Hints & Tips

- Cooperative:

Fable II supports cooperative multiplayer where two players over Xbox LIVE share the same screen in a single hero's adventure. This being said, the cooperative play isn't as good as it would seem as sharing a screen with someone else means that your partner must stick close to you and isn't allowed to venture off too far, this means exploration is very limited.

It's worth adding that a nice feature of the cooperative is that if you see another hero do a certain thing this could unlock achievements for you. Notice that "Or see another hero do so" at the end of most of the achievements indicates that if you let your cooperative partner do something you can't, you'll both earn the achievement.

- Money

Those who have played previous Fable games will know that you can purchase property and make a steady income overtime. In this case you can actually earn money while you're not playing the game; purchasing businesses or houses in the game will earn you cash while your console is off, so the next time you play the game you will get all the money you have accumulated while you weren't playing. See below for my sneaky tip on getting rich quick.

You can alter the clock on your Xbox 360 by as much as a month (this is the maximum amount of gold you can earn at once) to get a nice payload when you turn it back on. Do this repeatedly for heaps of cash. You must be offline to do this as Xbox LIVE will alter the clock otherwise.

Fable II Walkthrough

The Chicken Kicker

Kick a chicken a good distance, or see one getting kicked.

The Chicken Kicker
5 guidesOnline/OfflineSingle PlayerCooperative

So, as soon as the game begins and you have control of your hero, you will see some random chickens around the town; now guess what you have to do... Yes, you have to kick one. Proceed by approaching a chicken and pressing A to kick it and the achievement is yours.

Note: You may not get this on your first attempt since you have to kick the chicken around 10 feet in length. If the achievement doesn't pop, repeat the process; poor chicken... smile

The Whippersnapper

A child Hero must collect five gold pieces.

The Whippersnapper
2 guidesOnline/OfflineSingle PlayerCooperativeMain Storyline

This achievement is story-related and cannot be missed but I'll explain it anyway. At the start of the game you will be a child and you'll be with your older sister, together you must collect 5 gold pieces to continue in the game, the tasks are as follows:

  1. Collect 5 arrest warrants.
  2. Pose for a photo.
  3. Clear out the warehouse from the bug infestation (with your toy gun).
  4. Collect the drunks booze.
  5. Deliver the love letter.

Once complete, purchase the music box for 5 gold pieces.

The Executioner

Sacrifice ten people in the Temple of Shadows, or see another Hero do so.

The Executioner
4 guidesOnline/OfflineSingle PlayerCooperativeMissableCumulative +

This achievement is missable! Do NOT start the quest "Temple of Light" before you've gotten this.

For this one you have to sacrifice 10 people to the Temple of Shadows. If you are about to start the quest "Temple of Light" and you still don't have this achievement, stop whatever you're doing, as accepting and finishing the quest will disable this achievement (for this save, you can start a new save and do it again, of course). Find the Temple of Shadows located in Rookridge. Outside you should see a man which will give you a quest to see if you're evil enough to join their cause. Your quest: eat 5 crunchy chicks infront of him. Do this, and you will be a proud member of evil.

Walk down the stairs, and you will see a circle mounted on the wall. In front of it you will have a platform where you need to bring the people to. Simply go to any crowded town, like Bowerstone Market, start dancing in the centre of the town and people will start gathering around you. Once a few of them love you, tell them to follow you. When you have 10 or more followers, quick-teleport to the Temple of Shadows (you'll find this under the Rookridge area). Once there, run up to the lever that you'll find to the right of the mounted thingy, and pull it. This will sacrifice everything in the platform behind you, giving you the achievement. Another way you could do this in is to join someone who has this achievement, and see them sacrifice ONE person, unlocking the achievement for yourself.

The New Hero

The terror of Bower Lake must be defeated.

The New Hero

The Hunter

Kill a sweet, innocent, fluffy bunny rabbit (remember, safety's off!)

The Hunter
3 guidesOnline/OfflineSingle PlayerCooperative

Find a Rabbit, bring up the expressions wheel, click the skull to turn safety off and shoot the Rabbit. Rabbits can normally be found mainly in the Bowerstone Lake region and in the fields at Oakfield.

The Pooch Pamperer

Play fetch with your dog, or see another Hero's dog play.

The Pooch Pamperer
1 guideOnline/OfflineSingle PlayerCooperative

First things first, you will need to purchase a rubber ball if you don't already have one, so head over to the General Store on the east side of the Bowerstone Market bridge and purchase one (purchase a spade for the next achievement as well). Once you have your rubber ball, bring up the expressions wheel, click on Dog and then fetch to get this achievement.

The Archaeologist

Dig up something the dog has discovered, or see another Hero do so.

The Archaeologist
2 guidesOnline/OfflineSingle PlayerCooperative

You need to purchase a spade from the General Store on the east side of Bowerstone bridge. Once you have purchased one, your dog will bark and it will say "dig spot" above his head. Follow him and let him guide you to the spot. Once there, stand next to him and press down on your D-Pad.

The Dog Trainer

Teach your dog a trick, or see another Hero's dog learn one.

The Dog Trainer
2 guidesOnline/OfflineSingle PlayerCooperative

Go to the Book store in Bowerstone Market and purchase one of the many dog tricks, and to use it, press Start and go to items, then books/documents and use the trick you purchased on your dog.

The Persuader

Convince a villager to give you a present, or see another Hero do so.

