The Invisible Hours

Hello and welcome to the walkthrough for The Invisible Hours. The game itself is less a game and could be classified more as an experience than anything else. The theme is all about perspective and you will be following each of the seven main characters through the events of a single night.

All of the achievements come from collectables, watching all main scenes, and exploration. There are no missable achievements but there is one in particular that can act a bit finicky so that will be saved for near the end.

I've organized the guide by game chapter with a majority of the collectables and achievements being earned in Chapter 1 as we'll spend most of the time exploring the mansion then.

As described in the overview, this is less of a game and more of an experience. It's almost like watching a movie if you had total control on where the camera was at all times. Nothing you do in the game affects the outcome. You're ultimately a spectator of the night's events but can move about the island with the ability to control time. This will allow you to rewind, pause, or fast forward and watch other scenes that may be playing at the same time.

Collectables

Scenes - Each character has a certain amount of major scenes which you can skip to from the hub. More about these in the chapter guides.

Clues - There are 19 clues to find that lend to the mystery of the story. A magnifying glass icon will appear the first time you pick a new one up.

Letters - There are 9 letters to find through the game. A mail icon with appear the first time you pick one up indicating it's new.

Photographs - There are 10 photographs in the game. A camera icon will appear the fist time you pick them up.

Newspaper Clips - There are 10 newspaper clips that can be found that introduce backstory. A newspaper icon will appear the first time you pick one up.

Tesla's Diaries - There are 13 diary entries to find. Each one adds the next page to the book so make sure to pay attention in the guide so you don't miss any. A book icon will appear the first time you find a new one.

Starting the Game

When you start the game you must grab a ticket and enter it into the machine. This acts as your save file and will tell you your progress. You will then enter the game hub which is like a little museum that currently has empty displays. As you watch major scenes from the story the displays will fill with props.

As you walk through you'll see a closed off door on the left side which we'll come back to at the end of the story. Now make your way to the theater room and start up the presentation.

Exploration

We're gonna start out the game by exploring as much of the island as we can now so we can learn the layout. We'll be finding a good majority of the collectables now so we can focus on the scenes for the remainder of the game and grabbing the last couple of collectables when they become available.

For the purpose of this guide, I'll be naming each of the rooms we come across so they'll be easier to navigate to later when we need to move about to get to other characters. I'll underline landmark/room names to easily identify them.

The game starts you off on the docks as you're watching Gustaf come in by boat. Wait for him to step onto the dock and then pause time with cn_LT. Click on his umbrella to get Clue 1/19. Now unpause time and watch as the wind blows the umbrella away. Don't worry, it's not the last time you'll see this umbrella. Now move the camera through Gustaf and you will earn the following:

Then turn around and look at Gustaf and use cn_RT to follow him. This will earn you the following:

Now pause time again and let's go exploring.

Follow the docks up to the island and continue off the path to the left. You'll continue up a small hill that overlooks the generators. When you reach the top you'll find a small pile of hats and earn the following:

Now move back to the path and on to the gazebo. You'll find Flora here and will be coming back shortly for another scene. Click on Flora's necklace for Clue 2/19. Move back on the path and work your way past the house entrance to the other side of the house. Here you will see another short dock heading to the tower. On the back, left side of the tower's generator is Tesla's Diary 1/13. Pick it up and you will earn the following:

Move back towards the house and to the right of the deck's steps you will see a doghouse. Pick up the food bowl and you will earn the following:

Time to move inside. Backtrack to the front door and move inside the foyer to see Tesla dead on the floor. Pick up Tesla's Gun for Clue 3/19 and the broken handle for Clue 4/19. The clue for the broken handle may be glitched and not trigger at this point but I will point out another spot later in this chapter to try again (Thanks to NoHeroes94 for finding this). Move to the backside of the table with the gong and then pick up the mallet. Spin it around like you're trying to hit the gong and you'll unlock the following:

