Crash of the Titans

Crash of the Titans is the successor to the Crash Bandicoot series (fourteenth in the series), with the most noteworthy titles coming from the PlayStation 1. If you are playing this game due to the nostalgia of the older Crash Bandicoot titles, then be wary. This game, is not your standard Crash game. While the game returns to the series' roots and has linear levels like those from the original trilogy, the game has more beat 'em up traits than platforming traits. The game is fairly straight forward: linear levels, with collectibles for each of these levels. The game must be completed on hard mode as well. The game itself is fairly easy but has a few parts scattered throughout that can be very frustrating due to the difficulty of combat, and the sheer number of overpowered enemies in certain sections.

You are controlling Crash, a bandicoot that was mutated by Dr. Neo Cortex. Cortex kidnaps Crash's friends, and Crash must traverse the island to save them with the help of his old friend, the mask Aku-Aku.

First of all, there are three ways to use this walkthrough:

  • Video walkthroughs of each level are posted at the top of each level's page. Credit to all the videos goes to Starliath The Boss Hunter.
  • Below each video is a full-text walkthrough.
  • There is one page after all the other level pages with just the collectibles and Gold Idol requirements listed.

As you playthrough the game you will unlock different costumes. The costumes are based on the enemies that you find. I suggest you wear the costumes because if you wear a costume of a certain enemy, you will then defeat that enemy in one hit. For example, if you wear the Spike costume after jacking 50 Spikes, every Spikes you run into will be stunned in one hit. This will help a lot on the later levels.

Secondly, if you have a second controller, USE IT. You will need a second controller for one achievement, but it makes the game easier. If you have a second controller plugged in and playing, you will no longer lose lives for dying. There is a catch though.

Co-op has two settings: Piggyback and Leapfrog. You will want it set to Piggyback. The way this works is when you first spawn in player 2, you will hit cn_B. Your second controller will spawn in on player 1's back. Hit cn_B again, they will become a second playable Crash. If you both die, you will lose a life. So if one dies with the other their back you lose a life. So when in combat, make sure both are in the playable state. When one dies, you will just need to wait 5 seconds and then press cn_B which puts the newly spawned teammate in the other person's backpack. Press cn_B to jump back out of the backpack. I recommend only using this on sections you get stuck on, as it is unclear any cumulative achievement progress done by player 2 counts towards the achievement.

Crash of the Titans' main feature and new mechanic are the titans themselves. These are larger enemies you can stun by damaging them and then ride around on. They all have different types of traits, attacks, and powers. Most of the time, you will need to stun these titans with attacks on-foot, which can be difficult at times. There are two basic types of attacks:

cn_X - Light Attack

cn_Y - Heavy Attack

There is also a charged attack that is used by holding cn_Y. This attack is important while fighting titans on foot. If a titan is blocking your light and heavy attacks, then a charged attack will break their block and damage them. In a one on one fight with a titan, spamming this move can easily stun them.

To stun a titan, a certain amount of damage much be dealt on them. When a titan is hit, 5 grey stars will appear over their head. Every hit fills in the stars a little bit. When all 5 stars are filled, the titan will be stunned, and cn_B can be pressed to then "jack" the titan. The damage must be done quickly though, as the titan recovers from your damage fairly fast. There is also a golden mask power-up that can be found in specific places or dropped randomly by enemies: The Jack Mask. Pick one of these up, and you get a temporary damage increase. This can be used to kill other small enemies very quickly, but its main function is that it can stun a titan with one hit. These power-ups are crucial in certain fights throughout the game when you have to deal with more than one titan.

Every enemy you defeat and every object you destroy in the world drops mojo. They are little blue blobs, and these are what level up Crash. Leveling up can award the player with a new combo moves or a larger health bar. I will not make note of every single little thing to destroy to get mojo but make sure to destroy everything you can while playing through the game.

There are combo moves that you will unlock as you level up, so be sure to learn the combo moves as they pop up. You can always access the tutorial screens at any time by pressing cn_back to remind yourself of them.

Combat while riding titans is pretty much the same, except there is one more attack using cn_A. This is the titan's special attack. On the HUD - while riding a titan - there are two bars: a green and a purple one. The green one is health, but the purple one is the special attack meter. Typically using a titan's special attack completely drains the bar. The recharge rate is also very slow, so sometimes it is best to use the special attack, then jack another titan right after it. These special attacks can be very overpowered, so make good use of them when you can.

As you walk around with the titans, you will get to an area the titan cannot go through (there are many of these) and there will be a big blue orb. Interacting with them will immediately kill your titan and it will drop some mojo. You may also dismount your titan at any time using cn_B - however when this is done away from one of these blue orbs the titan will still be in the stunned state for a short amount of time, allowing you to get back on it. If you wait too long, the titan will die anyway and drop the mojo.

There are several types of collectibles. The most notable are the idols. In-game they are also referred to as Voodoo Dolls but the achievements call them Idols, so I will refer to them as such. Throughout each level, there are two types idols: red and blue. The red idols are called Hidden Idols. There is one in each level and all of them must be collected. Some are in obvious places, others are not. The other type - the blue type - are found in Mojo Rooms. Mojo room entrances look like blue, glowing clouds. There is one in each level. Each room has a different objective that must be completed in a set amount of time. The objectives vary in form and in difficulty. If the objective is completed within the allotted time, then a Blue Idol will spawn just before the exit door.

It should be noted you have limited lives in this game. You start with three of them. When around 50,000 mojo is collected without dying, or a golden wumpa fruit (they look like apples) is collected you will gain an additional life. If you run out of lives on a level, you will need to start over from the beginning of that level. It is important to note that the mojo rooms do not have to be completed again, and the red Hidden Idols do not have to be found again.

Each level has a bronze, silver and gold idol. These are not collected as an item within the levels. Each level has three objectives: Minion Master, Spybots, and Combo King. For each objective you get, your tier of the idol for the level will increase. The gold idol must be obtained for every level so it is important to complete all three. The requirements for each objective is different in every level.

  • Minion Master - This is simply for defeating a certain amount of minions (any enemy that is not a titan).
  • Spybots - These are little floating robots found throughout the levels. Every level has three of them. They are shaped like toilets, so most of them are not hard to miss.
  • Combo King - This is for getting a certain number of hits in a combo during the level. You will eventually unlock a spin attack. This attack is very useful because it can land a lot of hits without defeating the enemy. Do not use this attack too long in one go or Crash will get dizzy, and you will most likely lose the combo.
    • As you level up, the amount of time Crash can spin will increase. At a certain point it will become infinite. So if you are having trouble getting a Combo King in one of the episodes, I advise you to wait until your spin attack's duration is longer and come back to it.

One more note, there are plenty of sections in this game with multiple enemy titans to contend with, and no titan of your own. The titans have a set distance where they start attacking you. Use this to your advantage. Walk towards them such that only one or two of the titans in the group start chasing you. It is next to impossible to defeat more than two titans on your own. Even trying to stun one with two attacking you can be a task. Once one is stunned, and you have a titan of your own, the others can be defeated easily using the special attack.

So start up the game, select hard mode if you wish to contain your experience with this game to one playthrough instead of two, and we shall begin!

Here is a list of the titans in the game, their attacks, which type of titan they are and other noteworthy information.

  2. Spybots: 3
  3. Combo King: 15

After the first cutscene, put the controller down, let Crash stand still for a while and after you see 10 idle animations, your first achievement will pop.

Plug in a second controller and hit cn_start for another achievement:

You may also let your controller idle here for 25 minutes if you wish to get this achievement out of the way:

This can be done on any episode though, and most likely it will pop during one the levels later in the game.

After that, walk forward and cross the river using the land bridge. You will get a prompt explaining how to melee using cn_X. Smash the plants here for Mojo. Continue through the cave, smashing plants as you go.

Up ahead you’ll hear two enemies. Let them finish their conversation for progress towards an achievement. Defeating these two will collect two test tubes with a green chemical out of one-hundred. Continue ahead. Jump up the stone steps, jump to the stone platform ahead, then double jump (double tapping cn_A) to the higher ledge ahead.

Run forward and slide down the grassy slope. Here is a good place for Combo King. Defeat the enemies here and continue ahead slightly for a few more enemies.

Once they are dealt with you’ll see a vine hanging down, and to the left three tree stumps with faces on them. Jump up them, defeat the enemy on the middle stump and continue to the ledge ahead. Go through underneath the tree.

Continue along the linear path until you come to some mushrooms. Walk past the first two mushrooms, to the third one on the right. Jump on it, and jump up for your first Hidden Idol. Now collect all the mojo around here and continue forward. Jump on the two mushrooms at the end and jump up to the ledge above and the next area.