The Persuader
3 guidesOnline/OfflineSingle PlayerCooperative

This is a simple achievement to get: in your game, villagers will want to give you gifts. A symbol will appear above their heads when they do; if its greyed out you will need to socialise with them for it to be coloured. Once it's coloured you can press A to receive your gift.

The Show-off

Impress a villager with a perfect expression, or see another Hero do so.

The Show-off
3 guidesOnline/OfflineSingle PlayerCooperative

Find a villager, target them and press LT then Y to find out their likes. If they like dancing bring up the expressions wheel and select fun, then dance, but instead of just pressing it, hold the button down, then release it. When the scale is on green, release the button.

The Duellist

String together a full-speed chain attack, or see another Hero do so.

The Duellist
9 guidesOnline/OfflineSingle PlayerCooperative

This achievement can be quite tricky; you don't have to attack anyone to get it, all you have to do is string together a chain of attacks. First of all, find an open area where there's no one around, any weapon can be used for this but I personally recommend a Hammer or Mace. Once you're all set, start by pressing X to attack. Try to leave half a second break, then press X to attack again. Repeat the process and eventually you will see a blue 'Swish' coming from your weapon; this means you're doing it right. Once you see this blue 'Swish', speed up by pressing X at a normal pace (faster). It takes between 10-15 swings of the weapon before the achievement pops (this may take a few attempts). I'll link a video below to show you in detail:

Note: This achievement can be done with any weapon.

The Black Knight

Shoot the weapons from a hollow man's hands, blow off his head and then kill him for good!

The Black Knight
2 guidesOnline/OfflineSingle PlayerCooperativeShop

First of all, upgrade your Dexterous Styles level to 4 to unlock the Sub Targeting skill. Step two is to find a Hollow man. Once you've found one and want to make things easier, use a Time Control spell to slow down time, giving you a great advantage. Then press and hold Y to lock onto the Hollow man and press LT to select the body parts. Start off by shooting his weapons that they hold in each hand. Once you've shot the weapons, mark their head and shoot them there. If, by any chance, that doesn't kill him, finish them off in any way you want.

The Sharpshooter

Hit three enemies with one shot, or see another Hero do so.

The Sharpshooter
11 guidesOnline/OfflineSingle PlayerCooperative

First of all, get yourself a Blunderbuss. I'd recommend either getting a Master Blunderbuss or the legendary "The Enforcer". Now repeat the same procedure you've executed many times before; make people follow you. Get yourself around 10 villagers from Bowerstone Town Square, for instance (seriously, this town has everything). Once you have those people, turn your safety off and run away from them. They'll follow you, so turn around and fire your Blunderbuss at them. You should kill at least 4 of them, unlocking the achievement. If it doesn't work, try upgrading your Dexterous Styles a couple of levels until you can zoom in your shots. Try again, and it should work.

The Romantic

Take a villager on a perfect date, or tag along to one. Location and expressions are all-important.

The Romantic
5 guidesOnline/OfflineSingle PlayerCooperative

This one can prove to be tricky. Walk up to a villager and target them with LT, then press Y to see which gifts, locations and expressions they prefer. Try to adapt to those as much as you can. If someone's favourite place is Fairfax Gardens, for instance, take them there and then either give them the gift they love, or perform the expression they love to see. To be on the safe side, just do both. Gift them and do the expression.

The Philanthropist

Send a gift to an Xbox LIVE friend, or watch another Hero send one.

The Philanthropist
4 guidesOnline Game ModeSingle PlayerCooperativeCommunity

This achievement is for sending a gift to another player over Xbox LIVE (this doesn't have to be a friend). First things first, we'll need to change some settings so we can see everyone's orb online. Press Start > Options > Game > Online Orbs > Everyone.

Now we're all set and we can see everyone's orb. Since this game isn't new and it's aging, I'm quite sure there will be players online, so the best place to find another player (orb) is Bowerstone Market. Once there, locate and approach one of the orbs then continue by pressing LT. You will get options on what to do, so "Press ( A ) to interact" and make your way down to "Gift". Send them anything from one gold to a toy gun; anything you have and don't want. Once the transaction is complete, achievement unlocked. clap

The Artisan

Succeed at one job to Level 5, or see another Hero do so.

The Artisan
4 guidesOnline/OfflineSingle PlayerCooperativeLevel

There are many jobs to be taken in Albion. For this achievement you have to go from level 0 to level 5 in the profession of your choice. A couple of jobs that will be available from time to time are jobs such as bartender, blacksmith and woodcutter. For this achievement I recommend you do the blacksmith job. It's all about timing and building up that combo. You level up once you've reached a certain amount of gold gained from your work. Try building up the combo because when you do, your multiplier goes higher as well, resulting in leveling up faster. Be aware though as jobs are not available at all times. Go to Quests/Maps > Jobs to see where and what's available at the time.

The Workhorse

A Hero must achieve a high-enough chain while performing a job.

The Workhorse
2 guidesOnline/OfflineSingle PlayerCooperative

While going for the above achievement, this should come naturally. If not, the requirement for this is that you have to get your gold multiplier up to at least 10. This means no mistakes until the achievement pops which is really easy in my opinion. No-one should have any difficulties with this one.

The Hero of Many Names

Change your Hero's title, or see another Hero change theirs.

The Hero of Many Names
3 guidesOnline/OfflineSingle PlayerCooperative

Seek out the Town criers in the major towns, approach them and then either purchase one or, if you've met the requirements, get one for free.

