Well this seems bugged or might be tied to difficulty level. Killed more than 5 enemies on Story difficulty but the quest won't complete.

I tried on Story mode too, got 1 kill tracked. Not going forward at all atm.
Same, 1 kill registered, nothing after.
It might be based on whether you or another NPC gets the kill? I'm at 40% right now after three enemies, and the first I don't think I clicked to attack before the NPC ally killed it.
Well, I was able to get ahead of my party and killed another on my own and it didn't register.
I kept going and killed numerous things without my party. Stuck at 60% and not sure what I'm doing wrong.
I’m stuck at 80. Do you have to get all five kills without dying?
Killed more than 5 enemies (player created character got all the kills) without dying, saving, reloading. Still only at 1/5 kills.