Run forward and jump to the two stone platforms then across to the next area. Jump up the ledges. Jump to the left and walk back a bit and get the times 2 Mojo multiplier. Go forward to the big plant on the right. Hit cn_B to enter the Mojo Room.

When the timer starts, Green Mojo will start falling. Go and collect them until you get 5000. Once that is done go forward, grab the Blue Idol that pops up just before the portal and jump through to the portal back to where you were. You’ll have unlocked:

Continue forward across the various platforms. Go over the circular platform, then onto a long balanced platform. Jump to another circular one then to a grassy one. Destroy the plants here and continue across two more platforms to the other side. Jump on the mushroom to the ledge above.

Go forward and defeat the enemies ahead. Run ahead and slide down the slope. Jump across the platforms up to the big rock. Jump up and mash cn_X to helicopter over to the next platform across the water. Jump up to the next platform using the mushroom. Run across the stone and double jump to the other side, grabbing onto the ledge. Shimmy right, jump up and then jump up again to get to the top. Stay hanging from the ledge long enough and then jump and you’ll unlock:

At the top is a Spybot (1/3). Destroy it.

Continue along the two stones, jump to the next piece of land and defeat the enemy. Continue forward underneath the waterfalls. When you get to a large gap to cross, double jump and helicopter over to the other side. Continue onward and do the same thing for the second gap. Slide down the slope.

Destroy the Spybot (2/3) here, jump to grab the ledge on the wall in front of you then jump again to get up top. Continue forward then jump up using the mushrooms. Walk forward for a cut scene.

When the scene is over fight three waves of enemies. When they are dealt with forward toward the cage on the ground. This will activate one more cut scene. After the cut scene, you will have the ability to block. Jump on the mushroom after taking care of the enemies that spawn and walk forward for another cut scene.

Attack the titan ahead until it’s stunned and press cn_B to jack it, and start riding it. This is the first titan, named Spikes. Each titan and boss will have to be jacked 5 times. Go forward to the spike gate, and hit cn_Y to knock it down. Go through it.

Defeat a few waves of enemies in this next area. When all the enemies are gone, the red fog will be gone. Go through the new path ahead. Next, cross the bridge, defeating the enemies on your way. At the other end of the bridge destroy the Spybot (3/3).

Continue from here to the next group of enemies. When the new titan is stunned, jack it like before. Once the enemies are defeated, cross the bridge. Defeat the enemies along the way.

At the other end of the bridge, three more titans spawn. This will most likely be a good place to get the third gold requirement for a 15 combo. Stun them and jack them. As you are doing this, a few waves of enemies will spawn. Defeat them and jack any titans. When this is done, go to the tree and knock it down. Then go to the glowing ball, and hit cn_B. Now that you are back as Crash on his own, walk through the hollow tree that was knocked down. This will be the end of the level.

If you did complete all the gold idol objectives you should unlock an achievement.

Gold Idol Requirements

  1. Minion Master: 25
  2. Spybots: 3
  3. Combo King: 45

Run forward from the start. You’ll come to one of those big tutorial rocks. Up ahead is a glowing token. Grab it. This is a Free Jack. Grab it and hit the titan ahead with one hit, then jack it. These are called goars.

While riding your new titan, continue on the path ahead. You’ll come to a rock barrier. Knock this down using cn_Y and continue onward. Do the same for the tree stump blocking your path. A group of enemies and titans will spawn - defeat and jack these respectively until the waves of enemies ceases. Once they’re taken care of, destroy the Spybot (1/3) on the right. Continue through the level.

You’ll come to one of those blue orbs again. Hit it to ditch your titan and work your way up the ledges here. Continue through the forest using the path ahead for a cut scene. You’ll have been introduced to a new titan, Snipes. Go over and stun it, then jack it. Continue ahead to find another titan. Stun and jack this one as well, then continue up the ramp on the left.

Once at the top, use this new titan to shoot the spinning red and white target. To do this hold cn_RT to aim at the target, then hit cn_X to shoot. This will open up the path. Follow it, taking out the two titans. Just jack the one on the path with you. The one over the gap is too far away to jack, so just stun him and run past. Shoot the next red target to continue.

Jump off the tree platforms to solid ground up ahead. Ditch the titan using the blue orb and proceed forward. Take a glance at the tutorial rock here, it will show you how to backflip. Run up ahead to the gap in the path. When you get here, backflip in the direction you came from to land on a ledge that was above you. Destroy the Spybot (2/3) up here. Jump down.

Instead of jumping across the gap, jump into the gap for the idol. Make sure to grab the ledge halfway down and drop. Once you’ve obtained the Hidden Idol, jump back up to the ledge you grabbed to get down and shimmy to the right. Go all the way to the right and drop for a cut scene.

Destroy the Spybot (3/3) then jump between the walls here to get to the top. At the top is the Mojo Room of the level.

This challenge is very straightforward. Grab the Free Jack ahead then use it to jack the titan that spawns. Stun the second titan that spawns so he does not get in the way. Then aim at the 7 things floating in front of you that are in the air. Once destroyed you can go grab the Blue Idol and get back to the level. There is plenty of extra time on this one, so plenty of room for error.

Once back in the level you’ll be on a platform. Jump on the mushroom to your right to get up above. Follow the path up here. Jump to the mushroom below and then up to the ledge on the left of the mushroom. Next, run forward and double jump off the cliff. Helicopter to the ground ahead, making sure to grab as much Mojo as possible.

Defeat the enemies at the bottom here, which is the ideal place for Combo King. Then run forward into the cave to end the level.

Gold Idol Requirements

  1. Minion Master: 80
  2. Spybots: 3
  3. Combo King: 30

To start the episode, up ahead will be four platforms moving in and out of the wall on the left. When the one closest to you comes out, double jump onto it. Then time your jumps to jump across all four to the outside. This is the safest route. You can run in front of them to get the Mojo but there is not much there to get. At the end, grab the Free Jack and jack the Snipes ahead.

Use Snipes to shoot the four enemies hanging on the tree. Run ahead, avoid the two moving walls and hit the blue sphere to ditch Snipes. Jump up and grab the ledge.

Shimmy to the right. Jump up two ledges at the other end, then shimmy back to the left and jump up to the platform. Then stun and jack the Spikes up here.

Defeat the enemies here, then cross the bridge - defeating any enemies that spawn. Continue over the bridge and hit the blue orb to ditch Spikes.

Jump down to moving block below, timing it so you do not fall through. Jump to the platform on the right. Ahead are three moving blocks, two next to each other and one above them. Jump when the two on the bottom are extended and get to the platform after them. Double jump and helicopter backward to get the big Mojo (awards 1000 mojo instead of 10). Continue forward.

Jump across the three moving blocks. Continue ahead and grab the Free Jack in the air and proceed down the path here, using the Free Jack on the Spikes that spawns. Keep going and defeat the enemies that you see on your way. Around the corner is a Spybot (1/3). Destroy it. Continue through the forest. Defeat the enemies here, making sure to wait around for a bit - you may think they're all gone but more will spawn. After that, walk to the new area. Before continuing, go back through the darker area you just went through - more enemies can spawn after you’ve walked through it.

You’ll come to a darker area with a pond. Walk on the stone bridge. You’ll see some small platforms in the water in the middle of the half circle. Hit cn_B to get off Spikes and jump across them. In the mouth of the statue is the Mojo Room.

Simply defeat all the enemies in the allotted time. Use the Free Jack to jack Goars quickly. There are about 5 or 6 other titans you’ll have to defeat, so stun them and jack them all. Once this is done - assuming you’ve done it in the allotted time - you can grab the Blue Idol. You’ll also most likely pop an achievement:

If it didn’t pop yet, keep jacking titans and it should pop soon.

After that, get back to the stone path and continue the way you were going. At the end of the path, you’ll be on the edge of a cliff. Double jump and helicopter to the various platforms, getting whatever mojo you can.

When you get to the ground again, a Snipes will spawn. Go over and jack it. When the first wave of minions come out, get off your snipes and use the spin attack to rack up enough combo hits for Combo King. Then grab the x2 orb that is on the right. This part can be a tad tricky on hard mode. On top of all the minion enemies that spawn, there will two snipes and four spikes. The best method seemed to be to run in and immediately kill and jack the Snipes at the other end. Then two of the Spikes will spawn. Stun both of them at the same time, and jack them back-to-back. Now one more Snipes should spawn along with the last two Spikes. Stun and jack the Snipes and use it to stun and jack the two Spikes. In between and after these titan jacks, take out the minions. Make sure to jack the Snipes again when you’re done before it dies. Once this is done you should unlock two achievements:

If they didn’t pop yet, they should soon - just keep defeating the minion enemies.