The Teaser

Make bandits respond to expressions with fear, anger, mirth, and confusion... during combat!

The Teaser
8 guidesOnline/OfflineSingle PlayerCooperative

I'm leaving this to the guys over at RoosterTeeth. Basically what needs to be done is to use one expression of each category. The categories are the following: Fun, Flirt, Rude, and Scary. The order shouldn't matter, as long as he gets to taste 'em all!

The Menace To Society

Commit an act of public indecency, or see another Hero commit one.

The Menace To Society
2 guidesOnline/OfflineSingle PlayerCooperative

First, have the Vulgar Thrust expression unlocked. Chances are big that you already have it. If not, purchase this from the bookstore in Bowerstore. The book goes by the name of "The Perv's Handbook". Now, from the menu, go to Clothing -> Outfits -> No Clothes (Yes, I'm being serious, the things we do for achievements...) Now get yourself to a nice place like Bowerstone Market and then start terrorizing villagers with the Vulgar Thrust expression. Eventually someone will be offended and report you. You'll be getting a 10 gold fine for Public Indecency, but also a new achievement!

The Party Animal

Get five villagers drunk in under three minutes, or see another Hero do so.

The Party Animal
3 guidesOnline/OfflineSingle PlayerCooperativeTime/Date

If you don't have 5 drinks of alcohol (wine or beer, for instance) in your inventory already, get yourself to a pub and purchase at least 5 alcoholic drinks. After that, get 5 people to like you by dancing in the middle of the square in Bowerstore Market, for instance, then proceed to make them follow you. Once you have 5 followers, approach each of them, stand face to face with them, press LT and then press RB to bring up the expression wheel. Select Social -> Gift -> Food and then give the person the alcohol. You now have 3 minutes to do the exact same thing with the other 4 villagers. Because these people are not used to alcohol, all it takes is one glass of whatever you're treating them to make them drunk. Get going, you party animal!

The Pied Piper

Start a party where at least five villagers are dancing, or see another Hero do so.

The Pied Piper
3 guidesOnline/OfflineSingle PlayerCooperative

Purchase a lute from any general store. Once you've acquired the lute, go to a populated area once again (try your luck at Bowerstone Market, near the Town Square.) Pull out your lute and keep playing. Slowly but surely you'll have people gather around you. Some may dislike you at first, but after some time they'll dance like there is no tomorrow! Once you have 5 or more villagers dancing simultaneously, the achievement will pop.

The Swinger

Take part in a debauched bedroom party with several participants.

The Swinger
4 guidesOnline/OfflineSingle PlayerCooperative

Find your way to Bloodstone and seek out two hookers. Impress them with expressions and finally use the "Come Back to My Place" expression. Once you've done this to two hookers, find a bed in any of the houses and make it happen!

The Paragon

Reach 100% good or evil, or see another Hero do so.

The Paragon
3 guidesOnline/OfflineSingle PlayerCooperativeCumulative +

Either be super-good, or super-bad. It's easiest is to be bad because then you just need to turn your safety off and go crazy on the civilians. If you want to choose the good path, then keep donating to the Temple of Light and to beggars. It seems that donating to beggars earns you more good points. Try mixing the two of them.

The Extremist

Reach 100% purity or corruption, or see another Hero do so.

The Extremist
6 guidesOnline/OfflineSingle PlayerCooperativeCumulative +

An easy way of doing this is to buy a house and immediately rent it out. Now adjust the rental price to, depending on if you want to be good or bad, either -60% for purity or +100% for corruption. When this is done, save the game and exit to the Dashboard. Sign out of your account and change the date on your console to several years into the future (2015 should be plenty). Now fire up your game and the achievement will unlock when you've entered the world of Albion. This is also a great way of making quick money.

The Celebrity

Reach 50,000 renown, or see another Hero do so.

The Celebrity
1 guideOnline/OfflineSingle PlayerCooperativeCumulative +

This may sound really hard because in the beginning of the game you barely get any, but as you proceed, Reknown will come at greater scales. Think of this achievement as the description said: "Complete a lot of side-quests". By doing both main and side-quests you're almost guaranteed to get this achievement. You can also show off your achievements trophies to get smaller amounts of Reknown. This should unlock naturally as long as you complete a lot of quests. The later quests, both main and side quests, will net you thousands of Reknown. Just for beating the game you're given 10,000 Reknown. You can see where I'm going with this.

The Property Magnate

A property must be sold for twice the price it was bought for.

The Property Magnate
10 guidesOnline/OfflineSingle PlayerCooperativeShop

Start off by finding a cheap house that has a low decoration cost. You'll find many of them in... you guessed it, Bowerstone! Buy that house and redecorate it with 5 star pieces of furniture only. Once you've done that, sell your house and if you're lucky enough, the achievement should pop. As to where to get furniture, there is a store in the town that you're located in, Bowerstone, but there should be another one in Bloodstone. If you need more furniture from the store but they're all out, sleep in a bed (a week should be plenty) and return to the store. It's like you were never there! Re-buy everything and try your luck again.

The Ruler of Albion

Amass a 2.5 million gold real estate empire, or be there when another Hero does.

