Revenant Saga

So what we have here is a walkthrough for Revenant Saga, another RPG from the assembly line known as Kemco. I'd say it's probably one of their worst releases, maybe you'll feel differently. Revenant Saga is a turn-based RPG where your characters can transform, becoming stronger and allow them to use a new set of abilities. As you stay transformed your synchro meter builds, and if it goes too high the character may go berserk and do something random. That's about the only unique thing in this compared to other Kemco releases.

Anyway, the completion is straight forward. Complete the game while grabbing treasure chests, do the true end, and then clean up misc. achievements like 200 hits in a row and 250,000 steps taken. There is a hypothetical missable achievement, but it only becomes as such if you sell a certain ring, which I'll talk about more on page 2.

As with most Kemco games, the controls are pretty standard and the game explains them to you as you go, so I don't have much to say about it. The only thing I'll point out is Revenant Saga does not have a minimap or map of any kind unlike other Kemco games, so it can be much more confusing trying to navigate certain areas.

As for the achievements, there is one chest that appears to only be accessible if you have the "Immobile Ring", the chest is in an area called the "Sanctum". The ring lets you walk over arrow tiles without them pushing you around. The chest is in a room full of these arrow tiles, but none of the paths lead to the chest, meaning the only way to access it is to use the ring to walk over the arrow tiles and grab it. If you lose or sell the ring, you're out of luck with this save file so it's missable. The in-game shop for Revenant Saga does not sell this ring (as it does in most Kemco games) and you only get one from chests. I have no clue if this is a bug, an oversight or an intended feature but Kemco games don't seem to get patches, so I wouldn't expect this to change. Anyway, don't sell anything until you open all the chests and you'll be fine either way. The chests achievement in Revenant Saga is also unique from other Kemco games because you need to get every chest, where most Kemco games only require you get most of them.

As for the other achievements, they are pretty standard for most Kemco games. Get treasure chests, 200 hits, steps taken, do all the quest, etc. All of these are either story related or not missable, so you don't have to worry about anything other than keeping the Immobile Ring. I mention it again when you get it in the walkthrough, just to be safe. As for everything else, a lot of the one-off and cumulative stuff will unlock during the story, and then we'll clean them up afterward.

Choose a new game and then easy. After the scenes, you'll be asked about the basic controls. Once that's done you'll get an achievement.

Enter the house south of you and head north. Exit the house and head east for a scene. Return to Anna's house and go north for a scene. Now exit and head east to the inn. It has a sign with a moon and stars on it outside. Head inside for a scene, then exit for another scene. Use the south exit to leave the town and then head north, following the road. At the fork go west to enter the doctor's lab, then head north. You may encounter a fight or two. Just use a regular attack to win (or turn on auto-battle by press cn_Y). Once you get there you'll get odd scenes. When you regain control go south to the wall, then east to a fork. Head north and then down the stairs. Now head north, but keep an eye to the west, as you'll see a chest with Idle OreX4 (1/296). Continue north for a scene, and then a fight. 2 regular attacks will be enough. After that will be some scenes, then you'll regain control in a town. You'll see a chest southwest of you, you'll need to go through the trees to the west and approach it from the southwest to reach it. It has a Shortsword (2/296). Unlike most Kemco games, Revenant Saga doesn't have a minimap. Best you can do is press cn_X to zoom out until you release cn_X. Anyway, head to the inn north of you. You'll have a scene, then a battle, followed by another scene. When you regain control enter the inn, take the east exit, then check the southeast corner for a chest with Normal Crystal (L)X2 (3/296). There is an achievement for upgrading a weapon to +999, but unlike most games, you won't have to grind gold for a while to upgrade. So you can feel free to use the crystals if you like. You'll earn enough money late game to upgrade multiple weapons. Now head to the order's HQ here (which I will simply refer to as the church), which is the church-looking building in the west part of town. After a scene, leave town. You'll have a scene, and then an achievement will unlock.

The game will explain transforming to you. Basically, you can choose to transform at any time during battle. When you do, you unlock a second set of abilities that can only be used when transformed. You'll see a bar under each character's stats, this is their synchro gauge. As it fills, the damage you do is increased, and the damage you take is decreased. It usually builds up 1% per turn when you are transformed. Above 50%, you have a chance of going berserk, which will make your character do a random action. I've never seen a character attack your own party, so it's not even that big of a deal, usually. As you go above 50% the chance to berserk increases. It does have some downsides though. If a boss uses a skill to reflect physical damage and your character goes berserk and uses a physical attack, you're gonna have a bad time. The other problem is that you can't be healed when transformed, and if you die when transformed then you can't be revived until after the battle. However you can spend the vast majority of the game using auto-battle, and I would suggest it, and you don't even need to transform much outside of bosses. However having the gauge up to at least 50% makes a huge difference, so you may want to do battles manually to transform and build it up before you use auto-battle. I didn't bother with it until much later in the game and only learned how big the boost is later on. Anyway, head into the menu and select strategy, then tactics. Select unity settings and then select "Go all out!". This will make your characters spam skills, there's an achievement for using 2000, so auto-battle will work toward that. I would also change the difficulty to easy, unless you want a challenge. Head north. You'll reach a road sign, keep heading north until you get a scene. After the scene, continue along the path until you reach a cave. That's Hokto Peak.

Hokto Peak

Pretty much every time you enter a new area, you'll get a scene a few steps in. After it, go north into the cave. Go up both sets of stairs to find a chest with an Escape Feather (4/296). Go down the big set of stairs and go east for a scene, drop down the cliff by simply walking into it. Follow the path to a fork and head north. You'll reach some spikes and get a scene. Needless to say, don't step on them. Follow the path back outside. You'll see a chest south of you, drop down the ledge to get it, it has a Jewel (S) (5/296). Drop down the ledge below you and head east to find a chest with STR MatterX2 (6/296). These Matter items give permanent stat boosts to the character who uses. !!!DO NOT!!! use HP Matter on anyone, as this will cause big problems when we're doing stuff late game. You can use the other Matter items on characters though, like these STR Matters. Drop down and retrace your steps, and instead of dropping down the first ledge to the chest go east.

Once you enter a cave, you'll have 2 exits. Take the east one to find two chests with a Mini Chakram (7/296) and INT MatterX2 (8/296). Leave and take the other exit. Follow the path to go back inside a cave, then go south for a scene. Kemco games love to have hidden paths to chests, and this game is no different. However, the marker for most of them is quite amusing. You'll see grass on both the entrance and the exit of the passage. Go through it to find a chest with Normal Crystal (L)X8 (9/296). Continue south to the next area. Go west and you'll see a glowing circle, these heal you to full when you step on them. Further east is a chest with Full CureX3 (10/296). Now head into the cave east of the healing circle. A few steps in you'll get a prompt. When you're about to fight a boss, the game gives you the option to back off and heal up or whatever before fighting. Anyway, choose the top option to fight. After a scene, you'll have a fight. While the revenants are stronger than previous fights you can still auto-battle through it just fine. If you intend to fight manually, transform everyone and use their transform-only abilities to make short work of them. After the scene grab the chests to the north, with Poison OreX2 (11/296) and a Swiss Army Knife (12/296). Exit Hokto Peak and you'll get a scene. You can either use the Escape Feathers to leave immediately or walk back to fight battles and level up, I always walked back, up to you though.

