they both leave. When ready, go into her bedroom and pick up Erich Soder's kill list from the desk, then leave the room and go straight up the ramp, turning right at the top and head back into the Gama facility.

Follow the corridor round and up the slope. At the top of the slope, take the first door on the right and take the stairs down one floor. Enter the room, heading right, go past the dead motorcyclist and take the door on the left into the furnace room. Turn left and wait until the two doctors in the next room are both facing the same way before entering. Quickly head to the door opposite which leads to a well lit stairwell.

Enter the room at the top and open the next door which leads into the room where Soder is. Head back to the door you came through and throw the scissors towards the wall opposite, then go back into the stairwell. This should cause the female surgeon to come and check out the scissors. When she has her back to you, go in and subdue her, then drag her into the stairwell. Pick up the scissors.

Now go and stand near the door that leads into Soder's room. The male surgeon in the room opposite should start becoming suspicious. Before the meter becomes full, move out of sight and he should get suspicious enough that he will come and check out where you had been standing. If it wasn't enough, try again. Once he is on the move, head into the stairwell. Once he enters the room, keep an eye on him with your instinct. Once he turns around to re-enter Soder's room, through the scissors to the same spot. He should now go and check them and you can subdue him as well. Drag him into the stairwell and take his uniform.

Now head back down the stairs, wait for the two doctors to face the same way and head back into the furnace room opposite. Go through the door on the right and past the motorcyclist, head through the door on the left and back up one floor. Take the corridor to the right and follow it all the way round to the end.

Enter the door with the two guards outside. Cross this room and enter the next one. There is a sloped screen on the left as you enter. When no one is looking, upload the kill list to the screen, then leave this and the next room, so that you are back in the corridor. Turn right and go outside to the helipad. Get the pilot outfit like before by taking out the maintenance man and hiding his body in the cupboard, then doing the same to the pilot. You can get them both without waking the sleeping guard by subduing them outside the room and dragging them in.

Once you have the pilot outfit, wait for the surgeon by the helicopter facing the guards. This could take some time depending where he is on his cycle. Lead the surgeon to the stash again in the room with the sleeping guard and this time let him take the drugs and head back to surgery. He will know that Erich is responsible for his father's death and go and kill him on purpose. Before leaving the room, take the maintenance man's outfit.

Now head back up to the helipad, but go towards where you started as the ninja. Instead of taking the path up the slope, take the path to the right that follows the building. Wait until the two guards patrolling are heading down hill as they will both see through your outfit. As you head down the hill, you will see a large snowplough, keep to the right of this and the rocks. The guards will get to the bootom, approach the building, then turn round and go back the way they came. Enter the building where they approached, which leads to the area where the maintenance man is fixing the snowmobile. Take the wrench from behind him and head up the stairs (the door on the left side when you have your back to him). If you see the yoga instructor on the stairs, knock him out with the wrench but don't take his outfit yet.

Head up the stairs and into the spa, then take the door to the left that leads to the sauna. You can enter the maintenance area from here and on the right is the valve controlling the cold water to the spa. Turn it off to make people leave. Now go and get the outfit from the yoga instructor. If you didn't knock him out already, just wait on that staircase. Leave him on the stairs.

Once you are dressed as the yoga instructor, go into the spa and wait for Yuki to turn up. Talk to her and offer a yoga lesson. Take her outside where you will find two yoga mats (make sure you read the yoga schedule for a challenge). She will stand on one, and if you stand facing her, you get the option to give the lesson. Follow the instructions and when prompted, kick her off the ledge. This completes the Hot Springs opportunity.

Now go and get the maintenance man's outfit again. You want to leave by going back outside where the snowplough was, head up the hill and get back to the helicopter which you can use as an exit.

For completing all the opportunities, you will have earned this achievement.

You are almost done with Hokkaido. You may find that you aren't quite at level 20 mastery yet, but you shouldn't be too far off. You will need to start up a new playthough and complete a few more challenges to get there. These are some suggestions for the easier challenges to get you to level 20, but you can look at the list yourself and pick something you want to have a go at. Bear in mind that as long as the notification saying that the challenge has been completed shows up, you can reload or even restart the mission. When you next complete it, the challenge will still appear in the completed list at the end. You do have to complete the mission at some point to get them to count.

