Walkthrough Overview

This is the ultimate walkthrough that will help you obtain all (4,000GS) achievements within the "The Walking Dead Collection". The guide itself is split into several sections, since this collection includes, The Walking Dead Season 1, The Walking Dead Season 2, 400 Days (In the Season 1 part), The Walking Dead: A New Frontier and last but not least, Michonne.

If you played Season 1, your save file can be imported along with all your choices into that game to change the story in this one. If you did not play the first one, do not worry since the options will be randomly selected. If this is your first time your playing The Walking Dead, I would still recommend playing in chronological order, Season One (with 400 days), Season Two, The New Frontier and then Michonne last (when you load up the collection, it will show the order at the bottom, just work your way from left to right.)

All achievements are related to the story so none of them are missable. With that being said, when the dead rise, what choices will you choose to keep yourself alive? Let’s begin.

General hints and tips

I will start by saying that this is not a traditional zombie killing title as it will have you exploring most of the time, figuring out how to progress past puzzles and interacting with your characters to build your own unique story. For this reason, it is a point and click adventure.

Combat is based on using the correct button at the correct time in order to do a certain action or using your analogue sticks to pinpoint attacking certain areas within the time frame. Otherwise, you may end up as zombie chow.

Another thing to note is that characters will remember things you tell them or actions you do. If you aggravate someone with an action or something you say, it may come back to haunt you before the episode is ended or during later episodes, so try to make friends.

If for some reason you make a choice you regret during the storyline, you can repeat and try again to amend a mistake or a choice you took. I would say that playing this title several times is encouraged to see different outcomes.

For this guide, I will simply explain how to complete the episodes quickly and efficiently. The choices you make with talking to people, I will leave to you to decide unless I feel it is important to note something. With that in the back of your head, let’s begin with the first episode.

The Walking Dead (Season 1)

Episode 1 - A New Day

I mentioned that all the achievements are story related, so there is no excessive searching for collectibles, beating a chapter in a certain amount of time or kill requirements. Simply play through the game and you'll unlock these.

The first achievement you'll earn (after a small bit of dialogue with a cop) is when you get into an accident in which you black out, whilst the cop is killed by Walkers. Eventually, you'll gain control of Lee, have him kick out the car window and limp over to the dead body. Use the crosshair to find the keys (on his belt); once the cuffs are off, you'll be attacked by the dead cop. Use the control stick to back away until another small scene where Lee sees a shotgun shell. Pick it up and turn to the left to grab the gun, place the shell into the gun (eventually) and kill the Walker.

After escaping the horde of Walkers, you'll come to a house (this is where the demo starts), enter the house and either look around (examining the TV, bookcase, kids painting), or simply investigate the answering machine (there are three messages from Hanna in Savannah), continue into the kitchen where Lee will slip on a puddle of blood and hear a voice out, 'Daddy?' Examine the drawers until you find a walkie-talkie, this will introduce you to Clementine, and share some dialogue with her.

You'll get attacked by a Walker, and slip in the blood once again, slamming your head into the counter, causing blurred vision. Move the crosshairs to the zombie and hit 'A'. The Walker will trip you (and by now you should have come to the conclusion that Lee lacks the ability to stay on his feet), and Clementine will appear with a hammer, grab it from her and kill the zombie, netting the first achievement. Continue until you meet Shawn and Chet, help them get their vehicle moving and you'll earn the second achievement.

When you arrive at the Farm, Hershal will ask you a bunch of questions about who you are, how you know Clementine and where you were going, answer them and retire to the barn. In the morning, Kenny will wake you up and talk with you a bit. Continue talking to him and ask him about his plans, once you're done talking with Kenny, talk with Clementine and Katjaa. Walk around to find Shawn working on the fence with Duck nearby; help saw some wood until Shawn tells you to go see his dad in the barn.

Talk with Hershal until you hear Shawn shouting, this is the first of two major decisions you'll have to make in this episode: save Shawn, who's pinned under the tractor; or Duck, who's being grabbed by Walkers, this will net the achievement for you. It really doesn't matter who you choose as Duck will ultimately be saved.

Once you arrive in town, you'll get ambushed by Walkers, but be saved by a girl named Carley, who'll tell you to get to the Drug Store they've taken shelter in. An older man, Larry, will accuse Duck of being bitten and try to have him thrown out, you can defend him by siding with Kenny, but it doesn't matter what you choose to do, as he will be saved. Clementine will get attacked while trying to use the restroom, kill the Walker.

Talk with Carley, who is having trouble turning on a portable radio. Examine it and turn it over, open the battery slot on the back and you'll learn why it can't be turned on. You'll find one battery near the greeting cards, between the door to the Drug Store and Kenny, Duck and Katjaa, and the other near Lilly and Larry.

Head into the Employees Only area and head to your right after coming in, the camera will reposition itself and you'll see a plank covering a desk. Move it out of the way, while talking with Clementine, until she gets a small cut. Head over to the first-aid box that is conveniently placed in the same room and grab a bandage. Once she's taken care of, examine the desk drawer to find a Universal Remote, which you'll need later. There is also a picture on the floor near the cot that will explain a lot about who Lee is, if you can see the picture well enough that is.

Upon exiting the back room, Glenn will call via walkie-talkie saying he's in trouble, which will cause Lee and Carley to go to his rescue. Once you arrive at the motel and find Glenn, he'll say he heard a woman crying and wants to rescue her, to which Lee, and to a lesser extent Carley, agree. When you retain control of Lee, lean to the left and grab the pillow. Move to the right, which will place you on the side of a truck that has an ice pick inside, but no means of entering without creating noise. Look ahead and you'll see a zombie against a car; use the pillow on him as a silencer so Carley can shoot him. Once you regain control, open the car door to find a spark plug, and put the car in drive, trapping another zombie. Return to the truck and use the spark plug on the window, which will allow you to grab the ice pick. Return to where you started, this time advancing to get behind the van, lure the zombie over from the side and stab him with the ice pick, then kill the one you trapped and grab the axe. Once you go upstairs, kill the two zombies and break open the door, you'll find the woman, who has been bitten. Give her the gun or no, either way, you unlock the achievement.

Very easy if you grabbed the Universal Remote earlier, but in case you didn't, head into the Employees Only area, and head to your right after coming in, the camera will reposition itself and you'll see a plank covering a desk. Talk to Doug and say yes to going outside, talk with him if you want to learn a bit more about him, but otherwise, examine the Walker trapped under a telephone pole, to which Lee will say that he has the key to the pharmacy. Use the axe on the lock and pick up the brick, throw it at the shop across the street and try to use the Remote. Doug will get it to work, being the nerd that he is, and give you time to grab the key. You'll learn that the Walker is actually Lee's brother, and being the brother that Lee is, he decides to put him out of his misery.

After returning to the Drug Store and getting the pills for Larry (not that he deserves them), you'll trigger an alarm which, as you may have guessed, lures a bunch of Walkers to your location. You'll have to hold the door closed since you decided to break it (nice move). Enter the commands as they appear until you are forced to make that second big decision, to save Doug or Carley, it doesn't matter who is saved. Clementine will be attacked, enter the commands to save her. Run towards the door only to get punched in the face by Larry (see, he's an asshole), but Kenny will come to the rescue, grab his hand and you'll earn this achievement.

Episode 2 - Starved for Help

Episode 2 starts with Lee and friends hunting in the woods to gather food. After a bit of back and forth and killing a walker, you'll encounter some students who are being attacked. After you've 'helped' them, you'll return to the motel and get bitched at for bringing more mouths to feed.

This chapter is both interesting and difficult (assuming you've developed a relationship with all the characters, good or bad). You'll be tasked with splitting the 4 remaining pieces of food between the 10 survivors, give it to whomever you wish, I personally gave some to Duck, Clementine, Carly and Lilly. Once you've split the food, head over to Larry who is mending the fence and choose to give Mark or Larry the axe, depending on what you told Mark, the two will have an argument.

Now go find Duck and Clementine grouped together and she'll tell you she lost her hat, if you feel kind enough to look for it (you will find it later in the episode), that'll make her quite happy. Go find Kenny and talk to him, depending on if you've been siding with him, he'll act differently towards you. After you've done this and listened to the complaints about food, Katjaa will call you over for help, say whatever you wish and be ready for a QTE (Quick Time Event), here is what to do:

1) Repeatedly press the indicated button as fast as you can until it changes to another button. Press that button once.

2) Lee will call for the others to give him his axe back, but the walker grabs him again! Flick the left control stick in the indicated direction to slam the walker's head against the car. Do the same again, in the other direction, and repeat until Larry or Mark comes over with the axe.

3) Press A on the walker's head to slam him away from you. Larry/Mark will try to behead the walker but will miss.

4) Kick the walker in the head three times by clicking the A button with the cursor over its head.

5) Move the left control stick backwards to crawl away from the walker.

6) When Lee falls off the truck, repeatedly press the indicated button as fast as you can. Carley/Mark/Larry will come over and kill the walker for you.

Watch the scene, answer the questions, get the achievement.