Use the Snipes to hit the four red targets to open the next door. Follow the path to the end. Hit the blue orb to ditch the Snipes. Sit here and listen to the conversation of the enemies ahead for progress towards an achievement.

Double jump and helicopter down, then defeat the new enemies. When the minions are dealt with, two Spikes will spawn. Stun and jack them. Two Snipes will then spawn, along with some enemies up top. Jack the Snipes, aim for the Spybot (2/3) up top and destroy it. Stun and jack the other Snipes, then shoot all the enemies you can see along the top wall. Defeat the rest of the enemies. When they’re all dealt with the red mist above the boxes in front of you will disappear. Destroy the rightmost box to find the Hidden Idol. Destroy all the other boxes and continue forward. Interact with the blue orb ahead to ditch whatever titan you have.

Next is a section with spinning “L” shaped platforms. Jump across all of them to the other side. Feel free to grab the Mojo in this section, if you’re feeling adventurous.

Once to the other side, walk forward for a cut scene. A fight will ensue. During the course of this fight make sure to get the Spybot (3/3) on the left side. After the fight, take your titan and knock down the collapsed entrance that’s straight ahead. Walk through here for a cut scene.

Continue forward, dealing with the enemies and hit the blue orb to ditch your titan. Jump across the series of moving platforms. If you have to wait for the platforms to be in the proper position, just keep jumping or use the helicopter move to avoid falling off while you wait.

Once across, continue forward. Run up the incline, and into the temple to finish the episode. This will unlock:

Gold Idol Requirements

  1. Minion Master: 30
  2. Spybots: 3
  3. Combo King: 15

Start the level by jumping onto the vine in front of you. Use cn_LS to swing back and forth and jump to the next two vines onto the other side. Walk forward towards the circular area ahead. Jump and helicopter to get to it. This will trigger a cutscene.

Take the only staircase available on the left and enter the statue’s open mouth.

Walk forward and trigger the cutscene. Stand here and wait for the minions’ conversation to loop. Once you hear repeated dialogue, go ahead and defeat them by helicoptering over to them. Over on the right is a rope and a platform. Use the rope to get to the platform and melee the thing in the middle. This will trigger a cutscene and spawn a Spikes in the middle. Swing back and jack it. Defeat the new enemies that spawn. When they’re taken care of, use a Spikes to destroy the wall on the left side with another gadget on the ground. Hit this one for another cut scene which spawns a Snipes. Defeat the enemies that spawn, then shoot the two targets on the left and right of the room.

If you’ve been jacking all the Snipes that you’ve come across you should unlock:

If not, keep jacking Snipes titans to unlock it.

Abandon the Snipes you have, and jump across to the platform ahead and run up the statue’s tongue. Walk forward and look at the two stones for two new moves. Jump down the slope and slide down on your board. Make sure to hit as many crates as you can on your way down.

At the bottom, you’ll end up at the big circle from earlier with another staircase on the right available. Helicopter back down to the circle and go up the new staircase through the entrance. Stand here and wait for the minions’ conversation to end.

Once the conversations start to loop, there is a Mojo Room entrance on the right. Enter here and gather three Fast Jacks before the time runs out. This one can be a bit tricky since the enemies are very aggressive. Go over to one of the titans and jack them. Dispose of the rest of the enemies then get the Fast Jacks. One is in the middle, the second is in the crates on the right, and the last one is above the crates on the left.

Once you’re back in the level, jump in the middle with a few of the other enemies. You’ll take out your board and just manoeuvre yourself in this little area. Ram into the enemies and they’ll die. Here is a good place for Combo King. Next, destroy the crates around here and move on after the cutscene shows the door opening. Head through that door.

Jump down the slope and you’ll take out your board. Hit whatever boxes you can on the way down. When you see a section of blue light ahead instead of the green, you’ll have to jump to the ropes ahead and swing to the next section. Land on the beam after these ropes and continue onward. For this last part stick to the right side of the slope and let yourself be launched into the air to the next platform. Don’t jump off manually and use the helicopter if you think you’re not going to make it far enough. Continue through the door ahead.

During that section you’ll more than likely have unlocked another achievement as long as you’ve been destroying all the crates you’ve seen:

In front of you in the air is the Hidden Idol. Jump and helicopter back to the big circular area, and climb the last staircase.

You’ll trigger a small cut scene. After this scene look behind you for a Spybot (1/3). Go down the stairs and jump across. There is another Spybot (2 and 3/3) on the left and on the right. Grab them after the cut scene.

This fight can be a bit difficult. Firstly, stun the Spikes titan. Jack it. When the Goar spawns, attack it until it starts blocking then use the cn_A attack. This should stun it. Jack it. Wait for the Yuktopus titan to do his area attack (when makes the bagpipe sound and a blue cylinder emits outward). When it does this, go in and use the cn_A attack to stun the Yuktopus. After this attack it until it’s stunned. Jack it. This will unlock:

Once you have control attack the three large platforms around the perimeter. Each platform will need to be hit twice. Large amounts of titans will spawn. When they do spawn it is best to focus on them first. Hit them with your normal melee attack and the special attack using cn_A when you can.

As soon as you knock down the three platforms, the level will end. Watch through the cutscene and an achievement will unlock:

Assuming you have gotten the Minion Master goal for each level you should have gotten:

Gold Idol Requirements

  1. Minion Master: 20
  2. Spybots: 3
  3. Combo King: 15

Before you start, just pay attention to one little detail. The majority of the enemies for Minion Master are found on the slope sections of this level. So you have two options; the first option is to defeat whatever enemies you see on the slopes. If you decide to speed past them though, you can die when you face the new titan for the first time. The enemies will respawn and you will be able to get enough enemies defeated for Minion Master.

Starting off the level, stand still and listen in on the minion conversation.

Run forward and jump over some vines. Attack the enemies up ahead. Continue forward following the path ahead. You'll take Aku-Aku out and start boarding down the hill.

On your way down keep hitting the feathers and avoiding the spherical mines. You will get to a point in the path where there is a split. One path to the right going up the trees, and one going down to the left with four mines. Take the left path and follow the branch. You'll see a red glowing Hidden Idol. Grab it and jump back down to the path. If you miss it you can very easily turn around, go back up the path and try again.

This should unlock an achievement.

Continue down the path, grabbing feathers and avoiding mines. When you pass a set of three mines should see a grassy platform with a Spybot (1/3) on top of it. Jump and destroy it. Continue down the slope, hit the jump (spin in the air if you have to) and then slide a little further to hit the bottom.

Run forward and jump up the sandy steps onto the metal arch. Cross the arch. Before attacking the enemies you can wait for their conversations. Attack them then continue forward, following the path ahead and ride the slope down to the ground. Over to the right next to some outhouses is the Mojo Room.

For this room, you must kick the enemies into the mines floating above. Defeat the titans here so they're not in interfering. Grab one of the gold power-ups around and press cn_X while facing the mines in the air. Do this for all 5 sets of mines within the time limit and grab the blue idol.

When you spawn back in the level, there will be plenty of enemies. This is one good spot for Combo King. Once they're dealt with, destroy the Spybot (2/3) that's to the left of the outhouses. Walk forward for a cutscene. A new titan will spawn, the Rhinoroller.

To easily defeat a Rhinoroller on foot, spam the cn_Y attack. It will stun it. If you use cn_X it will use its roll attack, and recover all of its health.

Stun it using this method and then mount it. Once mounted, defeat the enemies here. You may also destroy the piles of crates and the outhouses using the cn_Y attack for some extra mojo.

Walk forward for another slope section. This time your Rhinoroller will roll into a ball and roll down the slope. Same as before, avoid the mines and get the feathers. This time there are also giant circular saws that you must avoid.

At the end of the slope, you'll jump through the air and land in front of a giant tank (which looks like a building with red lights). Do not go in there yet. Lastly, run backward and destroy the last Spybot (3/3) for the level. Continue ahead and end the level by entering the giant tank.

If you've completed all of the gold idol requirements for every level up to this point an achievement should unlock.

  2. Spybots: 3
  3. Combo King: 25

Start off by running ahead and taking care of the two titans. Make sure you jack at least one of them and stay on it. There are going to be several waves of titans. Your best bet here is to use the cn_A attack to take out multiple titans at once and then jack another one. Once you have taken out enough of them, Snipes titans will spawn. Jack them too and then shoot the red target markers on the structure in the background. This will allow you to continue with the level.

Jump on the red hose on the right to get on top of the now-destroyed machine and continues forward. You will have to helicopter to each consecutive platform that goes across the face of the waterfall. Make sure to watch out for the falling logs. When you make it to the other side, there will be an outhouse and a Spybot (1/3).