When starting a new playthrough, always try to choose a new starting location.

  • Expert Marksman. Start as the ninja and smuggle a silenced sniper rifle to the mountain. Wait (for quite some time) until Yuki meets with the director on the bridge, then shoot her in the head.
  • Sniper Assassin. You could couple this with the marksman one, by going on to complete the mission without killing anyone else, without getting spotted and deleting the CCTV.
  • Armed And Dangerous. Smuggle a gun into Gama facility. Either take out one of the guards by the cable car to get his gun or smuggle one in somewhere, then get the outfit from the man with the bandages and wait for the woman to take you last the guards.
  • One Last Time Mr Soders. Stand at the end of Erich's bed dressed in the suit and he will just die. Just restart when you have done this as there will be a lot of guns fired at you. This video may help.

For the next achievement you will need to complete level five of an Escalation set in Hokkaido. These are missions that get progressively harder by adding a condition to each level. An easy one to complete is The Susumu Obsession.

It is best to wait until you are level 20 to start this so that you can have some equipment when you start.

The tasks are;

  • Level 1 - Kill Amos Dexter
  • Level 2 - As above, but you also have to kill Ikkei Tsutsui while disguised as Draxler
  • Level 3 - As above, but you also have to get the fugu fish poison.
  • Level 4 - As above, but the fish has moved.
  • Level 5 - As above, but you also have to kill Yamato Narita

THE ICON BONUS EPISODE

So, on to the first of the bonus episodes. We will start with The Icon, which is set in Sapienza. To find it, select Sapienza as the destination and scroll right. This mission is set in the square outside the mansion where a film crew is making a movie. The target is the lead actor Dino Bosco.

When setting up, switch the fibre wire for the lock pick.

When the mission starts, move straight ahead, through the barriers, head right and make your way to the cafe. Go to the right of the cafe and in through the locked door to the basement. Once inside, go through the door into the area at the bottom of the stair case. There is a door that leads out to the set. Open it from the side, so that you are not spotted once it is open and throw a coin into the room. Then take cover against the wall and wait. As the guard comes in you should immediately get the option to subdue him and drag him inside. The door should close. There is a box that you can dump him in, then take his uniform.

Once you have the guard's uniform, go through the door so you are at the edge of the set. Head right and round the back of the raised stage, then hop over the fencing. You now want to go to an area straight ahead of you to pick up a remote control. It may be easier to cut through the shop / cafe on the right so you can avoid the other guard that will spot you. Wait until he is in the corner looking away, then get back to the shop.

Inside the shop is an SFX crew member. He will eventually stand still by a large box, so subdue him and stuff him inside, then take his uniform.

SAVE THE GAME HERE.

Go back outside and hop over the fence. Turn off the generator and hop back over the fence, making your way round to get onto the stage. The SFX guy who comes to check on the generator will be able to see through your disguise, which is why we have to go all the way round. If, for some reason the other guy goes. Just do it again. Use the laptop to enable manual detonation. Leave the stage and move round to the set side, so that the stage blocks you from the view of the SFX guy when he comes back. Equip the remote and wait until Dino says 'action' and starts running. As he passes in front of the large boulder and starts to jump, pull the trigger. The explosion should kill him, completing the An Explosive Ending opportunity.

Leave through the nearby fencing past the white van then follow it round to get to the exit.

On completing the mission, you will earn this achievement.

A Night at the Movies in HITMAN
Complete The Icon.

For the next playthrough, you can load up the save point just after getting the SFX guy's uniform. Take the screwdriver which is near the door at the back of the shop, then head back through the shop to the area that you got the remote from earlier. Be aware that there are a couple of guys back here that will see you in this uniform. As you leave the shop, note the ladder on the left. Go past the archway and you will find a laptop that controls the pressure plate. There is an SFX guy that comes and stands nearby that won't see through your outfit. When he goes to the far end to stand near the guard, use the laptop and quickly get back and up the ladder. At the top there is a control box that you need to sabotage. You have to be fairly quick here as the SFX guy comes to turn it off. If he does before you sabotage it, you need to do it again.