Move to the small room under the right staircase to find Mr. Swan's room. On the nightstand you'll find Photograph 1/10. Hanging on the wall in the corner, click on the mask to earn the following:

We'll be exploring the house in a counter-clockwise fashion. Go back out to the foyer and enter the room on the right side. This takes you into the library. In here you'll find Mundy sitting at the foot of the stairs. On the right side of the staircase is a globe with a piece of paper below it. Pick up the piece of paper to earn the following:

Turn around to find a small table with Tesla's Diary 2/13. In the bookshelves to the right of the table you will find the book, The Book of the Occult, which is Clue 5/19. Turn around again to see a desk with a chessboard and an automaton. On the desk you'll find Letter 1/9 from Sarah Burnhardt. Next to the letter pick up the letter opener for Clue 6/19.

There is a secret doorway under the stairs that is currently locked. For now let's exit into the hallway next to the automaton and turn right. Walk through the sunroom and into the kitchen. There's nothing to find in here for the moment except Mr. Swan cleaning. Go into the pantry on the left and you will see Newspaper Clip 1/10 "Sarah Bernhardt Knocks Them Dead" on a barrel in front of you. Further back in the pantry on the left is Letter 2/9, Mr. Swan's Contract of Servitude, and Tesla's Diary 3/13 on the barrel to the right.

Move back out into the kitchen and then through the next door into the dining room. On the bar to the left you will find Newspaper Clip 2/10, "Vanderberg Boy Drowns." On a small table against the far wall is a telephone. Pick this up for Clue 7/19.

Exit the room through the next door and hang a right into another hallway. On the right side of the hall you'll find an inlet with three more rooms. The first door on the right is the piano room. Inside the piano is Newspaper Clip 3/10, "The Man in Room 3327."

The room in the middle is the guest room. In the corner of the guest room's bathroom you'll find Letter 3/9 from Mundy. Move back into the guest room and on the far side you'll see some suitcases on the ground. Leaning up against them you'll find Tesla's Diary 4/13. On the nightstand next to the far bed you can pick up Photograph 2/10.

The third room is the study. On the dresser in the corner next to the window is Letter 4/9 from Vanderberg. In the opposite corner you'll find a slip of paper on top of some machinery. Pick it up to earn the following:

Go back out to the hallway and continue around the bend near the boarded up door. There is another secret entrance in the wall to your left but we'll be coming back to this later. The next room is the seance room. There's nothing to find here yet so continue through back into the foyer and up the staircase. Again we'll be moving around counter-clockwise through the second floor.

Follow the hall on your right and then take another right at the fork. The first door you see is a small bathroom. Nothing to see here so move on. Next to it is a small inlet with bookshelves. Sitting on the chair here is Tesla's Diary 5/13.

The last door in the corner near the staircase is Vanderberg's Room. On a dresser to the right you'll pick up Clue 8/19, the spirit radio. You'll find Vanderberg sitting at a small table holding a bottle of whiskey. Pick this up for Clue 9/19. Finally, on the nightstand in the corner you can find Photograph 3/10.

Exit the room and turn left down the hallway towards the back of the house. Here you'll find the Master Bedroom. On the floor next to the left side of the bed is Newspaper Clip 4/10, "Tesla's Dead." In the close on the dresser is Tesla's Diary 6/13. In the master bathroom on the radiator is Newspaper Clip 5/10, "Mundy Trial Erupts in Violence."

The room connected to the Master Bedroom is Tesla's Office. On the desk in front of you pick up Photograph 4/10. On the floor to the right of the desk is Newspaper Clip 6/10, "Where is Tesla?" On a canister next to the open door in the corner you can find Tesla's Diary 7/13.

Enter the open door next to the canisters to go into the Office Workshop. Immediately to you left on the shelves you'll find Photograph 5/10. In the back of the workshop on the left you can then pick up Tesla's Diary 8/13.