Thank You for Shopping! in The Walking Dead Collection - The Telltale Series
Complete Chapter 3 of Episode 2 of Season 1

Once you arrive, you'll be asked some questions by the group, they aren't important, but try to keep your story straight. After the conversation, Doug/Carly will go get the others and you can explore the farm if you wish. There's a swing that can be fixed for the kids, but you'll need rope and a board. Examine the broken fence and then head up to the porch, there is a box that contains the rope, grab that and then go down the stairs and go to the left of the screen to find a bunch of planks, examine them to acquire the board, now go back to the swing and fix it. Talk to Andy and select to fix the perimeter.

Converse with Mark until you reach the first body and remove the arrow, answer the questions until you come to the next body, cut off the hands and continue to the next, press A and continue to remove the body. A QTE event will occur; here are the steps to take:

1) Look to the left-hand side of the tractor and BE QUICK (if you take too long, you get shot). Quickly remove the Chock from in front of the tyre.

2) Look to the right-hand side of the tractor and pull the Plow Lever. This should make the tractor start rolling forward, towards the gate.

3) Your objective is to move towards the gate whilst staying hidden behind the tractor. You'll know when you're in danger as the edges of the screen will get redder and redder. The easiest way to stay at a safe distance is to stay level with Mark or the big wheel on the tractor.

4) Eventually, the tractor will get stuck on a zombie. Look to the left-hand side of the tractor and press the A button on the zombie to drag it out (do this quickly or you'll get shot.) This starts the tractor moving again, so stay level with Mark or the big wheel as you move to avoid getting shot.

5) You'll get stuck on another zombie. Look to the left and quickly press A on the zombie to drag it out. However, this one's still alive! Move your cursor over the zombie's head and press A to kick it. Do this a second time. You'll now have to repeatedly press the indicated button in order to pull the zombie from beneath the wheels - do this and the zombie will tear in half, which gets the tractor moving again.

6) Things get a little trickier now. You must stay hidden behind the moving tractor. If you go too far forward, you'll get shot by bandits, but you've now got half a zombie hot on your heels behind you! Again, try and stay level with Mark and you should make it to the gate on time.

You'll be able to converse with the survivors now, select whichever options you want, they have no real impact. While not required, talking to Kenny will let you know his opinion of you, which is likely obvious if you've been siding with him or not. Go to the porch and talk with Andy and Danny, agree to help them with the bandits and get ready to move out.

You'll come across a small bandit camp and begin searching for stolen food, go to the left and examine the table to find boxes and a camera (may take a few examinations). Danny will come over to try and stop you from looking at it, but the batteries are dead, so you're out of luck anyways - what could be on there that he didn't want you to see? Head over to the tent and examine everything until you find... Clementines Hat? You'll then be attacked by a bandit named Jolene, who has a crossbow, she also says she knows Danny's secret. You'll then have to make a decision, do whatever you feel is right.

Guess Who's Coming to Dinner in The Walking Dead Collection - The Telltale Series

After your return, go through the conversation and you'll be told that everyone is in the barn. Before going, head to the swing and talk to Danny, choose the option 'You really like that gun' and then head to the barn. Talk to Lilly to learn that Kenny doesn't trust the brothers, give Clementine her hat and then try to open the doors in the back of the barn - Kenny will come talk to you. You'll decide to find out what's behind the door; however, Andy will ask you what you're doing, select whichever option you like. You can talk to everyone if you like, Brenda has an odd reaction to you if you try talking to her, but nothing is important.

Head to the workbench near the generator to grab a Multitool, use that to open the generators power panel, you'll need to remove the belt but it's going too fast to stop. Turn it off then remove it quickly, this provides the distraction you need, head to the barn. The dinner bell will ring, but Kenny offers to cover you, you can either open the lock or head inside for dinner (which is no fun). It's highly suggested you open the lock, as there's a nice surprise on the other side (if you've played the Silent Hill series, you may recognize Mira at the panel.... Just kidding, but after that gruesome sight, you'll appreciate the attempt at humor). Head inside and after the short scene, sneak upstairs, once at the top head to the closet and examine the power cord on the bottom. Head into the bedroom and you'll notice a light source emitting from the bookshelf, move it and open the door.

You'll now be in a QTE, run downstairs as fast as possible and enter the dining room and select 'Clementine, no!' or 'Spit that out!' (Y and B respectively).

Watch the drama, pick your options, and earn your achievement.

Too Much Salt Will Kill You in The Walking Dead Collection - The Telltale Series
Complete Chapter 5 of Episode 2 of Season 1

You'll wake in a meat locker with a few others, Kenny, Lilly, Clem and Larry. Larry offers interesting dialogue. Talk with Clem and then try to remove the AC or wait. Either way, Larry will suffer a heart attack. You'll have to make an option, a rather critical one at that. Kenny wants to destroy Larry's brain before he turns, while Lilly wants to perform chest compressions on him in the hopes of reviving him, you can also do nothing.

I highly suggest supporting Lilly on this one, even if you're a Kenny fan (like me), mainly because you can witness a highly debated 'scene' if you know about it beforehand. Begin doing chest compressions on Larry, and if you manage to get four in you'll notice Larry's mouth move, many fans have argued whether this is Larry returning as a walker, Larry being resuscitated or just movement caused by the chest compressions. No matter what you believe it to be, Kenny will smash Larry's skull with a salt lick.

Once she opens the door, you'll be free and earn the achievement.

Taking Charlotte in The Walking Dead Collection - The Telltale Series
Complete Chapter 6 of Episode 2 of Season 1

You need to get out and to do so you need to unscrew the AC, and the only way to do so now is to use a coin. Ask Lilly for permission, then examine Larry's corpse to find a few coins. Clem is the only one who'll fit, so have her go through. Creep through the bloody room, examine everything and pick up the tazer, then talk to Kenny. Sneak out into the barn and move forward until you automatically hide in a stall. Kenny will then say to see where he is, but he'll be gone, talk to Kenny again and then open the stall door again to find a gun in your face. This will start a QTE. Here's what to do:

1) You literally have a couple of seconds to do this. Move your cursor and press A on the gun to grab it and prevent your death.

2) You must now move your cursor onto Danny and press A before he reloads so he can't shoot you again. This will cause Lee to attack him with your weapon of choice.

3) Now, either Kenny or Lilly will come along to your rescue with a sickle. This causes Danny to back himself into his own bear trap.

Kenny will go running, but you have to decide to either spare or kill Danny, your choice will affect Clem as she will see whatever it is you choose to do. Pick your poison and earn your achievement.

You Fight Like A Dairy Farmer in The Walking Dead Collection - The Telltale Series
Complete Chapter 7 of Episode 2 of Season 1

Go to the house and listen to the conversation, when it's done go to the door and answer how you like. Once you open, you need to be careful, as you can easily die. The best way to go about this part is to listen to Brenda, let her move up the stairs then slowly advance. This is what I did and didn't die at all, but others apparently weren't so lucky.

Once the event is over, head outside with Katjaa after hearing Kenny and Andy. After a short scene, you'll begin a QTE, here's what to do:

1) Press the indicated button repeatedly, then press the next indicated button once.

2) Andy will drag Lee towards the electric fence. You get the option to do something to Andy with your hand, but I've never been able to get this to work so I'll assume you can't do anything here.

3) You must now press the A button repeatedly - don't worry, you'll always lose here. If like me you're able to tap the button unnaturally fast, you may find that you're just sat here tapping forever - so wait for the redness on the edges of the screen to go away, and then you are safe to allow Andy to push Lee's face towards the fence so you can progress. If the edges of the screen are still red and he manages to push your face into the fence, Lee will get electrocuted and die. NOTE: If you tried to save Larry in the meat locker, Lilly will save you and you can skip on to step 5. If you chose to let Kenny kill Larry, Lilly will not save you and you must do step 4 before progressing.

4) If Lilly doesn't save you, press the indicated button repeatedly, then press the next indicated button once.

5) Lee will now be on top of Andy and must punch him. Do this repeatedly.

6) If you failed to punch Andy, he will flip Lee over and start punching him. You must now press A on his face to push him away and then press the indicated button repeatedly. Press the next indicated button once to push Andy into the electric fence.

You can now choose to kill Andy or leave him for the walkers. What you do affects Clem, but either way, you get the achievement.

It's Not Stealing If You Need It in The Walking Dead Collection - The Telltale Series
Complete Episode 2: "Starved For Help"

You'll talk with Kenny while walking, depending on who you sided with. Eventually, you'll come across an abandoned car. Clem won't want to take the food, but you can convince her, it really doesn't matter. Katjaa will tell you she has the camera from earlier and manages to get it working. The camera is Jolene's, and she was watching you (or more specifically, Clementine) at the inn before stealing Clem's hat.

Episode 3 - Long Road Ahead

Goodbye, She Quietly Says in The Walking Dead Collection - The Telltale Series

As the game starts, Kenny and Lee will be scavenging for supplies, he’ll climb a ladder and when you try, it’ll break. Look for a Jeep nearby and hook up the tow cable to the front of it and use the wench to pull the Jeep. Climb on top of the Jeep and Kenny will attempt to pull you up to the ledge with him, but drop you.