Once you have sucessfully sabotaged the box, head back to the laptop that controls the pressure plate. When Dino shouts 'action' use it and he will be flung into the mouth of the giant robot thing and be torn to shreds. Then get to the exit. This will have completed the Somthing To Chew On opportunity.

For this play through we will complete the last two opportunities together. First head past the cafe and in through the basement like we did in the first playthrough. Head all the way up the stairs until you get to the hippy signs and unlock the nearby door. You can disable the security cameras in here if you want a better score. Just inside the door is a fire extinguisher. Go back to the stairs and throw the fire extinguisher towards the other door by the signs. Then head back into the room and wait. The security guard will come and check it out. Subdue him and drag him into the room where you can dump him in a box. Do this again to bring the crew member down and dump him in the box as well, taking his outfit.

Head downstairs and outside into the stage area. You need to head towards the left and the larger trailer at the back. There is a member of crew here wandering around who will see through your disguise and annoyingly he stands in right where you want to be from time to time. Wait until he moves away and while crouching, move round to the controls where you are given the opportunity to interrupt the shoot. These are in front of where the crew member stops to leave on the trailer.

Once you have interrupted the shoot, move away before being spotted and get back to the door to the stairs to be safe. This will have completed the Time To Meet The Fans opportunity.

Next, head back upstairs and change into the security outfit before coming back downstairs. Now go into the shop behind the small stage (its the same one we cut through in the first playthorough). Wait until the guy leaves and approach a clipboard on the yellow box. This will start tracking the opportunity. Open the box with the lockpick and take the canister. Now head back upstairs and switch back to the crew outfit again (I know annoying right?).

In the centre of the set there is a large green canister that you want to use the small canister on. Just be careful of the two guys that can see through your disguise. Put the cannister in to complete the Light My Fire opportunity, and earn this achievement.

Touring the Film Set in HITMAN
Complete all Opportunities in The Icon.

Now it is just a case of waiting because Dino is talking to his fans. When he leaves and goes back to shooting, the green robot will set him on fire. Leave through an exit and you will have earned this achievement.

For the last achievement in The Icon, I would suggest following this video. This is for completing the suit only and silent assassin challenges. This achievement can also be obtained in the A House Built On Sand bonus mission, but it is very quick doing it on this map.

A HOUSE BUILT ON SAND BONUS EPISODE

In this bonus episode, which is found under the Marrakesh menu, you have two targets, Kong Tuo-Kwang, who is in the main restaurant/country club, and Matthieu Medola who is wandering around the market. You also need to pick up some documents that Matthieu has.

For the first play through we are going to knock out a couple of opportunities in one go. Start by heading to the fortune teller's place which is the small room that sticks out at the very top of the map. You get there by cutting across the main market, stay to the left of the restaurant and it'll be straight ahead of you. When you get there, head into the small alley / alcove to the left and wait for a woman to come and stand here to look at her phone. As soon as she is gone, flick the switch to cut the power and leave the alley. The fortune teller will come and check out the switch. Subdue him and stuff him in the box, but do not take his outfit yet.

Next, head to a carpet shop on the left side of the main market. You should be able to see the staircase on your map. When you get there, some people will be talking about the shop being closed for a private viewing. After their conversation, they will all walk off but a woman will come over. She will say that they are closed then open the door and stand just inside. You want to stand to the right slightly, so that as she moves away, you can step inside before the door closes. Then crouch and sneak up the stairs to head to the roof. Pick up one of the nearby bricks before jumping over the small wall.

Throw a brick into the middle of the large area and pick up another brick from this side of the wall. A woman will likely come down so knock her out with the brick, then drag her to the box. Grab another brick and throw it at the bodyguard to knock him out. Pick up the key that he drops and dump him in the box as well. Take his outfit and leave the shop.