After the scene, follow the path to the road sign and go east. As you go you'll get a scene. Eventually, you'll reach a fork, a tiny bit east is Rhys, our objective. Inside head to the equipment shop and upgrade. Didn't have enough money to upgrade everyone's weapon and armor, but do what ya can. Head to the northeast house, and talk to the guy north of you. After the scenes reenter Rhys and talk to the lady with the purple squiggly thing above her head, she has a side quest: "Finishing Touches". She wants a Scarlet Pimpernels. Exit the village and follow the path to the roadsign, you'll come across a sparkle on the world map, that is the item. If you'd like, you can fight battles until you can afford equipment for everyone. I bought everyone's new weapon and a Leather Collar for each member. If you're playing on easy like me, the boost to attack and speed means more than a little extra defense. When you're ready to go, exit Rhys and head east. You'll get a scene, and eventually reach Elvei Laboratory. Head inside for a scene. Head north to a fork, go west for a chest with a Copper Crystal (S)X6 (13/296). Now go to the fork and head east. You'll reach an area with 2 chests, with a Berserk Gem (14/296) and an Encounter Ring (15/296) northeast of it. The Encounter Ring is like the Attract Ring in other Kemco games. Every step you take starts a fight. If you ever need to grind for money or experience, this ring makes it quicker. The Berserk Gem gives a massive boost to STR/INT/SPD, but the character will always attack on its own with a regular attack. I went ahead and put this on Albert since I'm just auto-battling anyway, though note there are times where you need to take it off for enemies that reflect physical, so it's up to you. Return to the fork in the first area and go north this time. In the next area go north to a fork, then go east for a chest with a Vitality Ring (16/296). Return to the fork and go west, then west again at the next to find a chest with a Swiss Army Knife (17/296). Now go north at that fork to reach another and go east for a chest with a Beast Gem (18/296). Now take the northwest exit and go north for a scene.

Go north at the fork and after a long path, you'll reach a chest with a Transmeister (19/296). Go back to the fork and go west and you'll come across arrow tiles. When you walk on one, you move in the direction they point until you reach a regular floor tile. Walk across the one pointing north and then head west to the wall, then north. At the fork go east and skip the first southern room and check the next for a chest with an Elvei Key (20/296). Go back to the first fork of the area and go east. You'll reach a door the key opens, continue until you get a scene. Head into the door above you to find 3 chests with a Serrated Sickle (21/296), Fatigue Ore X 2 (22/296) and a Lab Key (23/296). Leave this room and go across the arrow tiles west of you. Use the circle then enter the door north of it. You'll have a boss, you can simply auto-battle it or use transformed skills. Afterward, head north to the next area. You'll have a scene, grab the chest in the west cell with Mind OreX2 (24/296), and the chest in the east cell with Copper Crystal (L)X3 (25/296). Head north and you'll find 2 more cells with chests, Paralysis OreX2 (26/296) and Dodge OreX2 (27/296). Now leave. I got two achievements during this dungeon, 10000 steps and 100 enemies killed. You should be close as well, if you don't have them.

You'll get a scene, return to Rhys (the scene on the way). After a scene, enter the inn for another. Head to the church next, then exit for a scene. You'll get an achievement.

You'll be by a lady with a side quest called "An Ingredient for a Painkiller". Head outside and unequip the Berserk Gem from Albert for a second. Look for a fight with a Werewolf, and use Albert's Heavy Slash until you steal a Hard Fang. Then return to the lady in Rhys to finish her side quest. Leave and head toward Elvei Laboratory. When you get there head east to find the town of Grinoch. You'll have some scenes. When you regain control, check the southeast corner of town for a chest with a Jewel (S) (28/296). In the northeast corner is the inn, under its roof is a chest with a Strength Ring (29/296). Now enter the church in the southwest corner of town. There's a chest in the west room with a Normal Crystal (L) (30/296). Head north and talk to the cleric guy. I bought new weapons for everyone but that's it. Leave for a scene, then head east for another. Follow the path to reach a roadsign and go south, follow this path to our objective, Alsey Woods.

Alsey Woods

You probably saw the tutorial earlier, but there are a few special types of monsters. The small ones are nothing special, but the giant ones can be quite obnoxious. For example, I encountered a Giant Scorpion enemy here, and it could one-shot my characters even on easy. It also had a ridiculous amount of HP, it had to be 10,000 or more. If you encounter such an enemy I would suggest being quite cautious fighting it or simply run. If you want to cheese it, you can have Julia use Curse! to give it a death countdown, and then guard and try to keep everyone healthy for the 3 turns it will take for it to die. I didn't bother building my synchro gauge because I didn't know how big the boost was, so if you do that maybe these are much easier fights. They probably won't spawn yet, but you can also encounter boxes. These might have goodies in them, but you have to destroy them before you kill the "real" enemies. Some of them have some useful stuff in them, but nothing that helps much with achievements.

Anyway, you can follow the dirt road northwest or southwest, go northwest first to find 2 chests with Clay Hoop (31/296) and Trans-Lancet (32/296). Now go back to the first area and take the southwest exit. Follow the path to a fork and go west for a chest with Power OreX2 (33/296). Return to the fork and go north until you see a wooden bridge south of you, walk onto it. You'll reach a fork go north for a chest with a Revenant Gem (34/296). Go back to the fork and go straight south to a chest with a Ruby (35/296). Go a few steps north to a fork and go west to a fork, go southwest to a new area with a chest with Pleasant OreX2 (36/296). Go back to the previous area and take the northwest exit. Follow the path to a fork and go northwest to a chest with a Large Nostrum (37/296). Go the other way at the fork and follow the long path. When you reach a waterfall there's a chest under it with a Sapphire (38/296). A bit west is a chest with Agility OreX2 (39/296). Continue following the path to a fork, go north for a chest with Klepto OreX2 (40/296). Then take the west path to the next area.

Go west, use the circle, and then unequip the Berserk Gem from Albert. Continue west for a boss. The boss will use an ability that reflects all physical attacks, which means a berserk Albert would kill himself in one turn. Use everyone's magical attacks to kill it once it uses its shield. After you win you'll get a scene, return to Grinoch and talk to the cleric in the HQ. Before we leave, talk to the guy in the northwest part of town for a side quest called "Bet You Can't Find Me". He's hiding behind a tree south and a tiny bit east of the inn. Next, he's hiding behind the equipment shop. His last spot is behind the church. If you try talking to him he just cries. Exit the town for a scene, then reenter and talk to the kid, the side quest will complete. Head back outside and head east to the road sign. Go west from here to the town of Rivorno. Head to the church in the northwest part of town and talk to the cleric (you know the drill by now). Now head to the inn (east of you) and talk to the guy at the table. Leave for a scene, it's an intro to a minigame we will explore fully later for achievements, but for now, we aren't strong enough to do much with it. Before we leave, stop by the equipment shop and upgrade everyone's weapons and armor. Leave and fight battles around Rivorno. You need 3 Land Beast Hides from the Land Beast enemies. Albert's Heavy Slash skill is ideal for this, as the drop rate isn't the best. Once you have 3, return to the guy in the inn. Leave town for a scene, then hop on the ship. Head north to an island, then go to its north side and continue north, you'll reach some rocks. Land east of you. Follow the path to a scene and then a fork, go north and you'll reach Codeon Fortress.

Codeon Fortress

Head north up the stairs. Head east for a scene, you'll drop down to the first area. There's plenty of these pitfalls in this area, so make sure you avoid falling unless I say to do so. The first time you walk over the holes the ground will only change, the second time you'll fall. So you'll get a warning. Anyway, go south across the arrow tiles and then up the stairs by them. Head west, avoiding the first hole in the ground and drop down the one in the west corner. Go north up the stairs. Continue north, when you see arrow tiles fall down the hole west of them to find a chest with Magic Armor (41/296). Go back up and cross the arrow tiles this time to a chest with an Iron Gem (42/296). Fall down the hole just west of you. Head east and go up the stairs to find 2 chests with a Topaz (43/296) and a Box Ring (44/296). Return to the room a third time and go north up the stairs this time. Go north up the stairs again. Equip the Iron Gem on someone (it will negate damage from the spike tiles, but only for the one who equips it). Head south over the spikes to find a chest with STR MatterX4 (45/296). Now go north of the stairs, a few steps east, and then south. Stick to the west wall and you should only have to cross 3 spike sets. Grab the chest with Strength OreX2 (46/296). Head north and go east to the wall. Go south and then east to stairs, go past them for now. Head east until you can go south, do so to find a chest with Rage OreX3 (47/296). Continue east to the wall, grab the chest in the corner with HP Ring (48/296). Go south past the stairs to find a chest with Barrier StoneX3 (49/296). Return to the stairs in the middle and go down them. Activate the pink switch and go back up the stairs, then go north up the stairs. Go north to the next area, then do it again. In this room go north (not up the stairs yet) to a chest with Normal Crystal (L)X10 (50/296). This will get you an achievement for 50 chests.