Your first QTE will start here, a woman will come screeching and, of course, attract walkers. You must decide if you want to put her out of her misery or let the walkers get her, hopefully making your job much easier. Letting the walkers get her gives you more time to loot the drugstore. Kill her or don’t, you will still net the first achievement.

Bad Blood in The Walking Dead Collection - The Telltale Series

This is a pretty easy and straight-forward chapter; however it will begin with a QTE, so press the buttons as they appear, then move the refrigerator to bar the door and attack the other Walker to get out of the drugstore. Once back at the inn, simply listen to Kenny and Lilly fight, pick your dialogue options and net your achievement.

Hit the Road in The Walking Dead Collection - The Telltale Series
Complete Chapter 3 of Episode 3 of Season 1

After dealing with Lilly, head outside and talk to Duck who’s been listening in on your conversation and wants to help. Answer how you want, he’s helping, period. Talk to everyone about the flashlight, then head to the far left of the inn and you should see an ‘X’ written on the side of one of the rooms with chalk, talk with everyone about the chalk as well. Duck will call you over and say he’s found something, he offers you a high-five, accept or decline, the notification for accepting is pretty awesome.

If you have Carley, you can tell people about your past, you don’t have to, but it can offer some interesting dialogue between Lee and the others.

Examine the mark and push the gate, go all the way to the right and examine the grate in the wall. Head back to Lilly and tell her about the stash, listen to her psychotic rampage until you hear a rustle going on outside.

A QTE will soon follow, react as follows:

1) Aim and kill the first bandit, if you have Carley, she’ll take him out instead.

2) Kenny will give you a rifle, go to the left and take out the bandits by the dumpsters. If the edges of the screen start to go red, press B to make Lee go back behind the RV before you get shot. Don’t let them go too far to the left, or they may get behind you.

3) After shooting the bandits, Doug/Carley and Ben are safe to get in the RV. You must now deal with the right side. Do the same thing as before.

4) After shooting all three bandits, Clementine runs over to Lee and safely makes it into the RV. However, Katjaa and Duck will get attacked by a walker - quickly kill it to save them. If you’re too slow, Kenny will save them instead.

5) If you have Carley with you, she’ll assist you. All you need to do is stay on the right side, and kill the four walkers. If you have Doug, you pretty much must switch back and forth to stop the walkers from getting too close.

Once you’ve taken care of the walkers, the group will then get into a heated argument with Lilly on the RV as to who was helping the bandits, choose your dialogue. Eventually, Kenny will run into a walker and pull over to fix the RV and the group will step out and continue their shouting match. Lilly will keep throwing accusations around if you have Carley with you…. Well, I’ll leave what happens out. Choose whatever dialogue options you want after the event.

Katjaa will call you over and let you in on a horrible realisation - Duck was bitten during the attack at the inn. Katjaa and Kenny ask you to tell Clem, choose your dialogue. Shortly after a QTE will occur, just mash A, even if you fail you’ll live.

When you exit the RV, check on Duck, Katjaa will ask you to find him water, this is optional but will help vastly improve your relationship with Kenny and Katjaa. Head into the RV to grab the pencil, you’ll need it later.

Optional for Duck: Head into the boxcar to the left of Ben, it’s the only other one you can access; there’s a water bottle in here for you, grab this and head over to Katjaa.

Climb up the ladder on the main train car and open the second compartment and grab a tool, then head over to the door to the engineer's cabin and open it with the tool.

Kenny will tell you that you need to get the train moving, there will be a notepad nearby with an imprint on it but is too faded, did you ever do ‘rubbings’ in elementary school? Use the pencil on the notepad.

Head to the many switches and levers in the cabin and follow what the instructions on the notepad say and after working through all of the switches head to the door near the front of the cabin.

Optional for Duck: Around the front of the train you’ll notice a walker stuck in a car, head down and you’ll see he’s stuck. Release the seatbelt and then slam the door against its head, killing it. Grab the animal crackers and give them to Katjaa.

Head back up to where you grabbed the tool to get into the engineer's cabin and open the first compartment, there’s a switch in here, turn it left and then right. Kenny will then talk with you, say what you want. Head into the cabin and pull the throttle, you’ll learn that the main car is still attached to the wreckage behind you.

Go to the second car, the one with the water bottle, and there should be a map as well, take that. Head through the open door to the back of the train and continue around the car, use whatever tool to remove the pin attaching the cars and head back to Kenny. There’s a chance for various conversations before pulling the throttle, chat with people if you want.

After pulling the throttle, answer Chuck how you like, use the rag to clean up the blood and then head to the engineer’s cabin to get Kenny to stop the train. You can do this in many ways, through kindness or aggression, choose whichever you prefer (stay silent for all for an Easter Egg).

You’ll then need to make a tough decision, I won’t spoil it, but I’m sure you can guess what that is, decide what to do and respond to Clem however you wish.

After the event, talk with Clem and she’ll tell you Chuck has said some disturbing things, head to the very front of the train to confront him. After the conversation, head to the second car and teach Clem to shoot, after that cut her hair with the scissors in Chucks bag.

Grab the whiskey and head back to Chuck, give it to him and tell Kenny, who will then move so you can get the map. Then talk to Clem about Savannah. The train will then stop and you’ll get the achievement

You’ll then meet Omid and Christa. Respond to their questions how you like, talk with everyone to see how they are doing, after which head towards the station in the distance. Clem will then decide to join you and help if she can.

When you get to the station, Clem will try to open the door, look up and you’ll see a spot where she can fit, boost her up and she’ll unlock the door for you. Clem will hold the door open and you need to find something to prop it open with, there’s a timer but if it runs out you won’t die, so don’t worry about it. There should be a block or something nearby that can be used to prop the door open.

There’s a blowtorch on the other side of the gate inside and another locked door, do the same thing you did before, send Clem over. This will start a QTE, here's what to do:

1) Grab the door prop and beat the Walker with it.

2) Lee will get grabbed, enter the commands that appear.

3) Grab the key from Clem and use it to unlock the door.

4) Kill the walker.

Christa will come running to see what happened, respond how you want and then grab the blowtorch and return to the group near the train. Talk to Omid and join him on top of the bridge, there should be some tape near one of the trucks. Attempt to use the blowtorch on the tanker, Lee will notice there’s a leak in the line; use the tape to seal it. The tanker will begin to fail, but stop, dangle Omid and have him cut the last bit.

Push the blowtorch over the edge to set the leaking oil ablaze, you now have to get down and the only way is to jump, convince Omid to jump with you (or not). Lee lands safely while Omid slams into the ground, Christa will jump off to help him and you must decide who to pull up.

Episode 4 - Around Every Corner

As the episode unfolds, the gang is walking down the street talking, select your conversation options until you hear the bell toll. Walkers will begin swarming on you and after a bit of dialogue exchange, you’ll have to save Clem. Take out the walkers as they approach her, and be sure to kill the one on the left coming for Lee. After a bit, Chuck will jump in and save her. The gang will all flee (minus Chuck who is holding the walkers back), but Kenny will be grabbed, quickly kill the walker and continue on.

Once in the back of the house, you can confront Ben if you want or keep moving. Examine the doggy door near Kenny to learn that the doggy door is electronically opened. Grab the shovel and head over to the mound near the dog house; you should know what to do. Bring the collar to the door and after the scene, head inside.

Once in the house, you can examine the cupboards, but it’s not needed. Head to the stairs and examine the door at the bottom of them. Head into the main room, where Omid and Christa are, and examine both doors. Ben will then run down saying something’s wrong with Kenny, head up into the attic. You’ll see Kenny looking at a walker (as far as I know, this is also the first time they are called a Zombie, or at least that’s what it says when the cursor is placed over it) that looks like Duck. Choose whether you want to kill it or have Kenny do it.

After you’ve dealt with the walker, head outside and bury him in the hole with the dog. Lee will also see a figure watching him before taking off; pick your dialogue, after which Kenny and you will head out to find a boat.

After another scene, you’ll arrive at the docks; Kenny will ask you to check the coastline to see if you can find a boat. Head to the left of Kenny to find a telescope that needs a quarter, you can try bashing it, but that will have no effect. Head back to Kenny and head towards the top of the screen (North) until you see a yellow newspaper dispenser, bash it and grab the quarter. At the telescope, scan the horizon (if you want) and then look all the way to the left, Lee will see someone scaling down the building and heading their way.

Lee tells Kenny to duck down; Kenny suggests ‘talking’ with the scavenger and wants you to sneak up to the newsstand that the scavenger is in. Once you reach the newspaper stand, you’ll get ambushed by the scavenger and need to grab the arm before getting a pickaxe to the face. Right before you get a pickaxe through the face, you’ll be saved and Kenny will try to subdue the scavenger (Molly) with bad results and inadvertently firing his pistol.

After a brief exchange (be sure to ask about Crawford), a group of walkers will appear from the only way out. The gang runs down an alley, all getting out safely thanks to Molly, except Lee. Push the dumpster and examine the manhole and then pick up the pick Molly throws down next to the manhole and use it to lift it up.

