Tom Clancy's The Division 2

Welcome to the walkthrough of The Division 2. In this guide I'll be covering the most efficient way to progress through the achievement list. Almost every activity in the game can be played solo if you prefer and based on your skill level, but everything has matchmaking for those who prefer co-op. I'd say around 80-85% of the list can be completed solo with some skill or perseverance, with only a few achievements actively requiring co-op or versus play.

Most achievements will be unlocked while progressing through the main missions, while some of them only come into play after reaching level 30 and completing the story. Overall, you should need anywhere between 60 and 100 hours for this completion depending on your efficiency.

I want to start off here with two notes on buggy achievements which are listed below.

A Friend in Need in Tom Clancy's The Division 2
Respond to a call for help and revive the agent.
  • Unlocked by 7,774 tracked gamers (13% - TA Ratio = 2.71) 57,634

This achievement is currently rather buggy and most likely will not unlock for you when it should. One method that can be tried is equipping the Reviver Hive skill, answering a call for backup and then downing yourself to get a revive that way. You may need to answer a lot of backup calls before you finally earn this achievement.

Group Therapy in Tom Clancy's The Division 2
Take over a control point in a group without anyone being downed.
  • Unlocked by 36,946 tracked gamers (64% - TA Ratio = 1.24) 57,634

This achievement is also buggy according to Ubisoft, but it seems to unlock much more reliably than the achievement above.

One thing to keep in mind as you're leveling up and playing through the story is to explore the world. There's a lot of items hidden in back alleys and the underground such as SHD Tech Caches to unlock more perks and skill variants as well as gear crates. Also, take over control points and give the officers resources to work on liberation projects you get from region safehouses.

Small note: the White House and Downtown West regions don't have safehouses. The Downtown West area does have a liberation project however.

Speaking of liberation projects: completing these gives you a bounty for the region boss. These bounties are relatively short combat scenarios that take place in certain open world locations. Completing all liberation projects and their associated bounties is the easiest way to obtain this achievement:

Big Game Hunter in Tom Clancy's The Division 2
Complete a bounty from each safe house.
  • Unlocked by 6,088 tracked gamers (11% - TA Ratio = 3.07) 57,634

I will go into more detail on this during the story walkthrough.

And without further ado, let's dive in.

You start in the character creator. Here you can customize your character to look the way you want him/her to. After creating your character, you head outside into your settlement just as bandits are attacking the place. Clear them out and at the end you'll be prompted to revive a downed NPC. This triggers a rather long cutscene sequence where you're prompted to leave for Washington DC in order to investigate the SHD distress signal. When the title card sequence is over, you are immediately thrown into a mission, Dawn's Early Light. During this, you are introduced to the first main enemy faction, the Hyenas, as you're fighting through them to reach the White House. On arrival, you're prompted to visit the Division Coordinator upstairs. When that's finished, head down to the Quartermaster and get your first perks. Acquiring the Weapon Slot perk is mandatory, but besides that I'd advise to get the second skill slot as a preparation.

Now you're given the task to meet Odessa Sawyer in the Theater settlement. Make your way there and along the way you'll have the chance to earn your first achievement of the game. Simply run up to a car hood and press cn_B just before hitting it to slide over it.

TV Cop in Tom Clancy's The Division 2
TV Cop6 (5)
Perform a slide across the hood of a car.
  • Unlocked by 42,757 tracked gamers (74% - TA Ratio = 1.15) 57,634

Continue to the Theater settlement and you'll be able to get your first true main mission, Grand Washington Hotel. Here you're tasked with battling through the hotel to save Odessa's daughter. The mission is fairly straightforward, but I want to give special attention to the rooftop fight. There you'll fight Saint, the named boss of the mission and the first tank you'll encounter. If you break all his armour before killing him (both arms, chest, helmet and both legs), you'll earn an achievement:

Undressed to Kill in Tom Clancy's The Division 2
Destroy every piece of a tank's armor, then eliminate the tank.
  • Unlocked by 10,522 tracked gamers (18% - TA Ratio = 2.33) 57,634

If you don't get that achievement now, don't fret. There are plenty more tanks you'll encounter throughout the game

After the rooftop sequence, head down to the atrium and get on the minigun. Kill every enemy and clear the objective using the minigun and you'll earn a commendation. Once the mission is complete, another achievement is yours:

Checking In in Tom Clancy's The Division 2
Rescue Eleanor Sawyer from the Hyenas in the Grand Washington Hotel. (Secret)
  • Unlocked by 56,470 tracked gamers (98% - TA Ratio = 1.00) 57,634

Now you can go back to the White House and choose your second skill. If you're a soloist, I'd advise to pick up the Reviver variant of the Hive. Alongside the Reinforcer Chem Launcher it will drastically help you survive difficult encounters as the reviver automatically deploys when you go down if it's not on cooldown. Now check your map and you'll see an undiscovered safehouse in the Downtown East area. Head there and interact with the laptop to get the liberation project. This will mark all SHD Tech caches in the region on your map as well.