Now head up the stairs I told you to ignore a second ago. Head north, you'll see a chest with Normal Crystal (L)X8 (51/296). North of that you'll see 3 holes in the ground, take the right one to drop by a chest with Large NostrumX3 (52/296). Go back up the stairs and go down the hole west of the one you just went down to find a chest with Rising Sun (53/296). Go back up the stairs and keep going north to find a chest with Silver Crystal (S)X8 (54/296). There's a third chest just north of that one with Silver Crystal (L)X3 (55/296). Use the stairs nearby. Head west and grab the partially obscured chest with a Synchro Ring (56/296). Head all the way north, use the magic circle and go up the stairs. Go north for a boss fight, nothing too difficult. After a scene, follow the path north to the next area, where you'll have some scenes, and an achievement.

Now you can leave and return to the ship. Return to Rivorno, head to the church, then the inn, then return to the church. Before we leave we have a side quest to do. Head south from the church and talk to the kid to start "Love Poem Support". You have to leave town and come back in and talk to him 3 times to finish the quest. Once that's done head back to the island Codeon Island is on and head to the fork, and go south, you'll reach Credeth Bastion.

Credeth Bastion

Inside, take the northwest path first to the next area. As you go you'll see a path through the wall to a chest with a Magic Hat (57/296). Back on the main path follow it to a northwest/northeast fork and go northwest. You'll see a chest north of you with an Iron Sword (58/296). Go west to find a boss, I just auto-battle it. Now go back to that fork and go northeast to the next area. Go east to a fork and go east to find a chest with Large NostrumX2 (59/296). Now go south to find a chest with a Resuscitate Gem (60/296). Continue south to the next area. Follow the path and then go up the small stairs, follow the north path around to a chest with Knowledge OreX2 (61/296). Now take the south path from the stairs. At the north/south fork go north to find another boss. Once it's down, go back to the fork and go south. At the north/east fork go north for a chest with an Iron Chakram (62/296) and then go east to the next area. Go east and you'll see a chest partially hidden by the south wall with a Big Ring (63/296). Head east to the next area.

Go east to the fork and go east and kill the boss. After that return to the fork and go south to the bottom and go east for a chest with Copper Crystal (S)X6 (64/296). Backtrack up the first set of stairs and then go west and drop down to grab the 2 chests with Magic Ring B (65/296) and Cunning Sickle (66/296). Go through the wall and head south to the first area, and go through the door. Follow the path to the next area. In this lava-filled area, follow the path until you see a chest east of you, grab it for a Quartz (67/296). Continue along the path until you reach a west/east fork and go east for a chest with HP MatterX6 (68/296). Now go west. You'll reach a magic circle and a cave, continue north first. You'll find a passage in the wall that leads to a chest with Endurance OreX2 (69/296). Now use the magic circle and go into the cave for a boss. This boss can sleep characters. You can auto-battle but might need to intervene to heal once or twice if he puts enough characters to sleep. Once it's dead, head back to Rivorno and return to the church, then go to the inn. After all the scenes, head downstairs and talk to Bruno. After that scene exit the town for another. Head back into town and go to the northwest dock and talk to the girl to start "Fish Bait". Get on the ship, you need 2 Barnacles from the killer fish (the grey ones). Use Albert's Heavy Slash to try and get them faster. Once you have them return to the lady to finish the quest. From here head east and follow the path to Tarrant. Head to the northwest house, then leave and go east, then north to the graveyard. Now return to Albert's house. After all the scenes, leave and upgrade your equipment. Talk to the old lady in the middle of town to start the side quest "Reason Unable to Travel". Just walk around town outside and kill 6 Killer Slugs, then return to her and finish it. With that done leave the town and go north to a fork, and go west to Krokus Laboratory.

Krokus Laboratory

Go north and go down the stairs. Follow the path through a couple of areas. Eventually, you'll see a chest east of you with an Anger Ring (70/296). Go south for a scene. South of you, you'll find a chest with a Burst Ring (71/296). Before messing with the arrow tiles go west to find a chest with a V-Tech Sword (72/296). Head east to the area with arrow tiles. Go south first, then east, south, east, east again. East of you is a chest with Paralysis OreX3 (73/296). North of that is 2 chests with Iron Sickle (74/296) and a Lab Key (75/296). Go west across the arrow tiles and then north. Go north to the 4 way fork and go east. When the path turns south you'll see a pipe coming out of the wall, it's a secret passage to a chest north of you with a Frumpy Corsage (76/296). Follow the path, you'll see a chest east of you with a Bloody Knife (77/296). Keep going through the locked door, to the stairs that lead to a new area. Use the magic circle and go north for a scene. Afterward, grab the chest with Copper Crystal (L)X8 (78/296), then enter the circle for a boss fight. Not that hard at all. Once it's done head back to Tarrant, and you'll find a side quest guy in the west side of town, he gives "Whereabouts of Whiskey". Go north to Albert's house, and northeast of it you'll see the bottle behind the tree above the kid, return to the guy. Head back to Krokus Laboratory and go east. After a scene, you'll reach the city of Motrihl.

Motrihl

This is technically a dungeon, not a town. Enter the house south of you and check the chest inside with Copper Crystal (L)X10 (79/296). Exit and head to the inn northeast of you. You'll have Esther again, and you'll get an achievement.

In the northwest corner of the inn, you'll find a chest with a Zealot Headband (80/296). Leave the inn and take the path north of the inn. At the east/south fork go east first to find a chest with Agility Cuffs (81/296). Return to the fork and go south. When you reach the next fork go east to find a chest with HP MatterX2 (82/296). Now go north at the fork. After you see some rocks south of you you can't move, you'll reach a chest with Megaton Scythe (83/296). Head east and you'll reach a magic circle and a house, north of the house you'll find a chest with a Hi-Intelligence Ring (84/296). Now enter it for a boss fight. After it's dead grab the chests west and east of you with Sleep OreX2 (85/296) and Jewel (M)X2 (86/296). Now return to the village (where the inn is and stuff). The rocks in the way are gone so you take that as a shortcut. When you reach the soldier, go south from him to find a chest behind the house with Copper Crystal (L)X10 (87/296). Try to leave for a scene and then leave. Head south over the bridge and follow the path west, south and then east to the town of Cairns. West of you is the inn, grab the chest behind it with Normal Crystal (L)X2 (88/296). In the northwest corner of the town is the church, grab the chest north of it with Dodge Ore (89/296). South of the church is the mayor's house, talk to him.

After the scenes leave his house to find a side quest: "A Maid's Request". In the southeast corner of town is a guy with the side quest "A Trio of Portraits". One is behind a tree south of the mayor's house. The next is northwest of the inn. The last is east of the item shop. Leave town and grab 3 Slime Extracts from the Mad Slime enemies, then return to both of them and finish the side quests. Upgrade your stuff and head out. Head east and then south, when you can head west do so to reach Anvil Pass.

Anvil Pass

Note: I encountered a Giant Dragon here that almost one-shot my party sooooo...be ready to run if you see it. He did 1700 to all. It's funny, because the giant enemies in most of Kemco's games aren't that big of a deal, but they seem strong as an ox in this game. Again, it could also be that I didn't build my synchro gauge until later on, but eh.