The Ruler of Albion
10 guidesOnline/OfflineSingle PlayerCooperativeCumulative +

In order to unlock this you must earn 2.5 million gold's worth of Real Estate. To achieve this you will have to purchase pretty much all the houses, stalls, shops and pubs available. If the total sum is not above 2.5m by the time you've purchased all of these, then see if you can replace furniture in the houses with some of your own. Furniture you've received as quest rewards, as gifts from NPCs or even stolen furniture will do just fine (you pesky thief). Or, if you want this achievement without having to spend a lot of cash and unlocking it in an instant, find someone with Colosseum Model, or someone who can access the Gargoyle Trove. Have them take you there, either by entering - spoiler inbound - the "whirlpool" looking thing underneath the bridge in Bowerstone Market, or by teleporting to the Colosseum with the Colosseum Model (that's an item) and the achievement will unlock straight away for you. It will NOT work if you use the methods in your own game. It has to go through someone else's game.

The Gambler

A Hero must win 500 gold at a pub game in one sitting, having tried each game type at least once.

The Gambler
7 guidesOnline/OfflineSingle PlayerCooperative

This is one of the funnier achievements in Fable II. Could it be because I'm a real-life gambler? You'll never find out. Anyhow, let's move on to what matters! For this you have to win 500 gold in one sitting after having tried all of the available pub-games in the game. These fun, little mini-games can be found in the following towns:

- Keystone can be found in "Cow and Corset", located in Bowerstone Market.
- Bloodstone can be found in, you guessed it, Bloodstone.
- Fortune's Tower you'll find in the Westcliff Tavern, as well as in Knothole Island.
- Spinnerbox appears in the Sandgoose Tavern in Oakfield, Lucky Heather Tavern in Rookridge, even the travelling game masters in Brightwood will let you play Spinnerbox, if you didn't piss them off, or even kill them, that is.

Once you've played them all (NOTE: you only need to play each mini-game ONCE, no need to visit each location) it is time to head over to Bloodstone and prepare to unlock your achievement. (NOTE: the following guide comes with a risk, and because it's luck-based, there's nothing me or you can do about it. If you would lose money, the Game master will try to kill you unless you pay him the debt. If you don't want to pay him, simply teleport out of there, sleep in a bed for a couple of days, and it should be all good).

Talk to the Game master to start the game and begin by placing your arch on number 14. After that this is done, move on to the inner betting. Now press A and a note will pop up telling you that you don't have enough chips. The game asks you if you want to borrow chips, press yes. Now, instead of pressing "Quick Chips", go down one option, to "Get Chips", and take the maximum, which is 40,000. Now, with all those chips, the fun part starts. I want you to place a bet on the following tiles: Number 3, 4, 5, 16, 17 18. Once you've placed your final bet on number 18, from where you are, go left and place a bet on each of the tiles, this covers up the following: the three dices with fives, fours, threes and twos, as well as the tile that says "Trips". Once you've done this, press X to roll the dice; tap A if you want to speed up the process. If the dice total sum landed on anything other than what you've chosen, you're doing well.

Repeat this for a couple of minutes. After every roll, hold in RT and see how much you've got on your Total Winnings. (NOTE: Do NOT mix this up with Points Earned, as they're two completely different things!) Sometimes the final sum ends up being one of the tiles you chose; this is where you fall hard. If you find your score to be minus something, quit out, and try again. Quickly though, because the Game master can be pissed and if you aren't fast enough, he won't let you play, instead he'll try to kill you.

There is one a small chance that the total sum with be 3, 4, 5, 16, 17, 18, or trice dice, so don't worry. Keep going until you have 600 in Total Winnings; yes, you read correctly. Somehow the game didn't give me the achievement once I passed 500. I tried multiple times and nothing. Once I reached 600, I quit out and the achievement popped. If you fail and end up with a negative score, don't worry, I've reached above 1,000 in total winnings in minutes. It's really fast and fun, too. If you want, you can do this first, then play all the other pub-games. The achievement will unlock once you've played your final and unique pub-game.

The Double Threat

Get a co-op combat bonus.

The Double Threat
3 guidesOnline/OfflineCooperative

For this one you have to get a co-op combat bonus. It may sound hard and complicated, but it's actually very simple. Either join somebody's game and swing your swords at the same time, or simply plug in two controllers and swing the sword on both controllers at the same time, or try charging up spells, which may be a little easier. When the spell is maxed out, let go of the buttons at the same time, and the achievement should unlock.

The Companions

Perform a perfect co-op expression.

The Companions
3 guidesOnline/OfflineCooperative

Very similar to the one above. Either join someone's game, and try to time the expressions, or use two controllers for a much easier job. Pull up the expression wheel, do an extended expression on both the controllers, when it's full, let go simultaneously, resulting in this achievement.

The Cliff Diver

Cliff dive 500 feet, or see another Hero do so.

The Cliff Diver

In the quest "Treasure Island of Doom" you are asked to go into The Sinkhole. Follow the path, and eventually you'll come to an edge, where the only way is down. Dive with the A button to unlock this achievement.

The Spouse

Marry a villager, or attend the wedding of another Hero.

The Spouse
4 guidesOnline/OfflineSingle PlayerCooperative

Find someone from the opposite sex and get them to like you (either use expressions or give them gifts). Once they're satisfied with you, buy a ring from any jeweller, the one in Bowerstone Market for instance, and give it to them. Then find a fancy (or ugly) house and set it as a marital house. You are now officially married! Oh yeah, you get this achievement as well!

The Bigamist

Get married a second time, whilst already married, or attend the second wedding of another Hero.

