Ultimate Achievement World
Some devices have had their support ended in Oct 2020 and did not receive the 1.16.100 update. Therefore leaving those devices on versions 1.16.0 to 1.16.40. You can read the official article here. If you affected by this, use either the Gear VR or Windows Phone walkthrough for information specific to those devices.

Hello, and welcome to the walkthrough for Minecraft. At first, this game might look like a tough completion, because of the number of achievements and it's high ratio's. However, completing the game requires a maximum of about 4 hours of active game time. Most of the achievements can be unlocked in about two hours, but there are just some that will take a bit longer.

We'll only be using one achievement world for completing this game. There are three options on how to play on this achievement world. You can either play it on a Dedicated Server (Hosted by BulletLukey), Realm (Hosted by Itzz Sh0wt1m3), or you can download it yourself and play it locally.
Minecraft Bedrock supports cross-play. So you can host/join this world on any Bedrock device variant.

If you want to play it on the Dedicated Server:

Server Address: MinecraftAchievements.net
Port: 19132

If you want to play it on the Realm:

Invite code: 4_FRkZ3uo_M
Direct Game Invite:
http://www.Realm.MinecraftAchievements.net

If you want to play it locally:

You can download it by using this link: http://www.Download.MinecraftAchievements.net
(Download the world labeled 'Ultimate Achievement World'.)

On the next page, I will explain a bit more about Dedicated Servers & Realms. I will also explain how to connect to them and how to load up the world locally (including the invite/permission error for realms).

Old worlds for those interested:

Discord Server:

Before we get started on the hints and tips, we would like to mention that we have a discord server for the achievement world.
If you are confused about something or need help, you can ask there. You can post feedback by reporting any bugs or issues with the world or posting any suggestions you would like to see added. You can also just have a friendly chat with other Minecraft achievement hunters.
We will also post updates on it (like if we update the world for new achievements). Here is the invite link to the server: http://www.Discord.MinecraftAchievements.net. The Site Rules also apply there.

About this World:

● This world is structured to have a section for each update that had a specific set of achievements release in it. The walkthrough follows this structure, so due to this, there may not be a DLC pack for each update on some variants. However, you can filter these updates on the achievement page by using the Grouping feature in the 'Filter' drop-down.
Here is the layout of the achievement land, and where the updates are:

Update Locations (1.16.0)
There are four different color signs you will see in the world:
Oak Signs are for achievement names and descriptions, or info directly related to getting the achievement. E.g. Instructive Signs and Command Blocks.
Jungle Signs are additional information or tips that can help you get the achievement.
Birch Signs are for achievements that are buggy in a positive way. Meaning you can perhaps unlock it earlier than intended.
Acacia Signs are for achievements that are buggy in a negative way. Meaning that it may not unlock when it is supposed to.
You're invincible in this world, so you don't need to wear any armor. However, if you do wear armor, this negates the invincibility, and you can take damage.
There are quite a few achievements that have designated areas to spawn mobs in. When using these areas, you can close the gates to stop the mobs from escaping.
This world has been designed in a way for both online & offline play.
● This world uses Allow & Deny blocks. Meaning when playing on the Dedicated Server or Realm some areas won't be able to be built or mined on. This is to prevent griefing of the world.
● If playing on the Server/Realm, you will be in Adventure mode. This is to prevent griefing of the world. You will still be able to unlock the achievements just fine.
● There is an auto-teleporting feature that you can use if you get lost or stuck. However, a player must be at the achievement land for this to work (as the chunk needs to be loaded in). To do this open your inventory and take out the Bottle o' Enchanting (this constantly refills), and throw it at your feet to get experience, when you reach level 30 you will be teleported to spawn.
This world was created without any 3rd Party Tools, Mods, or Hacks.

Buggy/Host Only/Broken/Discontinued Achievements:

This game has a habit of making buggy, host-only, or broken/discontinued achievements in updates. So if you're playing on an earlier version, you may experience issues unlocking achievements. As of 1.16.100, there are no host-only achievements, but there are 2 broken/discontinued achievements. There are also eight known Buggy- achievements. However, playing as the host may make these achievements less buggy.

The 2 broken/discontinued achievements are:
It's a Sign! & Renewable Energy.

The buggy- achievements are:
Passing the Time, The Beaconator, Super Sonic, Castaway, Me Gold!, Where have you been?, Fruit on the Loom, and Sound the Alarm!.

Controls

There are three types of control inputs for this game. Controller, Keyboard & Mouse, and Touch. This walkthrough is written in a way so any control input can be used. Please familiarize yourself with the input that you are using so you know how to do certain actions, as the actions will be referenced in the walkthrough and not the button itself.
Note: Not all inputs are supported for every variant. And it may differ depending on your software and hardware.