In the sewers, move through the tunnels until you reach a group of Walkers eating something/one, turn around and you should notice a pipe with no valve. A bit before them is a tunnel to the left, duck inside and examine the valve that’s in there as well. Take it and continue through until you reach a cover of some sort and use the pick to open it. Go to the pipe and use the valve to turn on the water, retreat to the small tunnel you just opened to avoid the walkers. Wait until the red hue dissipates then head through the other end.

As Lee continues, he’ll notice that the victim of the walkers was Chuck. Keep going until Lee is grabbed through a metal grate by a walker. You’ll have to free yourself before the walker at the end gets to you, you can use the pick or pistol. Using the pistol will alert the other walkers and cause them to advance on you (although I never had to worry about them getting to me as they are very slow), the pick takes much longer but is quite (I tried using it but didn’t get it to work so I just used the pistol instead). Kill the walker in front of you and head to the end, try using the pick to parkour your way up to reveal a hole in the wall.

Once inside the bunker, chat with the inhabitants, try to convince them you aren’t from Crawford and just be honest. You’ll have a QTE (Quick Time Event) in which you must grab Vernon’s gun or die. After another exchange, he’ll help you get back to your people.

Once back home, talk to Ben and Kenny as to where Clem is, one will say she’s with Molly, upstairs. Head up there and enter one of the rooms across from the stairs (bathroom) and then the bedroom that’s connected to the bathroom. Molly will be searching for whatever she can salvage and say that Clem went outside. Head out there and head towards the shed, you’ll hear a thumping sound. Clem will come out saying she was exploring and found something, a boat! Kenny will appear and be elated (kinda).

Kenny will say it needs a battery and fuel, the only place that has these is Crawford. The gang decides to meet up later to go and grab what they need and leave, without being seen. Once you get to Crawford, you’ll notice a lack of liveliness, and it becomes apparent as to way when Lee and Kenny try to kill what they think is a guard. Walkers. You’ll retreat back into the local school to regroup.

Once a plan has been devised, head out of the classroom and follow Molly into the alley. Enter the small shed and look up, there’s a hole you can use to get into the maintenance area and grab a battery. Check the dropdown door and head to the end of the alley to see a bunch of walkers, return back to where you dropped down into the area and Molly will jump down from the roof to kill a walker and give you a carjack.

Enter the garage and examine the car on the lift, to the left should be the hydraulic controls, examine the tube and try to cut it. Head over to Molly to borrow her pick and cut the tube. The cars alarm will go off, attracting the walkers. Quickly remove the battery unscrewing the left then the right, remove the clamps and follow Molly to the top of the truck.

Shoot out the skylight and grab Molly’s hand, Molly will jump the gap to the school and you have to follow, aim for her hand, I aimed for the ledge you jump from and fell on my face (dying). Molly will say she has something to do and take off with the battery but promises to come back. Head to the classroom where Kenny will be holding the doors closed as walkers try to enter. Grab the hatchet on the floor and place it in-between the door handles.

Return to the classroom and talk to Kenny and Ben, Ben will pull you aside to say he feels guilty about causing Duck and Katjaa’s death and wants to tell Kenny it was him. Do what you want, I told him to keep quiet as Kenny is on the edge as it is, but regardless, he won’t say anything to him.

Talk to the lady near the door (her name escapes me, Vernon’s friend) and she’ll say that Vernon and Christa haven’t come back. Head out and instead of going to the right to the alley, go left. You’ll then need to kill a group of walkers, which is pretty easy. Enter the clinic and you’ll be told you need a combination for the safe that holds the meds. Go to the desk Vernon is at and examine the folder, take the tape and play it on the camera that is near the bed near the safe. After watching it, head back to the alley, go into the shed and climb back up and kill the walker Molly previously stabbed several times, take the tape and piece of paper.

Once back inside, head to the clinic but before getting there, you’ll notice a locker with a handprint on it, examine that and you’ll get another tape. Play the first and you’ll get the combo for the meds, the third is optional but explains a bit about how Molly knows about Crawford. Begin heading to the classroom and you’ll meet up with Molly. Confront her if you want and continue. You’ll hear what sounds like footsteps and Ben will jump out from a corner saying he thought he heard something so he grabbed a hatchet…

As you might expect, walkers come pouring in. Molly and Lee will try to hold off the walkers, but Molly gets grabbed, you have an incredibly small window to kill the walker that grabs her (this changes slightly if you bring Clem). The group will then head back to the classroom and Ben will freak out and say he has to tell Kenny something, to which Lee (and Kenny) tells him to shut up. Ben tells Kenny it was his fault and Kenny goes bonkers, as one would expect, and you can tell him to kick his ass later or not. Kenny also says if he thinks he’s getting on the boat, he’s dreaming and the group will vote whether or not they want him in.

Vernon’s friend will get grabbed and killed and Kenny manages to break the door open. As the group opens the only door out of the tower, you’ll be pleasantly surprised to see some walkers on the other side. Kenny will toss you a shotgun and you have to kill them as you retreat back up. Kill them as they get into view until your leg falls through the stairs, work on freeing yourself and killing the walkers, they USUALLY come in pairs, so kill two, pull leg, kill two, pull leg.

Once free, you turn around and begin killing the walkers that came in from the classroom (the door was broken, so it couldn’t be closed). Shoot them until you toss the gun and pull out an axe, go to town on their heads until you get to the top. Everyone will begin climbing down thanks to a conveniently placed ladder. Ben will say he’s not going and will be grabbed by a walker, kill it and he’ll fall over the rail of the tower.

This will start a QTE, you can either decide to try and save him or let him fall, remember walkers are still coming up the stairs, so if you want to save him, you’ll need to pull fast.

Back at the house, after taking care of Omid, Vernon will offer to take Clem for you. After responding, Molly will say she’s leaving, that it’s too crowded for her liking. Go find Clem (she’s in the center room on the 2nd floor) and she’ll ask if they’ll enough time to look for her parents, answer her however you wish and this will cause a rather emotional scene. Lee will fall asleep and Clem will be gone.

Head outside and you’ll hear the radio on the other side of the fence. Go grab it and… well, I’ll let you find out for yourself... After the scene, you’ll be given an option to tell the guy on the radio to “F--- OFF!” or whatever, but the episode ends before you do.

Episode 5 - No Time Left

After the initial cutscene, we will start the episode for real. Search the cupboards for some pliers to use in the elevator to keep them open. After some more cutscenes, you get a rather tough choice. Climb up the ladder and upon reaching the roof, you will unlock the following:

400 Days DLC (Part of "The Walking Dead: Season 1")

This episode is totally off the chart and therefore a completely new set of small stories with new characters and different choices to be made. It doesn't matter which order you play the stories, so basically I will write down the order in which I did this and will keep spoilers to a minimum, only telling you where to go and at which time. The stories are pretty short so it is possible to beat this episode with the full gamerscore in around 3-4 hours, depending on how thorough you are. So with that said, let us start this new adventure.

After the initial cutscene, you come to a board with pictures of the survivors. I will start with Russel's story here.

Russel's Story

Follow the road ahead and after some time you will get the option to either stay on the road or hide. Choose hide as an option as this will unlock the following achievement:

Wyatt's Story

Get the weapon and defend yourself. After some dialogue, you will be prompted to play rock-paper-scissor and by all means, say yes to play it. This is a crucial point where some people will perish and others succeed at the first try. You need to win this mini-game in order to get an achievement. However, this is random so my tip is to quit out of the game if you didn't win. You need to be quick since there is a checkpoint right afterwards. The order is totally random so there is no tip on which option to choose first. So, this is pure luck!

The Walking Dead: (Season 2)

Episode 1 - All that Remains

Once you gain control, the first rule of staying alive is checking everywhere, so explore the bathroom, getting used to how the game is played since it is all nicely colour coded for you. With that done, after a small cut scene, pull the water from your bag and after you have cleaned yourself up, check the left stall to find what you are looking for, then pick it up.

Unfortunately, you will be faced with a dire situation. I personally would suggest trying to defuse the situation than aggravate it, there is not really much you can do; just let the rest of it play out to end the first part.

When you gain control again, search your bag for the lighter. To do so, remove the picture and drawing to see it. Now head back to the fire using the lighter to reignite it. Pick the log up by the campfire, then place it on the pile. After this, you will find yourself in trouble. I personally distracted them.

Now you will find yourself in a dire situation in which you will need to complete a quick time event sequence by doing actions with your controller in order to survive. I failed a few of them several times which changes the order of events. Once you complete this, it ends the first part.

River Runs Cold in The Walking Dead Collection - The Telltale Series

Once you get control again, head down the beach to a broken set of stairs. Upon climbing up, walk to the trail and upon arriving at your new location, continue to walk towards the camera. Continue down the path, climbing over the log. You’ll find a new friend to interact with earning yet another achievement:

Find a campsite.

You'll come across an abandoned camp, so search the remnants of the camp in the trash can. There is a can, flying disk near the tents and a picture in the camper van (you may need to search everywhere until the dog barks). To the left of the barrel, head near a tree with a rope tied to a walker so to deal with him, pick up the branch near the body then hit him with it. When he’s dead, search him.