The Bigamist
2 guidesOnline/OfflineSingle PlayerCooperative

Follow the same steps you did for the above achievement, preferably in another town, so that your first spouse won't go like: "How could you!" Once you've gotten married twice, while still being married to your first spouse, the achievement unlocks. Lionhead really wants you to go all nuts, eh?

The Parent

Have a child, or be there for the birth of another Hero's child.

The Parent
2 guidesOnline/OfflineSingle PlayerCooperative

Once you're married, use the "Come back to my place" expression on your spouse to make them follow you to a bed. Once there, have unprotected sex with them and this should unlock once all the noise is over. Note that this may take a couple of times until it unlocks (the female might not be "in the desired month"). If you are missing this expression, it can be purchased from the Bowerstone Bookstore.

The Illustrated Hero

Tattoo every part of your Hero's body, or see another Hero do so.

Head over to the Gypsy Camp and get yourself two tattoos. One for the face, and the other for the body. Once you've applied your second tattoo, the achievement will unlock. If you don't want to keep your tattoos afterwards, you can have them removed, for a small fee.

The Rogue

Steal something undetected from a building while there are people nearby, or see another Hero do so.

The Rogue
2 guidesOnline/OfflineSingle PlayerCooperative

Steal something without being detected while someone else is around. It's not as hard as it sounds: simply walk into a bar, head upstairs and raid their drawers or cupboards. The achievement should unlock in an instant.

The Archmage

A Hero must kill five human enemies with one spell.

The Archmage
8 guidesOnline/OfflineSingle PlayerCooperative

First, get your Inferno level to 5. Getting your Time Control to level 4 is also recommended. When this is done, find a group of bandits; there has to be at least 5 of them. Have them gather around you, fire up your Time Control spell to make time pass in slow-mo (if only this could be done IRL!) and then fire up your level 5 Inferno, frying the flesh and bones of the bandits and granting you this achievement. A great place to find many bandits is in the later waves of the Colosseum.

The Goth

A Hero must dye their hair black, and wear a black outfit and black makeup.

The Goth

One of these achievements will be granted to you, depending on which ending you choose. I would strongly recommend that you save beforehand, preferably at the part when you stand in the Spire, with two torches on the right side, and two on the left and you see a white stripe going vertically in front of you. Make sure to save BEFORE going up the stairs. Once one of these achievements unlocks, immediately go to the Xbox Dashboard, fire up the game and choose a different ending. Do this with all three endings.

- The first card will revive everyone who died in the making of the Spire, but your dog and family will remain dead.
- The second card brings back your family and dog, but comes at the cost of every innocent soul who died in the making of the Spire.
- The third card won't bring anyone back to life, but it will however, grant you a lot of gold. We're talking about 1 million gold coins.

Collectibles

Fable II has three sets of collectibles. Those are Keys, Hero Dolls and Gargoyles.

The Dollcatcher

Collect all the Hero dolls, or see another Hero collect them.

The Dollcatcher
17 guidesOnline/OfflineSingle PlayerCooperativeCollectableViralExternal Content

In total there are six Hero Dolls that you must collect, only one will appear in your game, so to get this achievement you must either trade with another player over Xbox LIVE or set up a boosting session here on TrueAchievements.

To get the hero doll from your game you must head to Westcliff and locate the Shooting Range. Once there, play the game. You get points for hitting the Bandit targets without hitting innocent targets. In order to obtain your Doll you must score a total of between 150 and 175 points, this will net you 2nd prize.

Now the doll you receive will be completely random, so whatever you get on your first try, scoring the same again will only get you a duplicate of the doll you already have. I personally recommend obtaining more than one doll at the shooting range and trading with someone over Xbox LIVE.

Another thing you could do is find someone who has all the dolls, join their game and tell them to buy anything from the store. Somehow this will trigger the achievement to unlock for you.

List of Hero Dolls

  • Garth Doll
  • Hammer Doll
  • Hero Doll
  • Theresa Doll
  • Reaver Doll
  • Lucien Doll

The Hoarder

Collect every silver key, or see another Hero do so.

An alternative way of getting this is to join someone who has it. Together, go to the Colosseum and WIN any of the prizes; that is third, second or first. The achievement will unlock once the announcer says: "Third prize!" NOTE: You must've started both of the DLC's!

The Gargoyle

Find the gargoyles' legendary treasure.

The Gargoyle

Here's another great video guide by ch0colatemilk again; credit to him. This video will show you where to find all 50 Gargoyles. Simply shoot them down and they will lead you to the ultimate treasure!

Or you could, once again, join someone's game. That person needs this achievement and the Gargoyle Trove accessible. Either teleport there or enter the whirlpool underneath the Bowerstone Bridge and the achievement will unlock for you.

Congratulations! You've completed Fable II and now have 1,000G! Feel like you want to take on the DLC's? Keep on reading, then!

NOTE: Both DLC packs are included with the Game of the Year Edition (GOTY), otherwise they can be purchased via the Xbox LIVE Marketplace.

Knothole Island

The Meteorologist

Bring all of Knothole Island’s weather problems under control, or help another Hero to do so.

The Meteorologist
2 guidesOnline/OfflineSingle PlayerCooperativeMain Storyline

This DLC treats us to three main story quests (or one quest divided into three parts). These are the Sun Shrine, the Storm Shrine and the Ice Shrine. I've also noticed that you have to leave the area each time you complete one of the quests for the game to update itself. Simply use your fast-travel to get away, and then come back to continue this short, but sweet DLC. Upon completing all three quests, you'll have restored the weather back to Knothole Island and also secured 50 Gamerscore by unlocking this achievement.