Exit the workshop and move across the room through the door next to the fireplace. This room is the Observatory. On the shelves to the left you can pick up Photograph 6/10. Turn around and pick up Tesla's Diary 9/13 from the floor on the right of the telescope. Click on the eyepiece for the telescope to earn the following:

Before exiting the room to the right under the window you'll find Letter 5/9 from Flora.

Exit the room into the hallway and move through the first door on your left into Burnhardt's Room. You should find Burnhardt lounging and reading a book. On a chest near the door you can pick up Newspaper Clip 7/10, "Disgraced Swedish Detective Quits." There's nothing left to see in the room yet so go back out to the hallway.

Move past the hallway split and skip the next room for now and go up the stairs to the Attic. As soon as you get to the top of the stairs you'll see another set of stairs closed off by a metal door. These lead up to the Roof. Head up those stairs real quick to get credit for exploring the roof but there's currently nothing to see here at the moment. Go back down to the attic and on a box under the roof stairs you can find Tesla's Diary 10/13. On a desk on the opposite wall you can pick up Photograph 7/10. In the back of the attic leaning up against the armoire is a canvas with the Deadlight logo on it. Click on it to earn the following:

Now turn towards the wall with the roof staircase and you'll see a small landing. Hold down cn_RT and aim your teleport to get up there. As soon as you land you'll see a small stuffed fox and earn the following:

Teleport back off the landing and head down the stairs to the second floor. Walk into the room immediately to your right to find Edison's Room. On the side table the moment you walk in the door you can find Newspaper Clip 8/10, "Where Does He Get His Ideas?" On a small desk to the left pick up Photograph 8/10. On the nightstand next to the bed you can find Letter 6/9 from Tesla. Edison will be sitting at the desk near the windows preparing to write something. Next to him on the desk is Letter 7/9 from J.P Morgan.

Leave Edison's room and take a hard right to go down the hallway back to the main entrance. You can move past the bathroom on your right but go into the Typewriter Room on your left just before the main staircase. Behind the door on the dresser is Photograph 9/10. On the desk with the typewriter is a library receipt. Pick it up to earn the following:

We are now done exploring what we can for the moment. Move back to the Docks where Gustaf is waiting and let's begin Chapter 1.

Now that we have a huge chunk of the collectables out of the way for the game we can get to the actual story. The way this game is laid out is each chapter exists within a short time frame, usually 10-20 minutes. Chapter 1, for example, starts at 5:49 PM and ends at 6:11 PM. During this time period scenes will unfold whether you're watching them or not. The goal is to watch each scene to get the complete story and unravel the mystery. At any point you can use the menu button to back out to the theater and move to a time frame of any scene we've already watched.

Characters share scenes with one another so you'll unlock scenes within each characters timeline simultaneously. For this walkthrough I'll list all timestamps for each character starting with Gustaf as he typically has the most scenes and will overlap with all of the other characters the most. For the subsequent characters I will only list new scenes they're in ultimately whittling down to all scenes viewed for each chapter.

You have the option to aim at a character and hit cn_LT to follow them. This will lock on to the character and give different camera angles as they move about and scenes unfold. Sometime the camera angles can be kind of funky but it's up to you on how you want to follow the story. As a side-note: if you don't really care about enjoying the story you can always lock on and speed up time essentially fast forwarding through the game. You'll still get credit for each scene but this is an excellent story that I can't recommend more.

I'll do my best to remain spoiler-free and give vague details on the topics of each scene as more of a guideline.

Alright... Enough chit chat. Let's get to the walkthrough.

Gustaf

Gustaf has a total of 7 scenes in Chapter 1. Since we paused as soon as he got on the docks to explore let's head back there to watch the Chapter play out.

Scene 1 - 5:49: Docks

Gustaf arrives on the docks by boat and you follow him up to the house

Scene 2 - 5:52: Gazebo

Gustaf meets Flora at the gazebo. Then they head to the house

Scene 3 - 5:55: Foyer

Gustaf and Flora find Tesla. The other occupants are notified to come to the foyer as well. After this scene try picking up the broken handle again (Clue 4/19) if it did not register for you in the exploration part.