Continue around the corner and you will see the Mojo Room Challenge. This room is simply just defeating all the enemies in the allotted time. Grab the Jack Mask and then jack the Rhinoroller in the middle. Use this titan to defeat the minions and the other Rhinorollers. If your titan is defeated, just simply mash the cn_Y on the other Rhinorollers to easily defeat them. There should be more than enough time to defeat all the enemies even without using one the titans here. Don't forget to grab the idol that appears!

Once back in the main level, continue running forward. Helicopter over to the other side and take out the titan. More minions and titans will spawn. Take care of all of these and jack the Rhinoroller. Then hit cn_Y while facing the pile of rubble to open up the next area.

To get up this wall you must jump against one of the walls, and jump back and forth (the game calls this Tic Tac-ing). Continue forward. Here there will be several platforms to jump to and from. There is a split in the path. Make sure to take the left set of platforms for your Hidden Idol. Also, destroy the Spybot (2/3) on the other side. Continue forward to a town.

This is the best opportunity for Combo King. Defeat the minions here and rack up a combo, and then the titan (a Shellephant) will break from its cage. Grab the Jack Mask from the truck bed that's right by the fire. Use this to jack the Shellephant. Walk forward with the titan to the metal gates and use the cn_A or cn_Y attack to open them.

Take care of the enemies here. On the right are two outhouses. Behind these is the final Spybot (3/3) of the mission. Continue forward, avoiding the spinning circular saw, and blast open the gate. Continue forward up the ramp. Ditch your titan at the top and continue down the slope up ahead. At the end of the series of half pipes jump forward and helicopter into the cone that's facing you, which will end the level.

This should unlock:

Gold Idol Requirements

  1. Minion Master: 50
  2. Spybots: 3
  3. Combo King: 25

Run forward until you hit a slope section. After the short slope section a cutscene will trigger. You now have seen a new titan: Magmadons.

Run to the right around the lava, and grab the Free Jack. Go back to the two enemies and jack one of them, using this one to stun and jack the second one. Now with a titan, take out the others, using the cn_A attack is your best bet. Each time you use the cn_A attack, jack a different Magmadon. This is a ranged attack, so feel free to keep your distance and make sure you're facing your target. There will be a few waves of Magmadons, but once they're all taken care of, use the cn_A attack to clear the rubble blocking the tunnel.

A few Spikes will come out of the tunnel. Defeat them along with any others that spawn in the tunnel. Once the enemies are defeated continue through the tunnel. I recommend keeping a Magmadon.

On the other side run forward and there will be a blue structure by some enemies. If you kept a Magmadon, use the cn_A attack after lining up all three enemies here and you should get Combo King. Defeat the enemies and then destroy the structure. A short cutscene will trigger. Continue forward, walking through the lava with your Magmadon, or jumping across the rocks otherwise. Near the third rocky platform is a Spybot (1/3). Jump over to it, helicopter and destroy it if on foot, or just with your Magmadon. Attempt to glide back to the rock to avoid losing some health.

Get to the other end of this path. Defeat the Spikes the titans here jacking other Magmadons as you see fit. Destroy the blue machine in the middle and then continue to the blue dismount orb up ahead.

Jump across the metal platforms here, continuing until you reach the next rocky platform with two Magmadons and a blue machine. Either defeat them or run past them and destroy the machine (I recommend ignoring them). After that is destroyed, continue forward. Destroy the Spybot (2/3) on the right and jump over and destroy the next blue machine. Go forward, dismount using the orb if you are on a titan and jump and helicopter forward.

Continue forward, defeat the minions here and helicopter over to the Snipes. Continue forward - defeating minions and snipes along the way - until you jump up some rock ledges to the top (you'll see a metal vertical pipe). Defeat the minions here. Go to the left and climb up the ledges. At the top, you'll see the last Spybot (3/3). Destroy this and defeat the enemies. Once they're taken care of, dismount the Snipes if you jacked it and walk to the right. Walk off the ledge and you will enter the Mojo Room for this level.

For this simply run around and collect all the green mojo before the time runs out. Be quick though, as the mojo disappears. When that's done, grab the blue idol and teleport back into the world.

Jack the Snipes, and shoot the target here. Either bounce up to the top or climb the vertical pipe on the right. At the top defeat the minions and continue forward. Avoid the saw and helicopter over to the other side. This will initiate a cutscene.

After the cutscene, there are two choices. Two Magamadons will spawn. You can either take them out the old fashioned way, or you can purposely die. This will respawn you back before the jump. Grab the Jack Mask that is back up here and glide back down then jack one of the titans.

Take care of all the enemies here and make sure you jack a Magmadon. After that cross the lava pit on the right and hit the device that is here (almost looks like a fire hydrant). You will see a short cutscene and a Snipes will spawn. Go jack it. Defeat the new enemies that spawn and shoot the four targets on the door in front of you. Either take down this big titan with your Snipes, or jack the Magmadon that spawns behind you. The other easy option if you can spare a life is dying and you'll respawn up by the Jack Mask. If you wish to do this then grab the Jack Mask and use it on the big titan. Once the big titan is jacked, just defeat all the enemies here. Before moving forward, grab the Hidden Idol above the magma pool to the left of the door.

Cross the rickety stone bridge with the big titan and use any attack to destroy the stone wall. Continue forward and do the same thing a few more times. You'll then reach a cutscene and the end of the level.

Gold Idol Requirements

  1. Minion Master: 15
  2. Spybots: 3
  3. Combo King: 40

Start by running forward along the beach. After a short cutscene showing Crash lamenting the fall of humankind, go to the right near the water for the Hidden Idol. Continue until you approach some enemies. Take them out and jump up the two rock ledges here for a cutscene. From here, jump down and take out the titan and jack it. To the right is your first Spybot (1/3). Hop off and destroy it. Hop back on the titan and continue forward.

Use your cn_X attack to stun them, one at a time, and jack them. Once they're all taken care of, continue forward. Destroy all the objects here for the mojo. Behind some of the wooden barrels is the second Spybot (2/3). Destroy it and hit the blue orb to dismount the titan. Follow this path until you see two enemies. Defeat them and then around the corner is the Mojo Room.

The mojo room seems simple but the time limit makes this a little trickier. This was the strategy I used: use the Free Jack to stun the titan in front. Wait until the middle Rhinoroller is using its roll attack then jack it. Then use your current titan to stun (don’t jack) the 2 Stenches and 3 Rhinorollers in the middle. Make sure the last of these enemies you stun are the Rhinoroller and Stench on the right side. Once they’re taken care of, dismount your titan and grab the other Free Jack on the right side towards the back. After this go towards the wall at the back and you’ll take out Aku Aku to start sliding around on. Slide into the two Stenches in the back. Mount the last one you stun and use that one to run over and mount the other one. This may take a few attempts. When you have succeeded grab the Blue Idol and exit the mojo room.

Once you’re back in the level, continue forward and slide down the slope here. A cutscene will trigger at the bottom. Two Spikes will spawn under the waterfall. Run over to where they spawned and near there are two large wooden crates. On top is a Free Jack. Jump up onto these crates and grab it, then stun and jack one of the Spikes. Use this Spikes to take the other out. Then several more minions and titans will spawn. Take all of them out as you see fit. If you've defeated all the minions in this level you should get minion master.

Once that is done with, walk over to the waterfall again and destroy the Spybot (3/3) in the corner. Then destroy the rubble blocking the cave entrance and go into it to end the level.

Gold Idol Requirements

  1. Minion Master: 40
  2. Spybots: 3
  3. Combo King: 50

Start by running to the right and around the corner. Go forward and jump across the crevasse using the rock platforms. You will hit a slope which you will slide down using Aku-Aku. When you get to the bottom helicopter glide over to the enemies and take them out. Jump across to the next platform and take out the next batch of enemies. Run forward and go down the next slope here for a cutscene.

Go forward and defeat the small group of minions. After this, the titans will spawn. You need to be quick here. First, attack the minions here to get Combo King To the left, there are two large crates. You can climb up these crates and jump onto the ledge next to them for a Jack Mask. Right next to the Jack Mask is a Spybot (1/3). Jack a titan and start clearing out the enemies. The key here is to stay on a titan. Without one, you will get overwhelmed very quickly. After a few waves, a new giant gorilla titan (Scorporilla) that you've been seeing in cutscenes will jump down. Stun and mount this new titan. Break open the door in the background. If you want to gather up some mojo here, feel free to stick around and defeat all the extra enemies that spawn. Either way, go through the new entrance and dismount the titan using the blue orb.