The Bibliophile

Find all the books detailing the history of Knothole Island, or help another Hero to do so.

The Bibliophile
3 guidesOnline/OfflineSingle PlayerCooperativeCollectable

During these quests you may stumble upon rare books (10 in total) about a tribe who migrated to Knothole Island. It also tells a tyranny about how chieftains started to impose on the people. It is quite an interesting story, so feel free to read them as it's not really long. Let's see if I can assist you in finding these books now, shall we?

NOTE: If you've missed any book(s) towards the Bibliophile achievement, do not worry as all shrines will become accessible after you've completed these quests.

Book 1 (Volume I): Given to you by Gordon, the man that brings you to Knothole Island. Talk to him and you should receive the first book.

Book 2 (Volume II): Once you're inside the Ice Shrine you will find yourself in the part where you need to hit 4 orbs to stop the lighting. Once here, check to your right and you will see some icicles that can be destroyed. Once you've destroyed these, you are able to vault down. Climb the ladder, destroy some more ice and you should find your second book.

Book 3 (Volume III): When you've made it to the red floor chamber inside the Sun Shrine, you will see three large pieces of meat hanging from the ceiling in the center of the room. To the left of that you will see a blue button that you need to stand on to open the door. Face the button and to the right of it you will see a wall with cracks. Destroy this and the book will be clearly visible to you.

Book 4 (Volume IV): Upon entering the Storm Shrine and the foggy part in the beginning, check your right side until you see it behind some obstacles. If you've made it to the stairs going up, you've gone too far. Simply turn around and you will see it. Your dog should point it out to you, so it's really hard to miss it.

Book 5 (Volume V): When you enter Knothole Island, go to the ramp that takes you to the Ice Shrine and drop down the edge there (make sure that either the Sun or Storm totem are activated, otherwise you won't be able to jump down.) Continue along the path to your left and you will come to a fork road. It really doesn't matter which path you take as both of them will lead you to the book, but for the guides sake take the road to the right. You will be following it until you see a torch. Once you see it, head north-east into the forest and you will find it near a cliff. If you get attacked by Hobbes in this area, then you know you're in the right place.

Book 6 (Volume VI): Left of The Box of Secrets store you will find the Warriors Rest House. Underneath this building is your 6th book (make sure the Sun Totem is activated). If you are still have trouble finding, go to The Box of Secrets store and slowly walk left. On your way you will see a set of stairs going down. Go down these stairs and the book will shine brightly underneath a building.

Book 7 (Volume VII): Next to the west wall of the Sun Shrine entrance. If you're worried you'll miss it, just run around the entire entrance (shouldn't take more than a couple of seconds) and you will see it.

Book 8 (Volume VIII): When you arrive in town you want to head left and into the graveyard. You should see a small building made out of gravestone. Go near it and from there, head west. Behind some rocks and in the middle of some trees you will find your 8th book.

Book 9 (Volume IX): When you exit the Sun Temple, follow the path (fighting off some creatures). Move slowly and have your dog by your side. Your dog will eventually find a dig spot. Follow your dog there, and from where it starts digging, turn around and book #9 will be behind some rocks.

Book 10 (Volume X): Exit the Storm Temple and immediately head right. Search this small area to find your final book, and to unlock your achievement.

The Collector

Acquire all the mystery items in The Box of Secrets shop, or see another Hero do so.

The Collector
7 guidesOnline/OfflineSingle PlayerCooperativeCollectable

For this one you have to gather different stuff, ranging from food to clothes. Keep in mind that if you like to look around for chests and treasure, or usually complete side-quests in Albion, then you may already have some or all of these things in your inventory so double-check before you start looking for these. It also works if someone would give the things needed to you. If you can't find the item you're looking for, then find a bed and sleep for a week and then return to the shop/store/trader. If you are worried that after sleeping for a week that the trader will be long gone, you can do the nasty trick to make them follow and fall in love with you, share your bed with them (for a week straight, seems legit) and wake up to have a fully stocked trader. Also note that if you are going to gather these by yourself then it's important that you complete all the main quests for this DLC before doing so, otherwise not all things will be available for collection. I will give you a list of what you need and where they are most likely to be found:

- x2 Crucible Peanuts: Biggest chance to be found at the Crucible Food Trader.
- x3 Crunchy Chick: Try the food-traders in Bloodstone. There is also a chance that the traders in Westcliff will sell you some, too.
- x2 Puny Carrot: Try the food stall in Bowerstone Old Town (If they're out of stock, sleep for a week, then return).
- x2 Table Wine: Found at any bar. The bar "Cow & Corset" in Bowerstone has a tendency to have this in stock most of the time.
- Pretty Necklace: Gift Traders will most likely have these in stock.
- Love Ring: Once again, try the Gift Traders. The Gift Traders can be found in Westcliff, Bloodstone, outside Fairfax Gardens in Bowerstone and wandering the paths to different regions. The Jeweller in Bowerstone Market should also be able to sell you some.
- Diamond: Same thing here; try the Gift Traders or the Jeweller.
- Marriage and How To Survive It: The bookstore in Bowerstone Market should have some in store.
- Murgo's Big Book of Trading: Same thing as above, try the bookstore in Bowerstone Market.
- Pure Experience Extract: Check in with every Potion Trader you come across. One that most likely has some is the Potion Trader outside Fairfax Gardens.
- Monk Robe: Oakfield is your place for this. Outside The Sandgoose there will be a trader what would love to sell you some!
- x2 Lute: Any General store will have these in stock. If not, sleep on a bed for a week and return to the store.
- Regal Purple Dye: Travellers wandering through cities will carry these. Pay them a visit, and if not, then you need to locate the next one. Clothing Traders might also sell these.