Follow the path until you see a chest southwest of you, drop down onto the spikes and grab the Copper Crystal (L)X10 (90/296). Go back up the stairs and go north. Eventually, you'll come to a fork, go south and go down the stairs to find a chest with Angry DropX6 (91/296). Go back to the fork and go north. After you cross some bridges and pass by a secret passage, go through it to a chest with a Ruby (92/296). Jump down the ledge (not on the spikes) and grab the chest with a Counter Gem (93/296). Return to the secret passage and go east. When you reach a fork go northeast for a secret passage to a chest with a Hrunting (94/296). Continue along the main path until you reach another fork. Go southwest for a chest with a Zombie Gem (95/296). Return to the fork and go north. Follow this long path until you reach the next area, and you'll get a scene. Follow the path until you go under a waterfall and reach a fork, go south. You'll reach another fork, go south for a chest with a Great Dagger (96/296). Go north for a chest with Barrier StoneX4 (97/296). Return to the fork just east of the waterfall and go north. When you reach a big hole in the ground go northeast. You'll reach another hole, and you'll have stairs southwest and southeast of you. Go southwest and grab the chest with a Small Ring (98/296). Go back to the fork and go southeast and grab the chest north of you with a Great Scythe (99/296), and then go south into the cave. Follow the path back outside and then continue to the next area. Go south down the stairs and then go west at the fork. When you see some stairs with spikes by them, head south to a chest with Gold Crystal (S)X6 (100/296). You should get the achievement for 100 chests now.

Go back to the spikes and go west. When you reach the next fork go north for a chest with a Human Gem (101/296). Now go south to yet another fork, go southeast to find a chest with "Large Nostrum X"X3 (102/296) (yes, there is an X in the item name, annoyingly). Go back to the fork and go southwest. When you reach the wooden bridge go north for a chest with a Sapphire (103/296). Finish crossing the bridge and go east, then go south when you can. Jump off the ledge and go through the secret passage east of you to 2 chests with STR MatterX6 (104/296) and a Luck Ring (105/296). Go back through the passage and jump drop the ledge, then go south of the stairs to find another chest with a Great Sword (106/296). Go up the stairs and return to the bridge, then go all the way east. Keep going until you reach a fork and go north for a chest with a Quartz (107/296), then go south. At the next fork go east to the wall and then north for a chest with VIT MatterX5 (108/296). Go south to find a chest with a Great Chakram (109/296). Now go west past the first fork, and go south to a chest with Silver Crystal (S)X6 (110/296). Go back to the fork, go north, and follow the path to the next area. Grab the chest west of you with a Damage Gem (111/296). Use the magic circle and head south for a boss. It's a pretty easy one. Once it's dead we can leave. Something I should mention is Julia's Treasure Searcher skill, she gets it around level 34, so she should have it before you leave. You can use it to see if you are missing any treasure chests in an area. If you use it now it should say there are no chests (we should have them all). I'll be referring to this from now on so you can know if you've missed a chest. Anyway, exit the pass. Head southwest, follow the remnants of the stone road south and you'll come to Esperance, head inside.

Head into the branch in the southwest part of town and talk to the cleric. You'll lose Julia for now, exit and head to the castle, straight north of the entrance to town. After a bunch of scenes, you'll regain control. Head east to a small room with the equipment/item shops and a chest with an Even Gem (112/296). Return to the previous area and go west to the next area, then head into the first door north of you to find a chest with All MatterX2 (113/296). Exit and go into the next door, head to the northwest corner to find a chest with a Dragon Gem (114/296). Exit and follow the path to some stairs. As you go south you'll see a chest with Gold Crystal (L)X3 (115/296) to the west. Keep going to a fork, and go east for a chest with a Hi-Intelligence Ring (116/296). Continue along the path to some stairs. Go west across the two sets of stairs to find a chest with a Bayonet (117/296). Then go up the next set of stairs and go south, you'll see a chest to the east of you with a Hi-Vitality Ring (118/296). Keep going to some stairs, follow the path to a fork, and go south for a chest with a Tick-Tock Hoop (119/296). Now return to the fork and go east to a new area. Instead of going down the stairs, follow the balcony you're on north, then east, and then take the exit (basically, the opposite of the exit you just came in from). Go south for a chest with a Burst Ring (120/296). Go north through the door to find a small room with a chest that has a Guard Gem (121/296). Backtrack to the big room with the magic circle and go down the stairs for a boss fight. I didn't find it too hard, but when it has about 1/4 HP less it will cast Miracle Shield, which seems to reduce all physical damage to 1. So you'll need to use magic attacks. You may want to take the Berserk Gem off Albert, though I just kept it on and had Bruno and Esther use magic to finish the boss once it used Miracle Shield.

Once it's dead head through the door north of you, then go west to find a small room with a chest that has a Sans Ring (122/296). Return to the big room with the boss and exit south to return to town. Visit the church and then leave the village. Head east to the water and you basically want to follow this coast north, east, south, and then west to the Sanctum. Enter for a scene and then a boss fight. I was able to auto-battle it comfortably. Once that's all done, take the stairs nearby. There's a chest west of you with a Nimble Necktie (123/296), and a chest east of you with Mega NostrumX2 (124/296). Now go down the stairs southwest of where you came in and then go north, you'll find a chest with Power OreX2 (125/296), then go up the stairs near it. Follow the path to a chest with Gold Crystal (S)X12 (126/296). Now backtrack to where you fought the boss and take the west exit. Head south, grabbing the chest with Sleep OreX2 (127/296) on the way. Eventually, you'll reach an exit going east, take it. Go south for a chest with a Buster Sword (128/296), then continue east to the next area. Head south to another area here. Follow the path to a magic circle, and then a boss fight. Afterward, head north. In this area follow the path until you see a chest with Mega EtherX4 (129/296). Go in the door to the north, and follow the path to a chest with a Buster Sickle (130/296). Go back to the previous room to where the chest was and go up the stairs south of it. Follow the path to a fork and go south for a chest with a Horizon Cutlass (131/296). This sword hits in a line, so it's a good thing to put on Albert if you're using the berserk gem, he'll hit multiple enemies this way. Continue to another fork and go south to find a room with a chest that has "Mega Nostrum X"X3 (132/296). Now go north, when you hit the next fork go west for a chest with a Sawtooth Chakram (133/296). Go back to the fork and go north, and when you reach a door, go west instead. Go down the stairs to get a chest with Medium PotionX5 (134/296). Keep going south to another fork, go east. You'll find a chest inside the door with Klepto OreX2 (135/296). Now return to that door and go in it for a scene. Afterward, go north to the next area. Go down the stairs, then go north to a new area. Go up the stairs and then go west of the door for a chest with Silver Crystal (L)X10 (136/296). Now go east from the door and you'll find a room with a chest that has a Booster Gem (137/296). Finally, go back to the door and just northeast of it is a chest with Lazy DropX10 (138/296). Now go in the door for a bunch of scenes (no boss fight, despite the prompt to continue).