Scene 4 - 5:58: Foyer

Gustaf starts his investigation and most of the characters are introduced to one another. At one point Gustaf asks Edison for the time. When he pulls out his pocket watch you can click on it for Clue 10/19.

Scene 5 - 6:01: Front Porch

Gustaf catches Mundy trying to escape. This is your chance to click on Gustav's Pistol for Clue 11/19.

Scene 6 - 6:02: Dining Room

Mr. Swan leads Gustaf, Flora, and Mundy into the dining room. Gustaf searches Mundy and pulls out Mundy's Will Clue 12/19.

Scene 7 - 6:05: Dining Room

Gustaf entrusts Flora with Tesla's Gun and proceeds to interrogate Mundy. After the conversation the first Episode comes to a close. Time to move on to the next character, Flora.

Flora

Flora has a total of 6 scenes in Chapter 1. For most of the chapter Flora shares her scenes with Gustaf and her first five are already marked off. At this point you can rewind from Gustaf's last scene to when he hands her the gun or use the pause menu to go back to Gustaf Scene 7 around the 6:05 time frame and follow her from there.

Scene 6 - 6:08: Secret Workshop

After Gustaf gives the gun to Flora she takes off down the hallway towards the 3-room inlet and past the boarded up door. She'll then open a secret door in the wall giving us access to the Secret Workshop in the basement. Before following her down the stairs go to the left once entering the secret door and on the shelf you can find Tesla's Diary 11/13. Now head down the stairs into the secret workshop and you will unlock the following two achievements:

Once you enter the room you will see a giant Tesla coil in the middle of the room. Next to it is a green crate with Tesla's Diary 12/13 on top. Now move past the Tesla coil to the first desk across the room and you'll find Photograph 10/10 unlocking the following:

Then move to the next desk over to find Letter 8/9.

Now watch the scene with her and the locked door.

Mundy

Mundy has a total of 3 scenes in Chapter 1. So far we've already watch 2 of his 3 so this one should be fairly quick. Go to the pause screen and load up Gustaf's 3rd scene at 5:55.

Scene 1 - 5:56: Library

As soon as the scene loads up move into the Library. Mundy will hear the commotion of Gustaf and Flora finding Tesla's body and then try to make an escape out the window.

Scene 2-3: Already watched

Swan / Vanderberg

Swan has a total of 3 scenes in Chapter 1 and Vanderberg has 2. I've grouped these two together in this next part because they both share their final scenes together for this chapter. To get their final scene go to the end of Swan's 2nd scene that starts around 6:02 with himself, Gustaf and Flora.

Scene 3 (Swan) / Scene 2 (Vanderberg) - 6:05: Vanderberg's Room

After Swan leads Gustaf, Flora, and Mundy to the Dining Room follow him out and he eventually makes his way up to Vanderberg's Room and watch the scene unfold.

Edison

Edison has a total of 5 scenes in Chapter 1. We've only watched his first one so far. The quickest checkpoint is to go to Gustaf's fifth scene around 6:01 and stay in the Foyer.

After the commotion in the Foyer with Mundy, Edison and Bernhardt have a conversation

Scene 3 - 6:05: Library

Watch Edison approach the Automaton in the library and play a game of chess to earn the following:

Scene 4 - 6:09: Vanderberg's Bedroom

Edison decides to sample some of Vanderberg's drink.

Scene 5 - 6:10: Vanderberg's Bedroom

This scene follows up directly from the last so as long as you didn't stop watching you'll get it. This is a scene with Bernhardt.

Bernhardt

Bernhardt has a total of 4 scenes in Chapter 1. We've already watched 3 of them and the 4th will net us a misc. achievement. For this portion, rewind to the end of her second scene at 6:02 with Edison in the Foyer.

Scene 3 - 6:04: Bernhardt's Bedroom

After the conversation with Edison in the Foyer, you'll follow Bernhardt back to her room and a scene will play out at her desk. After watching the shocking revelation you will earn the following achievement:

Upon watching Bernhardt's 3rd scene you should also unlock the following for watching all scenes in Chapter 1:

Time to move on to Chapter 2...