Device Variants Extra Information & Specific Issues:

To be able to buy & play the Kindle Fire variant on Andriod mobiles, you need to download the Amazon Appstore App APK and install it manually on your mobile. This is the link to download: https://www.amazon.com/androidapp. You need to view that on mobile to download it, as viewing it on a desktop computer will load a page telling you to go there on your mobile. Alternatively, you can try this direct download link: https://amazonadsi-a.akamaihd.net/public/ix/stable/DLP/1/Amazon_App.apk
In order to install this app on your mobile, you will need to enable 'Unknown Sources' for app installations (Allow installation of apps from unknown sources). This setting is located in your security section. If you wish to enable this, it is advised you untick the option after installing Minecraft.

The Andriod & Kindle Fire variants can't be installed on the same device at the same time, as they both use the same install/save data location. This can cause issues with achievements.
I.E. You may have trouble unlocking Adventuring Time (Discover 17 biomes). This is because it keeps track of biomes you have visited from both the variants due to it being installed in the same location. To fix this, you need to clear all Minecraft data from your device. Read more about it here.

Playstation Area:

Yes, there is a specific area for Playstation players. The PS4 variant has two trophies that have no corresponding achievements (Music to my Ears & Change of Sheets). This is because the PS4 Bedrock Edition shares the achievement list with the PS4 Legacy Edition. You don't have to worry about this area if you're doing the achievements, however, if you are doing the PlayStation variant expand the spoiler below for the guide to unlocking these trophies:

*** Spoiler - click to reveal ***

Additional Information & About the Walkthrough:

Before we get started on the achievements, we will mention that this walkthrough is written in a way to help players that know nothing about Minecraft. So some things we mention might seem very basic.
We have also hyperlinked a lot of stuff that goes to the Minecraft Gamepedia if you wish to have more information about certain things.
If there are others playing in the world, you might unlock some achievements when they fulfill the requirements.
● If you're experiencing lag or framerate loss, try lowering your Video settings.
This includes turning off: Fancy Leaves, Fancy Bubbles, Render Clouds, Beautiful Skies, Smooth Lighting, Fancy Graphics, and Texel Anti-Aliasing.
Also reducing these bars to the lowest point (far left): Render Distance, Particle Render Distance, and Anti-Aliasing.
As said before, you can use any of the three input devices as this walkthrough allows for any of them. Though, using the controller is most likely best.
This game has two 'UI Profile' settings (found in the Video section in Settings), these are 'Classic' & 'Pocket'.
As the name says, it changes the User Interface design. The informative icons you see on the screen will be in different places, and the inventory & crafting menus will be different. The default setting is Classic for larger screens like Xbox One & Win 10, and Pocket is for smaller screens like phones. This walkthrough is written to include both, so you can pick whatever you like more.

Our recommended method of doing all the achievements:

Achievements in this game can unlock very late, so the most time-efficient approach when doing all these achievements is to do each achievement requirement only once, then move on to the next station. Then when you have finished all the stations, you can check your achievement list to see which didn't unlock for you to try again.
Also, since Castaway is the longest achievement that requires certain conditions (not eating anything else), it is best you start this very early, and while you are making progress towards that, you can do all the other achievements at the same time. There are a few other achievements that require you to eat (Iron Belly, Pork Chop, Rabbit Season, and Overpowered), so do those before you start it or after you unlock it.

Now, onto the achievements!

Let's start with the easiest achievement to get, which is 'Taking Inventory'. You will most likely unlock this naturally when doing the other achievements, but to do it now all you need to do for this is to press the button which opens your Inventory (go to the previous page if you want to know the controls).
You will unlock:

Taking Inventory

Open your inventory.

Go to the sign labeled 'Return to Sender' and open the chest and take out a Diamond Sword AND/OR a Bow & a stack of Arrows of Healing. Then head down the stairs and turn left and follow the pathway till you reach a bedrock area. There are two ways to spawn in the Ghast, either press the button or stand in the auto spawn - either way works just fine.
Now there are two different ways you can unlock this:
1. You can use your Sword; Which can be done by swinging it, therefore hitting back the fireballs with the sword before they hit you.
2. You can use the Bow & Arrows; Which can be done by shooting an arrow, therefore hitting back the fireballs with the flying arrow before they hit you.
The first option may seem better and easier, but if you're not the host it may be harder due to lag. So if you're experiencing issues hitting back the fireball with the sword, you can try the bow and arrow method. Due to lag, you may need to shoot before the Ghast shoots the fireball for it to register as a hit on the fireball. You likely need to experiment on what timing to release the arrow suits you best. If you kill the Ghast with the arrows instead of with the fireballs, the Ghast will auto spawn in again provided you're standing in that spot where the signs point.
When you have killed it with its own fireball, you will unlock:

Go to the sign labeled 'Sniper Duel' and open the chest and take out a Bow and an Arrow. Then head down the stairs and turn right and follow the pathway till you reach a fork in the road.
Now there are two different ways you can unlock this; Vertical or Horizontal. Pick whatever you think is best for you.
1. Vertical; Press the command block button in front of you. You will be teleported to a small room with a hole in front of you. Crouch (this will cause you not to fall down the hole) and walk over the hole, look down, and with the bow shoot an arrow straight down it. All you need to do is kill the Skeleton with the arrows from where you are standing, which is 50+ blocks away.
2. Horizontal; You will be in a long area with a button in front of you. Press the button that is in front of you, which will spawn in a Skeleton at the other end. All you need to do is kill the Skeleton with the arrows from where you are standing, which is 50+ blocks away. This may be a little tricky, especially if you're doing this on a touch screen as the arch of the arrow shot needs to be precise.
When you have killed the Skeleton, you will unlock:

Sniper Duel

Kill a Skeleton with an arrow from more than 50 meters.

Go to the sign labeled 'On A Rail' and open the chest and take out a Minecart. Then place the Minecart on the rail and get in it, then move down the rail track until you get to the powered rails. From here sit back and enjoy the ride.
At the end of the track, you will unlock:

On A Rail

Travel by minecart to a point at least 500m in a single direction from where you started.

On A Rail
1 guideOnline/OfflineSingle PlayerCooperative
Hop out and press the command block button to teleport back to the station.

'Adventuring Time'. There are two ways you can get this achievement. The teleporters or the rail system.
1. Teleporters - This is much quicker and a more efficient way to unlock this than the rail line.
To use the teleporters, go to the command block that has the sign labeled 'Adventuring Time' above it, and press the button. This will take you to a specific biome, to which you have another command block in front of you, which takes you to another biome and so forth. These teleporters take you to 55 biomes total, and you only need 17. So once you unlock it, you can just use the return teleporter (located to your left and right) to get back to the station. NOTE: You may need to explore a little bit of the area for the biome to count.
2. Rail Line - This is the old way to get the achievement, and mostly works for everyone.
Open the chest and take out a Minecart. Place the Minecart on the rail and get in it, then move down the rail track until you get to the powered rails. From here sit back and enjoy the ride. This ride takes 6 minutes to reach the very end. If you haven't visited any biomes before, you will unlock it at the very end. But if you have visited some biomes before, you will unlock it earlier. If that does happen, you can either stay on the track all the way to the end, or hop out and press one of the many command block buttons which are located every 100m next to the track line. Whether you press the button at the end of the line or anywhere on the track line, you will be teleported back to the station.
You will unlock:

Adventuring Time

Discover 17 biomes.

Adventuring Time
2 guidesOnline/OfflineSingle PlayerCooperativeCollectable
You will also unlock 'On A Rail' sometime during the ride if you haven't already.
Note: The Nether Biomes (5), The End Biome, and the Ocean Biomes (9) also count towards this achievement.

'Passing the Time'. This is the final achievement that is part of the 'Update Alpha 0.12.0'.
For this achievement, you used to have to play somewhere between 17.56 to 33.33 hours depending on if you sleep at night or not (1 full in-game day is 20mins). But in the achievement world, there is a day accelerator going (this is always running - you don't need to do anything to activate this). 1 day is now 1m 53s. However, days being tracked by the achievement can be buggy and sometimes not count a day for some weird reason. This achievement now takes around 3h 30mins to do - that is 14 to 30 hours saved!
So if you still haven't gotten this achievement after doing all the previous achievements in 'Update Alpha 0.12.0', but have yet not finished all the other achievements in the additional Updates/DLC, continue playing as this will likely unlock on the way.

You will eventually unlock:

Passing the Time

Play for 100 days.

Congratulations, you just finished the achievements related to 'Update 1.5.0: Update Aquatic - Phase Two'. Go to the next page for the achievements part of 'Update 1.8.0: Cats & Pandas'.

Go to the 'Update 1.8.0: Cats & Pandas' area. We will be doing these achievements in a clockwise direction.
If you wish to know the position of this area and the layout of the achievements:

Go to the sign labeled 'Where have you been?'.