Each liberation project is essentially the same: collect SHD tech, complete 3 activities and donate 50 resources to control points in the region. When completing all liberation projects, you get a bounty to kill the region "boss". The regions you need to complete these projects in are:

  • Downtown East (level 2-7)
  • Federal Triangle (level 4-8)
  • East Mall (level 7-11)
  • Southwest (level 11-15)
  • Downtown West (level 15-18)
  • Constitution Hall (level 17-21)
  • West Potomac Park (level 19-23)
  • Foggy Bottom (level 21-25)
  • West End (level 23-27)
  • Judiciary Square (level 25-29)

Downtown West does not have a safehouse, but does have a liberation project. Therefore you can pass up on the Downtown West boss bounty, but since it's a good source of XP outside of side missions I'll advise you to do it anyway.

When you've completed the liberation projects of these regions and their associated bounties, you'll unlock the following achievement:

Big Game Hunter in Tom Clancy's The Division 2
Complete a bounty from each safe house.
  • Unlocked by 6,088 tracked gamers (11% - TA Ratio = 3.07) 57,634

For now, I'd advise to complete the Downtown East liberation project and then move on to the next main mission, Jefferson Trade Center.

This is one of the easier main missions and is clear with its objectives. One location of note is the Hyenas chest tucked away in the back right corner of the room immediately following the last garage section. You probably don't have a key to open it yet, but that chest can drop an exotic crafting component and I will refer back to it later for that reason.

While completing this project, you'll have to capture a control point in order to donate resources to that control point. If you capture that control point with at least one other player without any of you going down, you'll earn an achievement:

Group Therapy in Tom Clancy's The Division 2
Take over a control point in a group without anyone being downed.
  • Unlocked by 36,946 tracked gamers (64% - TA Ratio = 1.24) 57,634

Afterwards, don't fill up the supplies of the control point you've captured. Instead, wait for a group of civilians to go and collect resources and tag along. When they are at their destination, stand near the civilian collecting resources and hold cn_X to give them the resources that they need. This will net you another achievement:

Resourceful Agent in Tom Clancy's The Division 2
Help friendlies in resource gathering.
  • Unlocked by 16,195 tracked gamers (28% - TA Ratio = 1.88) 57,634

By now you should have some SHD tech to purchase perks or skill variants at the Quartermaster. My advice would be to get all the Accolade perks you can, since these will help you level up faster. If you still have leftover SHD Tech, you can also get the Restock perks, the Armor Kit 1 perk and the Inventory 1 perk.

Here, I'd advise to do some open world activities and clean out your map a bit until you reach level 6 before starting the next main mission, ViewPoint Museum. This mission is straightforward until you get to your first objective defense section. The goal is to kill all waves of enemies that are trying to destroy the objective. Those waves can come from unexpected directions and have high ground advantage on you. After this section, you also get the first timed section of the game. You need to destroy three EMP jammers while fighting off constant waves of enemies within three minutes. When all three jammers are destroyed, the boss will spawn. He's a quite tanky enemy that also has a helmet on that shields him against headshots until it breaks. When this boss is dead, no more enemies will spawn and clearing out the room will finish the mission and get you another achievement:

Getting the Word Out in Tom Clancy's The Division 2
Seize control of the ViewPoint Museum from the True Sons. (Secret)
  • Unlocked by 44,658 tracked gamers (77% - TA Ratio = 1.13) 57,634

Now, fast travel back to the Theater and talk to Grace Larson to unlock your next Base of Operations feature: clans. There is an achievement for being in a clan, so either create your own or join an existing clan like one of the TrueAchievements ones for this:

Strength in Numbers in Tom Clancy's The Division 2
Create or join a clan.
  • Unlocked by 34,469 tracked gamers (60% - TA Ratio = 1.29) 57,634

You are likely not yet level 8 for this, so head down to the safehouse and get the liberation project. Afterwards, you can capture some control points and do other activities in the area until you are level 8. Then it's time for the next main mission, American History Museum.