Chapter 1 was the longest chapter in the game and each subsequent chapter tends to get shorter and shorter. Chapter 2 runs over the timeframe of 17min from 6:11 to 6:28. There are a total of 4 new clues and 35 total scenes. Most of these scenes overlap, especially in this chapter, as the groups tend to stick together.

When the chapter starts freeze time right away and go to the Foyer. This is the most consistent time to get Clue 13/19, Mundy's Knife. You should see it sticking out of his boot as he's climbing the stairs. If you don't see it you'll have plenty of chances throughout the game as he likes to pull it out from time to time but it doesn't always appear consistently.

Now head back to the Dining Room and let's continue the story with Gustaf.

Gustaf

Gustaf has a total of 6 scenes in Chapter 2. He won't typically go off on his own through the story so he'll be sharing a majority of his scenes with other characters.

Scene 1 - 6:11: Dining Room

Gustaf chats with Flora and decides to interrogate everyone to find the killer.

Scene 2 - 6:13: Dining Room

Gustaf questions Edison.

Scene 3 - 6:16: Foyer

Edison produces his alibi with Vanderberg. As a side note, you'll see Vanderberg holding a contraption. This is the spirit radio. We'll be coming back to this near the end of the game but it's good to know what you're looking for.

Scene 4 - 6:19: Dining Room

Gustaf proceeds to interrogate Bernhardt next. While he's questioning her he smells something burning and rushes up to Tesla's Office.

Scene 5 - 6:23: Tesla's Office

Gustaf pulls a scrap of paper out of the fireplace. This scrap is Clue 14/19.

Scene 6 - 6:26: Dining Room

Gustaf and Bernhardt catch Vanderberg in a lie.

Flora

Flora has a total of 5 scenes in Chapter 2. With the exception of the first scene with Gustaf all of her scenes are new. For this chapter we'll use the same tactic we normally use with Gustaf and just follow her around from the start until her final scene.

Flora threatens Swan

Flora remains on the struggle bus with the door in the basement.

Scene 4 - 6:19: Seance Room

Edison questions both Flora and Swan in the Seance Room.

Scene 5 - 6:24: Kitchen

This scene is a conversation between Flora and Swan in the kitchen. As soon as this scene starts up pause it and see what Swan is doing inside the fridge. Here you can find Clue 15/19, The Carving Knife.

Swan

Swan has a total of 4 scenes in Chapter 2. Only his first scene at the start of the chapter is new so head up to Tesla's Office at the start and find a new clue.

Scene 1 - 6:11: Tesla's Office

As soon as the scene starts you'll find Swan opening a secret safe in the wall and pulling out Clue 16/19, Tesla's Will.

Scenes 2-4: Already watched

Vanderberg

Vanderberg has a total of 6 scenes in Chapter 2, two of which we've already seen. As with Swan, Gustaf, and Flora, Vanderberg's first scene starts at the beginning of Chapter 2 so load up Gustaf's first chapter, pause, and make your way to the Library.

Vanderberg is cleaning up Edison's mess in the Library and finds a secret door to the Secret Workshop. Edison makes a quick appearance to question Vanderberg before rushing off.

Vanderberg explores the secret workshop.

Scene 3 - 6:16: Already watched (with Gustaf)

Scene 4 - 6:19: Library

Mundy and Vanderberg have a conversation about the spirit radio in the library.

Vanderberg and Bernhardt speak about the past.

Scene 6 - 6:26: Already watched (with Gustaf)

Mundy

Mundy has a total of 3 scenes in Chapter 2, one of which we've already watched. At the beginning of the chapter make your way up to the hallway outside of Bernhardt's Room.

This scene has Mundy and Bernhardt reciting some Shakespeare. Once they're done the following achievement will unlock:

After the scene concludes you can skip forward to Gustaf's final scene and work your way to to the Foyer.