Open up your food once you do, you will have a choice to feed the dog. After this, you will find yourself attacked. You can either use your fists, the can or use the knife kicking it away. After this, you can choose what to do while being the victor.

Upon reaching the next area, you will be tasked to escape, however it is a little hard to do since you are being hindered. Complete the QTE to avoid being captured.

Upon waking up, you will be awaked by people arguing. Either way, you'll get interrupted by some fool with a gun by whatever choice you pick. They will start another argue-sequence. You will need to pick someone to appeal to, I personally picked the doctor since he probably would side with me.

Once in the shed, explore the area. You should find some reels in the tackle box and a table you can fold out for a hammer. Behind the tackle box, there is a hole in the shed. Use your hammer to escape the shed.

Now that you’re out, head towards the house and then go around on the right side of it looking for a board against the house. Remove the nails to get in. Continue to move until you reach a light with a trap door using your knife to break it open. The knife will break in the process.

Go right on your screen, then up the stairs and once there, open the right door and talk to Sarah who, if you play your cards right, might offer to help you (tell her you might die and you want to be friends along with a pinky swear will be enough to convince her).

Now head to the bathroom across from Sarah's room and look in the medicine cabinet. After you try to leave, someone will come in. I personally hid in the shower which was enough to keep me safe.

Continue to the next room, just past the ‘Gone Fishing’-sign. In the background, you can find a desk with the rags on it. There is also a watch in the drawer which you can pick up. Chances are that this will impact your relationship to a character by doing so. However, the choice is yours.

Now that you have everything, head back to the shed for some much-needed surgery on that injured arm of yours. As with any wound use the peroxide on it, then use the needle to mend the wound. Afterwards, use the bandages to wrap it.

Once you’re done, you will be attacked. When you are dragged down, look left then grab the rake and use it. After this, it will be impaled so look towards the desk and pick up the hammer. Beat its skull in for another achievement:

This next part is a tough choice. You need to pick who to save. As of such, I will put what happens depending on who you rescue so you can make a more informed choice should you wish to.

Start the episode off with a short recap of your choices in the last episode and begin the next one. This one may play our differently at the start depending on who you saved in the previous one so I will go over both below.

The next thing you will find in a nearby box is a cigarette which you can choose what to do with it which will cause the story to advance. Depending on your choices before, it may differ for you however in my game Pete was on the floor not saying anything so pick up the hacksaw then investigate your buddy.

You will have two options, one is having your friend come with you and the other is him sacrificing himself. You may pick whichever you choose to do so. Either way, it will turn out the same regardless of what you choose to do.

Several hours later you will find Nick throwing glass jars at the wall which will open conversation options with him, even with him offering you a drink should you choose so. This will then give you the option to attempt to get him to leave with you. If you manage to get him to come with you, he will see the dire situation and attempt to lure them off but untimely you get separated.

Continue to play the next part of the chapter, talking your way through until you meet your new best friend. Once again, so do as you’re told and interact with her; taking her picture, talking with her and choose how to deal with the gun issue until you regain control.

Once you do, you need to head downstairs to find out who the shadow belonged to. Once downstairs look out the window then continue onwards until a cut scene is played then approach the door choosing which option you want. It does play out the same, forcing you to talk to the stranger.

Now you can interact with him, asking questions either being polite or forceful. He will make his way in regardless; exploring the house and having conversations with you. Eventually, he will leave however, he will seemingly be curious about the situation. If anything I would suggest sticking to the same story. Once he leaves, you will earn your second achievement:

Once the group has returned, they will hound you about your visitor. Answer them as best as you can and when asked about the photo, I would suggest claiming it was your idea whilst scoring points with Sarah upon doing so. They will eventually decide to leave, ending this part of the episode with another achievement.

After the time skip, you will be given a pair of binoculars so from left to right you should be able to see a bridge, station house, lift and a lodge. They will untimely decide to head for the lodge. I would suggest going with Luke as it is far more exciting than sitting at base camp. As you make your way across, you will have the option to converse with him until you reach some zombies which you and him will deal with swiftly; earning another achievement.

Head across the bridge until you find yourself in a dire situation. Defend yourself from the first zombie, advancing then complete the quick time events until you come back onto the bridge then head for the machete. Use it to kill the second then head back to Luke. Pull him back up then across the bridge to talk to the stranger which will cause another event to happen. Regardless of what you try to do, he will end up dying netting you one more achievement:

Your group will converse about what happened prior with the suggestion of you looking for food. Before you head inside you can talk to Alvin and Rebecca as well as Nick, who can you can give the watch if you picked it up earlier (if you didn’t, it is still at the cabin). After this head inside the hut and upon entering from Clem's right, you will have the option to interact with some empty cans, trunk survival knife, cot and a radio. You will need to use the knife to open the trunk and upon doing so you will find some food.

After this, you will be asked if you can give one of the cans to Rebecca. Depending on your answer, he will reply and head outside to be confronted by walkers. Approaching this will end and then proceed to a time skip. Once at your new location you will be tasked to climb up the ladder for a better view. Once you reach the top, you will use the binoculars once more and the only things you can look at are the bridge and forest. This will prompt a light to be seen.

After this, Luke will run off to inform the others leaving you to climb back down alone. To find someone, you will now offer shelter to your group; ending the chapter and awarding another achievement.

Once inside, you will be asked to leave your stuff behind. This may or may not cause tensions based on your actions; however, it is not major. You will then talk to your old friend thinking of old times. Afterwards, you will be told to help Walt with the cooking although it is really just a chance to talk to another new face.

You will have the opportunity to free roam and to look around. From your start point interact with the can, then head right to pick up the CD then place it in the CD player. Look at the dinner table, the Christmas tree, talk with Sarita, and then look at the decoration, the map on the table and the fireplace.

Now you will need to head upstairs, the path is hidden behind the tree. Once upstairs, you will be asked to find out more about Matthew, the person Walt spoke of. Continue exploring upstairs by talking to Rebecca then interact with the box which contains three items which are star ornament, ball ornament and an angel ornament, which if you remember Sarah liked, so pick that the latter.

Shortly after dinner, you should be ready which will force you to pick which table you wish to sit at. Depending on where you sit, the conversations will differ from one another to start with but others will join the others- table and things will get heated.

You will be asked to head outside by Walt as an effort to calm things down, this will allow you to get to know him better and soon you will be joined by Kenny. As you walk, you will find a woman spying who will be offered some food by Walt. After this Kenny will ask you to go inside.

When you do, Luke will want to speak to you figuring out who Walt's friend is. He will then ask you to throw away the knife you obtained earlier; however you will be unable to locate it, you will find it missing and unfortunately Walt already has it. This will then lead you to a conversation between yourself and Walt with Nick coming in later. After this ends, the storm approaches unlocking another achievement.

Now the turbine will begin to make noise, causing panic among the group and it is your task to turn it off. start by equipping your lighter then grab the key on the right then insert it in the button on the right; causing it to turn it off. After this, walkers will attack which means you will need to fight them off with your gun.

Ultimately you will run out of ammo, but you are saved; forcing you to fall back to another position. You will pick the gun up then fire it however the kickback proves to be too much. After you are knocked down, you can pick up either the knife or the gun. The knife is better since it is clear you will struggle with the gun.

While the rest mostly consists of fighting outside, you are told to go inside. Upon doing so, you will hear more gunfire which appears to be from Carver and his group until they make their way inside. Alvin will want you to come to him so do so when the action appears and once more till you’re with him.

Unfortunately, you are in a tough spot as Carlos is being hurt. This can play out one of two ways; I will explain both with the use of spoiler tags should you wish to know or not wanting to know.

Episode 3 - In Harm's Way

Depending on your choices from the last episode, this may turn out slightly different with members of your party being captured. However, it will play out the same with Luke still missing and his whereabouts unknown.

When you gain control, interact with the butterfly on the tree which will then prompt a conversation with Sarah. You are then reunited with your kidnappers and are forced back to their compound all tied up. En route, another conversation will happen between your group members.

Before the van stops you will be asked by Kenny to assist with the plan, and regardless of what you pick, it won't pan out how you expect. Afterwards, you will be awarded your first achievement of the episode.

As you are lead into your new home you will have a minor conversation with Sarah until you are lead to your new room. Depending on how events went in the last episode regarding deaths at the cabin, you may or may not have one of your members separated from you, after which you will have a conversation and have a chance to look around.

In the far left, you can talk to Mike. Examine the fish statue, look at the woman from earlier, the beds, Nick (if saved), shelves, soil, fence gap, fence, hose reel, barbed wire, rope and a ladder. When you get close to the gate however, it will prompt a cutscene forcing you to sleep, so if you want to talk to any member of the group, do so first.

As you awake to a brand new day you will be forced to get up and have a word with your new leader, Bill. After the events play out you will be forced into a new area to have some private time with Bonnie, who seems sincere about the actions of the last episode. After the talk with Bonnie, you will then be relocated to another area.