Go to the back door of the restaurant which is down the right hand side from the market, and unlock the door with the key. Change into the waiter outfit which is in one of the lockers. Then leave into the main restaurant.

Here, you need to get behind the bar and increase the water flow. Be careful not to get spotted by the waiter that can see through your disguise who is doing laps of the area. Once you have pressed the button, go to the opposite corner of this area into the bathroom. In here you will find a wrench you should take. Then scale the pipe and get to the winch for the large star above the pool. You will have to wait a while, while Kong moves around. When he stands at the end of the pool (in the flooded area), drop the star in the water and electrocute him. This will have completed the Gone Shopping opportunity.

Go back down the pipe and leave the restaurant however you like, then go and get the fortune teller's outfit. Remember to wait until the woman with the phone leaves if she is nearby. Head into his shop and sit down to listen to his client. When you reply to him he will leave. Now go and find Matthieu. He probably won't be too far. Talk to him, and he will follow you back to the fortune teller's shop. Once inside, turn up the smoke machine which is on the floor on the right as you enter, so that no one can see into the shop. Sit down and kill him when you get the option. Dump his body in the cupboard at the back and make sure you pick up the documents. This will complete the The Future Foretold opportunity.

Now just make your way to an exit to finish the mission earning you this achievement.

Moroccan Nights in HITMAN
Complete A House Built on Sand.

For the next playthrough, make sure you equip some lethal poison when setting up. Coins will also be useful.

When you start, go and get the bodyguard outfit like we did in the first playthrough. Then, head up the left side of the restaurant a a short distance (as if heading to the fortune teller) and just past the bananas, you should see a set of green doors with a couple of other bodyguards inside. Go in here and get to the roof. Be aware that there is a bodyguard who can see through your disguise. We are going to take him out first. Head up the first set of stairs to where this bodyguard and a waiter are. Head right and you should see controls for the sound system on the wall. Switch it off then walk round so that you are behind the bodyguard as he check it out. Subdue him, then go and quickly subdue the waiter. Drag them both back down the stairs and dump them in the box. Make sure you pick up the gun that is dropped. Now, you need to distract the guard that is in the next area. Throw a coin and when he goes to check it out, subdue him and dump him in another box. Pick up his gun, and the walkie-talkie that he drops. You can now go and poison the large pipe in this area (not the one where the waiter was).

Leave and go to find Matthieu. Talk to him and he will follow you. Get him back to the rooftop and you will complete the Waiting For The Man opportunity.

Get to the area where the waiter was stood and use the walkie-talkie. Then crouch so that you are hidden when the others arrive. Wait around and eventually they will both use the pipe and die. The bodyguard that came with Kong will go over to them and stick them in body bags. When he leaves with the first one, go and pick up the documents and exit the mission.

You will have earned this achievement in this playthough.

A Series of Unfortunate Events in HITMAN
Eliminate Mendola with the crystal ball, Kong in an electrocution, and both by poisoning the pipe. (Secret)

For the last playthrough head to the front door of the restaurant where the two guards are blocking the exit to the VIP area (where Kong is). A guy with a beard will come out and make a phone call and then walk off to collect some rent. Follow him until you get to an area with a forklift truck. The bearded guy will go into the shop. When he does, go and set the alarm off on the forklift, then hide behind the car. When the shopkeeper turns the alarm off, throw a coin into the alcove and then subdue him when he goes inside. Dump him in the box and take his outfit. Wait outside the shop until the woman inside has her back to you, then head in and subdue her. Take the key from the counter and unlock the door before heading into the back room and taking out the guy with the beard. Pick up his invitation and if you want to be neat you can dump him and the woman in the box. Go and switch back to your suit.

Now head to the restaurant and show the invitation to the two bodyguards. On entering, you will complete the Rent Due opportunity and earn this achievement.

A Golden Opportunity in HITMAN
Complete all Opportunities in A House Built on Sand.

You can finish the mission however you want if you want to save any challenges.

