Ugh this one again?
Pick survival mode.
Go to settings and select auto walk on.
Start walking

I had to press LS for him to auto walk.

I think the first achievement you probably might unlock in survival mode is:

The Long DarkThe First of ManyprakkeroThe The First of Many achievement in The Long Dark worth 17 pointsSurvive 1 day in a single Survival Mode game.


But you should easily get the quest done way before you unlock that (just don't go to sleep etc.).

The last time we had this, I tried Auto Walk and I kept getting stuck in places. This is such a boring quest. But … here I go again.