This mission is a bit longer than the previous ones and is the only one where you are fighting two factions simultaneously. One major thing to note is that medics are introduced in this mission. They have the capability to revive enemies you've killed, but shooting their defibrillator prevents that. Also, doing that once will get you another achievement:

Negative Ramos! in Tom Clancy's The Division 2
Shock enemy medics by shooting their defibrillator.
  • Unlocked by 40,297 tracked gamers (70% - TA Ratio = 1.19) 57,634

Play through the mission and at the end of it yet another achievement is waiting for you:

Jailbreak in Tom Clancy's The Division 2
Jailbreak23 (20)
Recover interrogation data from the American History Museum. (Secret)
  • Unlocked by 42,376 tracked gamers (74% - TA Ratio = 1.16) 57,634

Again, it's best to do open world activities until you are level 10 for the last Theater main mission, Air & Space Museum. Play through the mission as you did with the others. If you care about vanity, there's a hidden backpack charm in this mission. When the True Sons crash a space shuttle into the floor to try and halt your progress, walk up to the three circles on its right side (the side facing you when the shuttle is crashed) and hold cn_X for the Space Shuttle charm. Upon completing this mission, you get two side missions that involve talking to people at various settlements. And since you're likely level 11 at this point, let's move on to the next page.

After completing the Air & Space Museum, you have some new side objectives marked on the map. Odessa Sawyer at the Theater only gives a side mission upon speaking to her, but the other two are necessary to do for story progression. Since the Campus objective is in an area that is best suited for characters at level 15 and up, we're leaving that and instead are heading to the Castle settlement. Upon arrival, you discover that the True Sons have used a chemical rocket to nearly wipe the settlement out, which leads you to a main mission. However, the recommended level here is 14, so focus your attention on Space Administration HQ first. Work on the area liberation project to gain some XP until you are level 12. When you are, start the mission. About halfway through, you are tasked with aligning three satellite dishes. The best strategy for dealing with this is to kill all enemies before starting to align a dish. New enemies will spawn when you have one mostly aligned, but finishing the alignment is the safest way. Once that's over with, it's fairly straightforward until the mission ends. After completing the mission, you earn another achievement for your troubles:

Global Communications in Tom Clancy's The Division 2
Reestablish the SHD Satellite Network at the Space Administration HQ. (Secret)
  • Unlocked by 37,221 tracked gamers (65% - TA Ratio = 1.24) 57,634

Up next, it's best advised to get to level 14 by doing the Southwest liberation project and its associated bounty. When you've reached level 14, it's time for Jefferson Plaza. During this mission, there are various poison traps that will bypass your armour, directly dealing damage to health. This mission is also the only mission that has no unlocks of any kind related to settlements or achievements, so it's one you need to get through for story purposes only. After mission completion, you're likely level 15 and you can start making your way towards the Campus settlement to start working on upgrading that.

First, you have to talk to the settlement leader, Henry Hayes. This will lead you to multiple new main missions. While you're at the Campus, you can also pick up the liberation project for some extra XP. I advise to work on that until you are level 16 so you're at the recommended level for the next main mission, Bank Headquarters. This mission will see you fight the Hyenas inside a bank. One location to note inside is a white panel with a hidden button after you kill the first boss, Rebound. This gives you a keycard to open the left section of the bank vault later in the mission. I will also point this out later in this walkthrough since it's a relatively easy way to another achievement. When you've finished the mission, you unlock an achievement:

Opening the Vault in Tom Clancy's The Division 2
Discover what the Hyenas stole from Air Force One. (Secret)
  • Unlocked by 34,860 tracked gamers (60% - TA Ratio = 1.28) 57,634

Keep on doing open world activities until you are level 18, by which you can best do the DCD Headquarters mission. This mission introduces the Outcasts, the survivors of a failed quarantine who are hell-bent on getting revenge. One unit in particular to watch out for are the rushers, since they will blow themselves up when close to you and deal massive damage. At mission completion, an achievement awaits:

Sick Note in Tom Clancy's The Division 2
Sick Note26 (20)
Shut down Outcast activity at the DCD Headquarters. (Secret)
  • Unlocked by 34,012 tracked gamers (59% - TA Ratio = 1.29) 57,634

Now you can unlock all skills in the Base of Operations, so I suggest you do that and then use all eight of them for an achievement:

King of the Skill in Tom Clancy's The Division 2
Equip and use each skill.
  • Unlocked by 10,554 tracked gamers (18% - TA Ratio = 2.33) 57,634

Start working on the West Potomac Park liberation project if you haven't already to level up. Besides that, I advise doing the Outcast Propaganda Outpost side mission to reveal a control point. When you are level 20, you can start doing the Lincoln Memorial mission. This is as usual a fairly straightforward mission, so keep clearing areas until you get to the boss. The boss of this mission is a "tank" archetype with a flamethrower and will chase you aggressively, aided by temporary immunity. Pay attention to three exclamation marks and shoot him when he doesn't have said marks. Eventually, he will die and you can take the elevator back up to complete the mission.

As you are likely at or close to level 21, let's move on to the next section.