Mundy and Edison have a quick chat about the spirit radio which then closes out the chapter.

Edison/Berhardt

Edison has a total of 6 scenes and Berhardt has a total of 5 scenes in Chapter 2 all of which you've already watched.

The start of Chapter 3 is essentially the halfway point through the game. The chapter spans over 11 minutes from 6:28 to 6:39. Chapter 3 has 2 additional clues and a total of 26 individual scenes.

Gustaf

Gustaf has 4 total scenes in Chapter 3. As usual the chapter starts with Gustaf in the Dining Room doing some detective work.

Gustaf questions Swan about the guests.

Scene 2 - 6:32: Foyer

Gustaf re-examines the crime scene.

Scene 3 - 6:33: Foyer

Gustaf, Mundy, and Bernhardt attempt to locate the source of Flora's scream.

Scene 4 - 6:35: Secret Workshop

The group make their way down to the secret workshop and find Vanderberg. On the ground near him you can find a poison bottle for Clue 17/19.

Flora

Scene 1 - 6:29: Seance Room

Flora, Bernhardt, and Mundy perform a seance.

Scene 2 - 6:31: Seance Room

Flora becomes uncomfortable during the seance and heads to the Secret Workshop. This leads straight into her next scene so just keep following her.

Scene 3 - 6:33: Secret Workshop

Flora finds Vanderberg's body. Eventually everyone shows up for the final scene.

Scene 4 - Already watched (with Everyone)

Bernhardt/Mundy

Bernhardt and Mundy share every scene with each other in this chapter and by following this guide you should already have all of the scenes for both of them.

Swan

Swan has a total of 4 scenes this chapter, 2 of which we've already watched. It's probably easiest to skip back to Swans's first scene with Gustaf and just follow him afterwards to the Generators.

Swan turns off the generators. From here he takes a roundabout way to get into the Kitchen so it might be easier to just get there yourself and fast-forward until he starts crawling through the window.

Edison catches Swan coming in through the window.

Scene 4 - Already watched (with Everyone)

Edison/Vanderberg

Vanderberg only has a total of two scenes in this chapter and he shares both of them with Edison.

Scene 1 - 6:28: Library

In the first scene Vanderberg shows Edison his pocketwatch for Clue 18/19.

Scene 2 - 6:30: Secret Workshop

We already know what's about to happen but now we need to see how it played out. After the scene you'll unlock the following:

Chapter 4 is another short chapter spanning a 12-minute timetable from 6:58 to 7:10. We're gonna watch the scenes in a slightly different order by watching Flora last this time around as her final scene instantly starts the next chapter. This chapter will also get the remaining collectibles except one, which we will get in the wrap-up. There's a total of 4 collectibles in this chapter and a total of 20 individual scenes.

Also, unlike the first three chapters, this chapter takes place 20min after Chapter 3 so everyone will be in different locations from the last chapter's conclusion. As usual we'll start with Gustaf who can be found in the Foyer.

Gustaf has a total of 3 scenes that start off in the Foyer.

Edison

Edison spins up a tale for Bernhardt in the Master Bedroom. After this scene continue to follow Bernhardt to continue her storyline.

Scene 2-3: Already watched (with Gustaf)

Bernhardt

Bernhardt has a total of 4 scenes that pick up directly from the last scene you watched with Edison.

Scene 2 - 7:01: Kitchen

Bernhardt searches for something to defend herself with.

Scene 3 - 7:02: Foyer

Bernhardt comes face to face with Mundy on the staircase. Things totally don't get awkward here...

Scene 4 - 7:05: Roof

Up on the roof you'll see the final confrontation between Bernhardt and Mundy finishing both of their storylines. At the scene's conclusion you'll earn the following:

Mundy

Mundy has a total of 4 scenes. We've already seen the last two so let's see what led up to them.

Scene 1 - 6:58: Bathroom (by Vanderberg's Room)

Mundy has an internal conflict on what to do.