Now that you've bought all of these, you need take them to Knothole Island, inside The Box of Secrets shop. Return each item to its desired place and you will be granted a gift for every item you return. Walk around in the store to see where each item needs to go. When you hand in the last item, you will unlock the achievement.

Congratulations! You've now completed the "Knothole Island" DLC!

See the Future

The Visionary

Take a look into the future, or see another Hero do so.

The Visionary
2 guidesOnline/OfflineSingle PlayerCooperativeMain Storyline

Let's start off with the achievement that you cannot really miss. After you've completed the main story line for the original game, complete the DLC main quests to unlock this.

At one point in the game, you will be given a Cursed skull. After that, your quests will be accessible through this skull. When playing the second quest that Murgo gives you, you will get your hands on three different sets of costumes. These are the costumes of a Balverine, a Hobbe and a Hollow Man. Hold tight to these costumes and once you're done with your quest, go to a populated area (like Bowerstone Market) and do the following:

The Howler

Scare five people while dressed as a balverine, or see another Hero do so.

The Howler
5 guidesOnline/OfflineSingle PlayerCooperativeCumulative +

While dressed as a Balverine, scare five people. Put on your Balverine costume and cast a couple of fire spells to scare five people and you should earn the achievement.

The Ghastly Jester

Make five people laugh while dressed as a hobbe, or see another Hero do so.

The Ghastly Jester
1 guideOnline/OfflineSingle PlayerCooperativeCumulative +

Now put on your Hobbe costume and make five people laugh. Easily done by starting to play on your lute until you have a crowd of at least 5 people around you. Once you have that, extend an expression like the Sock Puppet (go to your expression wheel, go to Fun and hold in the Sock Puppet button until the bar is green. Release it once the dot going left to right is within the green area). This should make the people laugh, and you should too, because you've earned this achievement!

The Repugnant

Disgust five people while dressed as a hollow man, or see another Hero do so.

The Repugnant
4 guidesOnline/OfflineSingle PlayerCooperativeCumulative +

Switch to your final costume which should be the Hollow Man costume and this time you have to disgust five people. Once again, you will have to gather a crowd of five but this time use an expression like Vulgar Thrust to disgust five people, granting you this achievement.

The Paramour

Make love 25 times, or see another Hero do so.

The Paramour
6 guidesOnline/OfflineSingle PlayerCooperativeCumulative +

Have sex 25 times to unlock this. The easiest way is to find someone with this achievement, join their game, see them have sex once (you perv) and the achievement is yours. If you can't find anyone or if you want to do it yourself, marry someone and have sex as much as you can. To have it as much as possible without your spouse turning you down, it's best to marry a hooker. Remember, you have to marry them. Having sex with a hooker just like that won't count towards this achievement! Once you've had it 25 times, the achievement should unlock.

The Concierge

Open all the Demon Doors in Albion, or see another Hero do so.

Once again, a video guide, as it's easiest that way. It's split into two videos. Credit goes to tocgow for both of these videos.

The Fowl Player

Dress as a chicken and kick five chickens during the Colosseum battles, or see another Hero do so.

The Fowl Player
14 guidesOnline/OfflineSingle PlayerCooperativeCumulative +ViralExternal Content

Next up we have a pretty complicated achievement. This one is for kicking five chickens in the Colosseum while dressed as one or watching someone else do it. Problem with this is that you can't obtain the chicken suit yourself because the servers for the mini-game where you were given the chicken suit has gone down, so the only way you're getting this achievement is if someone else with it is helping you. Either they can give/borrow you the suit, kick 5 chickens, then return it, OR join their game, and see them kick ONE chicken and the achievement will be yours!

It has also been proven that if you got the chicken suit from the Fable II mini-game available through the website and somehow lost it (gave it away, lost it anyhow), then the clothing trader outside The Sandgoose in Oakfield will sell you another set! Note that if you're doing this by yourself, then the five chickens do not have to be kicked during a single game of the Colosseum, but will unlock when you've kicked five in total, across all of your rounds. Once you've done this, you have proudly unlocked this achievement.

The Nutcracker

Score 25 groin shots, or see another Hero do so.

The Nutcracker
9 guidesOnline/OfflineSingle PlayerCooperativeCumulative +Shop

For the next one, you literally have to shoot 25 enemies in the groin, which is easier than it sounds. First you have to upgrade your Dexterous Styles to level 4 to be able to aim at specific body parts (also known as Sub Targeting). Next, find an enemy and press and continue to hold Y and then press LT to select the groin region, and then pull off the shot. Repeat 24 times and not only have you made 25 men (or women, although I'm making no sense) sterile, you've also unlocked yourself the achievement.

The Multiplicator

Achieve a multiplier of 10 or more in the Colosseum, or see another Hero do so.

