Ugly Americans Apocalypsegeddon

The Comedy Central show Ugly Americans has been given the rite of passage to a video game. How cool is that?

It's a twin stick shooter with a leveling up system. It's pretty fun if you ask me.

Now we have an Easy 200G on our hands.

1) We beat the game (preferably co-op) using our ability

2) We collect our collectibles

3) Mop up time

This is a pretty straight forward completion, but difficulty will force you to grind levels.

I advise starting the game in co-op. Completion of the game in co-op will also net you an achievement and help against the higher difficulties.

Look at each weapon at the D.O.I. before you start a mission as each weapon has a different trait with different characters.

Once you unlock the babies I advise you always carry one. They can be very helpful.

Projectiles information:

TIP: You need to collect Case Files to unlock the last projectile. However if you have a friend with all of the items unlocked he can drop one in a mission by picking up a new weapon and then you may take his old weapon. Once it's in your hand it is yours and you may quit back to the level select and go for a new weapon.

Case 1: Baseball, Paint Can, Hammer and Snow Globe

Case 2: Boomerang and Propane Tank

Case 3: Dumbbell, Golf Ball and Model Rocket

Case 6: Bowling Ball, Knife, Kerosene Lamp and Chicken

Case 7: Letter Opener, Demon Teeth, Wrench and Spell Book

Case 9: Mating Bone, Desk Lamp, Harpoon and Hair Spray

Case 10: Salt Shaker, Fire Extinguisher, Gas Can and Magic 8-Ball

Liquor Bottle - 5th Case File

Zombie Arms - 6th Case File

Demon Head - 7th Case File

Wedding Cake - 8th Case File

Minus Boss Levels, Every case has a hidden file (it's random if they are on the stage)

Break everything in search for it and keep playing the same level over and over until you find it. It's a floating glowing file. You'll know it when you see it.

Shall we start?

First off go ahead and use your specials on the first playthrough, as many as you can, as there is an achievement related to using it 100 times. If you don’t get it in the first playthrough, we can always replay levels later. I made the mistake of avoiding them first playthrough and it made the game harder. Also if you have a buddy for online Co-op start the game in Co-op to speed up the first playthrough and get the achievement associated with it. Also keep in mind the projectile information on the previous page.

Immediately try to kill 50 enemies without getting hit to unlock the “my new favorite number” achievement. Keep avoiding damage and taking out enemies to build up a 20X multiplier so that you can also pop the “keep these bad boys comin” achievement. If you don’t get it immediately, keep them in mind as you progress. Level 3 is a great place for the latter.

As you play through the game there will be a significant amount of “kill x” achievements. This includes zombie kills (best done in level 2 if you need to return), killing 5,000 demons (best done in level 3 if you need to return) and 1000 manbirds (best done in levels 1 or 6 if you need to return). Don’t truly focus on them until after you beat the game, as you’ll probably unlock a couple. Using your time to grind them out now might make you use more time than necessary.

As you hit level 5 you’ll first be prompted to find your first demon baby for the “demons, the bane of my existence” achievement. Babies will now show up on your map after you collect your first. There are four in total. Alternatively, you can also have a 2nd player carry a baby that you don't have. Have the 2nd player drop that baby and you pick it up and complete the stage. This will unlock that baby for you.

Now get ready for your second playthrough where you will complete it without using any special attacks. That means don’t push your RT. You can also just replay levels and beat them without using RT which would make the game easier due to your level being increased.

Now to finish off the last achievement:
During the first boss fight with Shitkicker, do not hit her (to avoid unwanted enemies) and let Shitkicker down your co-op partner. After she charges twice she will be put into a daze. Revive your partner during the daze and have your partner get downed as soon as he/she can.