Follow this path to the slope ahead. At the bottom jump to the rope that is hanging and use this to swing to the railroad tie and slide on this into the sewer pipe. Continue down this pipe and you will come to a fork in the road. You will need to take both paths here. So there are four options. Take one path and helicopter over to the other path at the end and go back up. You could also purposely die at the other end. Or you could play the level twice. Or you could try to work your way back up after getting the first collectible.

if you take the right path, part way down this path is the Hidden Idol. Jump up and grab it. If you miss it you can slide your way back up and try to grab it. On the left path there will be Spybot (2/3).

At the end of the sewer pipe helicopter glide down to the ground ahead. Before continuing forward, you will see the Mojo Room straight ahead.

This mojo room is pretty straightforward. Use the Jack Mask to jack the Stench and use it's cn_X attack to destroy the bombs floating around the arena. You can either stun the two titans following you or you could ignore them. As long as the floating bombs are destroyed in the time allotted. If you pull this off, grab the Blue Idol and jump back into the level through the portal.

Run forward and stun and jack the titan. Defeat the enemies around here then dismount using the blue orb once again. To the right is a rock formation with some platforms on them. Follow these platforms upward then follow the path down the slope. After the slope, follow the path through a tunnel for a cutscene introducing another new titan.

Continue on the path and run straight past the titans for the Jack Mask all the way to the right. Use this Jack Mask to jack one slime titan, and use this titan to defeat the others. When they are all defeated then go forward, destroy Spybot (3/3) and continue in this direction through the toxic waste. Jump off the titan up onto the ledge and follow this path forward to the end of the level.

Gold Idol Requirements

  1. Minion Master: 20
  2. Spybots: 3
  3. Combo King: 15

Start by running forward, following the linear path and jump down to the beach. Continue forward and do your best to avoid the bombs that are dropping from the sky. Run up the damaged missile to get over the wall and jump down.

Stun one of titans here and defeat all the enemies in the area. You will not be able to proceed until they are all defeated. Once they are, continue forward through the gate. Run forward, avoiding the bombs again. A short cutscene will trigger. Continue forward. Dismount with the blue orb if you are still on a titan and follow the path.

Wall bounce up the walls on the left and grab the ledge. Continue to shimmy across this until the end, while avoiding the mines. You will come to a big purple plant on your left just before the final mine. Jump up to near the top of the plant to grab the Hidden Idol. Jump across the platforms ahead of you then helicopter glide down to the enemies ahead. Defeat them and continue on your way. This is a potential spot for Combo King so try to get the multiplier off these enemies. Continue following the path to the right by going up the stairs and following them up across to the left to a sloped section. This will lead you to more enemies.

Stun one of the titans here (I recommend the Stench all the way at the back of this section near the blue orb) and then take out all the enemies. Before continuing, to the left by the dismounting orb is the Mojo Room.

Here you need to simply defeat all the titans in the room. There are four Jack Masks: one right in front of you at the start, one in the middle and two off to the left and right behind a barrier. Grab the one in front and jack a Magmadon. Use his cn_A power to take out as many of the first wave was possible, and break one of the two walls blocking you from a Jack Mask if you can. I recommend trying to keep a magmadon as long as you can. Once more spawn, fight them off as much as you can. If your titan is defeated, grab the Jack Mask in the middle. Finish off the enemies in the allotted time and the Blue Idol is yours.

If you have been following this walkthrough you will unlock:

After getting out of the Mojo Room continue forward, defeating the various enemies ahead of you and walk through the tunnel for a cutscene.

You will now be in a circular arena. Off to the right hand side is a Spybot (1/3). Defeat the two slime titans here and jump off one of them and then double jump up to the ledge and destroy it. Jump back down and re-mount your titan.

In this area there are a bunch of machines with red bullseye targets on them with steam coming out of the top. You will have to destroy all of these in the area. We're going to want to jack the big titan in the middle. Go over to the right side with your titan, and use the titan to jump up to the Jack Mask. Slightly to the left of the Jack Mask is another Spybot (2/3). With the Jack Mask go stun and jack the big titan in the middle.

Once you have this big titan, go over to the rightmost tunnel (where the enemies are spawning from) and jump up the ledge above and grab the last Spyboy (3/3). Remount the big titan. From this titan you can destroy all the aforementioned machines. Simply use the cn_A attack and it will destroy everything within the attack radius. This includes the machines that are up above you on the ledges where the Spybots were. If you wish to grind out mojo here, feel free to do so. The enemies will not stop spawning and as long as you're careful, you are essentially invincible on this Titan.

Once you have destroyed all the machines and a short cutscene will trigger. Another big titan will come out of the N. Gin statue. Use your cn_A attack to stun it immediately and jack it. Once that is done with, simply walk up the ramp into the tunnel where that titan came from to end the level.

Gold Idol Requirements

  1. Minion Master: 130
  2. Spybots: 3
  3. Combo King: 20

Start by walking forward, simply following the linear path and defeating the enemies that you come across. After seeing a short cutscene of an enemy getting sucked up through a pipe, continue around the corner. At the end of this hallway is a Spybot (1/3). Climb up the ladder and jump to the platform to the right to reach the next area.

Up ahead will be a new titan. A Raticle. This guy tends to be annoying to stun since they tend to block all of your moves. So just hold cn_Y to break through the block. Repeat that same move until the first one is stunned. Once that one is jacked, then defeat the other enemies in this area and then break through the ice barrier on the other side of the hall.

Whenever you see another titan, use this new titan's cn_A attack to freeze them and you can very easily stun them without taking a single hit. Continue down this path defeating all the enemies you run into along with knocking down the ice barriers to allow your advancement.

At the end of this corridor is a blue orb to dismount your titan. Do not go through here yet. Break the ice barrier to the left and walk through this new doorway. Defeat all the enemies in here then go back out to hallway you came from and use the blue orb.

Use your tic tac move to jump up the set of walls here. At the top, jump up and use the pipes to get to the next area, which is accessed through a doorway to the right of these pipes that you can hang on.

In this part the first platform you can jump onto is weight sensitive. Stand on the left side of it and wait for it to tilt up on the right side. Once it is, run over to the right side and jump up to the platform above. Continue upward using these platforms until you reach the top and a new hallway.

At the end of his hallway is a gap you can helicopter over. Do that, and continue forward to a new room.

On the left are two file cabinets. In the second one is x2 orb. Grab it by jump and touching the top corner of the filing cabinet. Continue forward for a cutscene.

Here is a good spot for Combo King. Use your spin attack on the enemies here, stopping your spin and do a few normal punches, then back to the spin attacks. Once you have reached the combo you need then proceed to defeat the enemies how you normally would.

Once they are taken care of, hit the little device with red lights on it in the corner. This will spawn a Rhinoroller. Stun and jack it. Continue forward through the next few rooms, defeating the enemies as you go to open the doors to the following rooms.

In one of the rooms - to the right as soon as you enter - is an ice wall. Use your titan to destroy this and then the filing cabinet behind it for the Hidden Idol. Continue through the level as normal from here.

You will get to the last room, which has an elevator. Destroy the desk in the back left corner to reveal a Spybot (2/3). Enter the elevator to reach the next area.

Follow the red hallway. There will be a couple of enemies that spawn at the end. Defeat them to open the big door in front of you. In the next area, defeat all the enemies that spawn in here and then use the blue orb to dismount your titan.

From here, wait for the fire on the platform near you to go out and jump on it, then quickly jump upward to the metal bars to get to the top of this shaft. At the top, helicopter to the next few platforms. You will end up at a bunch of flamethrowers on the wall. Grab the first metal bar and shimmy across to the right, timing it so you do not get hit by the fire. All the way to the right will be a bar to get up to the next level, then dodge the flames going to the left. Continue this pattern until you reach the top.

Once at the top, make your way to the left. Watch out for the projectiles that come out of the tubes on the back wall. Continue around the corner past the two flamethrowers in the ground. Stop just before passing them. There are more projectiles coming from the right. You will need to progress down this hallway. Do so once all three have hit the wall to your left. There are three launchers at the end of the tunnel. They shoot in the following pattern:

  • Right
  • Pause
  • Left
  • Center

Keep this pattern in mind while running down the hallway and you should have no issue getting past this trap. After this is another elevator. Walk into it.

Run forward into this new area - a locker room. Immediately on the right is the Mojo Room. Enter it.

For this one, you need to jack the captain (the big titan in front of you) and open up the wooden gate in the back using that titan. The trick here is to, at first, ignore The Captain. He is strong but very slow. There is also another Jack Mask in the back right of the arena. Go grab that first and use that to jack any of the four other titans in here and defeat the rest. Then once they are taken care of, go grab the Jack Mask in front of The Captain and walk over and open the gate.

You may also replay this Mojo Room a few times to help unlock:

Simply re-enter the room, immediately jack The Captain, and then leave the room by using the portal in the back left. Repeat this process until your achievement pops.