Baldor's Hideaway

Now you'll be alone for the moment. Exit this room and go south to a fork, go east for a chest with Power OreX2 (139/296), then go south at the fork to find a party member. Continue to a fork, go north for a room with a chest that has SPD MatterX3 (140/296). Go back to the fork and go east to find a chest with a Sapphire (141/296). Finally, go back to the fork and head west and go down the stairs. You'll come to a fork, go west for a chest with DownerX2 (142/296) and east to get a party member. Go north for a chest with a Thermal Vest (143/296) and then go east to a fork. Go west for a chest with a Buster Sickle (144/296). Now go south at that fork and follow the path to some stairs. In the next area just follow the path, you'll come across a chest with VIT MatterX2 (145/296). Next, you'll meet your last party member. Past that will be a chest with Jewel (M)X2 (146/296). Further still, you'll find a sparkle on a table, investigate it for a scene. Afterward, head south to find a room with an equipment and item shop. Stock up on healing stuff from now on. Exit south. You'll be at a fork, go west for a chest with SPD MatterX4 (147/296). Now go back to the fork and go south. You'll reach another fork, go north for a chest with Silver Crystal (L) X 3 (148/296). Move on to the next fork and go south for a chest with "Mega Nostrum X"X6 (149/296). Now go the other way. After a bit of a walk you'll reach another fork, go south for a chest with an SP Ring (150/296). Move on to the next fork and go straight north to find a chest with Silver Crystal (S)X14 (151/296). Now go the other way to reach another fork, go north for a chest with Lucky StoneX2 (152/296). Head south to a new area. Go east, and at the fork go southeast to find a chest with a Royal Brand (153/296). Go back to the fork and go northwest to find a chest with a First Ring (154/296). Now go southwest at the fork. You'll see a chest just after you go down some stairs with VIT MatterX6 (155/296). Go west to a fork and go north for a chest with an Immobile Ring (156/296). KEEP THIS RING! Unlike most Kemco games, you can't just buy one of these rings from the shop. If you sell this ring there's a chest you might not be able to ever get, and some chests that are much harder to get if you don't have it. It allows you to ignore arrow tiles. Now go south to the next area.

At the fork go south for a chest with a Royal Dagger (157/296). Head to the next fork and go south for a chest with Idle OreX2 (158/296). Now head east. You'll spot a chest with Gauge CoolantX2 (159/296). Continue to a fork and go east for a chest with a Topaz (160/296). On to the next fork, go west for a chest with a Buster Chakram (161/296). Now go east and you'll find the end of this long dungeon. After the scene head south to exit to the world map. If you're curious, the village they mention is the Forbidden Hamlet, which has some minigames we will have to play later for achievements, but for now, there's not a ton we can do with it. If you want to check it out, head east from Baldor's Hideaway until you hit the island with Codeon Fortress. Go north along the coast until you reach Codeon Fortress, then go straight east and you'll find the island with the Forbidden Hamlet. Regardless of whether you go in or not head to that island and then go straight north. You'll run into a bunch of rocks, go west to find a break in them and land on the island. Head east to the Cave of Trials. I got 100000 steps at this point. Also, in the last dungeon, Albert did over 10k damage with an attack on an enemy that was ambushed, which gives an achievement. You should be getting it around now too.

Cave of Trials

Head inside the cave, then go north to a new area. Head east to find a chest with a Cradle Scythe (162/296). Continue north to find a chest with a Switchblade (163/296). Jump down the ledges south of you and head west. Go up the stairs north of you and follow the path north until you see a chest east of you, grab it for an Expunge Ore (164/296). Backtrack to the fork and go east. Follow the path to the next area. Move along until you reach a fork, go north to another one and go west for a chest with a Magical Protector (165/296). Go back to the last fork and go north to the next area. When you go north you'll see 4 caves. Step on the magic circle, then go into each cave. With each one, you'll have a 1v1 fight with a certain character (different for each party member). The fights aren't too hard. However, all of them use a skill called Mind Reducer that gives a big boost to the Synchro gauge. If they go over 50%, there's a chance they will do something random. This will likely be the case for all 4, but the bosses are simple enough this shouldn't be a problem. After you finish the 4th trial you'll get an achievement and a scene.

Get on your ship and head to the Sanctum. Head inside for a scene, then exit. Get back on the ship and head east along the coast, when you see an island east of you land on it. Head into Vorent Fort.

Vorent Fort

Go north to the next area. Go east. You'll reach some stairs and a chest with a Royal Circle (166/296). Go up the stairs and activate the switch within. Go back to the fork at the start of the area and go west. You'll reach a door and stairs, go up the stairs first to find a chest with "Large Nostrum X" X4 (167/296), now go in the door. Go north and grab the chest with "Mega Nostrum X" X2 (168/296). Go up the stairs west of that chest and activate the switch. Go back to the chest and go north. In the room with the two lights, go all the way east and then up the stairs to find a chest with SPD MatterX3 (169/296). Now go back to the torches and go north up the stairs. You'll find a room with a few chests with arrow tiles blocking them. The next part is a puzzle, but thanks to our Immobile Ring, we don't have to care. Put the ring on someone. The west chest has STR MatterX10 (170/296). There's a chest north of the stairs with Gold Crystal (S)X5 (171/296), and one east of that with a Slitted Dress (172/296). Now go up the stairs. Grab the chest west of you, which doesn't appear to be accessible without an Immobile Ring (kind of dumb...). It has Return FeatherX2 (173/296). Return to the torches and go south down the stairs (you'll have a scene on the way). Go south first to find a chest with Gauge CoolantX4 (174/296). Now go west from the stairs. At the fork go northwest for a chest with "Downer X" X4 (175/296). Now go south to another fork and go west for a chest with an Iron Gem (176/296). Now go east. At the next fork go north and use the secret passage to reach a chest with a Brave Scythe (177/296). Now go back to the last fork and go east to find stairs to the next area. Go straight south for a chest with an Ultimate Crystal (S) (178/296). Backtrack to the fork and go west to find a chest with INT MatterX5 (179/296). Go back to that fork and go east. Head west at the next fork, then south at the next for a chest with Large PotionX3 (180/296). Then go west to another fork and go west for a chest with a Falchion (181/296). Go south and head east. You'll reach some stairs to the next area.

Follow the path to a fork and go east, then south at the next for a chest with Lucky StoneX6 (182/296). Go north to a magic circle, then north through the door for some scenes. Once they're done exit the dungeon for a scene. When you're ready for the final battle of the normal ending, head west to the island the Cave of Trials is on and go north from the middle of it. You'll see a small gap that leads to our next objective, an island with a mountain on it, that is Demon Isle.

Demon Isle

Go south for a scene, then west to a chest with Gold Crystal (L)X12 (183/296). Now head south to the next area. Head east across the bridge and then south to a chest with Large PotionX8 (184/296). Go back to the stairs and go west across a bridge and then north to a chest with a Sekhem (185/296), you'll have to face a boss when you open it. Go south and the path will turn east, go south at the blue...carpet. Go all the way west and then north to the chest with VIT MatterX8 (186/296). Now take the south exit to the next area. Head east to find a chest with a Bloody Roar (187/296), it has a boss. This scythe is neat because it can instantly kill enemies. This includes the Giant enemies that usually wreck you. I equipped it on Julia and also gave her the other Berserk Gem, so she could attack often. It helped a lot. Now go south from the entrance. Go east to a fork and go south again to a fork. Go west to a fork and then north. You'll see the wall east of you is cracked, go through it to grab the chest with a Expunge Ore (188/296). Go west and then south to find a chest with a Sapphire (189/296). Go in the door partially behind the eye statue and grab the chest with Return FeatherX5 (190/296). Now go east to the wall and go south to a magic circle. To the west is a boss. Open the chest northwest of you with a Royal Scythe (191/296). Head south to the next area. Go south to a fork and go east. Go all the way south, then west to a chest with Escape FeatherX6 (192/296). Head east to the wall, then south. You'll reach a chest with Silver CrystalX12 (193/296). Now go north and then west, all the way to a chest with a Quartz (194/296). Backtrack to the last fork and go south, then east at the west/east fork to reach the next area.