You will be taken to the greenhouse where you will find Sarah shaken by the previous encounter, after a conversation with her. Reggie will then show you how to prune the plants; however, during it you will see Sarah not doing the work required so you can either help her or not. Either way, one of you will be in trouble along with Reggie. so watch how it plays out, earning your next achievement:

You will once again head back down to Bonnie who will have a small errand for you to run. When you do you will find Kenny arguing with another man, which won't last long as you are attacked by walkers. Follow the on-screen prompts until you are rescued. There are two parts where it is about the choice of what weapons to use, but either way, it still plays out the same.

Head back to Bonnie where you will be grabbed hold of. Upon finding out who it is, you will be given conversation options. You will be tasked with finding a radio, which we know is not an easy feat, but for now, resume the episode and head as instructed to Bill.

As you head to Bill you will find Rebecca sobbing, only to find the reason shortly afterwards and have a conversation with Bill. When it is finished you will be dismissed, earning yet another achievement for the episode:

You will rejoin your group to have a conversation about plans of escape. You can mention Luke's plan or that sound attracts lurkers; they will ultimately know about Luke either way. You will talk to the woman from the other day, who is seemingly crazier than Kenny is, and asks for your help with her plan. Grab the rope, then the ladder cage and make your way to the roof.

Once you make it on the roof, head to the right of the greenhouse and look for a skylight that you can open (if you go left there are objects to interact with, but is pointless). Once in, move down the shelves making your way towards the walkie talkies. Pick one up which will prompt you to return back to the group, along with another achievement:

After a small argument of who should take the radio, you will end up with it regardless as Kenny will slip it into your pocket. After this, Bonnie will take you from Troy and she will talk to you about Reggie. Upon doing so you can mention your plan or keep it to yourself; either way, she will allow you to go.

Make your way to the comic store where Luke is located. You can explore the area, searching for Luke but Troy will find you and drag you away. You will find Luke has been caught and your plan about the radios will have been found out. You have two options: confess or remain silent; both options end up being the same.

With the radio returned it turns rather ugly. You have will have several options given to you as it plays out, each option will be hidden in a spoiler tag should you wish to know, if not pick which you want to do.

Not in Nottingham in The Walking Dead Collection - The Telltale Series

When you wake up you will be back inside your living area with the group debating when to leave; regardless of what is picked the end result is the same. You will be picked for the unfortunate task of setting the PA system by the group since only you can climb the ladder.

Once you regain control, if Alvin was taken from you earlier, he is still in the chair which you can interact with. If not, head to the PA system box behind the desk (if Alvin is not around, search the desk first as it contains a gun). Once there, turn on the external speakers, the volume knob and then the CD receiver which won't work as it is missing the disk. The disk is located under Clem's left arm which is hard to notice unless you are looking for it. Place it in and let the fun begin, along with yet another achievement:

Now a cut scene will play leading you to rejoin your group. Upon doing so, Bill will be holding them at gunpoint. As you move closer you will get the choice to jump onto him, disarming him. After this, you will get your say on what to do with him. Kenny will take actions into his own hands, so you can either stay to watch it or leave; it does not matter which as it plays out exactly the same.

You will be outside attempting to make your escape by killing walkers and then covering yourself with their lovely gooey insides. There is very little you can do to change the events that happen during this part, simply play them out until you reach Sarita. You will then have two choices: kill the walker to remove the head or chop Sarita's arm off. Doing either will end the episode, unlocking the last achievement:

Once again, the episode will start pretty much where the last episode left off, giving a brief recap. Depending on your actions in the last few minutes with dealing with the walkers attacking Sarita, it will play out differently.

Best Laid Plans in The Walking Dead Collection - The Telltale Series

You will obtain the "Best Laid Plans" achievement upon completing the above part of the story and are shortly reunited with Rebecca. After a short conversation, you will need to find a way out, with a gap being on the far right. As you begin walking you will find Jane somewhat blending in well with a plan to get you out. When she asks you to attract the walker, I personally prodded it, seemingly doing the job well enough.

As you continue through the forest Rebecca will be having problems, so try to reassure her to cause fewer problems. After a fight between your group, Rebecca will storm off prompting your group to keep moving. Eventually, you will head to the meeting point.

After a short conversation with Kenny who blames the entire situation on you which will force you away. Afterwards, your group will head off to find your missing members, leaving Rebecca, Kenny and Mike. You and Jane will go out looking, spending some alone time with each other and learning more about her past. She will try and teach you the ways of pick-pocketing and upon doing so, unlock the "Path Less Travelled" achievement:

As you continue to search the bodies for items, you will stumble upon Sarah's glasses, shortly followed by the voices of Luke and Sarah which prompts you to find a way in. However, there will be a walker blocking your way which you will need to deal with.

After entering, you will follow Jane who is dealing with the two zombies. Look around the corner and pick the truck which will prompt you to move. However, before you can move you will be grabbed. While you are dealing with this one, Jane will defend you from the remaining two until you are free to deal with one, using your newly acquired knee trip.

The key here is to make noise, so head to the truck and use the horn which will make noise, but not enough. We need to keep it going with a cleverly placed body of the dead which you can do by heading to the nearest one to Jane and selecting the dialogue. Afterwards, you will head across with the plan falling apart. Once you reach the door, kick it down to enter inside and use the quick time events to block the door.

Sarah will be in a catatonic state which you will need to try your best to break her out of. Should you try to hug her she will shrug you off, so use your conversation options to try and get through to her (on the second option I picked the “I know what you're going through” option which seemingly snapped her out of this briefly).

Now you will need to escape which requires you to find something big enough that can reach the skylight; the only thing being the furniture blocking the door. Select it and then head back to the room with it. Now you will have one last chance to convince Sarah which might work. If it doesn't, the second chance is to slap her. If you have will to do it then do so, otherwise bolt to prevent being eaten.

A Heavy Burden in The Walking Dead Collection - The Telltale Series

After your escape, you will head back with your survivors to the group. The bad news will be passed on and you will be asked to talk to Kenny, since he had a family and may know how to help, so head over to the tent. After the conversation with Kenny, both of you will leave the tent with Rebecca ready to give birth. After your group splits you will be given options of where to go; personally, you should pick Jane first as you will go find Bonnie and Mike later on regardless.

After catching up to Jane you will need to walk over and talk to her in the distance, as she sits alone on the bench, to proceed. You will then come to a locked door which Jane will try to pick while you look for something to break it, earning another achievement:

You can explore the upper ledge area; however, if you want to progress the story, head away from Jane to the platform overlooking the forest and pick the closest viewing scope which will prompt a stranger to approach.

When you hide you have the option to look to see what it is he is up to. Either way, you will be spotted which will prompt a gun being shoved into your face which Jane will take away from him. You will have a moral choice here to decide whether to take his medicine for yourself or allow him to keep it; the events will play the same, but if you are curious or unsure what effect this will have, it will be in spoiler tags as it is considered a spoiler.

After you have made your choice, Luke will approach you and talk about Jane. After this you will need to head back to the camp. Once here you can talk to Rebecca, Kenny and Sarah if you wish to before you head off to find Mike and Bonnie. You could look around the area which is the one and only chance to do so, along with a story achievement which cannot be missed.

History Lesson in The Walking Dead Collection - The Telltale Series

After reuniting with Bonnie and Mike, as soon as you regain control, down from where you start near the cannons will be a jacket you can pick up. After the conversation, head to the ticket office, interact with the box and then open the shutter. Afterwards, you'll be hinted at going through. Deal with events as they unfold until you find a raccoon. Follow it until everyone wishes to go back.

Once back at the camp, walkers will be all around which will part a speedy withdrawal. While Kenny defends the group you can either get Mike to assist with water, get Sarah or help Kenny. My personal suggestion is the water. The walkers will continue to close in once you all reach the observation deck. If you chose to steal the medicine from Arvo earlier, now would be the time to use it.

Mike will call for help as the walkers continue to advance. You can either help or stay with Rebecca; however, doing so will be short-lived regardless. When the gate gives way, begin to move the cannon which will be more than heavy enough to hold the gate. The next part will be within spoiler tags should you choose to know what happens for your options: it is to either save Sarah or Pull up Jane.

Now the walkers will be using the collapsed decking in order to climb up. Quickly select the option to destroy the deck and then select the support pole on the building. Once completed the deck will fall, leaving you safe for the time being and happy for a brief moment with your group, along with an achievement to boot:

Once you wake up you will have a conversation with Rebecca and hold Alvin Jr should you wish to do so. Afterwards, you will spot Jane as she wanders off, leaving the group. She will offer you the nail file before you go. As of writing this, I am unsure of the impact, but I would not turn down a free item.

As the conversation heats up between Kenny and Luke, you can put one, or both, of them in their place before the group decides what to do. Regardless of your vote, the group will decide to head out in the morning making your choice rather pointless.

As your group sets out in the cold, Rebecca will be struggling, while more arguing between Luke and Kenny breaks out. Once it has subsided, you will once again see Arvo who will approach your group and lead you straight into a trap. After much more Russian speaking it will become a Mexican stand-off between your group and theirs. During the conversation, if you mention you have a baby, it will throw them off their game somewhat and this new event will unfold.