At the end of the row of lockers is the last Spybot (3/3). Go through to the bathroom portion of the locker room. On the right is a Raticle. Defeat him using your charged cn_Y attack as you did early. Continue through the door. You will get a short cutscene of the Raticles showering. Take them out and break the ice wall at the end of this hallway. Then walk through the door at the end to end the level.

Gold Idol Requirements

  1. Minion Master: 35
  2. Spybots: 3
  3. Combo King: 20

Begin by jumping up and grabbing the red Hidden Idol just above you. After this, following the path down to the enemies below. Jack the Raticle and defeat the rest of the enemies here. Destroy the machines in the corners here. This is also a good spot to get Combo King. When you jack the first titan, run back to the narrow pathway you took to get here and freeze the enemies with cn_Y as they come at you. If you freeze enough of them closely together, you should be able to rack up a 20 hit combo.

Destroying the machines will trigger a cutscene and will bring over a platform. Walk onto it when you are ready and ride it to the other side. Destroy the two machines here and use the blue orb. Traverse the moving platforms here. Get to the first platform on the left for Spybot (1/3). Jump forward and jack the Snipes. Use it to take out the other three titans. At the end of this section on the right is also Spybot (2/3). Then continue forward.

In the next section there will be a series of circular platforms that lower. To get each platform to lower you must defeat all the enemies on the current platform. The general strategy here is to stun the first Stench and aim with cn_RT to take out the other enemies on the next platform. There will be five platforms to traverse. If you die, do not worry, you will have a checkpoint up to the platform that you have already cleared. For the fifth platform, if you no longer have a Stench, you can simply run past all the enemies to avoid a rather annoying fight. If you have a Stench, just take them out and continue as normal.

After you clear the last platform you can proceed ahead and jump onto the raising and lowering platform. From here run forward across the bridge. About halfway across the bridge is a Snipes. Jump up and stun it. Jack it and then shoot the other titans from here using cn_RT to aim and cn_X and shoot. If one of the titans is too close to the blue orb you will not be able to hit it. Either way continue forward and take out the new enemies that spawn.

The Mojo Room is in the corner here. Enter it.

You will have to get 10,000 green mojo within the time limit. This is definitely one of the harder Mojo Rooms in the game.

At the beginning run straight, and grab the feather and Free Jack power-up. Use the Free Jack to stun the Rhinoroller as it rolls at you. Use your new titan to roll to the right to the green mojo that has spawned (use cn_Y to roll). Keep rolling along this curved slope path that goes around the back. Destroy the two stacks of large brown crates. Once these are destroyed, you can use the titan for the rest of the room or get off and run around as Crash. If you decide to run around as Crash, you can use the back sloped section I mentioned to make Crash slide around on Aku Aku. This may take some practice as the time requirement is tight. Grab the Blue Idol on your way out.

Continue to the right along the conveyor belt, avoiding the flames and bombs. If you stick to the part of the conveyor belt that's closest to the screen you'll easily avoid both. Half way down this conveyer belt is Spybot (3/3). Continue along until the end of the conveyor belt. The last section of traps has one bomb actually on the belt, so be careful of that.

In this next section, take out the Raticle and mount it. You have two options here. You're going to get ambushed by 6-8 titans. You can either quickly take out the minions (if you have not already gotten Minion Master) and then take out the two red spinning targets on the left and right of the this entrance covered with red smoke, while trying to ignore the titans. Or you could just take everything out using your titan. I chose the latter. This should unlock Minion Master. Once the red smoke is gone, go through this new entrance and end the level.

Gold Idol Requirements

  1. Minion Master: 35
  2. Spybots: 3
  3. Combo King: 15

You will start at the beginning of a long hallway. If you walk towards the screen instead of down the hall, you will find an Jack Mask. If you are quick, grab it and then run straight down the hall you can use it on the first titan, a Ratcicle. Either way, stun and mount it. Use it to take out the others in this area. Once all the enemies are gone, make sure to destroy the machine in the back right corner before leaving. This will reveal the Hidden Idol. There are also two Stenches in the back left and back right. Go to the one in the back right then stun and jack it. On this platform is also Spybot (1/3). Then head through the tunnel on the right that opens up for you.

This next section, we have a conveyor belt again, but this time it's moving in the opposite direction that you are going. If you hug the right ledge, the spinning saw blades should not be a problem. Just keep an eye out for the flamethrower. When you get to the end, dismount from your titan using cn_B and land on the ledge above the last saw blade. Up here is the Mojo Room. Enter it.

This one is fairly straightforward. You will need to pick up 6 Jack Mask power-ups. There is one in the middle, two on the left, two on the right, and one in the very back. The two on the left are located above the two brown large crates and behind the machine. The two on the right are located inside the top brown crate and inside the machine. Use the center power-up to jack a Ratcicle and then stun the other two with the one you jack. Next, go to the left and destroy the two crates. Use cn_B to launch yourself up high enough to grab it. Either destroy the machine right by you or walk around it to grab the third power-up. Then go over to the right, destroy the two crates, grab the power-up, then destroy the machine and grab number five. Then quickly run over to the last power-up to complete the room. Grab the Blue Idol that spawns and exit the Mojo Room.

Next, we have some platforming. There are three retracting platforms over some lava. If you do not mind taking some damage, just hop to the first platform, then helicopter across to the third one after the second one retracts. If you hit the lava, no big deal, you will just lose a little bit of health. If you want to avoid losing health, wait for the first and third platform to be out, and as soon as the second one comes out, then start to jump across them. After these, jump onto the rotating platforms. For these, as long as you glide with the helicopter move, you should be fine. Make sure you jump to the right or to the left so only one of the Ratcicle's are agro'd.

This is a good opportunity for Combo King. Mount whichever Ratcicle you choose to fight, freeze the enemies with cn_Y, then hammer away at them and the minions. Use that to start taking out all the others that spawn. Make sure you destroy Spybot (2/3) over on the left. When a Stench spawns, clear the room of the Ratcicles first and then stun and mount the Stench. As soon as you mount it, aim at the red targets by the door ahead of you and destroy them. More Ratcicles or more minions will spawn when you mount the Stench, so be quick or try to take them out first. Either way, when the door is open, proceed through it and you will end back where we started. The door all the way on the left will now be open. Enter it.

You will encounter yet another conveyor belt. Proceed forward as before. This time around, the saws come out much farther so you will not be able to just hug the left wall. It actually was easier to dismount from the titan and run on the leftmost edge as Crash. At the end, jump up on the ledge when the saw at the very end is retracted into the wall.

Run forward and you will see another pit of lava. Same setup as last time just slightly different. You again will see three retracting platforms. The third one will come out, then the second one, then the first one. Right when the first one starts to retract, start jumping across them. When you get to the spinning platforms, get on the second platform and helicopter glide as far right as you can. The idea here is we only want to trigger one of the four titans that are standing up there, otherwise, we're going to have an extremely difficult fight. You will most likely have to sacrifice some health and land in the lava. Once you've attracted the attention of a titan, stun him and take out all the enemies here. There will be a few waves of Raticicles. After that, there will be one wave of minions. The next wave is a bunch of Sludge titans. Stun one and jack it. Then use it's cn_A move to destroy the slime block in front of you. Continue through the exit. Make sure you grab the Spybot (3/3) while you are here.

This will trigger a cutscene. Do NOT lose your titan here. There are so many Titans to fight in this area, losing your titan will make the fight incredibly difficult. Assuming you kept your Sludge, start attacking the enemies. The goal here is to destroy the three spinning red wheel targets. They are on the right and center doors on the ground level and the third one is above the left door. Use the Sludge cn_X attack to destroy the right and center targets, along with any enemies that get in your way. For the one on the left, use the Sludge's cn_RT and cn_X attack to swing high up and destroy the target.

This will trigger the end of the level and will unlock an achievement.

Gold Idol Requirements

  1. Minion Master: 55
  2. Spybots: 3
  3. Combo King: 35

Start by running forward for a short sloped section. In the next section, the rocky platforms will tilt if you stay on them for too long, so be quick.

Traverse the linear path, and grab the Hidden Idol on your way up. At the top, wall bounce to the ledge above the wooden crates. Climb up the ledges from here and continue across more rock platforms. At the end of this path, climb up and then start sliding down the next sloped section. Watch out for the mines and gaps in the path. Once you hit the end of this will be the entrance to the Mojo Room.

This is one of the easier mojo rooms. Simply grab the Jack Mask power up and jack the Scorporilla. Then start destroying the things around the arena and the tribal enemies that spawn. Do this in the time allotted and then grab the Blue Idol and return to the level.