Follow the path to a fork, go east to a chest with Giga NostrumX4 (195/296). Go east across the bridge then north to a door, go through it for a chest with a boss and a Razor Circle (196/296). Go back through the door then south across the bridge, then go into the door east of you. The chest has a boss and an Excalibur (197/296). Go back through the door, go northeast and follow the thin path behind the...statue or whatever to a chest with Mega PotionX3 (198/296). Go back to the first fork and go west. You'll reach a door, head inside for a chest with Silver Crystal (L)X8 (199/296). Continue until the room opens up and go west and go through the door. In the northwest corner, you'll find a chest with SPD MatterX6 (200/296). Go southeast across the bridge and then east, ignore the first door and go into the second one. Go north across the spikes to find a chest with a Royal Dagger (201/296). Make sure to heal when you go back over them and go back outside. Head south to a west/east fork and go east for a chest with STR MatterX6 (202/296), then go south to the next area. Follow the path all the way east (ignore the stairs for now) to a chest with a Topaz (203/296). Go back to the stairs and go down them, then head west. Go down the first set of stairs you see, then go down the stairs just east of you. Head west to find a chest with Ultimate Crystal (S)X6 (204/296) and then go down the stairs nearby. Go east and go down the stairs you see, then down the next ones and then east to a chest with a Ruby (205/296). Use the stairs just east of you to reach the next area. Go south to the first room you'll see a chest west of you, and a cracked wall you can use to reach it, it has an Expunge Ore (206/296). Now head east, you'll see two paths going south, take the closest first for a chest with a Diamond (207/296). Take the other path to a magic circle, and then a boss. After it's dead, head west to a chest with Barrier StoneX8 (208/296), then take the south exit.

Go west and go down the first flight of stairs, then east to a chest with an Ultimate Crystal (S) (209/296). Now go back to the entrance and go down the stairs south of it, and then go east instead of going down the next set. Go down the stairs here and then West to a chest with "Mega Nostrum X" X3 (210/296). You'll want to use the treasure searcher here. The next area is technically a different place, so use the treasure searcher again and make sure you have everything. From the chest go south to the portal and head into it.

Demon Isle - Depths

Go west for a chest with a STR MatterX6 (211/296). Go south to a fork and go southeast to a chest with a Diamond (212/296). Now go north and then east. At the next fork go east for a chest with Full CureX10 (213/296). Go north from the chest to find a boss. You'll find 3 chests after it's dead, Crystal Mail (214/296), Crystal Robe (215/296) and Crystal DressX2 (216/296). Go south, take the first west path and then north to the next area. Go north onto the bridge, at the fork go east to another fork and go south to a chest with Copper Crystal (L)X10 (217/296). Go back to the fork and go east to the wall and then south to a chest with Jewel (M)X2 (218/296). Go north to the wall and then west. Take the first path north, when you reach the west/east fork go west. When you can go south do so and then east for a chest with a Paralysis Ore (219/296). Go back to the top of the area and go east across the checkered floor to find a chest with a Dragon Katana (220/296), then go west and then north to the next area. Head straight north to a chest with an Ophidian Scythe (221/296). Go south to the first fork above the entrance, go east. At the next one go east and then south to a chest with "Mega Nostrum X" X3 (222/296). Go to the fork and go west, then go north until you see 2 chests and open them for DownerX5 (223/296) and VIT MatterX5 (224/296). Go back to the fork and go all the way west, then north to a chest with Gold Crystal (S)X8 (225/296). Go north to the next area. Go west and then north when you can you'll find a chest with Large ElixirX2 (226/296). Go back to the entrance and go east.

Go up both stairs, then go east and then up the stairs. Go west and then up the stairs, then go west again and up the next 2 sets of stairs. Go west past the first stairs and go down the next set and then down the next set south of you and go west to a chest with Barrier StoneX4 (227/296). Go back to where you were and go east and go down the stairs, then go east and south again to find a chest with an All Matter (228/296). Go back up two sets of stairs and then go west, go up the stairs and then go up the next. Go down the ones west of you, then go up the ones west of you. Go east and up the stairs. Go all the way east to find a chest with Lucky StoneX10 (229/296). Go west to the stairs and go north, then west to a chest with SP MatterX7 (230/296). Go back to the stairs, go down, go east, and then up the stairs and head north to the next area. Go north to a fork and go northeast to a chest with Gauge Coolant X 5 (231/296). Go back to the fork and go northwest to a fork and go north. At the next fork go north again. In this big area go northwest and then north, and grab the chest west of you with a Serpent's Halo (232/296). At the north/east fork go north to grab a chest with a Leviathan Slicer (233/296). Now head east. At the next fork go east to find a chest with HP MatterX10 (234/296). Go back to the fork and go north to the wall, then east to a chest with Gold Crystal (L)X6 (235/296). Now go northwest to the next area. Go north to the magic circle, go east for a chest with SPD MatterX5 (236/296). Go north for a boss. You have the boss and 2 arms. He can regenerate the arms, so don't bother with them. I could actually safely auto-battle it, however, it throws quite a few status effects at you, including increasing your synchro gauge, so you may wish to do things manually to end the fight quicker, so it doesn't take much longer than it needs to. Once you win you'll have a ton of scenes, and then credits, and then more scenes. Afterward, you'll get an achievement.

Make sure to make a clear save, then return to the title and load it. After the scenes enter the portal west of you. Use an Exit Feather to return to the entrance of the dungeon, then leave instead of going in the portal. The final boss is obnoxious, so we're going to be cheesy and power-level so we dumpster the boss. Don't worry, we need to be 999 for other achievements, so the effort will not be wasted. Head to the small island east of Sanctum. Equip the Tick Tock Hoop on Esther and the Encounter Ring on someone and fight battles here. You'll want to turn on Battle Shortcut in the options, as eventually, the fights will end as soon as they start, and you'll still get the experience and everything. It wouldn't be a bad thing to buy the Experience Soul in the shop, though you can skip it if you like. Regardless, as you fight battles you'll get your hands on Leveler B and A rings. Equip these on your characters (aside from the one using the Encounter Ring) as this will boost the experience you get here. With 3 rings on and the Experience Soul from the shop, I was getting 10+ levels in some fights. I would aim for level 800-850. We still have a dungeon to go through and we'll get experience there. With that done go back into Demon Isle and go into the portal to go to Perdition.

Perdition

Head south for a scene. After that check the southeast corner for a chest with a Giga Ether (237/296). Go south to the next area. Head south, near the exit you'll see a chest west of you with Large ElixirX5 (238/296). Now take the south exit. Go all the way east to a chest with a Giga Nostrum (239/296). Now go back to the fork and go south to a chest with STR MatterX10 (240/296). Go back to the fork and go west. Go south when you can and then southeast to the next area. Go south to a fork, then west, you'll see a tiny passage, take it north to an area with a chest that has Copper CrystalX20 (241/296). Go back to the previous area and go south. When you can go west do so and then south to a chest with Ultimate Crystal (L) (242/296). Go back to the entrance and go south to a chest with a Romancing Halo (243/296). Go back to the entrance and go southeast now. When you reach the south/east fork, head east to another fork, go southeast for a chest with Power OreX2 (244/296). Go back to the fork and go north, then go west when you can to the wall. Then go north to a room with a chest that has VIT MatterX10 (245/296). Go back to that fork and go west, skip the first path going south and take the next one to reach the next area. Go down the stairs south of you, then go west and go up the stairs you reach. Go north to a boss fight. The boss isn't hard, but he does have an attack that shrinks everyone, which reduces physical damage and apparently blocks skills too. You can use Full Cures to get rid of it, or just keep fighting and it'll go away in a few turns. Once he's dead grab the chest in the northwest corner with a boss and a Legendary Robe (246/296). You'll probably want to un-equip the Berserk Gems because when the boss gets down to 1/4 health he will use Mirage Shield, which reflects physical attacks. Head east and you'll see a path going north to a room with a chest that has Endurance OreX2 (247/296). Exit and head south down the stairs, then west to a chest with Knowledge OreX2 (248/296). Go down the stairs and then east, and go down those stairs to find a chest with Ultimate Crystal (S)X3 (249/296). Go back up the stairs and head west, go down the stairs. Go all the way west, then south for a chest with Strength OreX2 (250/296). Go east and go down the stairs to the next area.