Kenny will then grab Arvo to convince the others to stop firing. However, it backfires with his sister reanimating which you need to deal with. During the confusion, Jane will reappear dealing with the last guy. After a short conversation with Jane, your group will stand around Rebecca, morning her loss with an achievement earned. Afterwards, your group will take Arvo with them as a promise of food is too enticing.

Your group will head off with another stimulating conversation with Jane, who will point out that she thinks Kenny is at his breaking point. Any replies you make do not really have any repercussions so don't worry and enjoy the peace. Your group will have a brief rest due to Luke being unable to carry his weight on his shot leg. You get a chance to converse with Luke and are told to clean Kenny's eye.

You'll need to do some button presses to apply it to Kenny's eye while you converse with him even able to look at the damage done by Carver. Shortly afterwards your group will be prompted to leave by Bonnie. Upon doing so earns the Miles To Go achievement:

Your group will stumble upon an abandoned power plant and your group will opt to stay the night, along with a brief moment of bonding with Aj. This is probably your only chance to have a toasty, quiet moment with you and your group. Once you regain control, you can look around, talk to Arvo and then offer both Jane and Kenny drinks.

Once your group is gathered around the fire, eventually Mike will want to share some of the drink with Arvo. However, it will not go down as expected. Upon doing so you will earn the "Right of Frost" achievement as the night ends.

Your journey will continue the next day with Arvo leading your group and Luke not doing so well with his limb. After a walker attack, you will find the building Arvo was talking about, not looking so good. I would advise, when asked about the ice, to mention about going slowly on it which may cause fewer problems. Walkers will close in with Arvo bolting causing the group to panic.

However, things never go as planned. It appears Luke is stuck on a bit of fragile ice. Below, once again, are spoilers; depending on your actions, things may change.

Center Cannot Hold in The Walking Dead Collection - The Telltale Series

After the aforementioned events, Jane will rush to help you, taking you inside the house. Kenny will blame Arvo for the event unfolding and start beating him down. You can yell at him to stop which he will or rush to Arvo's side and get hit in the process; your call.

Afterwards, the group will blame Kenny while Jane starts to make a fire. After waking from the nap Jane will offer you some food with Kenny coming in shortly after to ask for help getting a ride sorted.

While fixing the truck Kenny will talk about the past with you. Afterwards, he asks you to go inside. On your way, you can talk to others, explore outside or even talk to Bonnie. Jane will talk to you once more inside the house about how Kenny is acting, and when the time comes, what you will do. Shortly after Kenny will get it working with the group excited, debating where to go and about Kenny being upset. After a conversation, he will opt to sleep.

You will wake up in the middle of the night hearing noises. When you go to check them out you will find members of your group near the truck. This can play out two ways to get to the same ending, just depending on how you get there. Both are below in the spoilers:

Once you do, you will speak with Jane and Kenny who are arguing about what the plan will be. This will go on for some time and you can either pick a side or remain between them. Either way, it plays out roughly the same with your path being blocked by cars. Once you reach this point you will gain another achievement:

Kenny will get out, instructing you to bolt if the worse comes to worst. Wait for Kenny until gunshots are heard. You are then tasked to drive which is bound to go just perfect. Once you stop, shoot the zombie blocking your path and then head outside.

Once outside you will see Jane walk off into the snow, with another walker grabbing you. Shoot it and then you will attempt to follow. As you walk around in the snow there are a couple of walkers you can shoot which you should do for safety purposes. Eventually, you will reach the rest stop that Kenny mentioned earlier, earning another achievement for your efforts:

Once here, Kenny will go off the deep end that Aj has been left with Jane and attempt to try and find her. Shortly after, Jane will reappear with her and Kenny getting into a fight with each other, where you'll play the peacemaker which will ultimately fail. When you head outside, this is where the fight's climax is with Kenny on top of Jane. There are different ways it can end, spawning from two simple choices below which arear in spoiler tags:

We find out that AJ is entirely fine with his whole death being nothing more than a lie. Depending on who survived the encounter, you forgive their actions and stay with them, or condemn them for going off alone. Once again, they are inside spoiler tags should you choose not to know.

Wellington Ending

These endings can only be obtained by staying with Kenny. If you don't forgive him for killing Jane, these endings are not obtainable; if you don't, see the "Lone Survivor" ending.

This ending shows Kenny and Clem joking around as they approach Wellington, which is no longer taking people in due to being overpopulated. Kenny barters for you and AJ to stay. Below is how each choice can play out:

A long conversation between Javi and David's wife Kate ensues until they reach a salvage yard and the chapter ends.

Javi, Kate and Kate's two stepkids, Gabe and Mariana enter the salvage yard. A walker approaches and Javi puts it down in an easy 3 button not-that-quick time event. You even get a crowbar as an added bonus. Brooding teenager Gabe wanders off into the yard and after a brief conversation, we have control over Javi for the first time.

You can ignore the barrels, school bus, soiled mattress and all the other junk and proceed further into the yard and to the left to find two blue cars to siphon gas from. The left one has a walker hiding under it that's dealt with in a single blow. Head past these cars to siphon more gas from a rusty old truck. You have enough gas to leave now if you want Head right past the large tires and green shipping container to find a ladder in the rear of the yard. Looking at it, then interacting with it again will prompt a choice to climb it or not.

If you want to talk with Kate or Mariana and haven't yet, do so now, but otherwise go ahead and climb the ladder, as Gabe comes along with you. Siphon gas from the ambulance, prying off the cap. While the fuel siphons, head to the left to draw out a walker that can be killed with a single button press. The nearby trailer door is locked and can't be pried open, but a peek through the window reveals a floor hatch. Move the wood by the stairs and enter the hole it was covering, then crawl to the hatch and enter the well-stocked trailer.

Poke around a bit until you're faced with a major decision: Side with the kids and stay the night, or side with Kate and get back on the road. I chose to stay the night, which results in a conversation with Kate. While retrieving the gas can...

Once you save someone from being attacked the gate will be open and you'll be able to go enter the compound, named Prescott.

Once inside the tavern, head up to the bar and talk with the people playing cards, one of whom recognizes Javi from his time as a professional baseball player. Offer your advice to the other card player if you like, before Javi returns to

Chapter 5 begins with Javi and Clementine in lockup after Eli was shot by Clementine. The closest thing Prescott has to a doctor soon arrives and Javi can either play it cool or turn on the charm ...either way he strikes out. Tripp, the leader of Prescott, shows up and says he'll take Javi and Clem to the junkyard in the morning. Eleanor, the medic, offers to let the two of you out the back gate instead. You're faced with a major choice: leave with Tripp in the morning (Clem's suggestion and what I chose) or leave with Eleanor that night.

At this point, you'll experience a flashback through Clem's eyes that will differ depending on who she ended up with at the end of Season 2. Regardless of your past decisions and the scene you get, the chapter after the flashback concludes.

You will start this episode with a flashback of Javier talking to Kate while she is washing the dishes. She accidentally destroys David's glass which he got from his captain in the army. You can either choose to let Kate and David fight it out or keep yourself in the background.

Afterwards, you'll be back in the present and you need to treat Kate's wound with the doctor. You'll need to extract the bullet before she can stitch it. Either allow Gabe to stay or send him off. After Kate's operated successfully, head outside the gate to Gabe and have a chat with him.

Either give him Ariana's walkman or keep that to yourself. After a while, you'll notice guys attacking you. Run back to Prescott and the achievement should unlock.

You'll start this chapter at the gate of Prescott. The same guys who killed Mariana show up and they want revenge for their fallen friends. They have a hostage which they want to trade for you. You get the option to either open fire or decide to come down yourself. In case you stay up, keep shooting the dudes. When you go down, grab the tool to kill some of the guys before running back inside. Tear gas will be thrown inside along with a van with zombies. Head away from the screen, killing zombies on your way, to get to Gabe and Kate. Shoot the guy in the car after dodging him. Then get in the car and head off with Gabe, Kate and the doctor.

This chapter is all conversation, so you could in theory just let it idle. You will first talk in the group about what to do next. Gabe will draw a gun on Conrad, and you will get to talk him out of shooting. The group decides to head for Richmond. You will be talking to Kate in the back of the car for the rest of the chapter. You'll talk about Gabe and about Kate's wounds. When you reach a roadblock, the achievement pops.

On the Road Again in The Walking Dead Collection - The Telltale Series

Once you get control over Javi, move to the right to a red car and investigate the trunk to acquire some car cables. Then move over to the left and open the garage door. Kill the walker and take his wrench. Then investigate the truck, use the cables on the engine to allow the truck's battery to run again. Then use the wrench on the engine and then use the other cable which allows you to pull one of the cars from the road.

Walkers will run through, kill those to let Eleanor and Kate to drive off. Keep fighting them until you make it to the roof. Then walk forward with your gun ready to look for the guy who was eavesdropping on you. Talk to the guy about Richmond, and eventually choose to either tie him up or to trust him. Then head off to Richmond.

You will start with a flashback where Clementine will run with AJ and hide in a trailer. Block the door and try and stop AJ from crying. After a while, someone else will enter. You will talk to her and after a while, she will offer you a place with blankets and food for AJ.