LANDSLIDE BONUS EPISODE

So, onto the Landslide bonus mission, which you will find under the Sapienza menu. Here you have to kill Marco Abiatti, who is running for mayor.

There is only one starting location, down on the beach. Unequip your gun and switch out your coin for the lock pick.

When you start you will be watching Marco do some photo shoot on the beach.Turn left and head all the way up the hill to the area where Rocco the new chef was being shouted at in the original Sapienza playthrough. There will be two bodyguards talking. Listening to them will reveal an opportunity which you should track. When they walk off, go across the square to the toilets under the cafe. If you look towards the fountain from where the bodyguards were talking, it will be just behind it. You want to be quick and reach the toilets as the guard in the white shirt comes out.

As you enter the toilets, there is a fuse box on the pillar just inside. Flick the switch to turn off the light and as one of the guys goes to check it out, approach the cubical door closest to the other guy. Pick the lock and enter, closing the door behind you. The lawyer is in here. Punch him (using cn_X) to knock him out and take his outfit. This is one of the best disguises

Dump the lawyer in the box and leave. You will be prompted to approach the bodyguards outside and to the right. Follow them upstairs. When you enter the room, take a seat on the sofa straight ahead to blend in as the lawyer. If you forgot to unequip your gun, you can dump it in a trash can in the bathroom (the door next to the fire extinguisher), then sit down. After a while another bodyguard will enter and you need to be frisked before entering the next room.

As you enter this room, you need to sit down on the nearest armchair to blend in as the lawyer. If you don't, Marco will immediately see through your disguise. He will talk to you for a while and eventually send his bodyguards out of the room. He will then approach the desk and stand with his back to you. Approach him from behind and hit cn_A to push his head down on the pen, killing him. Dump him in the box and leave. You will have completed the Above The Law opportunity.

Make your way back downstairs and outside, heading right, then immediately left. You can follow this round until you get to the exit with two guards outside. Leaving will finish the mission, earning you this achievement.

Bravissimo in HITMAN

Restart the mission and head left up the street towards the VW Beetle and the bollards. Just before the bollards is a blue van on the right. Crouch and hop over the fence too the left of it and head straight to the end behind some boxes. There is a stage crew uniform here for you to take. Now head back to where you started.

Make your way along the dock where you will find a small wooden pier at the end. Just before stepping onto the pier you will see the photographer's phone, prompting you to start an opportunity. Check it out to track the opportunity and then go onto the pier. You should see the controls for the fireworks and a toolbox. Take the screwdriver from the toolbox and sabotage the fireworks.

Turn around and start leaving the dock. You need to make your way across the beach so that you are under the arches with the red canopies above them. Go into the tunnel and take the first left which should be a staircase to get up to the floor above. When you leave the staircase, you will be under the red canopies. Turn right and go up the stairs behind the bodyguard, but stop half way and crouch. Straight ahead of you is a guy that can see through your disguise. When he turns to face right, you need to get between him and the desk while still crouching, and take the remote control. Leave the way you came and head back to the other side of the beach so you can follow the photographer. Try not to get too close to him or he may change his route. It is best to stay roughly where you started.

After a while he will walk to the other side of the beach, past the stage and down the steps. Once he is down the steps, he will approach a drinks machine. When he does, walk past him, bumping into him and go into the small area to his right. Somewhere in the middle, drop a coin and take a step forward. The photographer will come to take the coin. You can drop another coin if you need to, to get him nearer the box at the back. Once you are happy that no one can see you, subdue him, dump him in the box and take his outfit.

Find Marco and tell him you are ready to take photos. Then go back to the pier and take the camera. Wait until Marco is at the very end of the pier before setting off the fireworks to kill him. As soon as he gets blown up, run back to where you started, before the nearby security guard gets suspicious of you. Then make your way to the exit. This will have completed the Dynamite Smile opportunity.