Head west and go down the stairs, to the west you'll find a chest with INT MatterX10 (251/296). Go back to the entrance and go east to the wall, then follow the wall south until you reach a chest with Klepto OreX2 (251/296). Go up the stairs and head west to the end and go south down 2 sets of stairs. Go west and you'll reach a chest with SPD MatterX10 (253/296). Now go all the way east on this level (AKA without going up or downstairs) and then go down the stairs at the end, then southeast to a chest with a Curved Knife (254/296). Head west through the small path with the trees then down the stairs, and down the next to a chest with Rage OreX2 (255/296). Go up the stairs and go east, go south down the stairs to the next area. Head south and go east. You'll reach two paths going south, take the west one. At the fork go west and then north to a chest with Expunge OreX2 (256/296). Go south to the fork and go east, then southeast. You'll reach a chest with Large PotionX10 (257/296). Go back to that fork and head south. When you reach a southwest/southeast fork go southwest, go south at the next fork and then west at the next to find a chest with a Cradle Scythe (258/296). Now head all the way south until you see an exit, go east instead for a chest with HP MatterX10 (259/296). Now take that south exit to the next area. Follow the path to a house, head inside for a boss. After it's dead grab the chest northwest of you with a boss and Legendary Armor (260/296). It's the same boss as the last chest, you'll want to un-equip those Berserk Gems, though maybe you're so overpowered you don't need to. Go south to another house, go south of that to a fork, go all the way west and then north to a chest with a Transnox Blade (261/296). Go back to the fork and go south. Head west to a house, there is a chest north of it with Barrier StoneX6 (262/296). Continue down the path until you reach a fork, go west for a chest with SP MatterX10 (263/296). Go north past two houses, then west. You'll see a third house with a boss inside. Northwest is a chest with the usual boss and Legendary DressX2 (264/296). Exit the house and go east, then north when you can. Go up the stairs northwest of you for a chest with DownerX12 (265/296). Go back to that fork and go east, then south. You have three choices, take the southwest one to find a chest with Lucky StoneX8 (266/296). That's the last chest in this area. Head back to the fork and take the middle path going south to find a portal, hop in.

Perdition Depths

Head east for a chest with SP MatterX5 (267/296). Go back to the entrance and go south. At the fork go west to a chest with INT MatterX5 (268/296). Now go back to the fork and go south to the next area. Put the Immobile Ring on someone so we can go through this area easier. Go all the way west to a chest with Gauge CoolantX8 (269/296). Go back to the entrance and go all the way east, then south to a chest with Silver Crystal (L)X10 (270/296). Now go all the way south, and then west, you'll reach a chest with a Horizon Cutlass (271/296). Now go west one room and then south to the next area. Head west, when you reach a fork go west again to a room with a chest that has Agility OreX2 (272/296). On the east side of the entrance is a room just like this one with a chest that has Silver Crystal (L)X10 (273/296). Now go south of the entrance to find a chest surrounded by spikes with a Sawtooth Chakram (274/296). Continue south to a fork, go west and follow the path to a door with a boss. He uses a skill that reduces magic damage to one, but Albert and Julia did plenty of damage. Once he's dead grab the chest west of you with Gold Crystal (S)X10 (275/296). Exit this room and go back to the fork and go east to find a room with a chest that has HP MatterX5 (276/296). Go back to the fork and go south to the next area.

Head south and go west for a chest with a Brave Scythe (277/296). Now head back to the entrance, go east over the first bridge, and then south to a chest with a Synchro Ring (278/296). Now head east across the arrow tiles to the wall and then south to a chest with Gold Crystal (L)X10 (279/296). Now go west until you see a path going south, take it to the next area. Go a few steps south and then west, all the way to a chest with an Expunge Ore (280/296). Now go all the way east to find a chest in the northern alcove with Dodge OreX2 (281/296). Go south and down the stairs, then east to more stairs, go down them and then south into a room with a chest that has Lucky StoneX10 (282/296). Exit and go back up the stairs by you, and then go west staying on this level, and eventually, you'll reach a chest with a Topaz (283/296). Go west and down the stairs, then south to a room with a chest that has "Giga Nostrum X" X2 (284/296). Go back up the stairs and go east, skip the first stairs and then take the next stairs down you see. Head southeast first to find a room with a chest that has a Quartz (285/296). Now exit and head southwest to a chest with a Leviathan Slicer (286/296). Now backtrack to the stairs you just skipped and head south to the next area. Go south to a fork, west to the wall, then north for a chest with Return FeatherX2 (287/296). Go back to the fork and go all the way east to the wall, then south. South at the next fork and then west at the one below that to a chest with a Diamond (288/296). Go south to yet another fork and go west. You'll reach a fork, go west for a chest with "Mega Nostrum X" X12 (289/296). Go north to another fork, go north and follow the long path to a chest with Gold Crystal (S)X10 (290/296). Go back to the fork, go west to the wall and then north. When you reach a fork go west to a chest with Mega PotionX4 (291/296). Go back to the fork and go east to another fork, go south for a chest with Ultimate Crystal (S)X3 (292/296). Now go west to the next area.

Go south until you see some stairs, they lead to the boss. For now, let's get the chests. Head west to a chest with SP MatterX12 (293/296). Head east for a chest with Gold Crystal (L)X10 (294/296). Now take those stairs south to the teleporter. Go west through the wall to a chest with "Mega Nostrum X" X6 (295/296). Go a bit north and go through the crack in the wall to a chest with Large ElixirX6 (296/296). That will be your last chest, earning you an achievement.

Return to the main path, it's time for the final boss fight. At your high level, you should be able to dumpster both fights with auto-battle. After the scenes, you'll get an achievement.

I also got the achievement for 1500 kills in this dungeon, along with the 100,000 and 999,000 damage achievements.

Leave the dungeon and head to the town of Motrihl (northeast corner of the map). Talk to the old guy by the weapon cart and spend your cash on his Ultimate Crystals (I spent enough to get 90). You'll get achievements for spending gold.

Now head to the island southwest of Baldor's Hideaway. Fight battles here. Equip any Ultra-Rare Drop Rings you may have gotten from the small island we leveled upon. You want a Thanatos Bringer for Albert and a WHAT WEAPON? with Esther. If you can get an Abbadon Scythe for Julia that's great, but they're obnoxiously rare. I finished up with the 200 transformations here. I would just transform each person and have them attack until I won.

Now go into the menu and select custom, then select Albert's weapon. Use the Ultimate Crystals to upgrade it to 990, then use your other types to max it at +999 (or another Ultimate Crystal if you have no others). You'll get some achievements.

Max Esther's weapon too, and also one for Bruno and Julia (whatever has the most attack). You'll have to go back to Motrihl again to buy more Ultimate Crystals. Once that's done return to the metal island and power level to 999. If you're missing 200 transformations or 2000 skills used, I would do it here. What I did was auto-battle against the metal monsters (un-equip Esther's Tick Tock Hoop and turn off Battle Shortcut). You can only win if they all flee or you critical hit them all, so you will use a ton of skills automatically. I usually get about 100 before everyone runs out of SP. Flee the battle and then turn on battle shortcut, win a fight to level up and replenish SP, then do it again. I got 3000 kills during this.

With all that done, let's finish the quests next. We'll need to go on a round-the-world trip to pick up quests. If you have 5 Quartz head to the Forbidden Hamlet and talk to the lady in the inn, east of the innkeeper. She gives you the Return spell, which you can use on the world map to teleport to a town. It might be worth it to buy the Quartz from the shop if you are only one or two short, it's gonna save you quite a bit of time and walking. Anyway, here we go.

Rhys

There's a guy outside the church that gives "Letter to an Old Friend", accept it.

Ravenna

Talk to Tom, the guy just west of the weapon shop. Guy south of the inn will give "Ingested Poison". He needs a Full-Cure, which you should have plenty of at this point. On the way to the church, you'll find an old lady that gives "Grandma's Cookies". Henry is by the sign for the inn. Return to the grandma to finish it. Return to Rhys to finish that side quest, since we've talked to Tom now.