Climb up the path here, for a short cutscene. After the cutscene, defeat the minions here. These new minions take a little more damage than the ones you are used to, but they shouldn't give you any trouble. This is also a good spot for Combo King, use the spin attack on the first group of minions. That should let you land enough hits on them. Next, jump up to the path ahead and continue on your way. At the end of this path is a cave. Enter it for the next section.

Run forward for another short sloped section. At the end, jump to the next platform and defeat the enemies. Continue on your way, jumping along a series of what look like giant ribs. Be careful when defeating the enemies on your way, it is very easy to fall.

At the top are some new titans; Battler. For this section, get past the first two Battlers and run to the back left corner, avoiding their cyclone attacks as you run away. Only the Battler in the back should follow you. Take this opportunity to stun and mount it. There are a lot of enemy titans in this area, up to 4 Battlers at one time. They can very easily overwhelm you and once you have lost your titan and you're on foot, you're as good as dead. If you die after the first wave, two Battler's will spawn in the back left from then on, so getting a titan again will be twice as hard. The key here is to keep distance between you and the other Battlers. The cn_A attack takes a few seconds to wind up but will stun any other titans in one hit. So keep your distance and aim carefully. Try to use the cn_A while standing around where you first jumped up into this area from the rib section. That way you will have an easier time aiming your attack properly.

Once the first three are taken out, three more will spawn, so be careful. There will be several waves of titans and minions. Once all the enemies are defeated the red barrier in the back will disappear. This will be your entrance to the next area, but before leaving make sure to destroy the first Spybot (1/3) in the back right, just to the right of the aforementioned entrance.

In the next area, you will now be on a cliff edge and a path along that path. Follow the path. Straight ahead there will be one minion and a slime pit. If you are still on a titan you will need to dismount. There is a ledge you may grab onto to get across. Keep following the path defeating enemies and using this ledge to cross the slime pits. The third slime pit will have a mine in it, so watch out.

You will eventually come to a more open area with two minions and a Battler which is next to a bunch of crates. Defeat the minions and then stun and mount the Battler. Use the titan to destroy the crates blocking your path, and also make sure to destroy Spybot (2/3) while you are here.

Run forward and dismount your titan using the blue orb. Jump on these new mushroom platforms. When you land on one you will bounce up. Follow the path to the end. You will reach a rock platform with some minions, make sure you take them out before continuing onward.

Continuing on the mushroom platform path, on the last mushroom platform there is a Jack Mask powerup, make sure to grab this as it will make the upcoming battle much easier.

Helicopter glide over to the next area where some Battlers are. Use the powerup you just grabbed to mount one of them and take out the rest. Make sure to destroy the last Spybot (3/3). Stick around here and kill the respawning minions to get the last few kills for Minion Master. Once that is done, walk through the entrance in the back to end the level.

Gold Idol Requirements

  1. Minion Master: 40
  2. Spybots: 3
  3. Combo King: 20

Start by jumping across the acid pond using the green platforms. Watch out for the acid geyser. Get to the other side and defeat the minions.

Swing across using the ropes to some more minions, then continue through the linear path. You will swing from 4 ropes to a green mushroom platform. Jump up these to a slope section. Make sure to avoid the mines and grab as much mojo as you can on your way down. At the bottom is another green mushroom platform, use this to jump up to the area above, which has the Mojo Room.

Another easy room, you simply need to use the Scorporilla to defeat all the enemies in the allotted time. Use the Jack Mask powerup that pops up and jack the titan. Just keep hitting the enemies as they spawn, you should have no trouble defeating all the enemies. Grab the Blue Idol on your way out.

Jump up to the area above for another sloped section with some more mines to avoid. At the end of this section, you will need to jump to another set of mushroom platforms. Defeat the minions along the way. At the end of the series of mushroom platforms, you will get back to solid ground with some more enemies. Here is a good chance for Combo King, use the spin attack to rack up a high combo here. If you do not get it here, worry not, there are plenty of places to do it. Once the enemies are defeated, jump on the mushroom platform in the middle and bounce up in the air for Hidden Idol. Continue forward to the next area.

Here we have another sloped sections with more mines. Slide down this, defeating the enemies on the way down. When you hit the bottom, jump across the mushroom platforms. When you get to the next area filled with enemies, jack the Stink and start defeating the enemies. When they are all taken care of the red barrier will go down and some more titans will spawn. When they're all defeated, dismount using the blue orb and continue forward for another short slope section. When you first exit the cave into a more open area, right near the beginning of the slope, jump and destroy Spybot (1/3).

Continue forward until you hit the end of the slope, walk up some stairs and continue down the next slope. Climb up the wall at the end and shimmy to the left - you'll be greeted with more enemies. Continue to the left after them for a few more, and another Spybot (2/3).

Glide your way up the mushroom platforms, making sure to defeat all the enemies along the way. On the last mushroom, there is a Jack Mask powerup. Use it to jack the titan before the blocked off exit and take out the other enemies. Destroy the last Spybot (3/3). Then go through the new opening to end the level.

Gold Idol Requirements

  1. Minion Master: 65
  2. Spybots: 3
  3. Combo King: 25

Start off by running to the left and you will enter a sloped section. As you turn a corner and start sliding directly away from the camera, jump up and grab the Hidden Idol just above the slime pit. Continue down the slope, and when you get to the end, you will come to a wide open area with some Rhinorollers and minions. Ignore the Rhinorollers and stay towards the back of the area. The Rhinorollers will not come and attack you back here. Allow the minions to come to you. There will be 3 waves of them. Use your spin attack to get Combo King. Keep killing minions until they stop coming towards you. Once they have stopped spawning go to the right to find a jack mask to stun one of the Rhinorollers. Once that's done defeat all the enemies in the area, then use the roll attack to destroy the gate. Just the past the gate is Spybot (1/3).

In this next area, follow the path ahead to another open area. Trigger one of the Battlers to come towards you (or defeat them with your Rhinoroller if you still have one). Stun it, and use that one to stun the rest. Lastly, stun the Scorporilla and mount it to break open the gate. Just a note, if you are close enough to the captain class titans, and you use the cn_A attack with the battler, you will hit the enemy with all three of your whirlwinds and it will stun it in one hit.

Past here is Spybot (2/3), and use the blue orb to dismount the titan. Next, use the rope to swing across to the next sloped section. Follow this section down and then when it ends, glide down to the next area.

This is the same deal as the last open fight section. Trigger one of the Stinks, and then take the rest out. Then take the Scorporilla and hit the door until it opens. On the other side of the gate is Spybot (3/3). Then use the blue orb to dismount the titan. To the left is also the Mojo Room.

This room is the same as the last two rooms - use the jack mask to jack the Scorporilla, then use that to take out all the other enemies. Once that's all done, grab the Blue Idol on the way back.

Go forward from here, swing on the vine to the slope section ahead. At the end, climb up the mushroom platforms, then continue down the next sloped path. Make sure you take down the enemies on the way and Minion Master should pop. Follow the linear path to the end and enter the house to end the level.

Gold Idol Requirements

  1. Minion Master: 19
  2. Spybots: 3
  3. Combo King: 30

You will start off by running forward. At the end, you will need to slide off the right corner of the platform and jump onto a series of cages. Follow these cages to the next platform. On this platform is Spybot (1/3) on the back left. Continue forward for a cutscene which will introduce a new titan: Ee-Lectric.

Take the floating platform across the gap, and stun and jack your first Ee-Lectric. Walk on the float platform, and aim using cn_RT and shoot the electric floating trap. Stun the Ee-Lectric on the other side. Get on the next floating platform and destroy the electric traps with the same method as the platform carries you through the level.

Follow these floating platforms to the next area, a long concrete bridge. Halfway down, after defeating the minions, there is a cage above you to your right. Aim and shoot this cage, it will give you a combo around 24, which gives Combo King. Just below this titan is Spybot (2/3). The Mojo Room is also on the left over here.

This room is another straight forward one. Use the jack mask, and jack the Ee-Lectric. Defeat the minions and the other titans (but stay on your Ee-Lectric) and use your cn_RT attack to destroy the bombs floating around the area. Six of them are in the center, and the other two are on the left and right of the arena up some stairs. Once they are destroyed, go ahead and exit the level, grabbing the Blue Idol on the way.

Mount the Ee-Lectric to the right and continue through the level, destroying the electric traps and riding the floating platforms. When you get to the next area after the floating platforms, make sure to destroy the Spybot (3/3) using the Ee-Lectric's ranged attack. To the left is the Hidden Idol. Then continue forward to trigger a cutscene.

For this fight, you will need to take out all the enemies that attack your first. Once you get some of them eliminated, use your Ee-Lectric's ranged attack on the boss (Uka-Uka) and until he is stunned. After this, go over and jack him. Once you have jacked him, you must destroy the blue generators (they have the lightning beams going to the top center of the area). After you destroy one, you will have again stun and jack Uka-Uka. This can only be done with Ee-Lectric. When you're trying to stun him the second and third time, be wary of the other titans coming and attacking you. Focus on them, you don't want to lose your Ee-Lectric.