Keep doing the West Potomac Park liberation project and its associated bounty to level up. If you've also been handing in other projects as you're playing through, you might unlock an achievement quite early:

Crafty Collector in Tom Clancy's The Division 2
Collect 20 blueprints.
  • Unlocked by 36,025 tracked gamers (63% - TA Ratio = 1.26) 57,634

If you don't have it at this point in time, don't fret as you can easily earn a lot of blueprints later on in the game.

If you have been doing projects as you're going, you may also have this achievement:

Project Management in Tom Clancy's The Division 2
Complete a project for both the Theater and Campus settlements.
  • Unlocked by 31,286 tracked gamers (54% - TA Ratio = 1.35) 57,634

If you don't, it's easy: complete one project for both active settlements and the above achievement is yours.

At level 22, you can go and do the Potomac Event Center mission. This is one of the longer missions in the game and sees you fighting Outcasts in the titular event center as you're racing to capture one of their strategists. There is one area before you enter the building itself that can prove quite challenging due to a lot of enemies coming at you from all sides. At mission completion, you'll unlock two achievements, one for the mission and one for getting all major settlement upgrades:

Strategic Extraction in Tom Clancy's The Division 2
Capture the Outcasts' Chief Strategist at the Potomac Event Center. (Secret)
  • Unlocked by 31,451 tracked gamers (55% - TA Ratio = 1.35) 57,634

Rebuilding DC in Tom Clancy's The Division 2
Fully upgrade all settlements.
  • Unlocked by 30,811 tracked gamers (53% - TA Ratio = 1.36) 57,634

Now you can best work on the Foggy Bottom liberation project. As you're doing that, you are quite likely to come across your twentieth control point on the map, which is its own achievement:

Command and Control in Tom Clancy's The Division 2
Discover 20 control points in DC.
  • Unlocked by 33,359 tracked gamers (58% - TA Ratio = 1.31) 57,634

At level 24, you can finally do the last of the SHD missions: Federal Emergency Bunker. This is a mission as usual until you get to the boss room. Eventually, a named Outcast tank shows up behind a windowed door and will start bashing in the window. This bashing is time-based and you'll have to kill waves of enemies during that timer. A few minutes after he starts, he'll break through and you'll have the opportunity to kill him. After doing so and talking to the survivor, you'll get yet another achievement:

Bunker Buster in Tom Clancy's The Division 2
Recover essential SHD Network equipment from the Federal Emergency Bunker. (Secret)
  • Unlocked by 31,467 tracked gamers (55% - TA Ratio = 1.35) 57,634

Now it's time to level up again in preparation of the strongholds, the first of which will be for the Hyenas. One activity I'll recommend is capturing the Taxi Graveyard control point. This is because it's otherwise a really long walk towards the starting point of the Outcast stronghold and the way towards it always has multiple enemy groups. Otherwise, keep doing the liberation projects you're missing. When you've done your last one and completed the bounty tagged to it, an achievement is yours:

Big Game Hunter in Tom Clancy's The Division 2
Complete a bounty from each safe house.
  • Unlocked by 6,088 tracked gamers (11% - TA Ratio = 3.07) 57,634

At level 26, you can start the District Union Arena stronghold. Strongholds are essentially longer regular missions with some twists. Here, the twist is in the garage. There's a boss you need to kill inside it, but to do so you have to break the armoured car he's in. Doing so will force him out of it and allow you to directly damage him. When you've finished this stronghold, an achievement is yours:

Season Ticket in Tom Clancy's The Division 2
Eliminate the Hyena council in the District Union Arena. (Secret)
  • Unlocked by 29,635 tracked gamers (51% - TA Ratio = 1.39) 57,634

A bit later, at level 28, you'll be at the level of the next stronghold, Roosevelt Island. To start this, fast travel to the Taxi Graveyard control point if you've captured it and then run westward down the bridge. If you get killed on it, respawn at the control point and try again. The stronghold itself is quite self-explanatory for the most part, but there are a few hurdles. There are some gas tanks you need to break during the mission. There also will be mounted miniguns close to those tanks, use them. Otherwise it will take you a lot of time and bullets to destroy them. And in the final area, you'll have to face off a lot of waves while destroying those tanks. The best option is to clear them all out before you do so, since a tank destruction will spawn more waves in. When both tanks in that area are destroyed, there will be one final wave to kill before you can sabotage the objective, complete the mission and earn an achievement:

Into the Wilderness in Tom Clancy's The Division 2
Take down the Outcast stronghold on Roosevelt Island. (Secret)
  • Unlocked by 29,067 tracked gamers (50% - TA Ratio = 1.40) 57,634

Now, it's mainly a job to level up to the cap of 30, which will grant you an achievement:

Next Level Operative in Tom Clancy's The Division 2
Reach Level 30.
  • Unlocked by 29,490 tracked gamers (51% - TA Ratio = 1.39) 57,634

So now you're level 30 and you've unlocked the Capitol Building stronghold. You want to do it as soon as you can so you can start working towards the endgame achievements. However, don't do that just yet. It will make a different achievement more annoying to obtain. Because after you complete the Capitol mission, a new faction appears. And that means that the "Suits You, Sir!" achievement will take longer to obtain, up to 6 hours longer if you're unlucky.