Inside the tunnel in the present, Clementine will tell Javier that she's got something to tell him (she was one of "them", the new frontier). You will have to fight some walkers in the tunnel and run into a train. Block the door to prevent walkers from entering. Conrad will draw a gun on you and take Gabe as hostage. You get the option to either Shoot Conrad or to give up Clementine.

Back in the present, David lets Kate and Gabe in, but you and your friends need to go into quarantine. After some discussion whether it is fair of them to put you in quarantine, you will be allowed to enter Richmond with David, though your friends get to stay in quarantine.

After a discussion, you are voted to leave with 2 of your friends. Eleanor, Kate and Gabe are allowed to stay.

The bag contains a map with a place to go. Look at the Objective, and at the settlement with its expansions. Afterwards, look a the star on the left to situate the North. You will need to fight off some walkers and after that, you will meet Clementine again.

Eventually, the thugs will arrive and a confrontation will take place. After choosing whether or not to beat Badger to death, you'll then get a choice on what to do with Max. Once you make that choice, the chapter ends and the achievement unlocks.

Either scenario will unlock the achievement after the scene ends.

Then you'll go back to the present. Press Y to shoot a zombie, then move left to dodge a bullet. Press cn_A three times to dismember a zombie approaching the van. Then Fire three times to blind fire at Joan's gunmen. When a zombie jumps you, mash cn_A then shoot its brains out. Then press cn_A to attack the zombie with the dismembered leg. Save David, then someone will surprise you. Move left to smash a zombie with your bat.

Episode 1: In too Deep

You'll start off straight away with your first Quick-Time Event (QTE). Just move cn_LS in the desired direction to complete these ones. After a mini-cut scene, you'll have your first interaction. These white circles will appear on anything that can be interacted with, just like other TellTale titles. Once inside the door you will have your first cut scene with QTE's that will require you to press the correct button or combination of buttons, otherwise you die. There are lots of these throughout but they really aren't difficult and you shouldn't have many problems.

After this you will have to make your first decision and you meet your first compatriot. The opening sequence will roll and....

You'll get into your first conversation; during these you can select your responses. These may impact the way the game plays out for you or what other characters think of you. Remember, silence is a valid option.

Play up to where you get to control the radio, turn the left nob fully to the right, then turn the right nob to the left until you hear the voice. Once you take control on the boat deck use your flash-light over the starboard side of the ship to find out what you hit. After that carry on walking round the ship and help Oak and Siddiq with the sails. Right next to them use your binoculars over the prow of the boat and focus on the ferry in the distance. Go speak to Pete and you will get:

After some conversation on the boat for a while with Pete, you will be ambushed by some walkers and a QTE sequence will follow. After you've fought them off, you will have to pick your entrance to the ferry and you next achievement will soon follow.

I went the ladder way. If you chose the window, just make your way forward to activate a QTE cutscene and make your way upstairs where you will come across a walker hanging in front of the door you want to enter.

If you went up the ladder go towards the door and open the locker next to it and grab the metal bar, use this to help you get inside. When examining the dead body look at the zip-ties on the wrist and the bullet wound in the forehead.

Keep playing and you will reach the same walker in front of the door. Cut down the walker, open the door and look at the yellow duffel bag on the counter. Once you take control again open the locker next to the window. Attempt to open the door and open the cash register full of money to activate the next cut scene. There will be a QTE sequence during this and once you make your choice whether to chase the girl or leave her, the cut scene will end. After this you will get:

You will find yourself on another boat, not by choice this time. There will be some conversation with Randall who just captured you. You are on the way back to their camp, once you finish talking you will arrive and get locked up.

When chained up, examine the 4 things you can see in front of you then after that look at the toys to the left of the cage. Then look to the right..... After the hallucinations, you and Sam will talk about ambushing anyone who comes to get you. After making your decision Randall will come and get you and you will be taken up to his sister Norma. After a lot of talking about yourself and your crew Pete will be bought up and you will be taken away to a new location.

Zachary is then forced to attempt to interrogate you by Randall, this can obviously only end well. When you get control look to the right to cut your zip-ties then left to pick up the shirt. Then turn your attention to Greg on the floor. Carry on playing, make your big decision of the chapter. Once Zachary bursts back into the room the episode will come to an end.

Episode 2: Give No Shelter

We start where we left off on the boat. After the cutscene shuffle along the wall, take out the guard and go rescue Pete. In the little action where you have to poke your head over the wall to get a look, just do it for a short time. You'll know when you've been looking too long when your screen starts to go red. You then attempt to rescue Pete but get caught by Norma. After your choices play out, there is a little fight scene with a QTE sequence. Then the alarm sounds and everyone is looking for you. When prompted, examine the boat and make your way to it, with or without Pete. There will be a couple of button prompts to press on your way. You will leave on the boat. Make sure to duck on the way out so you don't get sniped.

Nothing much to talk about in this chapter, once you make it to the shore the gang from Monroe (the community you just burnt down) will arrive behind you and force you to the ground. Just crawl forwards to safety, when you stop getting shot, Michonne will use her favourite trick to navigate the group through the walker herd. Just walk forward while following the button prompts. She will start to hallucinate again and as soon as you're clear you will unlock.

Sam will suggest you take a short-cut to her house, climbing a fallen pylon. Climb the pylon following the button prompts whilst getting shot at by Randall and his friendly buddies. Then once you reach the top, do what you need to do on Sam. Soon after this you will receive.

You will now be walking through the woods with Sam. During this there will be some QTE's so look out for them. This will go on for about 4 or 5 minutes before Sam passes out and you have to carry her, you will then spot the house and there will be another cutscene. After you take control, just move forward quick enough to avoid the walkers catching up with you. You will then get let through the gates follow the button prompts to shut out the walkers and you will run into the house. When you're treating Sam on the table pick up the Vodka bottle and sterilise the wound, pick up the aspirator and then the pliers, follow the button prompts after this. Sam's dad will run in to help. After she's been treated there will be some more conversation. The kids will realise Greg hasn't come back and when you give them the bad news you will unlock.

Once you enter the flashback touch the paint splodge on the left hand side of the room, follow the trail into the next room. Examine the smashed window you see as soon as you enter. Keep walking to the right and unzip the suitcase in the middle of the room. Continue walking right into the kitchen and pick up the phone and choose to redial. Exit the kitchen, walk to the left as the screen is facing. Then examine the take-out containers on the dining room table, and the picture of her daughters. After making your decision to either answer the phone or chase the stranger there will be a cut-scene with your choice, once that had finished you will zone back into the present day and unlock.

You will go outside and speak to Sam's Dad, once you have finished you will be interrupted by a mean headshot. There will be a button prompt to move cn_LSl to avoid getting shot and dying. You will find yourself in cover behind a wooden fence, you must either look left or right and pick one of the 2 targets to go and attack; your friends will get the other one. There will be a QTE sequence and once they are both dead the next achievement will unlock.

Randall will show up and you will have to fight him. There is a lengthy QTE sequence culminating in him being clamped in a vice. Then after about 7-8 minutes of conversation with Randall and your friends you will make your big decision of the chapter and once the screen fades out that is the end of Episode 2.

Episode 3: What We Deserve

We kick off Episode 3 with some conversation from 2 weeks previous to where we are in the story. You will be on the boat with your crew, just pick your conversational choices. About 3 minutes later Oak will ask if you want to play cards. After you select your decision the screen will fade out and you will earn your first achievement of the Episode.

When we get back you will get into conversation with your colleagues about Randall and what Norma is going to do to you, Sam storms off. You'll go outside to see what's what, you will see aberrations of your daughters again. You can choose whether to help Sam or not. Once you walk away back into the house you will unlock.

Now go ahead and speak to James in front of you. When you get control again head up the stairs, you will see your daughters again. Attempt to move towards them and they will run off into a closet. Open the door and you will find Alex and you will have a short conversation with him. When you emerge from the closet walk out the door to your left. Then enter the room right next to it and give the ammo to Paige. You can now head back downstairs. If you haven't given Sam ammo already, the entrance to her room is in the kitchen.

If Pete is still with you:

Head through the door to the left of the staircase to find Pete and hand him a gun. Talk to Pete and then head back into the hallway for a cutscene.

If Pete is not with you:

It will go straight to the cutscene.

You will speak to Sam and they will mourn their father whilst you talk to Paige. A short while later Norma will arrive and you will unlock.

There will be a short conversation then you will have to open the gate. Use cn_LSl to push the gate open. There are many paths of conversation you can choose from here, but in the end, you will make a break to get back through the gate. Once this happens you will get your next achievement.

A short fight sequence will follow. Just press the button prompts to get through it. Use some of your 'Instincts' to stop yourself being drowned and after a brutal death you will end up falling back to the house. Once back in the house there will be another QTE sequence you will have to use cn_LS to crawl to safety and follow the other button prompts to move Michonne to escape the burning house. You will head upstairs and enter some dialogue and some QTE's with your daughters. After this sequence you will be with Sam by the window ready to jump out. This is when your daughters turn up at really the wrong time. You will have a decision whether to stay with your daughters or leave with Sam. When you eventually make your way out of the window you will get.

The last chapter is just a little conversation by the water, nothing to this bit apart from choosing your dialogue.