Start up a new playthrough and this time head up the main street towards the VW Beetle and the bollards, but turn left. A short distance along this road, just past the bike there is a couple talking which will reveal an opportunity. Once you are tracking it, continue to the end and to the left, so that you are looking down into an area with a white van. You will see a woman standing around in the area. When she moves away, jump down towards the front of the van and crouch. Keep watching the woman and when she walks further away, approach the van to turn off the webcam, then climb back up and sit on the bench to blend in. Marco's assistant will eventually walk past you and fix the webcam. When he and his bodyguard leave that area, you need to follow them, fairly close behind, as they will go in through a locked door. When you follow them inside, move to the right so they don't see you.

As they go round the corner, get towards the top of the first lot of steps and throw a coin into the corner. The bodyguard will come down to check it out. Take this opportunity to subdue him while the assistant heads upstairs. Make sure you pick up everything that the bodyguard drops, including the apartment key. Take his outfit and dump him in the box on the next landing. Then head to the top and into the apartment. Knock out the assistant and dump him in the bathroom out of the way.

Check Marco's schedule next to the bed and then use the communication equipment to reschedule the meeting. You might find that it shows him as being unavailable. This is probably because he is drinking at the bar or something, so you will just have to wait a short time. Once the meeting is rescheduled, you will complete the Cheat Sheet opportunity.

As this point it is up to you whether you finish the mission or restart. Either way the opportunity is marked as complete.

When you start your next playthough, head to the right down the dock towards the pier, but stay to the right side of the wall, so you are on the lower path. When you get to the end you will see a tap. You want to turn this on when the crew member is stood nearby so that he comes to check it out. If he is on the pier or moving away, the guard will check it out instead and you will have to do it again. Once you have turned it on, head a short way back up the dock and jump over the wall onto the higher path. When the crew member goes down the steps, run onto the pier and take the screwdriver, then quickly leave before he notices. You now want to go and get the crew outfit by jumping over the fence by the bollards like you did in a previous playthough.

Once you have the outfit, head behind the stage, being careful not to be seen by the one crew member who can see through your disguise. Get onto the back of the stage and sabotage the wiring there. Then leave the stage and stand in the area between the wall and the blue sheet, so that you can listen to the conversation between the two other crew members.

This is a good place to save in case you get spotted in a minute.

As soon as they finish talking and one moves away, bump into the one closest to you and move back between the wall and the blue sheet. Drop a coin and continue round to the other side of the blue sheet. When he goes to check the coin out, go to the valve near where they had the conversation and release the water pressure.

Now, quickly run back out of this area and you will see a member of crew stood with a microphone to his left and some controls to his right. Approach the controls and turn on the mic. Then stand at one of the boxes nearby where there is a clipboard that you can use to blend in.

When Marco goes on stage, head to where the crew member who could see you earlier was standing, and you should see a laptop. Use this to electrocute Marco, then leave. This will have completed the Stage Fried opportunity.

So, time for the last playthough. Make sure you have the lockpick selected.

Begin by making your way to the front of the church, then head between the church and the morgue. Go all the way round the church until you find the back door and head inside. There will be a guy in the centre at the bottom of the large staircase. You can try to distract him by throwing a coin, or run past him and into the first curtain area onto the balcony looking out over the church. There is a priest in here. Subdue the priest and drag him to the end furthest away from the curtain end before taking his outfit. The guy at the bottom of the stairs may have spotted you and come up a short way, but he shouldn't come through the curtain.

Head back down the stairs, and this time be careful not to get spotted by that guy. He will do some cleaning at some point, so sneak down the stairs and subdue him. You can put him in the nearby box. Then head into the main church and out through the front. Be aware that there are a couple of guys in here that can see through your disguise. You need to find Marco. If you are lucky, he should be somewhere out the front of the church. Talk to him and head in for confession. Go and sit in the booth on the right. He will go into the left one.

After confession, he will ask to meet you on the roof. Head up there and go as far as you can (past the winch). Wait for Marco to join you (you may need to go down one level if he stands around waiting for you to prompt him to come up). Once at the top, he will lean on the railing. Push him off to impale him on the church spire. This will complete the No Absolution For The Wicked opportunity and you will earn the following two achievements.