To work on this achievement, you can check out the following location every half hour: directly south of the White House, on the north side of the circular road. If you're having no luck there, you can also fast travel to Federal Emergency Bunker and check the rotunda directly west of the mission entrances. You can find a friend who's at the same stage as you and get boss kills in each other's world to help you progress faster. Repeat this until you have all the cards from one faction (either Hyenas, True Sons or Outcasts) and you'll earn yourself the only random achievement in the game:

Suits You, Sir! in Tom Clancy's The Division 2
Collect any suit of cards in the open world.
  • Unlocked by 3,392 tracked gamers (6% - TA Ratio = 4.11) 57,634

Only after obtaining this achievement it's advised to start the Capitol Building stronghold. Fight your way through the building and you'll come in a courtyard with two SAM sites. Disable both sites by being in close proximity for an extended period while defending your position. When both sites are disabled, the boss will show up. Kill the boss and any remaining enemies and then run back to the front of the building after collecting your loot. This will finish the mission, unlock the World Tier system and grant an achievement:

State of the Union in Tom Clancy's The Division 2
Drive the True Sons out of the Capitol building. (Secret)
  • Unlocked by 28,261 tracked gamers (49% - TA Ratio = 1.42) 57,634

General advice: Equip everything that gives you a higher gear score for the following section until you're at around 490 score.

Congratulations, you have reached level 30 and kicked the True Sons out of the Capitol. However, that means that a new faction, the Black Tusk, starts invading Washington DC. Their advanced tech calls for some more serious firepower and that means that the quartermaster will call you back to base. You'll get the option to pick a specialization. Doing so unlocks an achievement:

Specialized in Tom Clancy's The Division 2
Equip your first specialization.
  • Unlocked by 27,789 tracked gamers (48% - TA Ratio = 1.43) 57,634

The next achievement requires you to kill an enemy with each signature weapon (TAC-50, Crossbow, M32 Grenade Launcher.) You may need to kill some enemies the normal way before you have signature ammo. Start with the TAC-50 and when you have a signature round, bury that in an enemy's head for the first step in this achievement. Then switch to the Demolitionist in the base and kill an enemy with that signature weapon. Finally, swap to Survivalist and kill an enemy by shooting him in the leg. Red bar enemies are the safest option for this. When you've killed an enemy with all these signature weapons, an achievement will unlock for you:

Autograph Hunter in Tom Clancy's The Division 2
Kill one enemy with each of the signature weapons (crossbow, sniper rifle & grenade launcher).
  • Unlocked by 10,768 tracked gamers (19% - TA Ratio = 2.30) 57,634

Keep Survivalist active and shoot 9 more enemies in the leg with the crossbow for a familiar-sounding achievement:

Arrow to the Knee in Tom Clancy's The Division 2
Shoot 10 enemies in the leg with a crossbow.
  • Unlocked by 5,359 tracked gamers (9% - TA Ratio = 3.27) 57,634

Now it's best advised to pick the specialization tree you want and start working through the world tiers. In order for the most efficient progress on the next achievement, you need to only get the level 1 upgrade of a perk in the spec tree if the perk has multiple levels. For weapon type damage perks, max out the node that has an attachment locked behind it. In total, you need to get 85 points in the specialization of your choice. When you've invested the spec points as outlined above, you'll get an achievement for your troubles:

Best of the Best in Tom Clancy's The Division 2
Invest in each type of upgrade available for a specialization.
  • Unlocked by 12,388 tracked gamers (21% - TA Ratio = 2.15) 57,634

You can respec your points for free at any time to get the perks you actually want to use.

During this whole process, you are likely to have obtained high-end (yellow) gear for all your gear slots, unlocking another achievement:

Dress to Impress in Tom Clancy's The Division 2
Equip high-end gear (or above) in each slot.
  • Unlocked by 26,787 tracked gamers (46% - TA Ratio = 1.46) 57,634

When you've worked your way through all invaded missions and are in World Tier 4, a new one will open up: Gatehouse Facility. Complete this mission and get a Gear Score of at least 425 to start the true last stronghold, Tidal Basin. The final area of Tidal Basin has you disable various rocket launchers while fending off a lot of enemies and the mission boss. Stopping the rocket attack and clearing out all enemies allows you to collect the objective materials and finish up this mission, leading to World Tier 5.

Now here's where the game really changes. Invasions happen weekly and are on a rotation and control points have alert levels. Getting them to at least alert level 3 will allow you to earn a random blueprint from them, drastically increasing the pace at which you collect blueprints.