Grinoch

There's a lady in the southeast part of town that gives "Protect the Herbs". There's a guy by the item shop that gives "Heavenly Fruit". Head to Alsey Woods. It seems you get Orc kills even if you have battle shortcut turned as. As for the fruit, follow the path toward the boss. When you reach that wooden bridge, get on it. At the fork go north to find this on a tree by the chest. You'll have a boss that will pose no problem for you.

Rivorno

Talk to the guy west of the entrance for "Fighting Poison". He needs 10 Full-Cures this time. If you're short the item shop sells them.

Cairns

Talk to the old lady near the entrance for "A Merchant's Dilemma". You need to kill 8 Sand Scorpions. I had a hell of a time getting 8. Took 15 minutes or so. They're around Cairn.

Esperance

Talk to the guy north of the entrance for "Soft-Bodied Fear". There's a guy north of the church with "Battle for Immunity". You can get the Poison Ore from the enemies he mentions, but you should have enough already. The lady by the church gives "Proof of Her Existence". Head to Anvil Pass, go in from the east. Follow the path to the area with the 2 cave entrances, and before you get to them you'll see this boss. For the other quest head to Mohrihl. Go north from the entrance through the place that had rocks when we first came here. From the chest head east and you'll find the item you need.

Ravenna (again)

Talk to Tom to start "A Gift to a Good Friend", head to Rhys and talk to that guy again, then return to Tom. That should be your last side quest, giving you an achievement.

Now it's time for the FUN part. We need to get a 200 hit combo, and this can be most easily done with the KABILLION CHALLENGE. Basically, you have 20 turns to lay the smackdown on Madame Curie. Since a hit chain is interrupted when you're attacked, and most enemies won't live long enough to take 200 hits, Madame is the easiest way to get the achievement. She does not fight back and has infinite HP, so you basically have 20 turns to get 200 hits. The easiest way to do this is two-fold. By now you've noticed burst attacks many times. When you use a skill, sometimes you'll get a chance for a burst, and this will add to your hit count. You should have one Burst+ Ring already, which gives a higher chance for a burst. Buy 3 more and put one on each character. The next part is the part that sucks. Each character has an attack that does a certain number of hits based on certain digits of that character's HP. In other words, if certain HP numbers are a 9, you'll get the maximum number of hits out of these skills. This is why I told you not to use HP/All Matter, because if you do like I did, you get screwed. For Albert, he gets the max number of hits when the last 3 digits of his HP are 999. I had 55004 HP, which needs I would need 99 All Matters, or about 60-70 HP matters. If I didn't use any of the Matters it wouldn't take nearly as much. Anyway, here's the numbers that matter. They're taken from this thread here, which is not my post: https://forum.psnprofiles.com/topic/48389-kabillon-monster-s...

Albert : XX99X
Bruno : XXX99
Julia : XX999
Esther : XXX9X

To be clear, the numbers that are an X don't matter. So for Albert for example, 55995 and 32994 both work, all that matters is the tens and hundreds number is a 9. Bruno's and Esther's are the easiest. For Bruno and Julia, you basically want to use HP matters until the last number is a 9, then use All Matters to up it by 10 until you get the proper number, but you have to be careful not to go over. For example, when I started this, Bruno had 83 as the last two numbers. No matter what combination of All/HP matter I use, I can't hit 99. So I have to use HP Matters to get the last number to be 9, and then use HP matters to get the tens number to be 9 without taking the chance of missing it. Make sure you save before you do this, since HP Matters give between 10-14, so they can screw you up. Here's an example for Bruno :

55783 - HP Matter gives 10
55793 - HP Matter gives 12
55805 - HP Matter gives 10
55815 - HP Matter gives 10
55825 - HP Matter gives 13
55838 - Save, use them until I get 11 HP
55849 - Use 5 All Matter to make it 99

For Esther, all that matters is the tens digit. So she's simple as well.

53738 - HP Matter gives 13
53751 - HP Matter gives 10
53761 - HP Matter gives 12
53773 - HP Matter gives 11
55784 - HP Matter gives 11

You could also use an All Matter on the last step. Use whatever you have the most of.

Albert and Julia are much harder, since the hundreds digit needs to be 9. You should be in a much better position than me for Albert, I had used all my Matter on him so his HP was higher than it should have been. For Julia I was about 260 short, so I just saved, and then spammed HP Matter. If the last digit was 9 anywhere close to XX99X I would just use All Matter to make it XX999. If not I'd reload. I was able to get 250-300 hits with Albert having XX00X (his skill only did one hit) but you also need to do 300 million damage in those 20 turns for another achievement, so I had to get him up too, so I had enough damage. I was able to get 321 million with him at XX39X, so it should be even easier if you get him to XX99X, which will be a lot easier for ya if you didn't spend Matters on his HP like me. The last thing you can do to prepare is equipment. You want to use the best weapon you have for each character upgraded to +999. You want STR on their weapon, unless it has it already, then add SPD. The ore items you've been collecting can be used to do this. For Armor use STR boosting ones, if you don't have one of those use SPD. For Esther use the Zealot Headband if you still have it. Her damage output it the lowest because she only does like 7 hits max, so the more turns your other characters get, the better. Equip the Burst+ Rings on everyone. For gems put the Damage Gem on Julia, the Human Gem on Bruno, and talk to the guy in front of the Inn in the Forgotten Hamlet for a Tri-Burst Gem (reward for getting all the chests) and put it on Albert. Put the Sonic Gem on Esther. Finally, you may want to get up your Synchro gauge, about 40-50% would be ideal. Here's how the fight should go.

Esther goes first thanks to the gem: Transform and use All Parameters up
Julia: Transform and use I don't remember...
Bruno: Transform and use Knife Spread
Albert: DOESN'T Transform, and uses Neo Scramble
Esther: Use Bright Circle
Every other turn they get: Albert: Neo Scramble, Bruno: Knife Spread, Julia: I don't remember..., Esther: Bright Circle

Take every burst chance and pray. My 321 million was with everyone's synchro gauge 20 or less. So with it pretty high, you should have no problems hitting it. My run had ~350 hits, so that should be easy, but it comes down to how many burst chances you get, and who gets it. You'll get a bunch of achievements once you do it.

Your prize is a Maid Ring. Equip metal rings on as many people as you can aside from one, who should get the Maid Ring. Head outside the house and talk to the little kid by a crate. You need to kill 200 monsters for an achievement, but with the maid, ring equipped you only need to kill 20. Still, it's quite difficult. The monsters thrown at you are random, so you may get old bosses or regular enemies, or you may get something like the Tyrano Fish, which did 180-freaking-thousand damage to one character and then used an AoE skill that wiped out the rest of my party without my party ever getting a turn. On the plus side, if you meet the Tyrano Fish or the other strong enemies, they will do enough damage that you get some achievements for damage taken in one hit unless you have them already.

As for actually beating round 200, I have no real tips. I used the same skills I used on Madame Curie. You basically just have to keep playing it until the super-strong enemy (like the Tyrano Fish) shows up early enough that you can win, and then get lucky with spawns after that. I died to the round 201 guy, who wiped me out in one turn. I suppose if you want to do it "legit" you'll need to grind out a shit ton of RSP for All Matter and boost your stats to obnoxious heights. When you finally do get past round 200, you'll get an achievement. I got it 6th try.

Next up you'll want to grab 30 consecutive overkills if you haven't already. An overkill is a hit that occurs on an enemy after they've been taken down to 0 HP. Basically, just find a fight with four enemies, use Julia's I don't remember... skill, and hope for a burst. That should get you enough hits.

You'll likely have 250,000 steps left. I went to Esperance and ran all the way north to the throne room and then back down, all the way outside town to the coast. Then I went north again. Repeat until it pops.