This achievement can only be done if ALL players in the game sleep in a bed at the same time. This is because the day needs to be fast-forwarded to morning. If playing on the Dedicated Server or Realm, other players may not sleep when you attempt this achievement.
Open the chest and take out a Cat Egg (1.8.0 Cat) and a stack of Fish (Raw Cod). Then go into the designated area and use the egg to spawn in the Cat, now you need to tame the Cat. This can be done by feeding it the Fish - there is a chance when you feed a Cat a Fish it will be tamed. You can tell if you have tamed it because love hearts will appear around the Cat. When you have tamed it, make sure the Cat is standing not sitting (as you need the Cat to move), to stand/sit a Cat make sure you are not holding any fish, as you will just feed it instead. Now feed it another Fish, this will make the cat purr and start constantly showing hearts - it will do this for 30sec. Now press the command block button behind the beds to make it night time, now sleep in one of the two beds.
If done correctly, the Cat will jump on the bed, curl up to you, and purr. You will then be fast-forwarded to morning, and the Cat may have dropped an item nearby (there is a 70% chance for a tamed cat to give the player a gift after they wake up from night). If it did drop an item, it would have dropped one of these: Rabbit's foot, Rabbit hide, String, Rotten flesh, Feather, Raw chicken, and Phantom membrane (The chance rate for all is 16.13%, except for the Phantom membrane which has a 3.22% chance). If you see one of those items, pick it up. If it didn't drop an item, try again (by feeding it Fish, making sure it stands, press the command block button, and sleep).
If you managed to all that properly, you will hopefully unlock:
Where have you been?

Receive a gift from a tamed cat in the morning.

Where have you been?

Go to the sign labeled 'Zoologist' and open the chest and take out a stack of Bamboo. Then go into the designated area and press the button located on the ground, which will make 2 Pandas spawn in, then feed them both the Bamboo. When you feed a Panda a Bamboo love hearts will appear, when you have done this to the 2 Pandas, they will mate, and a baby Panda will appear.
Note: Sometimes when feeding a Panda a Bamboo it will instead sit up and start eating the Bamboo. If that is the case, spawn another Panda and try again.
You will unlock:

Zoologist

Breed two pandas with bamboo.

Go to the sign labeled 'Top of the World' and open the chest and take out a piece of Scaffolding. Now just simply stand in the scaffolding tower and place another below you. It will auto add one to the very top, which is the world build limit. This should be enough to unlock it, but if it doesn't, you can try building a whole tower yourself - you will need three stacks of Scaffolding.
You will unlock:

Top of the World

Place scaffolding to the world limit.

Go to the sign labeled 'Plethora of Cats'. Head down the stairs and go into a large open room. There are two ways you can get this achievement. The cat re-spawner or mass cat spawner.
1. Cat re-spawner:
When in the large room, go to your right and stand in front of the hole that is in the wall (you will also be standing on a pressure plate). At this area, a new cat will spawn in the hole every 3 seconds, and the cat will not be able to move, this allows for an easy & quick tame. If using a controller or mouse, all you need to do is simply spam the tame button. You will also automatically be given a stack of Fish (Raw Cod) in the first hotbar slot.
2. Mass cat spawner:
When in the large open room, at the stairs there is a lever, flipping this will close off the exit (this is optional - it is only there to stop the cats from running away). Go to the chest and open it and take out a few stacks of Fish (Raw Cod). Then press the button located to the right of the chest that has the sign 'Spawn 30 Cats' above it, and 30 cats will now spawn in.
To befriend/tame a Cat, you need to feed it Fish - there is a chance when you feed a Cat a Fish it will be tamed. You can tell if you have tamed it because love hearts will appear around the Cat.
Once you have tamed 20 cats, you will unlock:

Plethora of Cats

Befriend twenty stray cats.

Congratulations, you just finished the achievements related to 'Update 1.11.0: Village & Pillage'. Go to the next page for the achievement part of 'Update 1.11.1: Village & Pillage'.

Go to the 'Update 1.11.1: Village & Pillage' area. There is just one achievement, which is the worst achievement added to the game (in terms of requirements). Unlike The Haggler, this one is long and grindy, as it requires you to repeat the same actions over and over. However, 1.16.0 made changes to the trading mechanics allowing more trades per item before being out stock. Which means this achievement can be earned a lot faster now than before.
If you wish to know the position of this area:

When entering the area, you will see a stone building on the left and one on the right. This gives you four trading stations, and they are all exactly the same (the reason 4 exists is to allow other players to do this achievement at the same time - due to the length of it). Pick a trading station and go to it. Press the button, and a villager will appear in front of you, you will also be given a lot of items. Note: Villager may spawn jobless or as a child. If that happens, press the button again to respawn the villager.

Initiate trading with the villager which is a Stone Mason, all you need to do is press the first item in each level section (the items that actually gives you emeralds) on the left and then press the trade button on the right until they are out of stock, then go to the next item on the list and repeat.