For the next two achievements, start playing all the main story missions on Hard difficulty, it doesn't matter if they are invaded or not. Focus on getting headshots throughout the missions to obtain Combat Merit commendations/patches. Once you have ten patches, you unlock an achievement:

Patchwork in Tom Clancy's The Division 2
Patchwork17 (10)
Get 10 patches from commendations.
  • Unlocked by 20,043 tracked gamers (35% - TA Ratio = 1.69) 57,634

Keep working through the missions on hard and when you complete your final one (which will likely be Tidal Basin), you unlock the difficulty-specific achievement in this game:

Hard as Nails in Tom Clancy's The Division 2
Hard as Nails317 (100)
Finish all missions on hard difficulty or above.
  • Unlocked by 5,730 tracked gamers (10% - TA Ratio = 3.16) 57,634

Finally, we're going to hunt for a craftable exotic. The Chatterbox SMG is the easiest of the four currently available to obtain since the Liberty pistol requires an RNG high-end weapon drop, the Dodge City Gunslinger Holster has a fairly long project and two RNG drops needed and the Nemesis marksman rifle is time-gated. You need to find three parts of the weapon in Hyena crates, which are boxes you can only open with Hyena keys. These boxes have a 24-hour cooldown before they can be re-opened. This also has to be done in the following regions:

  • Downtown East
  • Federal Triangle
  • Judiciary Square

For the Downtown East area, there are two of these boxes in the normal version of the Grand Washington Hotel mission. One of them is after the first atrium fight in a bathroom to the left of the hallway and the other is when you arrive on the roof, to the right of the stairwell before clambering over to the other side.

The Jefferson Trade Center mission has one box in it. This box is after the parking garage fight in the back right corner of the room the objective points you to. If you have no luck there, run north from the Navy Plaza control point and go left in the first alleyway. Climb all the way up and to the left to find a Hyena box.

For the Judiciary Square mission, do the Police Headquarters side mission and look at the far end of the parking garage you complete this side mission in to find the box.

When you have all three of these parts, it's time to do the normal Bank HQ mission. Remember that keycard panel I pointed out right after Rebound? Open it (stand near the right side of it and hold cn_X) and take the keycard. Inside the bank vault, open the left door to find a Hyena box. Use a key on it and you'll get the "Lost Chatterbox" blueprint. You don't have to complete the mission and if you have the requisite resources you can craft it, earning you this achievement:

Taste of the Exotic in Tom Clancy's The Division 2
Craft an exotic weapon or item.
  • Unlocked by 10,832 tracked gamers (19% - TA Ratio = 2.30) 57,634

Now, it's mainly a case of getting a decent build together for the Operation Dark Hours raid.

Dark Zone (DZ)

Notes: In the regular DZs and Conflict your stats are normalized to create an as even playing field as possible. So unless you need to, don't enter an Occupied DZ.

To enter a DZ, you must first complete its associated recon mission. As there are three DZs, you have to complete three recon missions. During those missions, you can earn DZ XP, but you are in a separate instance and will not meet other players for the duration of the mission. During two of these missions, you will extract a contaminated item (this happens in DZ East and West respectively). So for your first DZ-related achievement, simply go to DZ South, do landmarks until you have a contaminated item, then go to an extraction area and pull it out via chopper to earn:

Dark Zone: Extraction in Tom Clancy's The Division 2
Extract an item from each dark zone.

Afterwards, I'd advise leaving DZ South for this next achievement and head to DZ East instead (or West, if East is occupied). Run away from the checkpoints and hold the back button. This will flag you Rogue and will lead you to Rogue Actions. Do these until you get the notice: Thieves' Den Unlocked. Then, all you need to do is find the closest entrance and enter the Thieves' Den for another achievement:

Dark Zone: Safe House in Tom Clancy's The Division 2
Access a hidden safe room in a dark zone. (Secret)
  • Unlocked by 9,994 tracked gamers (17% - TA Ratio = 2.39) 57,634

For the next achievement, I'd very strongly advise you are at least in World Tier 4 since the enemies you'll have to kill are hard-hitting and difficult to take down with lower level gear. With that out of the way, find a partner in crime and enter the Occupied DZ. Clear out landmarks in the ODZ until one of you finds a contaminated item. Then, head to an extraction area, split the group up and have the person with the contaminated item call in an extraction. When it arrives, hang the item on the rope and have the other player cut the rope and pick it up. Then repeat the last steps in reverse order for both of you to earn:

Dark Zone: Blackout Hijack in Tom Clancy's The Division 2
Hijack an extraction in any dark zone during a blackout.
  • Unlocked by 1,260 tracked gamers (2% - TA Ratio = 6.75) 57,634