Scene 2 - 7:00: Bernhardt's Room

Mundy goes to reveal his feelings to Bernhardt and finds her true identity. Click on the passport for the final clue giving you Clue 19/19 netting you the following achievement:

Scene 3-4: Already watched (with Bernhardt)

Swan

Swan has a total of 3 scenes which haven't been watched yet. You can skip back to Gustaf's first scene, pause, and make your way to the Dining Room.

Scene 1 - 6:58: Dining Room

Swan attempts to call the police again.

Scene 2 - 7:01: Secret Workshop

Swan pleads with Flora for the gun. Make sure to follow Swan out of the Secret Workshop after this scene so the chapter doesn't end early.

Scene 3 - 7:09: Seance Room

Swan sees the final confrontation from the window of the Seance Room.

Flora

Flora has a total of 3 scenes and you can find 3 collectibles. Move your way back to the end of her second scene which leads straight into the third in the Secret Workshop.

Scene 3 - 7:04: Secret Workshop

After getting the Basement door open, Flora starts going inside. This is a good point to freeze time and explore the Basement to get a few more collectibles. On the way down the stairs keep an eye out at one of the corners to your right and you'll find Letter 9/9 earning you the following achievement:

Once you reach the bottom of the stairs, before you go into the next room look in the alcove to your left for Tesla's Diary 13/13 earning you the following achievement:

Now move into the final room and look on the ground behind one of the pillars to find Newspaper 9/10. Now move back up the stairs and follow Flora to the conclusion of this chapter. This will earn you the following two achievements before moving on to the final chapter:

Chapter 0

The final chapter, Chapter 0, will go by really quick. In this chapter you only have to watch a total of 3 scenes. Just follow Flora from the start of the chapter and at the end of the third scene you'll unlock the following:

The End?

After you discover who killed Tesla we'll have to travel around a few chapters to get the true ending and net us that sweet, sweet 100%. Before you move on to do that let's earn our last miscellaneous achievement in Chapter 0.

Rewind to the very beginning of Chapter 0, freeze time, and make your way to the Piano Room. This achievement can actually be a bit temperamental so you may need to try the steps a few times in order for it to pop. Pick up the sheet music from the piano and inspect it. Now back out of it and move your way to the docks where we first met Gustaf. Unfreeze the game and if it decides it wants to work you'll hear soft piano music playing as you see the boat making its way to the dock and the following achievement will unlock:

If it didn't pop for you then rewind time back to the start and try it again. It personally took me three tries before it unlocked but it will eventually unlock.

The Medium

Now we have three steps in order to unlock the true ending of the game. These have to be done at specific times in the chapters at the time of death of some of the main characters. When each one happens you'll be able to interact with the spirit radio.

The first step is to go to Chapter 4, Scene 4 for either Mundy or Bernhardt. Right before Mundy is struck by lightning on the Roof freeze the game and make your way down to the Seance Room where you'll find the spirit radio on the table. Now unfreeze and wait for Mundy's inevitable death and the spirit radio will light up. Click on it and listen to the transmission.

Now move to Chapter 3, Scene 2 for either Edison or Vanderberg. Same deal as before. Freeze time, make your way to the Seance Room and unfreeze until the spirit radio lights up again.

The last step is to go back to Chapter 0, Scene 3 for Flora, or Scene 2 for Tesla and then find your way up to the small library between Vanderberg's Room and the Bathroom. This is where you'll find the spirit radio before it gets moved around the house by Vanderberg and Mundy. Listen to the final transmission at the moment of Tesla's death and you'll earn the following achievement:

The End

With The Medium achievement complete we can finally see the true ending and earn our last two achievements.

Back out to the theater and move into the museum area. Off to the right you'll see a door that you can now enter. Upon entering it you will earn the following achievement:

Look around the room and on the desk you will spot the final Newspaper clip, Newspaper 10/10, netting you the final achievement:

Now finish up the crazy twist ending and enjoy your 1000 Achievement points!