Once the three generators are destroyed, you will enter a cutscene and the level will end.

During the fight you should have gotten:

After the last cutscene you should get:

Gold Idol Requirements

  1. Minion Master: 25
  2. Spybots: 3
  3. Combo King: 35

Run forward from the start, and start defeating the enemies in the first area. Use the spin attack and you can knock out Combo King right off the bat. Once the enemies are gone, go into the room off to the back left and enter the Mojo Room.

For this room, you must collect 8 jack masks. The first one is right in the middle. Once you have that one, jack a titan. The next mask is behind the machine on the left. The third and fourth are off to the left, down the short side path. The fifth and sixth are to the right by the other machine. The seventh is above the stage, you have to use the jump pad near the middle to jump up to it. The final one is behind the portal. Once you have all 8 in the allotted time, you will be given the Blue Idol.

Before leaving this room with Mojo Room entrance, destroy the Spybot (1/3) on the left side of the room. Leave the room and follow the only other path ahead of you. Note that you can destroy a lot of the items on the walls for extra mojo. Follow the path until you reach the entrance to a ballroom.

For this room - before going down the stairs - if you have a Ee-Lectric you can stun two of the titans from the top using ranged attacks. I recommend doing this. Go down to the bottom, and take out all the enemies. On the right side of the room is another Spybot (2/3). Once all the enemies are defeated, the exit of this room in the back should open up. There are a lot of enemies though, so be prepared.

Continuing forward, take out the titans in this next hallway from far back if you still have your Ee-Lectric. Continue to the end of the hallway and when you reach a red door, you will load into the next area.

In the next area continue to the right and destroy Spybot (3/3). Next to the Spybot in the big red chair is the Hidden Idol. Continue defeating enemies and Minion Master should pop, along with the end of the level.

Gold Idol Requirements

  1. Minion Master: 65
  2. Spybots: 3
  3. Combo King: 80

Start by following the path to the right, and then turn a corner to go forward and it will send you to a new area. Run to the right all the way and down the ramp, to grab a jack mask. When you grab that, go back and jack the Ee-Lectric. Once you have it, go down the ramp and go forward. There is a split in the road. Make a right to get to the Mojo Room.

In this room, jack the Ee-Lectric. Stun the other three then shoot the floating bombs. One is behind the crates on the right. The other two are all the way on the left and right. Grab the Blue Idol on your way out.

Go to the left and glide over to the Ee-Lectrics. Use the one on the left to take out the one on the back. Once that is done float over to the back, walk right and up into the doorway.

Stun the Sludge in here to continue to the left. Continue onto the pad at the end of the path and drop down. Continue to the right around the lava and then swing across the ropes to the other side.

Continue around to the left. You need to jack a Magmadon to continue around the left. Go this way until you hit the blue dismount orb. Jump forward and go down this slopes section. At the end use the ropes to swing down to the next section.

Go to the right defeating the enemies as you go. Here would be a great spot for Combo King. When you get all the way to the right part of the circle, jump to the middle and defeat the enemies. When they are defeated a gear should pop out of the lava. Use this to get to the other side.

Jump the various platforms. Be quick here as your weight causes them to tilt. At the top, continue around the right defeating the Ee-Lectrics as you go. Right by the last group of Ee-Lectrics is Spybot (1/3). When you reach the other side you'll reach a pipe and another slope section. Part way down this section is the Hidden Doll.

At the end of the pipe glide over to the ropes and swing to the moving platforms. Jump across these to the next sturdy platform. Enemies will spawn quickly here, so it's another good spot for Combo King if you didn't get it before. In the back left here is a Spybot (2/3).

After the enemies are all defeated a new platform will drop. If you'd like you can let the enemies on these next series of platforms to just run off the edge. They apparently don't understand the concept of gravity, so they'll just run straight at you and fall off if you do not jump over to them. After this series of platforms, you will come to another lava area.

Continue around the right defeating all the Magmadons that pop up. Use one of these Magmadons to run through the lava, then use the dismount orb. Right by the orb is one of those tilting platforms. Run across it. On the other side go to the right for Spybot (3/3). The exit to the level is right to the left of the Spybot.

Gold Idol Requirements

  1. Minion Master: 35
  2. Spybots: 3
  3. Combo King: 35

Start by running forward defeating the enemies as you go and following the very linear path. You will reach a dead end, where you will jump to the left onto a new platform. Go all the way to the left and you will find the Mojo Room.

This room is very straightforward. Just jack the Scorporilla and defeat the other enemies in the allotted time. As always, grab the Blue Idol on the way out.

Assuming you have done all the rooms up to this point you will unlock:

Once you're back in the left follow the same pattern. When you get up to the next pattern stun a Battler (there will be two). Use this one to stun the Scorporilla. Defeat all the other enemies. The red smoke will clear and you can continue. Before going through the door, hop off your titan and get as high as you can. The Hidden Idol is floating above the doorway. Continue forward and defeat all the minions that come out as you go.

Assuming you have all the other Hidden Idols, you will pop:

You will come to a circular area. Spybots (1-3/3) are here around the perimeter. Go to the left and ride the elevator down.

When you're at the bottom go forward and stun the other titans here. Take your time here and defeat the minions that come out. If you get off your titan it is a perfect time to get Combo King. Once that is done and continue forward through the tunnel ahead. At the end, you will trigger a cutscene and the final boss.

When this boss shoots its lasers at you or goes on all 6 legs, simply block. When it stops shooting then go over and damage it. Just spam cn_X while walking toward it. Jack it when it is stunned. You now need to destroy one of the three spinning gears. Repeat this process for the two other gears. Once this is done, you will trigger the final cutscene.

During the fight you will have unlocked:

After the fight:

Congratulations, you have completed story mode and found most of the collectibles. Onto the mop up!

Now that all the collectibles are found the main story is completed, there is just some mop up to do and you will have your completion! Most of these you may have even popped through your playthrough but this was the place to explicitly mention them in case they did not.

One that most likely was popped if you were following the text guide:

Hide ads

If not, load up episode 5, and listen in on the conversation between the first few enemies. When the dialogue loops, save and quit and repeat until the achievement pops.

The one that will most likely be needed is:

You most likely have jacked 5 of most of the titans, but the bosses also count. The boss in level 20 and in level 17 will be both be need 4 more jacks each. Jacking them only counts once per life. So you must load up those levels, jack them, and then die. Repeat that process until each boss has been jacked 5 times.

If you did not acquire many extra lives during your playthrough, load up level 3. You will need to play through the level until you use the first two dismount orbs. When you use the second one, save and quit. Repeat this until you have 15 lives. Your other option is to just play through the first level over and over again, or just start playing different levels. Doing all of this, you will have unlocked the following:

Once you have 15 lives, load up any level and purposely lose 9 of those lives:

Next, look through the levels in the level select screen. Each screen will have an assortment of idles. There will most likely be missing idols. Highlight them and check what their requirements are. They are mostly for mounting certain titans some number of times or defeating certain kinds of minions some number of times. Below are the best places to grind them out if you are missing them:

  • Spikes
    • Beginning of Episode 7.
  • Goar
    • Episode 3.
  • Snipe
    • Episode 4.
  • Rhinoroller
    • Episode 16.
  • Shellephant
    • The Mojo Room of Episode 11.
  • Magmadon
    • The beginning of episode 7.
  • Stench
    • Near the beginning of episode 8.
  • Sludge
    • Episode 9.
  • Scorporilla
    • The Mojo Room of episode 20.
  • Ratcicle
    • The Mojo Room of Episode 11.
  • Battler
    • Episode 14 or 16.
  • Ee-Lectric
    • Episode 19 or the Mojo Room for episode 19.
  • Doom Monkey (type of minion)
    • Episode 8.
  • Raticians (first type of minion)
    • Episode 1 or 2.
  • Brat Girls (type of minion)
    • Episode 19.
  • Voodoo Bunnies (type of minion)
    • Episode 14.

These may not be the best spots in the game, but they are at least a starting point if you are missing some. There is no counter for any of them in the menus, but it will tell you when the missing costume is unlocked.

Once they're all unlocked, you will pop:

And during the course of this, you will have unlocked:

If you have not gotten 1.2 million mojo by now, just play through some mojo rooms or full levels. Once you hit that you will be fully leveled up and unlock:

Assuming you have done everything you will have unlocked:

If this achievement does not pop properly go to Crash's Stats on the level select screen (the first idol on the left on every level). This will force pop it.

Congratulations on your completion!