Now you're grouped up already, you can work on the final achievement that requires you to be in the DZ. Leave the Occupied DZ and head to any of the other ones as a group. Enter that DZ, split up a bit away from a checkpoint and have one of you go Rogue and kill the other to become Disavowed. Then the other person kills the Disavowed. Repeat the process in reverse order and for all three DZs for the final DZ achievement:

Dark Zone: Takedown in Tom Clancy's The Division 2
Eliminate a disavowed agent in each dark zone.
  • Unlocked by 1,374 tracked gamers (2% - TA Ratio = 6.46) 57,634

Conflict

The Division 2's organized PvP mode, Conflict consists of Skirmish (TDM, first to deplete respawns and kill the opposing team wins) and Domination (a stripped-down version of the Last Stand mode in the first Division comparable to the Call of Duty mode of the same name). For this first achievement, simply launch Conflict and win a match for an achievement:

First Among Equals in Tom Clancy's The Division 2
Win a match of skirmish or domination.
  • Unlocked by 6,676 tracked gamers (12% - TA Ratio = 2.93) 57,634

For the second and last Conflict achievement, you need to form a group with at least one person in your clan. TA has clans set up for both the European and North American region in case you still need a clan. Anyway, once your group is formed matchmake for Conflict and if you're facing another group of clan members, you'll earn:

Clan War in Tom Clancy's The Division 2
Clan War42 (15)
With your clan, face off against another clan in conflict.
  • Unlocked by 7,413 tracked gamers (13% - TA Ratio = 2.78) 57,634

And with that, you've earned all achievements requiring PvP in The Division 2.

Here I'll discuss the achievements that don't necessarily fit with the general gameplay. First off, down yourself with a concussion grenade and die. Then, press cn_up on the d-pad to call for backup. This will get you an achievement:

Help Me! in Tom Clancy's The Division 2
Help Me!12 (10)
Put out a call for backup.
  • Unlocked by 42,741 tracked gamers (74% - TA Ratio = 1.15) 57,634

If you're working together with a friend, the next achievement is easily doable. Make sure both of you have their backup settings set to "Clan and Friends only" and go to the same safehouse while not in the same group. Down yourself just outside the safehouse and call for backup. Your friend should receive the call and revive you once he's answered it. Then reverse the process and revive your friend to earn an achievement:

A Friend in Need in Tom Clancy's The Division 2
Respond to a call for help and revive the agent.
  • Unlocked by 7,774 tracked gamers (13% - TA Ratio = 2.71) 57,634

Finally, get a group of three friends together. Gather up, open your menu and hold cn_A to open Photo Mode. Now press cn_A to "take" a photo (you get a popup warning you that you need to open the Xbox Guide to take screenshots) and if the entire group is on it, you get the last of the miscellaneous achievements:

For Posterity in Tom Clancy's The Division 2
Photo mode: take a photo of a group of 4 agents.
  • Unlocked by 6,796 tracked gamers (12% - TA Ratio = 2.90) 57,634

To even be able to play Operation Dark Hours you need to be in World Tier 5 and have a minimum Gear Score of 490. However, your actual build doesn't matter that much anymore with the addition of Discovery mode (which does unlock the achievement). For normal mode you need to have a fairly well-optimized DPS build. Before starting this raid, make sure you have 8 people in your team of which at least 2 are using Survivalist. I'll describe each encounter separately with the steps to beat it.

Start

Run through the tunnel and go up the ropes onto the tarmac. This section has nothing in the way of mechanics, simply kill all enemies (including reinforcements) and you'll complete this section.

Max "Boomer" Bailey

There are two miniguns in this room on opposite corners (which I will dub "45" and "41" due to their locations) with four nodes that make any enemy standing in them immune to damage. To start this encounter, have two players get on the miniguns and destroy all four nodes. Kill the first set of enemies and the boss appears.

Boomer is a hulking heavy with a glowing chestplate that heals him and a weakspot on his back. One person will always have his aggro (denoted by an eye symbol under the player name/the crosshair if you have his aggro). That person's job is to kite him in front of a minigun (45 first since he comes in closest to that one) and expose his back to the person on the minigun. That person has to shoot the backpack to get him on his knees, which starts a DPS phase. Do as much damage as possible and rotate as a team to 41, clearing as many enemies as possible. The person who has Boomer's aggro has to keep an eye on his chestplate and shoot it to stop him from healing if the plate's glowing.

(Normal mode only): Periodically, there will be an alarm and the screens hanging on poles in the middle will show letters in blue. Those letters correspond with the laptops in the middle that need to be activated in order to stop the immunity fields from reactivating. First, it will only be one letter but more letters will be active based on Boomer's health, with all four being active when he has low health. For normal mode, I strongly advise to have two people dedicated to this so they can shut it down as soon as the right letters are called.

