Popular Xbox games — August 14th, 2022

By Heidi Nicholas,

Our latest Xbox Gameplay Chart of popular Xbox games sees Two Point Campus graduate into the top 20 after launching on Xbox Game Pass last week, with several new appearances and reappearances further down the chart.

Fortnite sits at the top of the chart once again, with Minecraft booting GTA V out of second place and into third. Fall Guys has stumbled down one rung on the Xbox Gameplay Chart ladder and now sits at fifth, with MultiVersus dropping two spots to seventh. PowerWash Simulator has almost fallen out of the top 20 and sits at 19th this week, presumably as Xbox Game Pass members move onto playing something else. Then there's Two Point Campus, which makes its debut appearance at 20th following its Xbox Game Pass launch. Cooking Simulator joined Xbox Game Pass a few days afterwards, and makes its first appearance at 30th. Just Cause 4, meanwhile, was part of the latest Xbox Game Pass weekly Quests, which seems to have boosted it back into the top 40 at 31st. Likewise, Chorus, which was also included in those weekly quests, has made it back into the top 40 at 34th. Then we have this week's last new appearance with Rumbleverse, which launched just last week. This week's disappearances are Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Smite, Watch Dogs 2, Battlefield 2042, and Assassin's Creed Origins.

As for what's coming over the rest of August; we do have Madden NFL 23, Saints Row, and Midnight Fight Express on the way, along with any other upcoming Xbox Game Pass releases Microsoft might have up its sleeve. What do you think will break into the top 40 next? Let us know in the comments!