The Multiplicator
2 guidesOnline/OfflineSingle PlayerCooperative

Now, some more of the Colosseum achievements. If, by any chance, you already haven't done this, I recommend that you upgrade your Inferno spell to level 5 which costs around 210,000 EXP. If you, at this point, don't have this much EXP, buy a couple of EXP potions to earn yourself some EXP and then purchase the Inferno all the way to level 5. Now I want your spell-layout to look like this:

Level 1: Inferno
Level 2: Inferno
Level 3: Time Control
Level 4: Inferno
Level 5: Inferno

With this set up, you may now enter the Colosseum. Upon entering, immediately start to charge up your spells, going all the way to level 5, inferno. When you see that the first wave of enemies are approaching you, let go of your spell, killing pretty much everything in your way. Having a sword will come in handy as fast moves are key for the following achievements. Every now and then you should use the Time Control spell to slow down both your enemies and the clock (every 20 seconds, more often the more you proceed in the Colosseum). During this time you should run around, killing anything you see. Every time you see an orb (called Flit switches), that will take your multiplier higher, use your Time Control and hit it with whatever's required. If the orb is blue, you will have to hit it with your melee weapon, if it is red, you'll have to use magic, and if it is yellow, then bring out your gun/rifle to shoot it. Once you hit the Flit switches nine times the achievement will unlock.

The Gladiator

Score a total high score of 20,000 points or more in the Colosseum, or see another Hero do so.

The Gladiator
3 guidesOnline/OfflineSingle PlayerCooperative

By now, you should've achieved a score of at least 20,000 points. If, by any chance you haven't, keep fighting the enemies and with a 10x multiplier to your points, you will very quickly pass the 20,000 milestone, granting you the achievement.

The Combatant

Defeat the necromancer in the Colosseum, or see another Hero do so.

The Combatant
7 guidesOnline/OfflineSingle PlayerCooperative

At this point you can start breathing again because now it won't matter if you get knocked out and lose your multiplier. The best thing to do is, of course, not get knocked out, but it won't be such a big deal. Either way you will have to keep going, using the Time Control spell and then either slicing the enemies with your sword or by turning them into Barbeque with your Inferno spell.

Keep doing this until you see a guy that spawns other enemies via purple lightning; this is the guy that you need to kill. Continue doing what you've been taught (Time Control, slice and burn) and try to time the Time Control spell so that you catch him as soon as he teleports (he teleports around a lot). Then run up and swing the sword on him. Sometimes he won't take damage by it. If this occurs then hold X for 1-2 seconds to charge up a more powerful attack that he won't be able to block. Repeat this until he dies, awarding you 20 glorious Gamerscore and an achievement.

The Con Artist

Find all 10 of Murgo's statuettes, or see another Hero do so.

The Con Artist
2 guidesOnline/OfflineSingle PlayerCooperativeCollectable

"To celebrate the record sales "Murgo's Big Book of Trading" enjoyed in its first year, the publisher commissioned a set of ten golden statuettes. Each depicted one of the salesmanship techniques Murgo describes in the "How to Scam a Sucker" chapter. All mysteriously disappeared from the warehouse before they could be marketed.", this is the reason to why you have to find all ten statuettes that mysteriously disappeared. I will now guide to every single one.

    • Murgo "Pay Me" Model: This will be given to you by Murgo himself together with the Snowglobe.
    • Murgo "Chicken" Model: [CURSED SNOWGLOBE] When you first enter the Cursed Snowglobe and when you go down The Well, you will eventually come to larger area. Once in this area look to the left and it should be there. Your dog will be useful here as it will bark when you're near it.
    • Murgo "Dancing" Model: [CURSED SNOWGLOBE] When you reach the Snowglobe Village, there will be a beach nearby. Locate the beach and go all the way to the left, there you will find this statue shining.
    • Murgo "Dismissive" Model: [CURSED SNOWGLOBE] Now head south from statue #3 until you come to a small bridge. Jump into the water and underneath the bridge find a dive spot. Dive in to find yourself in a new area, where your next statue awaits.
    • Murgo "Begging" Model: [CURSED SNOWGLOBE] Upon entering the Shadow Court, continue the path down and take the first turn to the left. Follow this for a couple of steps and then look to your right and you will see a breakable wall. Destroy it to secure your statue.
    • Murgo "Sycophantic" Model: [CURSED SKULL] When you first arrive at Celestial Keep, look behind the pillars to your left to find this statue.
    • Murgo "Slanderous" Model: [CURSED SKULL] When you're on the balverine path in Celestial Keep, you will notice some roots that you can slice with your weapon. Slice these and you will find yourself on a path. Follow this path to the next statue (next to the big Hobbe statue)
    • Murgo "Tickled Pink" Model: [CURSED SKULL] While heading back from #7 you will come across some water on the ground. At this point take the right turn and follow that path for a couple more steps. Once you see much more water than just a stream, take left and after that, take left again to see some more roots that you can hack through. Go through and there you will find your next statue.
    • Murgo "Optimistic" Model: [CURSED SKULL] Walk inside the Mysterious Cave and when you're in the center of it, take the stairs all the way until you've almost reached the top. If you now look to your right you can see that you can jump down to a stone ledge. Take a couple of steps and jump down again to pick up your ninth statue.
    • Murgo "Mad Trader" Model: [CURSED SKULL] Now locate the Poison River inside the Mysterious Cave and locate the Hobbe statue. Behind it you will see loads of barrels. The one on top is a red barrel that you can shoot, making them all blow up. Now walk behind it to be able to access the last statue.

Congratulations! Upon completing this, you have now the full 1250G that this game has to offer!