Keep rotating Boomer between 41 and 45, exposing him to damage and shutting down his healing until he's dead. Then clear out the area to complete the encounter.

Oliver "Weasel" Gordon, Carl "Dizzy" Dawson and Ben "Ricochet" Carter

This area will have your team split up in two groups of four, on either side of the plane that's bisecting the room. Two people will have to coordinate the panels on that plane since there will be two gases coming out of it that need to be flipped from time to time during the fight. The orange gas reduces the effectiveness of your armour, while the other reduces the effectiveness of your weapons. During this first phase, both teams will get a boss: Dizzy or Ricochet. Get both bosses' health close to dying while flipping the gas periodically, then flip the gas again and kill both of them at the same time. This will trigger Weasel. Everyone will move to the side where he didn't enter and defend themselves. When the purple gas is up, focus mainly on survival and aim for maximum damage with the orange gas active. Periodically, Weasel will also shoot sticky bombs that deal massive damage. If you're stuck with one, get out of the way of any teammates. Otherwise you may personally cause the entire team to die. When Weasel is dead and all other enemies cleared out, you finish this encounter.

Lucy and Buddy

This fight is all about balancing. Have three people position themselves on the far left side and five on the right and then start the fight. Both bosses will run to the middle and eventually move away. The team of three will need to be survivable as they're getting the more lethal of the two bosses, Lucy, after them. When Lucy does a spin attack, make sure everyone is in cover since the attack will instantly down you. Then start damaging both bosses, ensuring that their health bars stay inside the white box on top. Buddy, the other boss, will also periodically heal himself. Make sure to deal as much damage as possible to avoid their health being too split. Repeat this process until their health is at two white bars. Then, when Buddy starts healing, burn his health down. Once he's dead, switch over to Lucy and help that team kill her. When both bosses are dead, you have completed the encounter.

DDP-52 Razorback

This fight is an endurance run, so be ready for it. In this area, there are four generators, labeled 1, 2, 3 and 4. There will also be four SAM sites that are labeled the same. After the initial wave of enemies is cleared, the true raid encounter is started by standing in the vicinity of any generator. Before you do so however, give everyone a designated role: four people for each of the generators and four to cover their backs. It is also strongly advised to have two of these generator people on opposite sides use the Survivalist spec. The four generator people enter their generator areas at the same time and wait until it's lighting up 100% above it in green. Then the survivalists destroy the center panel with their crossbows while the other two on generator duty throw concussion grenades inside the opened vents. During this entire process, no one on generators is allowed to step out of the area! Once that's correctly done, the tower raises up and the generator folks can step off. They'll move to the front and start damaging two panels on the sides. If anyone is using Sharpshooter, the TAC-50 does loads of damage on the panels. IF your team manages to break both panels, you can move to DPS: a vent will open near the top of the tower. Shoot it as much as you can. If you deal 25% of the total health as damage, the vent will automatically close. During this time, the people on add duty will be mostly clearing out the drones that the boss is spewing out. After either panel damaging or direct boss damage, everyone will go to their SAM sites and be on the lookout for heavy units. These need to die fast, otherwise they'll cause the entire team to wipe. Repeat this process until the boss has no health remaining. That triggers the final stand mechanic. Everyone has to once again rush back to their SAM sites. Once the screen on the site glows red and the SAM rises up, shoot it until it's broken. If your SAM is broken, go around to your neighbouring SAMs and help your teammates where possible. If you get this right, congratulations! You have beaten the Dark Hours raid and you'll be rewarded with lots of loot and an achievement:

Complete the full Operation Dark Hours raid in a group of eight players.

DC Outskirts: Expeditions adds two more achievements to the list and thankfully both are easy to complete. Both achievements are related to the newly added story missions. For both missions you must be in World Tier 5.

Manning National Zoo

Here you need to hunt down the leader of the Outcasts inside the zoo. It's a fairly long mission where you have to chase the monorail throughout the zoo to be able to fight her. There are no special objectives in this mission, so get through the zoo, clearing out Outcasts. When you're in the boss arena you need to plant C4 at various bridge pillars before you get to fight the leader. Keep fighting while you're getting the C4 and eventually she'll come down to fight you. Kill her and clear out the remaining enemies to complete the mission and get an achievement.

Caged Animal in Tom Clancy's The Division 2
Put an end to Emeline Shaw at the Manning National Zoo.

Camp White Oak

The goal here is to chase down and arrest the President. This mission will take you through a forest landscape and some old buildings. Your main route gets shut off twice, so you'll have to take various detours to reach the helipad. Once you're there, it's revealed that you are too late and the President escaped. Kill all enemies including the boss and you'll get the other achievement of this title update.

Country Retreat in Tom Clancy's The Division 2
Take part in the operation at Camp White Oak.
